The Service department is constantly poorly staffed and pushes for unnecessary work (but this seems to be an overall Toyota strategy at most dealers). The waiting area is nothing special with snacks for purchase only. Open area so not a whole lot of privacy.Big Toyota appears to have recommended dealers to push for many unnecessary work such as annual wheel alignments, annual vent cleanings, MAS air flow sensor work, etc. These aren't typically listed in maintenance schedules online but suddenly are presented as recommended when checking in the vehicle with a service advisor. I now immediately decline and do my own research.During a regular maintenance visit, I requested help enabling a feature in the car's computer which simply required an OBD hook up and checking a box in the car's computer setting (5 mins work tops). The dealer initially wanted to charge $200! I declined as buying my own tool is cheaper and give me my own diagnostic capability. They came back and offered to do it for free 15 minutes later...shady but I'll give a star for at least owning up to that. One maintenance visit was with a tire rotation work ($30). Didn't look like the tech rotated the tires as the tire with missing stem cap was still in the same position.Simple work like oil changes and tire rotations still take 3 hrs or more. They finish the work but the paperwork sits with the service advisor for 1 or more hours. My visits were on early Saturday mornings.Their Parts Department was out of stock of a part and offered to contact me after it came in. Went months with no contact so I finally called myself to find out they had the part reserved.Visited this place 2 times and never got a car wash. I've stopped going here and started going to Antwerpen Toyota about 15 mins west on MD 32. Much faster service (1.5-2hrs on Sat morning) and free car wash after just a tire rotation!

Excellent service. Quality of the work was great. They gave me a ride to/from home. Their waiting room is outstanding and immaculate; they even have a cafe. I will definitely use this service again.

Took my 2016 Prius in to assess for a rapid coolant loss issue and was able to work with Dimitri. Before getting into the slight issues I ran into with the mechanic diagnostics, let me just say that Dimitri did an excellent job on his end, and the only reason this review is still 5 stars even after running into some issues along the way is because of the great job that Dimitri did to ensure that everything was resolved in the best way possible. Initially, the diagnosis they made to my coolant loss issue was that they thought there was a leak in a pipe. So a week of waiting for parts and $2000 of repairs later (Dimitri was nice enough to put me in a nice loaner while waiting for parts to come in, free of charge) they sent me back on the road. Only took about a day or two for same issue to rise again. Reached back out to Dimitri. He apologized profusely for the diagnosis error (even though I was pretty sure it was actually the fault of the mechanic that conducted the diagnosis and not him, but I appreciated the professionalism of taking responsibility anyways) and took the car back in and promised to get down to the real root of the problem. He was able to set me back up again with a free loaner in the meantime. Finally got a call back with the unfortunately news: the issue was actually coolant leaking to the engine so long story short, engine needed to be replaced. Dimitri was fully willing to do whatever he could to get me back that $2000 that was spent for that initial misdiagnosed pipe repair, so he gave me a few options: take the $2000 of my engine repair, add the $2000 onto my trade-in, or take $2000 off a new car purchase. With the mileage and age of my car, the engine replacement would ve costed more than the car was worth, so ultimately decided to just replace it with the new Prius. Dimitri was able to work it out with their sales department so that the $2000 from that initial misdiagnosis was discounted off my new car to make amends. He let me continue to hold onto the free loaner car for the entire time that we were sorting this all out. Now happy in my new 2024 Prius Prime. So while they did have one mistake along the way with that initial mechanic s misdiagnosis, Dimitri did a wonderful job of fully making amends, and ultimately left me satisfied with my overall experience.

Darrel at the service center is an exceptional worker, he went above and beyond to make sure my vehicle was ready timely today. More credits to him.

Terrible. They told me 5-6 hours. Then after calling them, was told it needed to be kept overnight with more repairs. It would have been easier to handle if the representative didn t sound so bothered by me. Same situation today. I m told by noon, then I call after no communication to find out it will be ready end of the day. He sounded annoyed when I told him I needed the car back today. I was not rude at all, mind you. I ve maintained my cool throughout this horrible process. Rest assured I will not use this place for services again.

Went to have my vehicle service and was just a horrible experience. The service advisor just terrible. I sat there for a hour and a half after my 9:45 am appointment. The service advisor never came out to say if anything needed to be done to my vehicle. I finally went over to talk to him. He asks if I'm ready to go. Here sign this paper. I said so I guess everything is good with my vehicle. He told me no, you need breaks. So unhappy with this service department. Then hand me a estimate and didn't even ask if I wanted to schedule to have the work done. I guess this service department doesn't want my money.

