I had my car towed for a dead battery??? When all I needed was a new battery, took 1 hour for tow truck to reach me when I m less than 7 minutes away from a shop. Car was leftover night at the shop, next morning I received a phone call and was told they would have a technician check the car out. Received another phone call within minutes saying I would need a new battery, which is exactly why I contacted AAA. After those two phone calls they went dead on me I walked to the shop to see the progress on my vehicle, stated they needed to check the starter and alternator. I was fine with that, but after waiting SEVERAL HOURS for a phone call once I realized I wasn t getting a phone call I called them over 10 times with no one picking the phone up I walked to the shop extremely frustrated with the service that was provided today. Upon receiving my vehicle my cables were missing from my trunk and when I asked for my old battery back one of the mechanics said I would have to pay an additional $50. It s extremely inconvenient having to miss work due to this poor service! I would never recommend this facility to anybody. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!!! if I could give zero stars I wouldn t even give them that.

$550 for a car battery. Yes, you read that correctly. They overcharged me about $150 for the battery itself. I brought it to their attention, even down to the part number, and they refused to make a correction. They said if I was unhappy they ll take the battery out and I can tow it someplace else for service. Unbelievable.

Friendly staff but if you are traveling a long distance do not choose to book an oil change it took over 2 hours. The reason being is because they didn't have the oil filter on site and needed to order it for same day delivery setting us back on our travels.

I would have to start off by saying that this was my first and will be my last visit to this service center. Had an appointment @8:30 which I arrived for on time, was helped by even Mark Occonnor, my service request was for an oil change and brakes, was asked what time would I like to pick up I emphasized ASAP as I needed my truck for work. I was sent an estimate through text @ 10:10 am for $606. I called in to the service center to confirm all my requests were included in the price, was told that was the wrong amount, so was sent a new estimate @ 10:31am with an amount over 1k. Waited for over 4hrs, called back to check on status and Mike answered told me he would call me back in 4 mins that he had a customer in front of him, never received a call back. I kept calling to the service center, called over 7 times and no answer, so I decided to drive up to the service because it was already past 5pm and knew closing time was @ 6pm. When I walked in I asked for Mark and was told he left at 4pm! So I would say that the lack of communication and or follow up is unacceptable. My vehicle was just sitting there for hours and no one called to notify me with a status nor completion of service. I wonder what would ve happened if I never have showed up?? I spent over 1k for a service that I couldn t even get a call back for. I never received a call for the incorrect amount of the estimate, I did. Never received a call to let me me know status and or completion of my truck , I did. Mark s service was unsatisfactory and unacceptable, being the face of an establishment as a Mgr. clients should be priority and not leaving like there is no value to our business as the clients that make the business.

The work was done on a timely basis and all repairs were clearly pointed out on my receipt as well as suggested items to address. My only complaint was that they didn't return my 5 year battery that they replaced and it was only a year and a half old. I had planned on returning it to the auto parts store for a credit. They said the recycle person picked it up earlier. I pointed out I wanted the battery. Otherwise my rating would be higher.

Went here to get an international driver's license/permit and it was such a great experience! They took the photos for us and then processed it within 30 mins, no appointments necessary. Clean, tons of brochures and maps, and lots of travel accessories and luggage.

Very friendly and welcoming. Nice building. Javier was awesome at helping me and making sure I got everything I needed. He made sure I knew of every step of the way. Car was done within a couple hours. Tires looking nice on my SUV. Recommend this place to anyone and would definitely come back. Ask for Javier he will make sure everything gets taken care of.Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Wheel alignment, Auto tire replacement

I called in for an insurance quote and was greeted by Chanel who is absolutely awesome, very friendly, and helpful. She was able to provide me with quotes for my many autos, motorcycles, and home owners insurance. I felt like I was finally "In Good Hands" after being with Allstate for over 19 years and Progressive for two years. She was able to match my coverages and beat the prices of both my previous companies. All goes to prove that staying loyal only puts money in the pockets of executives and stock holders. I look forward to new policies with a company where I'll have a local agent again.

