The most responsible and honest shop our family worked with in 40 years (and 10+ cars) in the Chevy Chase/Kensington /Wheaton area. They are remarkably good at diagnosing problems, and more importantly, at minimizing unnecessary costs when diagnoses were uncertain.

I can t say enough about Eddie and his crew. I ve had a lot of bad experiences in the past with overly expensive, dishonest mechanics. E&D is as honest as they get! They never try to sell you something you don t need. Their estimates don t magically increase when the work is done. Always very fast response and quality work at very reasonable prices. If you need a friendly, honest, reliable mechanic.. look no further. Highly Recommended! I've had Eddie work on my 2006 Mazda 3 Hatchback since I've returned to the area 2 years ago. I needed a go-to honest mechanic that I could trust. I needed brakes all-around last summer, and his shop did the work. He got the work done fast and right. I returned today to have them checked out, and make sure all is well. I needed a few other things looked at too. The shop had my car ready in a few hours. They inspected a few issues, checked it out, and even did some maintenance to the brakes. The price is definitely reasonable and right, the service is friendly, and I feel confident in their work. I'd recommend them to anyone.

I can t speak highly enough about this place. I ve been coming to Eddie s since I was 17. Just shy of 20 years. The loyalty is real because they are honest and do quality work. As an auto repair skeptic (who, when younger, did all my own repairs) it has taken me many years to find a repair shop I really trust.But these guys fit the bill. I've come to really trust their honesty and competence for all but my most minor auto repairs.

Great and fast. Every single time I have come here over the past 5 years they have diagnosed and fixed my car in no more than a day. Last year I moved to Baltimore but I still bring my car all the way here because of the fast reliable service. Definitely recommend this place!

I came here for an out of state inspection on a 9 year old vehicle I brought from California. They were awesome. I was in and out in less than two hours, and the price was same as their quote (nothing more). I waited over at DonutKing less than a minute walk away, where they have wifi, and a large breakfast/lunch selection. E&D was very professional, and it was apparent they care about their customers and their vehicles. It is such a relief to find such a great honest mechanic. My car has just shy of 100,000 miles on it, so I'll definitely be back for maintenance.

First, I would like to start off by thanking all the staff at E&D Auto. This is one of the most professional shops I have ever done business with. From the moment I called to the moment I was handed my keys back was such a great experience. I initially went in because I was told by another shop that my cars differential was leaking. I came to these guys for a second opinion. They gladly took me in and reviewed the differential. I get a call back in a timely manner to find out that my differential was fine. Instead of selling me fake work I thought my car required they were honest about the work. In the car repair world, honesty is hard to find. They recommended my brakes to be done. With no hesitation, I approved a brake job done with them and an oil change. They updated me the whole time. I have driven my car for a month now with no issues with the brakes. I have never been so pleased with another shop. I HIGHLY recommend this auto care shop to anyone. These guys are honest, quick, and professional. Huge shoutout to Daniel, Kallie, and the owners for an amazing experience!

I don't easily do reviews before observing for a while.I have been servicing my cars and sending family , friends and loved ones to E & D Auto Care Center for the past years . I honestly want to thank E & D for their excellent and professional services with the highest integrity that I had not experienced from previous mechanics or auto care centers before I had the pleasure to meet the dedicated specialists at their location in Kensington MD. Thank God there is a auto care center like this One. I am grateful for all your above and beyond services through all these years.In addition to your excellence in your field of expertise, I sincerely appreciate the warm welcome, care, interesting dialogues you have generously cherished with myself , my wife, and all those I have sent to you for their auto care needs. These guys are great. The only reason I haven't been there in a year is I have a new car under warranty. They've always been prompt and friendly. They stand behind their work. Once, when a repair didn't fix the problem, they fixed it for free, and didn't even charge me for parts.

Great place! Eddy, Joel and Jose are amazing! I been a costumer for a while now and this is the only place I take my cars when I need some repairs or just an oil change.I promise once you give it a try, you won't want to find another shop!

I have been using their services since 2005 including my parents and few of their friends. None of us had any problems since. They are honest, no bull, no hidden fees, nor nickel and diming.

Honest mechanic with great prices and customer service. Hard to find these days. Did quick work on my truck. This is the place to go for vehicle repairs!
