The headlights on my car are really difficult to change, and it s been a challenge over the years to find a place that will do them. Several places just tell me I should take it to the dealer. But today, Brandon and Warren at Valvoline in La Plata were patient and diligent in getting it done for me. It took much longer than most headlight changes I m sure, but no complaints were made. They just got it done and were super polite and customer friendly.

One of my friends went to the La plata valvoline on 3/08. They went for an oil change and were told they needed their air filters replaced and were shown a black air filter??? They said yes(unfortunately ) and were charged over $100 for both filters. They're not car smart (which is fine ) but it's so scummy/scammy/predatory to charge someone that much for an air filter part???Go to a regular mechanic that's honest and won't grossly overcharge for partsAvoid going here.

Went here for an oil change, NEVER AGAIN! Had to take my car back because it was leaking oil profusely! And it still leaked oil after that! They also did not honor my coupon nor did they top off any of my fluids! Or they purposely emptied my windshield wiper fluid (my car read low windshield wiper fluid after service).TRASH!

EXCELLENT SERVICE!!!!No wait time, pulled up and was waved into an open bay.Fast, friendly, courteous, and professional serviceBryon explained everything, suggested additional services that my car needed but was not pushy. Timothy and Alexander were the technicians doing the service they were fast, professional and friendly.It was refreshing to go to such a well run business with a friendly knowledgeable staff.I will be back when my next service is due.Service: Oil change

I came to this location immediately after having a negative experience with a Mr. Tire oil change appointment. Valvoline was able to service my vehicle immediately. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I appreciated that they respected my time. They have an attention to detail specifically for your vehicle while also refraining from upselling any of their services. I was behind schedule due to the issues with Mr. Tire prior to my arrival at Valvoline. However, I requested a hard copy of the recommended services from the manufacturer as well as Valvoline. I will be returning to Valvoline to have my vehicle serviced for the recommended protocols due to my positive experience with the oil change. Thank you Valvoline staff for doing a great job.Service: Oil change

Fast and friendly sefvice. In and out without a hassle. We take our fleet vehicles here for swrvice as well and have never had an issue. The shop is clean and super speedy! Bravo ladies ans gents.

No waiting. Drove right into the bay. Was greeted with a smile, "good morning" and asked if I was there for an oil change. Service was quick, however their attention to detail was excellent. I would not recommend this location or the technician that I had. I went for an oil change (that normally my brother does) and while receiving the service I noticed the technician pulling something very hard under the roof. It jerked the whole car and I became concerned because that has NEVER happened while receiving an oil change before. I asked was everything okay, he stated yes and that he was almost done. I thought that was very strange. Not even a whole month later, my truck is having issues now. I did not have any issues prior to this service! My truck is now showing codes P0011 camshaft position solenoid issues which could need an engine oil flush and change. Meaning it could not have been done properly!Service: Oil change

I felt pressured to get the transmission serviced. When a customer says they are not interested, it should be the end. I just wanted an oil change. After I said no, the tech became less than friendly and pretty much stopped talking to me. Otherwise, I love the concept and the quickness of getting this done. I ll keep going there as I hope this was just a fluke.Service: Oil change

Update: Still the fastest oil change around. I had 15 minutes before work this morning and was really overdue and they got it done!What amazing service. I was explained every option and the pricing for each. The guys were really helpful and super nice, plus a contactless oil change was really great during this pandemic! It may be a little pricier than my normal oil change somewhere else, but it was worth it for such great service and the convenience. Thanks!!!

I just recently used this location for an oil change and a few other services. They were friendly, knowledgeable, fast! Great service all around. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

This was my 1st time using Valvoline. I had a coupon and thought I'd give them a try. I just loved how you stay in your car and the big screen beside your car door tells you everything about your vehicle. The service was exceptional. The guys were great. I definitely will be going back. The "Suggested" what your car needed, but never pressured you to get the work done.Services: Transmission, Oil change

I have been to this valvoline a few times and never experienced an issue until today. I went to get an oil change and Davon put in the most expensive one. I told him I didn't think that was the one I typically get and asked what the system said I normally get. He said he didn't know what I normally got because wasn't showing up, which was weird to me. He continued to fill out the form and ignored me. Luckily, another person came up to do the pul change and I asked her to check. She said I normally get the basic and wasn't sure why Davon said it wasn't showing up.So not out did he ignore my concerns but he straight up lied. I would recommend if you go here, ask for a differ person to work on your car because Davon is very disrespectful and untrustworthy. He suggested I get a new air filter too but at that point, I was not interested in anything else he had to offer.Again, I have been here before and always got great customer service from everyone else but this was ridiculous.Service: Oil change

I love this place. Fast, reliable, friendly. Venus (the person who helped me) was great today, the process is easy and I haven't gone anywhere else since several years ago when I was told about Valvoline and how quick it was! No more sitting at the Toyota dealership hours even with an appointment. Vastly preferable to put it mildly, thanks for the always speedy and painless experience.

Good service and pretty quick, although they were short-staffed and only had 3 of 4 bays open. Didn't offer a service that another Valvoline place had on my previous visit. Oh... they were out of mileage reminders, so I have to guess when my next change should be

Was a little disappointed this visit. I have been here before and received exceptional service. Technicians weren't friendly and services previously offered aren't available now (fluid changes, serpentine belt). Website says they are available so not sure if they aren't available or just don't have qualified techs.

After going to Walmart and seeing the huge line, I turned around and came here. Glad I did! They are quick, professional and nice. It did not feel like I was being pressured to buy more and it felt great not to get out of my car. I came the next day to get an oil change for my husbands car and they were just as great. Very consistent. I will be returning to them again :)

Quick and friendly service everytime I have gone to visit. I've taken everything from my Jeep, Mustang and Kia and never had an issue. They also do AC refills and windshield wipers. Best part is you can stay in the vehicle playing on your phone while you wait instead of getting out in those uncomfortable waiting rooms haha.

I was using the Waldorf location for my 2 vehicles but after noticing missing screws and bolts ,they wouldnt put everything back ,i decided to try the Laplata location.Big mistake ,i just had my oil change and was asked who did the last oil change and was told it looked like they used an air impact on the oil drain plug and my engine cover below the engine wasnt reinstalled right .What makes it even worse i told the guy there to ensure everything goes back correctly.I will never use these places again ,and would suggest they get additional training .Service: Oil change

I love being able to run errands during my lunch break. I sat in my car and ate my lunch while they changed my oil and rotated my tires. Then i returned to work feeling accomplished. The service people were courteous and professional. This is way better than dropping my car off somewhere for half a day and trying to coordinate how to get around.

Stopped in a few minutes ago to get an oil change. Very courteous staff and they had me in and out in about 10-15 mins. The manager (Alison) was awesome. She struck up a conversation and was very helpful throughout the service. I will certainly be back for another change when the time comes. I may even try to get Alison's number next time as she is gorgeous and seems to be interested in the same things I am.

I know I probably got a little lucky because when I arrived I was the only one here, but every single employee helped with my car. I felt listened to and not pressured into services I additionally needed. I enjoy the service here. They provide efficient and quick service. The prices are about the same as any other oil change place. What sets them apart is their customer service. I have been to two different locations, and at each one, everyone there was very courteous. I will be returning for all my oil changes.
