Julia, front desk, is extremely rude. She gets huffy and smart mouthed if you ask too many questions. She yelled at me. She told me she'd call me when my bumper came in, no one ever called me. She then lied and said I was mistaken and that she said she'd call me if it didn't come in or something nonsensical like that. The fact is I had to call in to ask when my bumper was in and when I did, they'd already painted it so...when was someone going to call me to bring my car in? They probably weren't. So they told me to drop it off and they'd get it done the same day. Now she's saying it'll take two days and it matters because I don't have a car otherwise. I get the feeling that her short fuse and bad attitude is condoned because she put it on full display in front of other customers. She told me to "stop". Then said she was going to get her manager and before she walked out, she tried to continue arguing with me. She stood up, she had her hands raised, she said "I'm not doing this today", just really unprofessional and ignorant. I know it's a body shop and you're dealing with dirty car parts all day but don't disrespect your customers because you're definitely not the only option we have and because of this display and the likelihood that her manager will probably be just as rude and brush off her attitude, I'll never come back. And this is my 3rd time using them. I don't do disrespect.

Unfortunately I've had to use Gerber twice. I say unfortunately because the first time was from a collision and the second time was from an attempted theft. Both times they took great care of the car and did all they could to keep things timely (even though the parts were hard to get). One of the few shops in Laurel I actually trust.

Had my car repaired here due to a collision. Gerber did an amazing job at restoring my vehicle back to pre collision condition. Julia was a delight, and had amazing communication before, and during the process. She was very professional and overall great to work with! Thank you, Julia and Gerber!

Excellent customer service. Got us in first thing in the morning on Monday and received my car back on Thursday. It was very nice to have the car rental hooked into the garage so we could pop over there. Definitely would return

I didn't have any work done by them. I met someone there that dropped off their truck to be repaired. The truck was good after the repairs were done.

Amazing results, outstanding service, exceeded expectations! I was in a car accident and Allstate recommended Gerber Collision. The appraisal process with Janell was easy and seamless. Although there was a mix-up in the date I should bring my car in for service, the situation was quickly resolved. My car was ready a week before the estimated date and it looks amazing, almost showroom new. They even cleaned the inside! Janell is the best!! I highly recommend Gerber Collision in Laurel.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

This is the fourth time I have taken my car to Gerber Collision & Glass for repairs, and each time the folks at Gerber have done an absolutely amazing job - I highly recommend taking your vehicle there for body and/or glass repair work, you won't be disappointed!!! The folks there (Julia, Portia & Tyler) are friendly and courteous too.

They fixed my truck bumper and right front quarter after some flying tractor trailer tire retread caught me head-on on the highway. Repair estimate was 1 week, and they were done on time. Truck looks great and there's a good warranty in case I discover lingering issues later. They worked seamlessly with my insurance, which was as-expected since they were a recommended partner that my insurance company recommended.The one cautionary thing about this location is its limited parking. The lot is usually over-filled with cars and trucks, so be careful on approach and probably park on the street.

The only location I will have work done at is in Laurel at the split in route 1. They have done an excellent job more than a handful of times for my family, friends and also myself.

They did a good job and customer service is top notch! They did keep my car week and a half past the original completion date. Luckily, insurance paid for almost 4 weeks of rental car. It would have been a no go situation if I didn't have the rental.

I had a wonderful experience! Everyone was very friendly. They provided fast, quality service and kept me updated on a daily basis. My car was even completed ahead of schedule and looked amazing! In addition, Enterprise Rent-A-Car is connected to the building, which is very convenient. They also provided excellent customer service and gave me a nice, brand new car to drive. I would definitely recommend both Gerber Collision & Glass and Enterprise Rent-A-Car to my family and friends! :-)

Terrible service. Sent my car to another location without telling me. Filled out paperwork with my number and still called the wrong number. My husband got no phone calls or texts telling me they were moving my car which was the number they kept calling even after speaking with him and giving the correct number. Never called with an update and drove my cat without my permission. Thank God work was done well but will never use them again

Quick fast timely repair that impacted quality. While the work was performed in a fast manner, me truck was returned to me with overspray all over the vehicle. The adjuster removed some of the overspray but it was clear that there was much more to be removed. The vehicle was not taken back into the shop to buff out oversprayed areas on glass, plastic components, and body. Then referred me to purchase paint thinner to remove overspray. To my dismay they were referring me to use paint thinner against plastic components and the body?? I'm glad I had better sense than that.Service: Painting

Total waste of time. The whole office is a joke, and there is a lack of professionalism. Too many other shops in the area, to have to deal with this non-sense...and just add to the nonsense at this shop, the person who had done the estimate had said it was a "total loss". SO.. I took it to an actual shop, and they are able to repair it.

I dropped my car off with Gerber on September 20th due to an auto accident that caused my car needing both front and rear end replacement. Tyler was my appraiser and kept me updated every step of the way. Not only was he kind, professional and polite, after picking my car up my check engine flashed on me and he ran a diagnostic on my car so I was able to take my car to a mechanic the next day to fix the issue. (By the way Tyler, you were right! I needed a tune up. You re the man, man!!) I highly recommend Gerber for any body work needed on your car! I had a flawless experience with these guys. They were very transparent about their process and their staff is very nice. They told me they would replace my bumper instead of repairing it, it would take a few days to come in, and once they took off the bumper there might be more to repair. They told me everything before they did any work, and they were very pleasant to work with. I even needed to borrow my car for a day mid-repair, and they were totally fine with that. They handled everything with my insurance company (USAA) so all I did was drop off the car, wait, and pick it up. These guys are great and I highly recommend them.

