Overall, my experience with Volkswagen has been positive. The purchasing process at Orisman Honda was smooth, and the staff were helpful. However, there have been issues with a high-pitched noise coming from the driver s seat fan in my 2024 Atlas, which has been slightly disappointing. I appreciate the swift response from the service department to address this issue, and I am hopeful for a permanent resolution soon.

Rick Collins - an extraordinary Service Advisor: I must highlight the recent Service Excellence by Ourisman Volkswagen of Laurel, MD - Rick Collins was extremely kind, professional, courteous, and focused on service excellence. His friendliness, welcoming personality upon arrival, and the hospitality were exceptional. Me and my family are 100% satisfied with his service and the outstanding work done by the service department technicians and staff. I commend the leadership of the service department and the dealership for maintaining such a high level of professionalism, trust, customer service, care, and integrity throughout the service department. Extraordinary Employees like Rick (his leadership and service excellence) are the reason why my family keep on returning to the dealership for all our VW car purchases and service/repair needs. Rick was my service advisor. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with my car. I was skeptical about using Ourisman due to my experience trying to purchase the car (BAD) I bought it elsewhere. It s doubtful I would ever buy from them but I will certainly have my car serviced there thanks to Rick.

Ourisman Volkswagen Laurel, saved my car and my bank account. I contacted Volkswagen and a gentleman named Carlos answered all of my questions and comforted my concerns. He set up an appointment for me the very next week. After the inspection, Carlos itemized all repairs that I would need to get my car back to its former glory. Carlos worked with me to find deals and develop a payment plan that would fit my budget. He even gave me a loaner so I could continue with my daily tasks while Volkswagen repaired my car. After three days, I was able to pick up my vehicle, and it runs like it did when I first bought it! I recommend this location to anybody who needs maintenance to their Volkswagen.

The salesman and finance manager were friendly and courteous. That said, there were three things Idefinitely did not like about the experience. One, I don't like that VWhas two different MSRPs, base and total. This led to considerable debatebetween me and the salesman over the MSRP figure during the purchaseprice negotiation. That experience, quite frankly, was a turn off. I alsodidn't like the dealer add ons (wheellocks and nitrogen filled tires), aboutwhich I didn't find out until the laststages of the price negotiation. Quitefrankly, it felt like a ploy by the dealerto mark up the price needlessly. Finally, I didn't like how aggressive thesalesman and finance manager werein pushing additional dealerwarranties and maintenancepackages. I politely said I was notinterested but that didn't prevent the dealership from pushing. It wasn'tuntil I put my foot down that they finally backed off. Putting all threedislikes together, I don't know if I canrecommend this dealership or use itto service my VW in the future.

My car needed service and I wasn't able to receive a fast appointment at a different location. This location was more than accommodating with giving me an appointment the next day. This brought me relief as it's so hard coordinating car service with my busy work schedule.Carlos was my Service Advisor. All I can say is to just ask for Carlos! He's supportive, patient, and responsive.I will say that this location's prices are higher but you will have peace of mind and a healthy car!

The shuttle service was smooth and relaxing. The service department was detail and clear in the repairs and prices. All the work was completed promptly and with excellent results. Will take my car back for future repairs. However; the price is on the expensive side, but the work may merit it.

I purchased a vehicle on 11/28/23 and although the process was extremely lengthy, Cody was truly a big help. Sitting at dealerships for hours can be very draining but Cody remained calm and super helpful. He went the extra mile to make sure our service was top tier and that I left satisfied. 10/10 recommend!