Laurel has a lot of car repair shops, but this one is pretty nice inside and has SAE mechanics, so it is always busy. A rest room you would not mind using, for example...Becoming so busy that they are starting to skip over inspections they say they are going to do, just to meet their appointment demands daily. Be wary.

This was our first time visiting the AAA center in Laurel and it was quite nice. My wife and I are planning a trip overseas and we needed an IDP, International Drivers Permit and the process only took 15min.When we first arrived we where greeted by our attendant Beverly who was very nice to deal with.. please make sure that you ask for her!!As I mentioned this was our first time visiting this location I was completely blown away with the level of service that we received.Whenever your planning your next trip I highly recommend stopping by and checking them out..

Today we brought back an item for a refund with a receipt, card and physical ID as well as the item unopened. At time of purchase we were told it was returnable as we specifically asked because we were unsure if we would use it. Today upon asking for a return we were instructed "I just work here and to see a manager next Monday." Disappointing service and lack of training. We've had mechanical service here before and never an issue. We are also AAA members.

Very poorly managed. Takes time to get assistance on the service side. Advertised oil change Bogo. Went it and ask for the price of one oil change since it wasn't in the ad. They said to wait, after an hour inquired again, they said they already about to start, that it's $105 for oil change in a sonic. Outrageous. Even a Dealer doesn't charge that much

I am giving a 3 because communication with customers is lacking. I dropped my car off at noon on Tuesday for a gas cap (diagnostic) and did not get it back until Thursday around 1:30 pm.Had it been diagnosed at my noon appointment time on Tuesday perhaps they would have found out earlier what was wrong and the gas cap could have been ordered that day and I could have gotten my car back in 24 hours.Better communication on the process is needed.

Extra thanks to Joe and Team! Didn't expect to be back so soon, but then bumped into something. Thank you for getting us back to business so quickly.Thanks so much AAA Cherry Lane!! We took both the family cars in this weekend. The office Team was so friendly and flexible, and the auto Team helped us figure out what each car needed and was not just checking boxes. We had lunch nearby while the cars were in service, it was a great way to get things done. Thank you all & see you next time!

Just left this location very upset. Had a wonderful towing experience into the location but I was greeted by Beverly :) thank you. She told me to speak to car care. I approached the desk telling the representative the issues when a guy intrusive interjected our conversation and started asking questions. He told me that just having my one free hour of diagnosing would be pointless if it s gonna be longer. All in all he didn t want to do it! He was very rude and tells customers they will be spending hundreds and thousands after speaking to him. He very aggressive verbally and adds to it by his facial expressions m. Who ever hired that guy needs to immediately get I. Touch with him and write him up. It wasn t about the money it was the customer service for me! I left this location and was able to receive the proper care for my vehicle. It was way to aggressive speaking to a women with a child and it made me feel like my car was not in the best care. Please remove this individual as AAA will have many ppl walking out with that behavior of his!!!

This place is not safe to leave your vehicle overnight they don't make sure your vehicle is properly locked up.And expect your vehicle to have items stolen and if reported to managers they don't give a Damm.BAD EXPERIENCE THERE AND VEHICLE STILL NOT WORKING RIGHT DON'T WASTE YOUR GAS GOING THERE

Excellent service. Helpful, efficient and quality repair of my vehicle. Driving from NY to FL on I95 when my car experienced engine trouble. Thankfully, it happened in this location. I was on my way quickly with trust in my car for rest of my trip. Thank you to all who helped me that day.