After a traumatizing incident with a deer, Gieco sent me to this Gerber location in Laurel. They were very helpful answering all of my questions during the initial process and gave me a timeline for the work right away. They gave me updates at least twice a week as each stage of the car was being worked including ordering parts, paint, etc. Gieco handled the finances directly and all I had to do was show up to pick the car up. It was encouraging to work with Casey, who despite my frustrations sometimes (not due to Gerber, but with the car part manufacturers), was patient and answered all my questions and advocated for me to get my car back as soon as possible. When I received the car back it looked good as new and overall a very good experience considering any car accident is always very stressful. Would definitely recommend!

They did a great job fixing my front bumper, but I rated them two stars because after driving around a few days I went to a different shop to see why my tire pressure light was on and there were nails in my tires that weren't there before. We also got an email that our car was ready once and once we got there it wasn't. It was a bit of a hassle in my opinion and kind of frustrating that their emails are inaccurate .

Took my car to this shop due to them being the only one to get my car in the day after my accident. People where friendly, and always willing to help. BUT the work they do is AWFUL! I went to pick up my car the day the said it was finished, but had a patch mark on the front door uneven from the rest of the door. It was about 12x24" Not something you could miss. They kept it for another 3 days, got it back filthy (inside and out), over spray, and buff marks from front to back of my car. I'm now getting quotes to get it fixed else where, because I do not want them to touch my car again. Do yourself a favor and get your car fixed elsewhere!

01/09/2018:After my last post, Vice president of Marketing called and asked me about my complains, I have explained and he did listen. Promised to take few steps to improve the service quality in his end.I finally left my car with Gerber on Jan 3rd, 2018 and received my car back on Jan 9th, 2018. The service on the car exceeded my expectations (replaced the bumper completely) and I am changing the rating to five, I believe, which they have earned it./*****************************/Post on 12/22/2017/*****************************/Please be careful about these location of Gerber Collision & Glass, 9943 Washington Blvd N, Laurel, MD 20723.These guys gave the lowest quote for my vehicle to get the insurance blessing and get their estimate approved. Insurance companies loved it since its cheap.I have damage in the bumper and they only provided 2 hours estimate to fix it. I went to RPM Collision center they said the Bumper has to be replaced. Gerber did not account for painting and other jobs.They are unprofessional and poor in service, Please do yourself a favor. Go to couple of Collision center before you ask your insurance to forward the claim to the Gerber, They are cheap and therefore Insurance company Love them so much.

Had a fender bender and this location was one of two near me that worked with statefarm. The other gave me an estimate of nearly 3 weeks later than Gerber, so I went with Gerber.The estimated time frame was a week, but within 48 hours the damage was repaired and it looked like new. Everyone I worked with either over the phone or at the location was friendly and direct about the process.Although I didn't have to pay because I was not at fault, the other location was also about $200 more for roughly the same amount of work so I'm glad I picked Gerber.Very happy overall and would recommend, only slight knock is the location, there isn't much parking in the lot so you may need to leave the car on the side of rt 1.

I was extremely impressed with the professionalism of the staff. They made a stressful situation fluid and easy to navigate. At all times I was provided with detailed explanations of the work from the estimate to the final product. I especially want to thank Alex Machuca. He managed my expectations and made sure that the end result was quality product and work. Was able to bring in my car a day after my accident and got an estimate. Employees were nice and the outcome of my vehicle was the way it looked when I bought it. There were some issues along the way, like failed/broken parts shipped in, or wrong parts which delayed the pickup day by 11 days but glad I got it back.

I've had my car repaired at Gerber a couple times. They always have great service and do really good work in a reasonable amount of time. Prices are decent as well.

Called this company about replacing a windshield and was given one price plus the promise for a greater discount for being a first responder; but when I called, the rude woman that answered the phone stated the former representative didn t know what he was talking about and raised the price $30. She stated that anyone else that quoted us less was replacing the windshield with a used windshield. Investigation proved this to be totally inaccurate. Don t waste your time with these unprofessionals. Plus, she kept talking over us and interrupting us.

They really DO NOT care about your car, they left my car trunk completely open at night, they did not locked the doors, a thief came and searched inside my car, he popped up the hood and stole the battery, when I went to pickup my car, it did not start, I told them but they showed me the sign that they are not responsible for personal things, sometimes if you go for pickup your car, if your car is without engine or transmission, do not be surprised, I m sure they will show you the sign that they are not responsible, it was my experience with gerber and it was my responsibility to share it with youService: Body & Trim

I have Geico insurance. I took my Mercedes to Gerber on Washington Blvd in Laurel, MD for an estimate for body repair work, Friday, 5/17/13. We arrived at approx 5:10 pm. A guy named Gary told us "we close at 5 o'clock you didn't know that? And you need an appointment for an estimate. He said i can look at the car and tell you about how much it will cost." I told him that i did not come for a verbal estimate, i came for a written estimate. I did not like his attitude and he didn't seem interested in our business. I have used Gerber in the past and also frequently rent cars from Enterprise car rental which is in the same building. I was not treated like this when I used Gerber the first time. He went on to tell us when we were getting in the car that the parking lot is tricky and very small be careful! He talked down to us and I will never go back there again and will post this review so that others will know. I will inform Geico of this too. I did not receive a verbal or written estimate from Gary. The hours are 8-5:30p I found out later after leaving the shop. I did not know what the hours were when I was there. There were other customers being served when we arrived. Not courteous. It was this guy Gary and the treatment I received that prompted me to post this review. Customer service and the way you make a customer feel can make or break a business.

The guys there are hospitable and friendly. I received honest quotes, with no sugar coating about the condition of my 08 DTS whereas most would just want to take your money, NOPE not these guys they will give you the bare bones truth! I also wanted to thank Xavier for taking extra time out from his lunch to help me get my personal items from my 'total loss' vehicle...great bunch of guys here and I am grateful for their help when I needed it most.