When I arrived at the dealership on 26 Jan 24, the service staff were in a meeting in an office visible from the service counter. I had to wait several minutes until all the staff were dismissed before starting my service. I requested 4 tires that I provided to be mounted and balanced on the existing rims and a 4 wheel alignment performed. I had previously requested this same service at this dealership 4+ months prior and also declined the ACC calibration. The front tires were both bald on the inside portion of each tire. I additionally requested that the technician modify the factory camber setting to a less aggressive value to lessen the tire wear on the newer tires. The service advisor advised that my service this time would be $80 more than the previous service to performing the same steps as last time. I inquired about the difference and was provided a partial discount. I waited 2.5 hours, was told my car was finished and received a receipt. I inquired about the alignment results and was told by the service advisor that I was good to go. I then asked to see the Hunter Computer Alignment results report. Upon review of the report, I noticed that the values that I requested were not followed and the measurements taken by the machine were actually worse than when I brought the vehicle in for the camber adjustment (Red values were still listed in the report). I asked to speak with the technician to understand what work he had performed. He shared that he did the best he could to get the alignment done, but had issues. None of these were brought to my attention during the service being performed or upon receiving my key and receipt. I inquired about the issues and he said that the car needed the ACC calibration to be performed to align the wheels. I asked what steps in the ACC computer calibration would change the camber angle of the wheel and he replied that none of them would. In my confusion, I then asked what would be the cause of the car not being able to be aligned properly. He replied that it could possibly be a bad shock/damper or a bad spring. I asked which one is the problem on my car. He replied that he didn't know and would need to perform another service for $125 to diagnose the problem. Unfortunately, it was past 5pm and that service would take too long past closing and would need to be scheduled for another day. I asked why wasn't this information provided prior to payment. He replied that he didn't know. I then requested a quote for the cost of a set of replacement dampers and springs. With this information I left because I had several evening commitments to attend. I guess my concerns are centered around the 19% cost increase for the same service in less than 5 months, the lack of communication about the work results or lack there of, the same service was performed previously without issue and the tech cannot definitively tell me why the results this time are different and then I am directed to perform additional services that don't even address the problem.

I bought my vehicle here so I thought it would be good to bring it in for service. I ended up bringing it in twice. The first time I brought it in they charged me but failed to solve the issue. I had to bring it in again, and they told me it would be another couple hundred to actually fix it. I felt as though I couldn t trust their opinion and thought they were just trying to sell me the next most expensive thing that could possibly fix my car. I ended up going somewhere else and it s unfortunate that i ve lost trust with this location.

Our visit went smoothly even though we were there for about three hours we did have access to the shuttle which we used to go to Bob Evans. Also the recall adjustment was made so that we did not have to come back another day; we got a car wash and a print out of things that need to be attended to in the future and that was very helpful.

Excellent service experience! Ms Annette Rozetti took care of getting my car checked in. When a loaner became available, she got me set up with it. The tech had a challenging problem to diagnose but was successful with it. The tech gave my car a thorough going over as it was due its 140k service, and identified items needing replaced. I picked my car up and it drives wonderfully!

I was unfortunately dealing with a nail in my tire, and another autobody shop lost my key lock. I called several VW dealerships in the area and the Laurel location was the only one to provide me with immediate assistance. Coupling an awesome experience with their staff, Carlos Cordon was great! He was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. I couldn t recommend this VW dealership and Carlos enough! I will be returning.

Please stay away from this place!!! From sales to finance, this dealership is greedy beyond measures - they ll lie to you while looking straight in your eyes just to make a sale. They overcharged me on price along with a higher interest rate. They do not have the buyers best interest at heart! I will never recommend nor be back at this dealership.Their service dept is slightly better. But don t buy from them, take your service and money somewhere else!! I would give them a zero star!

Great team at Ourisman. It's so good that I took a train from NYC to grab my 2024 Atlas in Maryland. They beat every price I had and got me exactly what I wanted. Brian was awesome, and Helen was great at helping me understand that huge dashboard tablet. They kept their word, no hidden fees. Bo was great as well. I'm home safe in NYC, loving my Atlas

