Phil, Blake, and Greg always take great care of my car and treat me like family. They are responsive and professional and their prices are fair. I wholeheartedly recommend Precise Auto a trusted neighborhood business. It is so much more authentic and honest than any dealership and they are personally accountable for their work.

Blake and the rest of the guys at Precise Auto saved my car!I went to get an oil change across the street at Valvoline. When I drove in, my car was operating fine; there were no leaks. I waited at the service bay for almost an hour for them to finish. During this time, they damaged something in the oil line and told me I couldn t drive my car off the lot! My car was apparently torrentially pour out oil. Obviously I was shocked.The manager on duty at Valvoline recommended this place. I spoke to Blake on the phone who advocated for me to 1) get a refund from Valvoline for the oil change 2) have them pay for a tow truck 3) make sure the repair was paid by Valvoline - and not out of my pocket.I ve never had that kind of service anywhere. I m very impressed!

Phil and Greg were very nice, helpful, and explained repair and gave recommendation for future services (I got an alignment and waited for it - less than an hour). It was so nice to be waited on in a small business, compared to a busy chain!

Wonderful, as usual. I went there mid afternoon because my car wouldn't start 3 times recently. They checked the battery and quickly ordered a new one, which arrived in less than an hour. They put it in and I was off, good as new! I wish I had realized that my car not starting was probably a battery problem. I will remember this in the future.

I am so impressed by and thankful for Precise Auto Service. I got a low tire pressure notification while driving around town. They were so kind to take my car in right away! They fixed what needed fixing and had me on my way within 15 minutes. I appreciate not only their expertise, but also their welcoming and friendly demeanors. I felt that I was in very good hands and would highly recommend them!

We are extremely happy with the personalized service, and attention to detail that we get every time we bring our vehicles to Precise Auto. We have been taking our fleet vehicles, as well as our personal vehicles to Precise Auto for a few years now, and we couldn't be happier with the services we've received. They have a very friendly and knowledegeable staff, from the front of the house (Blake and Greg) to the technicians behind the scenes, as well as the owner Phil. my mom has been getting her car serviced here for more than a decade. I finally took my vehicle here for an oil change and they were way faster than jiffy lube, like less than 30 minutes. they were also super kind and helpful with all my questions. if you're looking for a mechanic, look no further, try precise auto service.

I've been coming to Precise Auto for the last 9 or 10 years now and it's not an easy finding a professional, reasonably priced and honest bunch of mechanics but I have found that at Precise Auto. Phil and Blake make a great team for your automotive needs. I would definitely recommend them.

The last time I visited Precise, they did an excellent job of tuning up my car. At the same time, they listened carefully to all of the work and checks I wanted performed and also offered up some enjoyable conversation. Precise auto is a friendly neighborhood shop that puts customer service first. When a Ktown neighbor said, You have to go to Phil! I headed straight to Precise Auto. They 100% live up to their reputation! They re the most responsible and honest shop I ve ever worked with and are great at diagnosing problems, explaining needed repairs, and minimizing unnecessary costs.I drive a classic Miata, which makes parts hard to find. Blake doesn t give up! He s got the connections to find the parts that nobody else can find!I m so happy I ve found my forever mechanic!

Brought our Kia Soul for a MD Inspection. Right after we dropped it off, we got a call from Sheila giving us a list of items that had to be repaired - which is to be expected.One item she mentioned was the battery; she said our battery was old and needed to be replaced. I responded to her by saying that AAA just installed a brand new battery two months ago and that we had the receipt. She then put me on hold and replied, "oh I'm sorry, my mistake, it's just the connectors so it's all good, we will clean it for you." That was my first cause for suspicion. They were trying to scam us for buying a new battery - nice try.Later, she mentioned we needed the steering wheel fixed to pass inspection which we agreed to. They had the car for an entire week and, according to Sheila, they received a defective part for the repair and had to get another one, thus causing a delay.Eventually, after picking up the car, we noticed that the steering wheel was tilted to the left when the car was driving straight. We called Sheila right away. After they checked the car, they told us that we need to pay for alignment (Scam #2). We mentioned to her that AAA just installed four new tires two weeks ago and that they did the alignment for which we have the receipt. She passed me to a manager who was probably the rudest person (self entitled up the wazoo) I have spoken to in the last ten years. He yelled at me saying that it's not their problem and, although they had worked on the steering wheel, the problem had nothing to do with their work. After fighting with him over the phone for 15 minutes, he agreed to fix what they broke at the first place at no charge.We brought the car there again for the last time; they fixed it and although they didn't admit to trying to scam us twice, at least they didn't try to charge us for fixing what was supposed to have been fixed in the first place.Recommendation - stay away from them, there are other car repair places in the area that will scam you less

These guys are fantastic. We rolled in with a punctured tire and we were in a time crunch. They understood our urgency and said they would see if they can repair. 15 mins later, we were patched up and ready to go.They made time for us essentially they saved our afternoon.Thank you Precise Auto Service! This place was so helpful and kind! We had our tires rotated at a Jiffy Lube and then noticed a thumping noise as we started our road trip. We called Precise Auto since we were in the area and they were happy to take us immediately even though they were about to close for the evening. They noticed that Jiffy Lube did not secure our tires properly and one was about to come off. They fixed it without charge. Thank you so much! We would not have been able to make our road trip without you. Would recommend highly!