Best broken car experience I have ever had! As a AAA Member they towed my smoking car to their repair place. They determined what was definitely wrong and discussed it with me as it was an older car and I was not sure what I wanted to do. Once I made a decision to have it fixed the car was ready a day early and because I am a member it was much cheaper than originally quoted. Overall I would highly recommend this place for integrity and for speed of service.Service: Engine repair

As a AAA member they provided a courtesy auto evaluation. The price beat the dealership by more than 50%. This due by eliminating unecessary repairs advised by the dealership and discounted cost. They did the work in a timely fashion and provided parts replaced for my keeping if desired. Great guarantee on the work done as well. 24,000 miles or 2 years. The staff is professional, courteous and kept you informed. Gold Star all the way.

My engine light came on the morning I was supposed to take a 700+ mile roundtrip to northern PA. Brought my car in for a diagnostic and hoped I'd be able to make my trip and bring it back later. Not only did they determine the problem, but they had it fixed and back on the road in an hour and a half. I had amazing customer service and extremely grateful! 100% recommend and plan to take my car here for future service needs.

Extremely disappointed in their service! I made an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation at 10:45. I asked how long it would take and I was informed 90 minutes. I then questioned why it would take so long and was informed they do a thorough once over of the vehicle to make sure everything is in good condition. My vehicle has 7,000 miles (which I told them when I made the appointment) so I wondered what could really take so long. I decided not to wait and would walk the 15-20 minutes back to my house.I received a call at 11 in which they stated since it was a new vehicle (duh,I gave that info already) it wouldn't take as long. They said they were only going to change the oil because it was too soon for a tire rotation. I thought that was odd so I checked the manufacturer's recommended maintenance schedule and found it calls for tires to be rotated every 5,000 miles. I called them back and requested they rotate the tires. By 12:30 I still hadn't heard anything but I had a ride so I decided to go over thinking they had to be done soon.When I got there my vehicle was in the same spot I parked it in. I went inside and found out they had done NOTHING yet. When I asked why I was told that walk-ins and towed vehicles could have been ahead of me. So if this is the case, why take appointments? The whole purpose of an appointment is to NOT wait. I also questioned about them stating I did not need my tires rotated when in fact I did. The response I received was "well, I was wrong."I wish I would have just gone to jiffy lube as normal but I thought I'd give this place a try since it's close and I am a AAA member. Seems like they rushed through once I started asking questions and didn't even vaccuum! NEVER AGAIN!!

Worst customer service ever. I normally go to another location in Glen Burnie, MD. I made an appointment for Friday at 7am. No service person was to the service desk until 8 am. They had my car for 3 days, the check engine light came on the next day. The paid $1800, and was given back my car, it was not working properly. They should ensure the car was fixed. Joe the Manager is rude, unprofessional and sarcastic. No customer service experience. I have been a AAA member for over 5 years and has never been treated this way. I will never take my car to this location. The Glen Burnie location is much better. BEWARE of this location. They want your money only!

I attempted to have a routine oil change done. I stopped in and was informed that they were booked for the day but to go online and schedule an appointment so that I could wait for the vehicle. I scheduled an appointment for a few days later. When I dropped the car off they told me it would be several hours before the oil change would be done. People who came in without an appointment were given the same completion time. What is the point of scheduling an appointment? The staff is pleasant but I would not return to the Laurel location.

If I could leave negative stars I would!!!!I was traveling from North Carolina to Pennsylvania my car broke down in the middle of the night. I had it towed to the Laurel Maryland service center because I'm a plus member. The only good thing I have to say about this shop is the fact that they had my alternator changed and Battery changed and I was out the door and back on the road by 9:30 in the morning. I did not even get 80 miles down the road and my car's battery light came on again so I called the service center spoke with the manager Joe and he started telling me I had to turn around and come back I said I couldn't do that I was already late for where I needed to be he said I needed to go some other town and I said I already passed that 30 miles back and then he just ignored me. I finally get to York PA and I have to have my truck towed to a garage that was an authorized representative of AAA. What they found was the alternator that the Laurel Maryland shop put on my truck was bad. What it comes down to is I had to pay again to have a new alternator put on and had to pay for labor because Joe refused to pay the new shop or give me my money back now almost 4 months later I still haven't got my money back. The two times I spoke with Joe since then he's been nothing but rude. I offered to bring the alternator back to him on my way back home to North Carolina and he said he couldn't do that because he didn't know if I tampered with it. I even went so far as to contact AAA and put in a complaint about him his customer service skills and how I was treated. The gentleman I was working with there was nice and investigating everything but the minute Joe found out that I had put a complaint in he called me and promised me that if I returned the alternator that I would get my money back and he would even go so far as to send me a shipping label so I would not have to pay anymore. well a month later I still haven't received te shipping label and now he won't return my calls.

