This place needs to be closed or the employees RE-TRAINED ASAP. Went in to get a few stuffs and stayed in line for 25 mins before leaving with no service. Staffs are soooo slow and a simple self checkout with go a long way as they spend like 5-10 mins assisting each customer slowly. Maybe this location needs to put some fast thinking staffshere. The service is needed as this is one of the very few left in busy LAUREL.Maybe they closing soon cause it don t look like someone is paying attention.

7 minutes on hold. Then I called back and didn t even give me a chance to speak. Back on hold I was put on. If you need a battery, just go to another more reliable place on route one. They have all the batteries you need in the laurel shopping center.

I ordered online and was here for pickup. It's a huge Auto Parts shop, clean, good parking space and well stocked. The staff were up to their job.

Purchased a battery. They told me they could install it. I waited for 2 hours. The manager was rude to the employee when he asked for help.

Horrible customer service. I went in because my a/c was blowing hot air. The lady at the counter was very unhelpful. I ask a question about her recommendation for how people fix a a hot a/c and she advised me to go to a mechanic and when asked about the refrigerant she told me to YouTube how to use. It was clear she really didn t want to help me. I definitely won t be going back.

I went their without checking the rating online. I experience the worst service by the so called BRANCH MANGER DEVEAR. I went their for a simple Batterie check. This persons was dismissive and don t want to help and advance my day as you claim the company molto. Basically he don t want me in the branch basically he just saying get out. All I need was a simple batterie or alternater check. I said to him may be I didn t explain it properly the condition of Vehicle at least can you see me as I try to ignite the car or can I borrow or purchase a battery tester. He refused all. I think he is wrong job

Went to a Advance Auto parts in Laurel MD to drop a UPS envelope the associate name 'Kiki' refused to accept the envelope told me to go to UPS store. That employee has horrible customer service she doesn't care about helping clients before me she told a client if he wanted to know the difference he needs to read. This employee was rude and when I recorded her she threatened to break my phone and to beat me up. Told me to meet her/him outside . I have a video showing him how he threatened my life.

It was clean and well displayed. The young ladies behind the counter were helpful. The only gripe I have was that I know how to look up parts myself and I wish the books were out on the floor so people could come in and find what they need without having to stand in line for parts lookups. Other than that, it was a good overall experience and the staff were polite and pleasant.

The employee at this store with dreadlocks is very disrespectful and rude. I only came to this location to pick up a package that was sent here, spoke to a cashier with dreadlocks and he was rude and impatient and rushed me out the store without properly assisting me. He insisted my package was not there even when I showed him my tracking info and he asked me to leave the store and come back in a few days. This made no sense to me because UPS sent me an email saying if I did not pick the package up before Friday it would be returned. So I called UPS, who confirmed my package was definitely there at this store. I went back to this store the same day and another employee, named Mohammad was very kind and pleasant, he found the package in less than 2 minutes and he mentioned the previous employee was new and probably did not take the proper time to look for it. Basically everything the previous employee said to me was a lie and if I would have left and came days later like he said my package potentially could have been returned. and the employee was still in the store but did not even bother to apologize for his mistake and then he had the audacity to make rude remarks while the other employee found my package. Very poor experience and I can t believe I had to go through so much just to pick up a package. I could have saved so much time if the first employee could have taken the time to do his job instead of trying to rush me out the store when my package was there all along.

I've been going to Advance Auto Parts since the early 2000s. I've purchased parts from stores in KY, PA, NJ, NY, MD. Etc. This store ranks in the top 5 for worst in customer service, inventory management, wait times, etc. The oil recycling container in the back of the store is always "full" according to the employees also. Do yourself a favor and drive to the other Laurel store on route 198 towards 295.Update:There is no way for me to reply to comments other than doing an edit to my previous post. I appreciate that the management is taking the time to read and reply to comments but can we do more than that? Can we actually take action to correct the issues and deliver actionable results? I'm not the only one who has made complaints and management almost always responds saying they are looking into it and taking action. But, there is no proof in the results.

Martins Ogbu you only saw the front end of the store. TRUST me they have a lot of FLAWS. This store is FILTHY! There are rats and mountains of dirt in the entire store. The mop that is used to mop the floors is disgusting and needs to be changed. I shared this info to the District Manager and nothing was done. Unfortunately, you don't know what goes on behind the scenes. Corporate can care less about the how the General Manager Latisha Green treats her employees at this location. She is the absolute worst GM on the planet. She has her drivers driving in vehicles that have expired tags and registration. She's a FAKE individual who will lie and tell you in the same breath I got you. Mouth will say anything behavior shows. Latisha Green displays a character/ attitude of selfishness. She only cares about Her bonus. She's rude and very disrespectful. If you are looking for a job DO NOT apply here. It would be a waste of Your time. The work environment is a revolving door on a consistent basis and the Corporate office supports it. They could care less about how unsanitary this store is. It's ALL about the sales and Latisha's bonus. Advance Auto Corporate office supports this toxic work environment. Just ask Carlos her District Manager. The store and bathroom are so DIRTY and disgusting I had to go next door to the Giant to use the bathroom. I thank GOD I was removed from this work environment. It is the WORSE place to work on the planet and corporate knows it. Beware!!!!