I highly discourage going to this dealership for vehicle maintenance. I visited this dealer twice for service. The first time I went there was because my memory seat wasn't working. Since my car was still under the manufacturer's warranty, I went to this dealer without any worries. The service advisor said that if it's a fault with the car, the warranty would cover it, but if it's due to my actions, I would have to pay a diagnostic fee of $260. I asked how it could be my fault if the memory seat wasn't working? In an indisputable tone, the service advisor asked, "What if you spilled coffee on it, causing damage?" Well, I was speechless. In the end, I didn't have to pay any fees because there was nothing wrong with the memory seat; it just needed to be operated in neutral. When I discuss issues with other dealers, they usually test, diagnose, and repair directly without making me sign any documents beforehand. This dealer just tries to shift the responsibility onto the customer. The second time I went to this dealership was because the driver's side seat was tearing along the seam. After explaining the issue, the service advisor told me to contact VW Care, saying they would only repair the seat if VW Care agreed to it, as they considered it wear and tear. Clearly, the tear was along the seam at the junction of two leather parts, indicating a quality issue with the leather. Alright, I contacted VW Care, and they said they had no authority to mandate what the dealer does, essentially meaning the service advisor was just brushing me off. I then reached out to their service manager, who stated that if my car had less than 40,000 miles, they would offer a repair. I don't understand what difference it makes to Volkswagen whether a car has 40,000 or 50,000 miles. Is there a special warranty for cars under 40,000 miles? Now, I'm driving over an hour to another dealer, where everything is going smoothly.JUST AVOID TOUCH WITH THIS DEALER.Update: other dealer didn t say anything and order seat cover for me.MY CAR STILL UNDER CPO WARRANTY.OTHER DEALER ORDER NEW SEAT COVER BY CPO WARRANTY

I had to take my Jetta here to get some work done that my independent mechanic didn't feel comfortable doing, and I'm gonna be honest, I am ready to be persuaded into coming back here for service in the future. My service advisor Rick was incredible and gave me some rock-solid advice that I really needed to hear overall about general maintenance on my car. My kid loved the drink machine in the lobby too, haha, so I guess the whole family was happy.

Service was great, I had a full 40k mile package done and the car is driving like it s new off the lot. It was done in a timely manner and most importantly the gentleman who checked me in gave me a realistic time estimate. Also the money that was shaved off the total for the military discount was greatly appreciated!

I brought my car in and rather than help me get my car back on the road, Carlos and Aiden both tried to charge me ridiculous prices for repairs that were not necessary for my car to be driving again. I felt like they did not actually care about me or my car but rather about making money off of me. I left with my car worse than when I dropped it off. I will never be backEDIT: I brought my car in due to an engine misfire. I have zero experience working on my car. Carlos said they would need to run tests to see what the problem is ($225). I said that s fine because I ultimately need my car working. After a couple days I finally heard back from Carlos who said I needed to approve repairs through a link online. There were 10 items that were urgent: needs attention totalling around $2500. I called back and asked what they found during the initial diagnostic that i was spending $225 on already. Carlos told me they were not sure and would need to run more tests, Compression test ($225) and a leak down test ($225). He also wanted to do a walnut blast (~$700). I approved the 2 additional tests and said no to the walnut blast. I made it clear i dont have thousands of dollars to spend right now and just want my car driveable asap and then I can schedule a more thorough maintenance a little later. Carlos did not seem to care at all. 2-3 more days go by and I dont hear anything. I tried calling but everytime I just got Carlos is the one working on your ticket and he is out of town. He will reach out when he gets back. That was ridiculous. I needed my car but because Carlos went on vacation my car was just sitting there??? I finally talked to Aiden who ultimately took over for Carlos. Aiden gave me the results of both the additional tests. Neither showed any issues. He then recommended new spark plugs, ignition coils, and carbon cleaning (all totaling around $2000). Through my own research I found that these repairs are doable by your average person. I let Aiden know to not do anything more on my car. I picked it up and drove it home, still misfiring worse than before but I made it home. I ordered the parts and did it myself for about $300. My car runs perfect now.I never received any direct answer from either service rep and was unable to speak directly with the tech that was working on my car. They will try and take advantage of people who don t know anything about their car. DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH. go to a smaller mechanic who will give a more fair price. This place is a total rip off

I recently just bought a car from here and had a wonderful experience! Everyone was so helpful and I ended up leaving with the car I really wanted, although I went to just look and had no intentions of buying. Boe was so helpful in the car buying process and made my first time buying so easy. He made sure that all of my questions were answered, worked with me to get the best price, and also has gone out of his way to help with anything even now after owning the car for a month. I cannot recommend buying a car from here and from him enough!!!