They changed motor and regulator my window on the driver side after taking three times because it was intermitted issues and then it never worked prefect two and a half years got the same issue window got stock they don't admit their mistake and they don't compensate for inconvenience that they cause

I've been getting my 3 vehicles serviced at Precise for over 10 years. Phil, the owner, is an outstanding gentleman. His staff's customer service is impeccable. The technicians are knowledgeable and always willing to provide advise. Their front office personal is very friendly and willing to assist especially with time sensitive repairs. PRECISE IS PRECISELY PERFECTIONIST & PROFESSIONAL. A JEWEL OF KENSINGTON!!!

I want to start by saying l, I'd rather be here than at my dealership. I personally spoke with Blake and he kept me abreast of everything going on with the car. I've had many bad experiences when it comes to repairs. He was up front and honest about what could wait and my repairs were done in a timely fashion. I needed my car back as soon as possible and they even test drive to assure safety. I appreciate you guys so much!! I will continue being a lifelong customer! Never seen a business owner replied customer like this below, unprofessional and uneducated. I simply just revealed the truth about how you delay the information sharing which cost your customer wait way longer, A $20 plus cost for a filter, it seems pretty higher than normal in 2021.Groupon Issue: (1) Does not accept the Groupon that was redeemed before. (2) Expiry date, The GROUP DOES SAY THERE ARE CERTAIN DAYS YOU NEED TO USE IT, BUT DOES NOT SAY AFTER VENDOR REDEEM IT, THE EXPIRY DATE STILL APPLY. You have your common sense to determine it, however Customer has their common sense also. Stop using it as an excuse. Stop being Na�ve. (3)The Cost of your business going up is not customer's business. We bought the service and follow Groupon Rule to use them. As when you advertise and sell your business on Groupon, you should consider about the price going up as well especially when you sell bundle service which the service will take longer to complete. It seems like you are using good price to compete with other local stores but at the end, you don't fulfill your service, which we call fraud business. (4) Looks like all the reply you did to the Groupon customer is Rude, Arrogant, and Temper Lost. At the end, you are going to be hurt, not customer. (5) Fun thing to share with other reviewers, if you made an appointment with their store, it would take you almost a month. And now, it only takes 3 days. It means customers go away. Like I said how hurt at the end....Missing Part - 2021 I have done my oil change a couple of time with them. My experience with their service is getting worse and worse. Last time, I waited 2 more hours to get my oil change done because they are short a part. It was the second it happened. The last appointment as I made with us, I told them to check their stock but apparently they don't. Plus guys, go check how the owner replies, so funny...Service: Oil change

I love Precise Auto! They have been doing my oil changes for years. Today, I had a larger problem after having to jumpstart my 2008 Nissan following a long vacation. The roadside assistance service said I needed a new battery after the 3 rd jump in a week. I called Phil (owner) at Precise to see if they could install a new battery asap, he said sure. I took the car up, Phil takes a look and drives it and tells me I do not need a new battery, it just needed a better charge, so he charged it up. His honesty saved me $169, an hour of time, and confirmed all my prior thoughts about how great Phil and his friendly mechanics are. This shop is a neighborhood gem, do not hesitate if you are thinking about using them, they are awesome. Thank you SO much Phil and Precise Auto service!

Great price for an oil change. I didn't read the fine print on the Groupon I had which cost me an extra $8-10. Even with the added price it's still a good deal for an oil change as car dealerships charge $70. My biggest complaint is that their waiting room does not have adequate A/C last July. Absolutely outstanding service. I have been burned so many times with mechanics just based on the desk service it was such a relief and joy to come across Presicion. Blake was so courteous on the phone and when I came in. He listened to my concerns about my car and was able to get the diagnostic quickly and explain clearly what my car needed while taking into account concerns I had over cost. I will for sure be using them again and frequently. So refreshing during stressful times in this world. Thank you!! Precise and Phil were recommended highly by a family member. I was visiting from out of state about to make the drive back to Long Island when the transmission went on my car. We contacted Phil and he helped having car towed from DC to Maryland. Turned out the vehicle was still under warranty and had to go to dealership to be have the work done. I know I would have felt confident had Phil did the work and greatly appreciate the help he did give us

They don t accept Groupons anymore even though I had a 3 service bundle. They refused to honor or refund me and bounced me back to Groupon even though they received payment for a service they didn t perform. Blake was dismissive and not at all as described in these reviews. They forfeited our agreement and had no remorse or accountability at all he said was I m sorry you feel that way. Not I m sorry our policy has changed, and we failed to notify you just dismissed. Avoid at all costs if you can.Update to address the phony response from owner. Never once in our exchange did you mention the increase of products or the reason why the Groupons weren t accepted. You informed me only after my appointment request not when you decided to stop accepting them. Groupons expire but mine wasn t. You claimed that the service my Groupon was for was no longer offer yet that s what you booked me for. The service you want to offer me costs more than the entire Groupon. My bundle deal was already redeemed for 1 so you certainly received some sort of payment. The rightful thing to do would ve been to contact those that still had active vouchers to let us decide what we wanted to do. Again your explanation here is not the same one I received in our exchange. You want me to understand the cost of products going up but not understanding that I want what I paid for at the rate I paid for it. Your customer service needs major work. If you lack integrity in this area I would like to people to know what they are getting themselves into.Service: Oil change