Would not except a return with receipt and said Go to originating store of purchase. That store happened to be 57 miles away from Laurel. Why would a chain store have that as a policy....

NEVER SHOP HERE. It s super unfortunate how much the General Manager Latisha knows about customer service and how she treats her guests at this location. Never in my life have I felt so disrespected by her ignorance trying to be right about AA return policies that weren t clear to begin with, to then her trying make her point by pointing at different signs saying that return policy is plastered all over the store but the entire time all the papers she kept pointing at were social distancing signs. The fact that this so called manager likes to belittle and talk down to her customers is lack of training in customer service & clearly lack experience that needs to be dealt with. Imagine .. if this is how she acts with customers, how must she act with the people that work under her And mind y all this was over a part THAT DIDNT FIT PROPERLY ON MY CAR.

Great location, plenty of parking.Staff is great, but it seems like they are always short staffed because of the line. I may be wrong, but there is always a little wait every time I go there.

I ordered online , and received 2 email reminder for pick up. When I pick up in store , the guy is really rude act like boss, just simple word can t find my order in system, call 800, no other explanation. I told him I got 2 email remind ask me to come pick up, he just repeat call 800 ask customer service, and very mean repeat to me ask me stay out the counter. This is terrible service here , no customer service at all !!!

Its always something with this store. 2 days ago i called for curbside and was put on hold for 15 minutes. Finally left and decided to come back a different day. Checked the store website and Google for store house on a Sunday. It says they close at 9pm. Show up at 7:47pm to pick up my online order but the door is locked and the woman refuses to open the door. She said they close at 8pm and when explained it was only 7:47 she didn't care and walked away.

Came in looking for a couple items to help with my planned spark plug change. Advance auto should be my spot right?NOPE! I look around and dont find any of the items im looking for. No worry, i wait in line to get some help. Lines work, right?Not here! I ask for a couple prices that i expect will need to be ordered, no surprise. Then i find the 2 smaller items i wanted at the register and ask about a specific tool. Cashier says that its behind locked glass. Ok, can we go get it?Yup, i walk over and start looking .wheres the associate? Helping the next person in line.Yeah that makes sense. I wait in line just to lose my spot because the task required is a little inconvenient.I ask why the line functionality suddenly stopped working? He looked at me and said i could still cone up and finish, but hes got people hes in the middle of helping.Sorry advance, if you dont train for customer service you dont get this customers money.

I love Advance Auto overall, since they have a huge selection and very reasonable prices. The very common sales online make online ordering for pickup in store a great option for me. However, the service at this particular location is always quite slow whenever I shop here. Even when not terribly busy, the lines move very slowly. And unlike at other locations and other businesses (like PB s), even when only coming in to pickup an online order, you have to wait through the entire line with customers shopping in store since they use the online pickup register for normal in-store orders as well. I m not sure if it is supposed to operate this way, but it definitely convinces me to shop at other locations. Not always the nicest staff here either. I would definitely recommend visiting another location when possible, but at least you will get everything you came for when shopping here!

Customer service was bad. The associate was very aggressive physically and verbally when I complains about delays in the services provided. When it was may time of service, he did help get the right item for me but instead, send me to look for it on my own and did wait to serve me but had me go back of the line when I was able to get the items in just 2 minutes. When I complains, that was the time he became very aggressive and refused to serve me and send me out of the store.

I really don't like this shopping center at all, Ive only found people here to be extremely rude and most workers in the area to be as unhelpful as possible, but I was very surprised at how kind the workers here were and how helpful they tried to be. Giving it 5 stars just off of that. Otherwise it's your standard car shop

There s a chain of these stores, so please save your time and find the NEXT closest one. This store has a manger named, Mohammed that is very rude and shows lack of patience. The store is closed frequently due to Computer Down as the paper reads on the locked door. When open, they are VERY short staffed and the new employees lack knowledge to effectively provide assistance.

Also convenient location.. staff very polite.. BUT ALWAYS SHORT STAFFED..!! OR STAFF MEMBER DOING INVENTORY ON THE FLOORS WHILE CUSTOMERS WAIT IN LINE.. " IN - LINE "..leaving the other one or two to deal with the line of customers.. I think , get the line down and out , then go back to doing inventory duties...PS: JUST READ ANOTHER REVIEW DATED 7 MONTHS AGO..HAD SAME ISSUES AS NOTED IN MY PRESENT REVIEW NOTES.. SAID U WOULD FIX IT... STILL NOT FIXED 7 MONTHS LATER...what is the excuse NOW????????!!!????

Customer service representative was professional. The representative stated they don t do scan tool for engine or transmission. They only do batteries and something else.Recommended AAA.
