If you are ever in the area, I d highly recommend this place! I got a sudden flat while driving and went to Mr. Tire. They were closing in less than an hour but I was received by Jimbo who immediately took me in and was extremely accommodating. James checked all my tires, fixed them and got me out of there in less than an hour. Also, the charges for the service was very fairly priced. Can t recommend this place enough!

Did fine on the tires. Did have to go back to get a stem valve fixed within a month, but they fixed it for free. They also resurfaced the rear drums for the brakes which caused immense stuttering when braking. I ended up fixing a few other parts that weren't actually broken based on the assumption these guys did the job right, just to find out the ground in a high/low spot in the drum surface. Ended up fixing it myself in 1/2 the time and 1/4 the price. 2 stars because they did ok on the tires and were genuinely nice people, but not sure I'd go back.

Awesome thorough professional service. Had all my brake lines replaced and they did an excellent job. Nothing else matters with your vehicle but it starting, going and stopping when you want it to.

My family was on our way home to New Jersey from South Carolina and caught a flat tire. We saw Mr. Tire and pulled in. Even though they were closed and had already sent the mechanic home, the owner and his son came out and fixed our flat tire!! We are back on our way home and forever grateful!!!

My elderly parents needed tires on their 2017 Ford Escape. Jeff gave them a fair price on good tires and I know that my parents are safe. The work was done on time and at the price discussed. They even informed us that a headlight was out and replaced it. I highly recommend Mr. Tire La Plata.

I wouldn t recommend going to this location. They have horrible customer service. The wait time is always over 2 hrs just for something as simple as an oil change. I would suggest hiring more staff/ techs. Two guys at the front counter are always short answer and rude. They should try helping out more rather than stand at the front

Scheduled an appointment for an oil change and complimentary tire rotation for 10am. Arrived on time for my vehicle to be serviced. I was notified that my tire rotation would incur an additional charge because I had aftermarket wheels/tires. I was skeptical because there was no Asterix, indication or fine print on the website regarding the complimentary tire rotation and additional fees regardless of wheel/tire size. Typically, a shop will either perform the rotation or flatly refuse to service after market products. By 11am my vehicle had still not been serviced. I requested my keys and went down the street to Valvoline who accomplished the tasks within 20 minutes. I understand that a business can get busy, overbooked, understaffed or a combination of these variables. However, please do not provide an option for a specific time appointed if you cannot meet that expectation or at least come within an hour of it? Also, you may want to indicate any additional fees, as noted above, regarding tire rotation.

My car was finished very quickly. In person the gentleman explained to me about getting my tire patched, cost and expectation with time.. It was actually finished within an hr!! On the phone the gentleman explained both the service id recieved and something else beneficial as well as cost (getting my tires rotated and balanced).Great service and great recommendations

This is where I go to purchase tires, inspections and free alignment testing. They take walk-ins and open 7 days a week! They will make sure your vehicle is back on the road safe with the purchase of your new tires! Plus it includes free balance and tire rotations. Look how much money you will save!

My to go place as soon as my car is out of warranty, I need new tires (or fix one) or just a quick oil change + tire rotation alignment and balancing. Better and quicker than most dealership work. Very friendly and competent staff, reasonable pricing. Once, they even drove me home as the repair was taking to long to complete!Note: Scott retired but Jim is still there ready to help as always!

I had a great experience at Mr. Tire! Jeff was my tech. I was contacted in a timely manner, they didn t have my original tire but Jeff gave me options in my tire selection (with price comparison). I was called and left a voicemail that my car was ready for pickup. It really is just the simple things sometimes - great quality service! Needless to say I ll be back to purchase more tires when needed.

We needed tires quickly, as we were going out of town and Mr. Tire in La Plata, MD took care of us. The service was top notch! The two Service Managers that worked with me were friendly and professional.

Awesome friendly service for a fair and competitive price! The guys at the La Plata location (Eric & Scott) have been servicing all three of our cars for the past two years. They have always done a fantastic job and we have never had any issues with the work they performed.

Failed vehicle inspection could have been discussed prior to having to pay the full 100 plus dollars. I would have paid for the repairs and the inspection instead of waiting over 2 hrs for a failed inspection.

I recently purchased a vehicle in VA and needed the MD car inspection. This is new to me as I am from GA and haven't purchased a vehicle here. I called Mr. Tire, spoke with Seth and he got my vehicle in the same day. I had been at work that day since very early morning and planned to leave early. Not only did they get my vehicle in quickly but they had my vehicle ready well before time for me to leave work. Since I am unfamiliar with the inspection process and obviously had questions they went one step further. They scanned and emailed the inspection results to make it easier for me to send to our dealership.I highly recommend Mr Tire, extremely courteous and professional as well as prompt service.

Scott and his team are fabulous! I have been going here for years and are the most reliable team in Charles County in my opinion. There is no one that I trust more to work on my cars. They show that they care and try to fit you in when emergencies happen. Truly commendable. Thank you for everything throughout the years! See you soon!

ON Saturday, one hour before closing, I had a leaking tire and had to take my wife to hospital in two hours. Mr Tire fixed the flat in no time and sent me safely on my way. THANK YOU MR TIRE FOR HELPING ME IN MY EMERGENCY, AT NO CHARGE.Stephen Zdradzinski

Had my daughters car taken in to have tires replaced, and ended up with new rear brakes, a break flush and new valve stems on all 4 tires!! GREAT!! Just what I needed literally, see the car is used and needed the work done anyway. They could have just installed my tires and stems and sent me on my way. Instead they got it all done as promised by Zena at the front desk . She made sure that not only were the tires done but all else as well, and offered her time to stay after closing to ensure that I was able get my vehicle and not have to wait until the next day. (Commitment much) Drives great thanks to Zena and all the techs behind the scenes!! :)

Absolutely the best tire shop in southern Maryland. Scott and his team are fantastic, professional, reliable and they have the best prices on tires and they stand behind their work. My wife and I have been going to them for 20 years. Stopped by today for a tire running low pressure and the team took care of it for no charge, absolutely the BEST.

Today I walked in to the MR. Tire in La Plata assuming I had an appointment but somehow that was not the case. My experience was not dampened though. The friendly staff was very accommodating and was able to get me in pretty much right away. The suggested wait time was spot on and I really appreciated it. I was able to wait for my vehicle. I also enjoyed the fact that the technician came to lobby and informed about what was going on with my vehicle. All around good experience and I already know I'll be back.

Horrible service, went in at 2:40 for a 3pm appointment for a simple state inspection. Arrived at 5:30 and was told they didn t get to it. That they would probably get to it in the morning. I wouldn t even be this mad if they were actually busy this day, but after being treated like that I will never bring any of my vehicles here again. Zero stars.