Although the Service guys Kevin and Zack have been extremely helpful I just want to mention something. I made an appointment with the service center last week and clearly explained it would be a real waste of my time to come into Sheehy in Laurel if the part (a piece of color matched trim), they clearly said a representative would call me... never did, I went there and the part was never ordered. Sooo, while I was talking to the Service Representative I noticed when they were pulling my truck out of this bay a car door was opened and my brand new Tundra mirror snapped shut. I immediately mentioned it but I really wonder if I didn't see it done would it have been mentioned by the techs in the bay. Come to find out it had damage and the entire passenger mirror needs to be ordered and replaced. Once the parts are in I need to go back to have them installed.

I went to Sheehy of Laurel on August 24, 2021 and looked at a used 2015 Lexus NX200T. The salesman was very helpful at the time, however I brought my own mechanic while looking at used cars which he had noticed was leaking from the water pump, had an oil pan leak and had visible gear oil under the car frame. When asking for an inspection of this vehicle they delayed my questions and in turn sold the car this weekend. As someone who wanted to make a cash purchase I m utterly disappointed in the lack of response of the sheehy staff who is clearly more focused of selling any quality of vehicle rather than answering questions from a seasoned buyer. Good luck if you purchased that vehicle, but I would not recommend using this dealer for a used car purchase.Photos of under the vehicle below

This process was the worst. The customer service process was the worst, attitude in communicating and lying about leaving voicemail message to notify of tags. I purchased my vehicle in March 2023. I was informed tags were ready on 6/13/2023 because I followed up with salesman. Salesman was great and helpful.Service: Vehicle InspectionService: Vehicle Inspection

Had a wonderful experience at Sheehy Toyota Laurel. This is my second time coming here for service on our 2020 RAV4 Hybrid. This time, on top of our routine service, we did ask about interior and exterior detailing. Matthew at the check-in counter was extremely personable and answered all of our questions. They did an amazing job getting our car clean and the seats looking brand new. We dropped the car off at 11:00 and they gave us a call at 5:30 that our car was ready. For oil change, additional service checks, and interior/exterior detailing, I don t think six and a half hours is bad at all. They were very transparent about pricing and with their great customer service and technical acumen, I will continue to bring our cars here for service.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto interior vacuuming, Car waxing, Oil change

I went for my 6 month routine service for my Toyota very recently and was told that I also needed my tires changes as they were old (8+ years). Sheehy/Toyota had their "buy 3 get 1 free" (actually you pay 1$) sale going on, so based on the service reps feedback, I agreed to get this done. The total estimated cost was a lot higher than I had expected ($$$$)! Also they were really busy and it took them almost 4 hours...I was waiting for the work to be completed and had a long conversation with Mrs. Zeena Aziz, one of the Managers (in the new car section) and she was so helpful and very nice to speak to! She must have overheard my negotiation about the price and kindly stepped in to help with the negotiation. She spoke with the Service Manager and shaved off almost 300 of the list price. Thank you so much Zeena! :)If you go to Sheehy in Laurel, please ask for her, she will look after you and take care of you, just a pleasure to work & interact with her.Services: Tires, Tire rotations, Wheel alignment, Auto tire replacement

incredible!! How much incompetence from the service department team... well done guys your customer service sucks! If you don't want to work with customers you chose the wrong job... Hello! Is a "customer service".I've tried to find out about the parts for my vehicle (they place the order), and nobody in the whole department knows nothing. Instead, they transferred the call to voice-mail. What a shame of service, and the Manager, instead of resolving problems for the customer he is unreachable...

4 hours later and I'm still waiting for a single tire change... And this is with an appointment!Pre-purchase experience also 1/5: told sales person specifically that our top feature we needed was Android auto, sales person swore up and down the car had it. Guess what, it didn't and now we are stuck with a car that doesn't have the one thing we wanted. To me this is deceptive sales tactics, and the dealer couldn't offer any solution and wouldn't take the car back either.

Factory service visit. Kevin was our consultant. He was friendly, efficient, and upbeat. He promised us our car at a specific time, and he delivered. Also, the waiting area was greatly expanded. Only negative; The hot chocolate machine was totally inop, and it was a cold morning!

If you come to service your Sienna check to make sure you ask them to change your transmission fluid. It needs to be changed every 60,000 miles but when you come for the check in you need to ask and make sure because they may not let you know or may forget. And you will assume that you came for the check in so they did check all fluids but that may not be the case. Disappointed that I drove 30000 miles extra when I had brought in my car to be serviced and did not get what I thought was part of the expected check... Fluids all checked properly. Disappointed that the basics are not carefully checked and we still wait 3-4 hours.

I've had to bring in my car twice, once for regular (included) maintenance and once for a broken part on a new car. They've done the work both times to my satisfaction so no complaints there. My only gripe is it takes them a seemingly long time to do anything. I essentially just needed a tire rotation and had to wait just shy of 1.5 hours with an early appointment. Their waiting area is nice but I just wish I didn't have to be there for so long.

