A year ago, I decided to try this auto shop based on the excellent reviews on Google and because prices of Herson s Honda where I had been bringing my 2018 Honda CR-V for all services were too high and I wasn t satisfied with their services either. Marlon fixed our a/c and explained to me why Honda CR-Vs are prone to a/c problems (a structural problem with a/c hoses). Two weeks ago, I brought the car for maintenance and tire change. Again, I was completely satisfied with the service. I am also pleasantly surprised how silently it moves now. When we came to pick up the car Saturday evening, my son asked Marlon a lot of questions about cars, and he took time to answer all of them. I fully agree with one of the reviews that says that Marlon is a professional and master of his craft. A hard-working family man, honest and very knowledgeable. Just an all-around good guy who does his best to give you the fairest price and does excellent work even with difficult repairs. We plan to go to this shop with all our cars needs.

My 2005 BMW X 3 needed a new starter, and Marlon took care of it quickly and at a fair price. Great communication and professionalism all the way around. He took care of a few small other issues as well, without additional charge. I'll be going back to get my squeaky brakes taken care of and will not hesitate to bring my car to him if I need anything else in the future. B&A Auto Repair s team were wonderful in the process to repair rear wheel bearings for my family s Toyota Camry. They were very clear about various part cost options as well as labor needed. My family is new to the area, and B&O was a great recommendation from a family friend and auto expert, and I m thankful for this great referral!

We had some car troubles while driving long distance and passing through the area. We were worried about being able to find a mechanic on short notice, but Marlon very kindly fit us into his day and was super accommodating. He showed us all areas of concern and even pointed out things that our usual maintenance guy had neglected to tell us about or take care of. He was very professional and a genuinely nice guy. I'm really happy we met him and we can't thank him enough for getting us back on the road confidently!

I ve been going to B+A for 25 years. Always happy with the friendly and professional service. A lot less expensive than the dealership. Marlin took over about 8 years ago and he s been great. Best service ever! I am the type of person to not trust auto mechanics, mainly because I lack the knowledge to know if I m being taken advantage of. But at B&A, they are honest and always give a good, fair price. He offers services when needed and lets me Know about upcoming repairs to keep an eye out for, but lets me Know for how long they can wait. I will never take my car anywhere else and know I m always in good hands here.

It s been over 8 or 9 years that I have been doing business with Marlon (Owner of B & A). My top reasons for coming here is:a) Quality of workmanship backed by a guarantee that if it s the repair process or the parts used by the shop that develop a fault sometime soon, it s gets taken care of immediately (not that it has happened)b) Trust, that the car will be treated with care and I have left my vehicle at the shop for weeks before. This shop was originally owned by my best friend s dad who I used to take my car to. He retired, and sold it to Marlon. Marlon always does a fantastic job taking care of my car and is very vocal about anything I may need to get done in the near future. Marlon is the best! A professional and master ofHis craft. A hard working family man, honest and very knowledgeable. Just an all around good guy who does his best to give you the fairest price and does excellent work even with difficult repairs. I trust him implicitly and take both my cars to his shop for repairs and have for years. He always answers your call and works around your schedule. I took my Chevrolet Impala to B&A for multiple jobs that my car need to be done and they did a great job to put my car back on the road. I took my car for a Safety Inspection required by the state of Maryland in order to get license plates. The 5 star score of this place appealed to me, so I took my car there and was not the least disappointed. I would actually rate B & A beyond 5 stars! We ve been going to B&A the last 8-9 years and always have received top quality service and repair. My 18 year old daughter took in her 2007 Toyota Prius that was having some performance issues as well as a perennial tire pressure light even when tire was full. Marlon gave it a full tune-up while addressing all the repairs needed and getting it back to us in 2 days, at a very reasonable price, communicating to us step by step as he addressed every issue. This was my daughter s first experience taking in the car on her own and his customer service, kindness and attention to her did not go unnoticed. He even tnrew in a quick repair of her rear bumper. We will continue to bring all of our cars to Marlon and his garage, and highly recommend this repair shop and stand by our high marks for Marlon s repair acumen, timely delivery of work and top customer service.

I have been going to B&A Auto Repair in Kensington, MD for a few years now. Many times, they have been able to take me as a "walk in" and fix my issue on the spot. For the larger service items, they have been able to schedule me in within a day or two. Services such as brake repairs have been significantly cheaper than going to the dealer or other shops. I have been to B&A several times for smaller items as well ( screws/nails in tires ) and they have been able to help me out (even late on a Friday...).
