Let me say first off I'm a particular customer. This location has undergone recent management and staffing overhaul and these guys came to sell some cars! Our sales guy was Levi and this guy is a rare breed of hard working young man. He has a great story, and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Finance and management as well, as they had to deal with my grumpy self twice! I bought my wife a Mercedes SUV from Levi and then a week later came back to buy a BMW for myself. Good job fellas, got yourself a lifetime customer!

We found the Chevy Silverado we wanted online and scheduled a test drive. Mr. Taylor was friendly and professional in helping us purchase the vehicle as well as the rest of the staff we worked with - the manager Mr. Fishel and Ms. Lowe with finance. They were busy but did get us taken care of in a reasonable amount of time. 5 stars for them!There are some critiques I have but is nothing to do with the staff, and are more-so the dealership. They said the truck would come with a full tank of gas, but upon leaving and getting down the road we realized it was only 1/4 of a tank full (for a $120 we d had to spend filling today it was a bit disappointing but we live an hour away so not worth going back to rectify). They also force you to pay $140 for nitrogen filled tires which comes with every vehicle off the lot and to put it simply, that isn t needed in our area but there was no option to exclude it. Finally we were told by another rep at the dealership when we called and confirmed the test drive that there was a President s Day sale we could discuss in person when I d asked about the pricing however they did not budge one bit on the pricing.We still purchased the vehicle, because it was exactly what we were looking for but I do wish the few things mentioned were not a factor within our purchase. They do however have our address if they want to send a check to address the issues mentioned and we d change it to a 5 star rating at that point. Otherwise, it is what it is and still had a good overall experience.

Sales was very kind greeted us at the door with a smile and showed us to the f250 I had asked about. John helped answer any questions I had about the vehicle and other vehicles that might have fit what I was looking for. The truck I did purchase had a messed up bumper that was about to have it replaced. The dealer was willing to work with me and I was able to take the truck for the weekend and bring it back on Tuesday to have the bumper replaced. The truck was read by noon the next day and I picked it up. I want to thank everyone at waldorf s ford of La Plata for being kind and willing to just work with me to get me in a new to me truck. I would recommend if looking for a vehicle, check out this dealer I am sure they will be able to help. I have had the truck for a week now and still happy with my choice. Horrible experience I thought I would try La Plata Waldorf Ford because of a promotion I received in the mail. I usually for the past few years have shop at a smaller car dealership that was friendly customer oriented and kept great contact and had great relationships with the banks which made the transaction very easy. I started this process three days ago by calling in being very transparent about what I was looking for, what I wasn t looking for my current situation. The first day, the sales person Colin Johnson was very friendly and nice, which made me decide to give this dealership a Chance. After the first day, it wasn t much information so I said I wait for the second day to come around. I didn t hear anything so I had to call in to contact him, I was almost rushed off the phone and he said he would get back to me later on. At this point, I m not gonna lie. I was a little frustrated although I didn t show it because I ve never had to deal. More than one day I With purchasing a vehicle I usually give everything I needed, and I get The car that I came for and leave. The next time I heard from him was about going on seven that evening by text stating there was a deal from his supervisor he ll give me A call back that call never came. Third day I wait for the afternoon no call from him so I call again. At this point this doesn t sound like the same nice person I spoke to day one, so at this point, I knew it must not be a deal like he claimed from the day before. He was very rude and nasty. Which I was baffled about because I was very transparent with him from day one and even told me I NEED TO SHUT UP. I was so bad I had to step out of the place where I was eating it to actually make sure I heard him correctly. This was my reason for always using smaller car dealerships, because you re actually treated like a person and not just a deal. For who anyone who does visit here and had a great experience. I sure wish I would ve gotten your sales person, but do not go to Colin Johnson because if you don t get a sale, you will get an attitude. I did call and speak to a higher up manager, but I m pretty sure nothing will be done, but I did want to leave a review for future people that want to purchase a vehicle go to any sales person but that one. People sometimes need to humble themselves a little bit and not talk reckless to customers. A lot of respect goes along way. Good luck to all the car shop

John, Deonta, DJ, and Amy is the best staff that gave us the greatest experience anyone could ever ask for at a car dealership they made us feel welcomed like a family at home. I had the best experience ever. I had a bad experience with a previous dealership that basically told me to leave because they did not have anything for me. I found this dealership online and once I called Tony answered the phone and his vibe and energy was amazing such a great person and just with that I was convinced that I should make the trip from VA to MD. We was welcomed with open arms John and Amy everyone were so welcoming and great with us. They helped us get into our amazing vehicle and I have nothing but great things to say about them and the dealership. I most definitely recommend them. Such good people. God continue to bless them.

Great group of people. Did all the logistics over the phone and online after finding the pre owned truck I wanted on Saturday July 2nd.Made the 2.5 hour drive down Monday morning the 4th to pick up the truck. Easiest buying experience to date. Loved the DocuPad for signing everything! If I wasn t an hour early it probably would have only been about 45 minutes in and out. The shortest car buying experience ever! Definitely recommend this dealer!

I had an amazing experience working alongside the team at this dealership. Tony was extremely patient and diligent to ensure I was 100% comfortable with the automobile I was purchasing as well as satisfaction with my trade-in value. Tony along with Amy and John went above and beyond throughout the trade and purchase experience. Amy made sure I was knowledgeable of all aspects of the financing process while ensuring I got a good rate.

They were great about selling the car beware of extended warranty. It s been 3 weeks of dealing with the service department, 3 weeks to repair a car is not acceptable. No loaner offered, 7 days to get a part still waiting. I will never purchase another vehicle from this company. The absolute worst customer service.

We shopped around to many dealers throughout Maryland. We are so thankful and happy we found LaPlata Ford. We knew exactly what we wanted and the price we needed to be at. Other dealers said it couldn t be done. In fact we had other dealers keep us for over 6 hours only to tell us after waiting that long, that they couldn t get it done. But when we were at LaPlata Ford, Henry Greene , our salesman, brought over his General Manager, James, and he confidently said we will get this deal done TODAY! Within 1 hour our deal was done and we drove away in our new Ford F150! Also, Amy Lowe who is the Finance Manager, was incredibly helpful and passionate about helping us. Everyone there treated us like we were family! The team at LaPlata Ford is the place you need to visit when shopping for a vehicle!

Ford of La Plata helped me soo much! They are wonderful, my salesman Tom along with John and Amy ensured I got my car! They even stayed overtime for me! I really appreciate them and I finally got a car that I love! They won t push you into a car that you don t want they will ensure that you get a vehicle that you love! They also work with your price range!