Brakes are grinding horribly and whistling but results from the inspection says they are in great shape. Got sent home uneasy and fearful that brakes will cause mortality issue.Update: Sent Bill an email and haven't heard anything as of yet. Will keep everyone posted. Apparently this brake issue is larger than just my vehicle it is cause for a recall.

I bought a Jetta during November 2024 at Ourisman VW of Laurel. The buying process was easy. The sales people were wonderful. I got the car I wanted. When VW corporate sent out the survey, I gave them high scores. But, after 4 weeks I called the dealership to inquire about when I will receive my D.C. license plate, parking permit and registration for the car. I do not have off street parking in Washington, D.C. I am required to pay for an annual D.C. Parking Permit in order to street park. The salesman that I spoke with told me to call back in 2 weeks. The dealership did provide a temporary MD license plate. I was able to acquire a temporary D.C. Parking Permit for 6 weeks. However, that permit expired the first of January 2025. Therefore, I was anxious to get the DC DMV package before then. Without a D.C. Parking Permit, my car would get ticketed daily. When I spoke to Robert at the dealership 6 weeks after purchasing my car, he told me that he had not filed the D.C. paperwork with the DMV, yet. He assured me that my MD license plates were still valid. I then explained that I needed the DC permanent Parking Permit by the first of January 2025. After copious emails and telephone calls, it took 10.5 weeks to receive my D.C. license plate, Parking Permit and registration for the car. Therefore, if you are a D.C. resident that has no off-street parking, you will need to contact Ourisman VW weekly and stress how important it is to acquire a D.C. Parking Permit. I paid the dealership $485 for this service. I would rather have filed the paperwork myself, saved the money and gotten all of the requirement documents from D.C.'s DMV in a timely manner.

The latest update regarding Ourisman Volkswagen of Laurel's refusal to honor the warranty for my cracked seat:After Ourisman Volkswagen of Laurel refused to honor the warranty for my cracked seat, I visited Volkswagen of Fallston on February 29th. The service advisor and mechanics, upon seeing the condition of my seat, made no excuses or demands for me to contact VW Care. Unlike Ourisman Volkswagen of Laurel's service manager, they did not attribute the issue to external influences. They immediately ordered a new seat cover for me and replaced it by March 4th. All I had to do was pay a $50 CPO deductible. It's well-known that Volkswagen cars, compared to Japanese brands, might have more minor issues, and responsible dealers are crucial for ensuring customer satisfaction with new Volkswagen sales. If your vehicle is under factory or CPO warranty and suffers damage, it's best to steer clear of Ourisman Volkswagen of Laurel. For issues beyond obvious fault lights, they attempt to have you sign off, and if they deem the problem not inherent to the vehicle, you could be charged over $200 for diagnostics. Based on my experience, other Volkswagen dealers typically offer free diagnostics for warrantied vehicles without requiring any contracts to be signed prior to repairs. The behavior of OurismanVolkswagen of Laurel is disgraceful.

Shady activity.I bought my vehicle here in October. The sales team was great no problems there, however the admin side has been extremely unprofessional. 2 months after my purchase I was contacted saying I owe more on the vehicle tax I have spoken to numerous individuals including Rob the sales manager and Brian Deckert (who keeps telling me to re-explain my situation to everyone he refers me to like I work there). Every single time I called they have a different value the one trend the value continues to increase. My temporary tags have expired and they have no sense of urgency or clarity on this matter I have been dealing with this for the last 3 weeks and there has been not one clear directive on how to solve this issue. This is preventing me from registering the vehicle with the DMV and subjecting me to tickets due to lack of vehicle registration.
