HIGHLY recommend Halseys Automotive. I'm visiting my brother in town with my two kids and was having a grinding sound with my breaks. I needed to get my vehicle looked at right away bc I had to leave the next day to drive to DC. I stopped made an appointment with two places, Halseys and another mechanic not too far from Halseys. I saw the other guy first who didn't even look at anything and told me I would need new breaks both front and back. He also pointed out a nail in my tire and said I would need to get a new tire. I told him I would get back to him and went to Halseys. They took my car back and took of the wheels to actually see what was going on. Turns out I still had about half the life left on my break pads! And the grinding sound was just some rust on the rotor's from moisture (had driven through a bad snow storm to get to my brothers house and then the car set and didn't drive for several days). So not only did they actually take the time to look at what was really going on, they noticed the nail in the tire and took it upon themselves to go ahead and remove the nail and repair my tire for me. They were personable, HONEST and very professional. Went above and beyond in my book! I'm a hard sell to give someone 5 stars - but Halseys earned it hands down!! I would feel comfortable sending anyone I know and love to them and know they would be in good hands.

Shop was fast, ordered my parts then called me when in & scheduled/repaired next day. Felt like I was treated honestly & fair. Price was what I was quoted. Had front brakes done. I would recommend Halsey's Automotive.

Halseys Automotive came highly recommended from a client and a new friend so I stopped in to schedule work and pre order parts for one vehicle and had what was a major issue with my other vehicle. Mr. Halsey asked to take a look and had the problem repaired in less than 4 minutes!!! Also he would not take any money. It was a big deal to me and he has my highest recommendation to anyone. That gentleman does business the same way I do. He looks out for his customers new and old.�

Richard Halsey is a wonderful auto, truck and RV mechanic. His prices are reasonable and his shop is clean. He does mechanical work on my RV and does an excellent job.

On our way last Thursday morning to go camping my husband had some truck problems last minute and had to get some seals replaced. You Got us fixed and back on the road in no time. Can t thank you enough for taking the time and dropping what you were doing to get us in and on the rd in such a quick turn around time. Really appreciate it. We know where to go for such great service and made others know as well! Thank you again!

Had my truck fixed here a couple times. Hasley stayed late one night to troubleshoot an issue on my truck the day before I was supposed to make a 2000 Mile drive across the country. This is a great guy who does great work. If you take your vehicle anywhere else in St Mary's you are making a mistake.

I have a hard time trusting any mechanic. Richie is great and after having to take my truck in for a fix which was told it was be expensive from another mechanic he informed me they were wrong and fixed the issue at no cost.