Avoid this place! Terrible service to include rude staff, long waits, and dishonest service advisors. They tried to turn me away for service because I didn't have an appointment (even though they had an open schedule online, I checked prior to going up there) despite me complaining that my car dash was warning of overheating and my A/C was not blowing cold. They literally kept trying to push me to make an appointment for another day until I mentioned that driving under these conditions was not safe for me to be transporting my baby especially considering it was 90+ degrees outside. After having my car for a day and a half they offered a loaner free of charge, but it was dirty, the paperwork took forever and was inaccurate as the mileage listed did not match the odometer, and it was not comparable size to my vehicle. They lied about so many things and were inconsiderate and it ended up taking over a week for them fix a part on a car that is only 1 yr old with less than 6k miles that shouldn't have needed fixing in the first place and then they returned my car without even so much as a vacuum or wash.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Air conditioning, Auto maintenance

Very nice interior. Had a gasoline smell though. I felt like I was being primed to pay top dollar here. Not many cars in their showroom. I think they were two. And, despite their lot being rather full, they didn't seem to have any lower level models for me to look at. By that I mean the normal models most people buy. They did seem to have some of their highest priced models available to look at, in the hot parking lot. I really didn't get much help with selecting a car. I guess they don't do that here. Oh wait, it's a car dealership. That's what they're supposed to do, right? I'm not quite sure if I'm qualified to purchase from them. Perhaps if I hired a limo, and arrived with great fanfare, maybe I would be treated as worthy to purchase one of their vehicles? Eh. It's a car dealership. What am I thinking? Nobody enjoys shopping for cars. What I can say in their favor is that, when I arrived at home, I did not feel the need to shower.

I had a great experience at Sheehy Laurel. They provide recall services that other locations don't, which is why I made the drive from Vienna, VA to Laurel. But in addition to that my service advisor, Na'Vaisha Nick, was fantastic. She was considerate of the fact that I had come a long way, and she got my in the system right away so my service could get started. While I waited in the comfy lounge (with wifi, comfy seats, tv, and coffee that is actually pretty good), Na'Vaisha Nick called me with updates, which was nice. The lounge was also very open with plenty of space between seats. It put me at ease that customers had plenty of space between each other, given that we're all trying to avoid COVID.Todd and the other service people that worked on my car were also great and super fast. They explained to me what service had been performed and gave me recommendations on how to maintain my car.Unfortunately, some of the services couldn't be performed that day, but they were sincerely sorry about that and offered me fair compensation in consideration that I had come all that way. I really appreciated that I could tell that they genuinely worked to right everything on my behalf. They also threw in the free car wash (part of having Sheehy VIP), which was really nice! Car was clean and the tires were polished and looked like new.Na'Vaisha Nick gave me a good tip to schedule any follow-up appointments early because they fill-up fast very helpful to know.I appreciated the updates on my vehicle, the tips and the quality of the service from Sheehy Laurel. Thanks, folks!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Normally I give 5 stars, but I'm giving 4 for this review simply because what usually takes no more than an hour and fifteen minutes for servicing my vehicle, took a little over 3 hours. Now maybe because I usually schedule my maintenance right when they open, and this appointment was scheduled for 9am, that perhaps that was the reason for the long wait. Make no mistake, the staff here continues to provide outstanding customer service, but this go round was a bit disappointing (perhaps I'm a bit spoiled after 7 years of getting in and out at a decent time). I will continue to have my vehicle serviced at Sheehy Toyota of Laurel, until the wheels fall off, but this recent experience caught me off guard a bit.

I really have nothing positive to say about this dealership. First the car buying experience was the worst. All I received was like after lie after lie Then I ordered accessories and they couldn't get that right. OMG. I have been to the dealership minimum of 6 times and my order still isn't right People please find another dealership do not use Sheehy Toyota Laurel.

Needed to unblock the sunroof blockage that was causing water leakage into the floor of the car on the driver s side. Was impressed & appreciated Matthew, the service advisor s professionalism & willingness to help. I must mention though that the problem was not solved since the car still got soaked during the last storm. Attempts to reach Matthew via the phone has not been successful.

I was turned away even know I had an appointment. I arrived a few minutes before my appointment and started to check in. Upon, checking in I told the advisor that I just needed an oil change for the day and he stated that they close at 3 pm. He started checking the information on my vehicle and he mentioned that I didn't need an oil change, just tire rotation. I told him that my light was on for an oil change. He proceeded to tell me that it was just going to be me, and him waiting since I was the last appointment. He insisted that I didn't need oil change just tire rotation, so we can be out by 3:pm. Needless to say, I cancel everything and walked away. This was my first time visiting this location and the experience make me feel like I was unwelcome. I will take my business somewhere else.

They are huge, big, a kot of people moving here and there, service was either slow or there was actual work load. Rotating tires took 2 hours. They are still good bunch to go back to11