So far it s been a week, I put my my car in for a bulb, a hose, and an oil change. I ve been quoted 3 different prices in the past 48 hours because of work they did but conveniently didn t inform me of. My car is still with them today! I will keep u guys posted on how they handle this.Ok just got off the phone with the manager. He fixed the miscommunication and everything is good to go so far. No word on the work yet, but customer satisfaction and communication is strong here

Went in for an international driving permit. Service was simple and quick. Came in close to closing time but they still provided their service with a smile. For anyone who are looking for a international driving permit get it here! They also give a discount when getting a car insurance quote while paper work is in process.

Absolutely horrible service. Called AAA to tow my car to the Jeep dealership originally, AAA customer service up sold us to just take the car to one of THEIR auto shops. Be careful because if something goes wrong they will claim to have no affiliation with their service and will say they can not help with anything to do with the auto shop. So do not make a decision based off the affiliation with AAA roadside assistance, they claim to have nothing to do with the shop if something goes wrong. Moving along, the auto shop changed the quote by $400 after the work was started...I don't know if the issue was the mechanic or Elena the front desk employee. They said they "forgot" to include some of the labor... Very unprofessional. Then proceeded to try to upsell me. Recommended over $1200 of work that half of the work recommended was not necessary AT ALL. To top it off... they didn't even do the work completely so I brought it back after work 20 mins before they close so they can see what needs to be fixed ..Corinna the assistant manager said noone was available after dismissing the mechanic in front of me after he asked if there was anything else to do. Proceeded to then tell me I would have to leave the car... I would not have scheduled to pick it up if it wasn't ready. The inconvenience this has caused to a small business owner of a successful company is ridiculous. Come to find out they clearly didn't test drive the car AFTER it was fixed and drivable to ensure the problem was completely solved. After dropping it off, called me within an hour and told me a WHOLE bunch of issues that was not on the recommended list and would be ANOTHER $2000 extra atleast. The car will be right back to having the same issue due to them not completely fixing the cars issue that relates directly with the front end and what they have TEMPORARILY fixed. I even mentioned some of the issues listed that had to do with the control arm when I first originally dropped off the car and they proceed to act like I didn't know what I was talking about. Unfortunately that was a CONCERNED issue on the final look through that I had to request after dropping the car off the second time. Talked to the manager and he was very inconsiderate, rude and condescending instead of apologizing that they did not test drive the car AFTER the work was complete and drivable. All he kept referring to was how the car was not drivable when I originally dropped it off. No sense of accountability. Then proceeded to say "well we gave you $200 off"...very unprofessional as all AAA clients get 10% off. Ofcourse it wasn't drivable originally... AAA would not have towed it there if it was. Overall the amount of inexperience from the "forgetting to add labor to the quote", unprofessionalism from the inconsistent phone calls and rude management, and the over all horrible customer service from the shop to the AAA customer service reps who will unclaim the auto shop in a second, are just some of the reasons that this place should NEVER be TRUSTED with your vehicle.DO NOT VISIT and be careful with putting your trust into shops just because of a long term relationship you have had with AAA roadside assistance. Speaking from personal experience...it will not go well. All you'll take away from it is shock from a manager saying you should have taken it to another shop. Will be call AAA corporate.Stay safe this summer and hope you all have a great 2021!
