One of my headlights on my Subaru crosstrek went out and I first called Meineke in La Plata to see what the cost was to replace. I had already purchased the lights from Autozone- the guy had no clue how to change them and said I would need tools to pop the headlight off. The gentleman who answered the phone at Meineke took the make and model of my vehicle and told me it would cost $40-50 per light! I called A-list automotive and the gentleman there said he needed to see the vehicle in order to give me a quote. I almost went to Meineke thinking he was giving me the run around but thank God I didn t. I went over and they greeted me right away, came out to look at my vehicle and said, That s easy . The young man pulled my vehicle in and immediately began working on it. The other mechanics provided him with assistance if needed and they were all so pleasant and nothing but good vibes and laughs. At the end of it all I paid much less than what they quoted at Meineke! That was well worth the short drive- I got laughs and found a new mechanic- a good mechanic!

Friday afternoon traveling from Maine to South Carolina. Waze took us down Rt. 301 through Maryland to avoid DC traffic. Going through LaPlata, MD started having brake issues. Stopped at Wawa. Brakes smoking. Next door was A-List Automotive. One of their mechanics came over and told me to bring into their garage, where they diagnosed bad calipers. They couldn't fix till Monday or Tuesday. Rented car & continued to SC. TJ called Monday with reasonable estimate. Gave them ok to fix. TJ called back Monday PM that truck was repaired. Drove back Tuesday AM and continued back to Maine, no problems. I can't say enough about TJ and the people that work there. Accommodating, personable, and reasonable. I give them 10 stars, and bought them lunch.

While in Maryland on vacation with my RV, I needed a transmission coolant line replaced. They were able to quickly schedule me in for the repair. I was worried that I wouldn t be able to get it repaired while I was here. Not only did they do a quick and efficient job, they only charged me a minimal fee. I highly recommend this business! I have been going here for about four years for all of my car maintenance needs. All of the staff are extremely nice and honest. They will work with you and half fair pricing. They will talk to you to help you understand The car repairs. I will definitely recommend the shop to everyone. They are fast and convenient however I wish they were open on weekends or longer hours of operation.

I was traveling through the area and Headed to Colorado the next day. I just replaced my battery and found out that I also needed an alternator.I showed up at this shop (A-List) with a new alternator in hand.Some shops won t install parts that the customer provides but they were happy to help out. I felt that It would be very difficult to find a shop especially on a Friday afternoon to help me out. Not only did they help me out but I was back on the road in one hour and had a safe trip West.Highly recommend this Shop.!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Took my mom to this location when she was here visiting. This location is close by my home. She did not want to go far. They were able to fix all her repairs in one Day! In addition, she loved the price they charged her.

I've been taking my car to A List for the past 11 years. Eric has always been professional, punctual and affordable. Not once have I felt taken advantage of or that they were fabricating issues in order to make more money. I came in thinking it would be a great place to have my Honda HRX 201-cc fixed and they have completely broken the brake lines and haven't given it the new tires that I have asked for. Definitely not coming again.

Dropped my car off on a Tuesday for diagnostics due to check engine light. Picked up on Wednesday and my car had an extra 100 miles on the odometer than when I dropped it off and was missing over half a tank of gas. When confronted about it, the shop denied any knowledge of how that could possibly happen.
