I was going to let the fact that these dudes forgot to put coolant back in my car go but it has been months since they repaired and oil leak and did my oil change-now doing my first oil change they put the plug on so tight they stripped all the pan and brand new drain plug threads and my car has been leaking oil because of it. Absolutely horrible service please do not take your car here if you care about it.

I've been going to German Auto Service since 2008. I have a 2003 Audi A6 4.2L Quattro. The first car I had them repair was my 1989 Mercedes Benz 300 SE (I've sold it since). I've never had a problem with any of the services they have provided. I've been a loyal customer because I believe that they charge a fair price and do a good job in any/all repairs that were done to my vehicles. I've a had a multitude of issues with the Audi especially since it has over 130K miles on it. Every time I brought it to the shop, they were able to diagnose and fix the problem. They're accommodating and willing to find the best solution to fix your car. In some cases, I will bring in parts and will have them install on the vehicle for me (try doing that to a dealership!), they will not guarantee the part of course but the labor is very good. One thing to note is that you have to follow up and call to get a status on your vehicle. Other than that, I would recommend them for any/all German car repairs. I've recommended them to my fellow military and civilian friends, and have not heard any complaints. Great service, fair price!

Fantastic and quick service. I had a burned out bulb on my 2013 335i and called to see if they could fit me in right away. They were able to do so and finished the job in less than an hour. I waited outside the office and ate some candy, drank some water and comfortably did some work. Very impressed. Things don t often go quickly in the auto repair business but they sure did on my visit. Thanks German Auto Service. Keep up the good work!

VW dealer told me I needed a new engine in my VW Phaeton 4 years ago, took it to German Auto and they fixed the engine problem and car has driven like new since. Did not need a new engine. This has become my regular repair shop. I get repair work on my wife's BMW 540i and my daughter's BMW 325xi always with excellent results. German Auto is currently repairing my BMW 850i and replacing head gasket on my 85 Euro BMW 745i. It may take a little time but I can always depend on them doing in excellent job. I recommend this shop to anyone who doesn't want a rush job and want the work done right. To me, the cost is always fair for the quality of work.Just picked up my 1985 Porsche for climate control system repair. I'm very happy with the job. Everything now works perfect. Up front honest owner who always do a great job. I've taken my cars to German Auto for repair for the past 7 years and will continue to do so. Recommend this shop to anyone who wants quality work.Services: Air conditioning, Oil change

I have taken my Mercedes for repairs and servicing a few times here and the staff has always been very friendly and helpful. They are able to schedule appointments fairly quickly. The service team is not pushy in trying to sell services. Once when I had to leave my car and couldn't wait for it- they provided a shuttle to take me to work which was a nice service. Overall, I would recommend this auto shop.

We've been taking our 2000 BMW 323i & 2002 ML 320 to German Auto Service for almost 10 years! The whole team feels like family to us & they take care of our vehicles like they own them. From routine maintenance to major repairs, We've always been impressed with their approach and service. They always go the extra mile to fit us in & finish the service quickly. It's noteworthy to mention that our 323i has almost 190,000 miles & runs/looks like new. We can't thank them enough for being such a helpful, friendly auto service.

German Auto Service - Fast, honest, reasonably priced, and professional service!! My Chrysler Crossfire is basically an older Mercedes SLK with a different body (same engine, drive train, and chassis) and it s sometimes difficult to find a good place to get it repaired. Even the dealership doesn t like to work on it since it was a joint venture with Mercedes. When the water pump bearing was beginning to fail I found German Auto Service online and as always, I was somewhat skeptical. However, they performed a quick diagnostic to verify it was indeed the issue and didn t try to upsale me on anything. They just asked that I drop it off since I didn t have an appointment and they had a heavy backlog of cars. To my surprise, they called me shortly afterward to notify me the repair was already complete. Repair was less than the dealership would have charged, completed much quicker, and most importantly it was done right the first time. Thanks GA Service! You just earned yourself a repeat customer. No, I didn t get anything for writing this. Good service deserves a positive comment.

Came from out of town and my starter went out on my 2009 Honda Civic. The staff, mechanics, & owner were amazing! Starter was replaced quickly and at a discounted price! I m very appreciative and impressed by the process and how smooth it was. Car is running great with no issues. I would definitely recommend coming here and I will again in the future!

I was having a no start/no crank issue and tried to resolve the issue myself. When I couldn't, they accepted the car in it's disassembled state, found the problem (intermittent starter), and got it all put back together in a timely fashion. I had also bought parts to replace some normal wear and tear items while the intake manifold was off, they were willing to use those parts, they just wouldn't warranty those parts. They were very accommodating. My only issue was I was never given an updated/running cost analysis so I had no idea until after all work was complete.Solid work! I recommend taking you vehicle here.

When I bought my mercedes I was concerned about the maintenance costs. In reality, and thanks in no small part to German Auto Service, it hasn't been that bad. Overall I have less repairs than I had with other cars. I credit German Auto with being scrupulously honest with me on what does and does not need to be done to the vehicle. There is no doubt that past vehicles have had unnecessary work done elsewhere. I am extremely pleased with everything they have recommended I have done at German Auto.

They replaced my VW 2.0 TSI engine for 1/3 the price of what the dealer wanted to charge! And since VW built this engine with an inherent design flaw, the shop also upgraded the tensioner, chain, and and guides (which caused my original engine to lose time)... All this work was professional and I got my car back in better condition than how I left it.

I was dealing with an annoying oil pressure issue with my Jetta. I brought it here since they specialize in German manufactures. They were able to confirm what I thought was just a false-positive from a sensor by actually running pressure diagnostics on the engine. And instead of suggesting that I replace the entire oil pump they wanted to try a lesser invasive approach to see if that'd help. I really appreciate them not just wanting to charge me for a more expensive procedure and rather actually trying to solve the issue. That approach be hard to come by when working with mechanics. These guys really seem to know their stuff especially with German car manufacturers and have a genuine interest in solving your problem. I'll be bring my Jetta back for sure.

Took them 4 tires to simply mount and balance. I called and they said they could do it right away. Thankfully I work close by and didn't wait. 4 hour wait for 4 tires mounted and balances? I don't know how to do it but I'd bet good money I could do it faster myself! Lousy slow service... how they're still open I'm not sure! $233 to mount tires. You have to be out of your mind!

I recently took my car a 2004 Mercedes-Benz CLK 500 to German Auto Service to get an air conditioning problem checked out. They found the problem and fixed it immediately. Fast ,great, and courteous service. Thank you German Auto Service you have gained a repeat customer. Five stars!!!!

6 hours to rotate summer and winter tires. Then it was $400 for the 4 hours of labor. I assume that was an hour per tire? Quite possibly the most hilarious car bill I've seen in a decade of owning German cars. I'd recommend going anywhere else to get your German auto serviced unless you have time and money to burn.

This is by far the most horrible auto shop I have ever taken my vehicle to. I took my Audi there for parking brake malfunction, they had the car for 9 days, change a switch supposedly and could not get the brake to work or even tell me the problem. At the end I had to call them and take the car back from them, nine (9) days and almost $500.00 dollars later my car in not fix and now I have to take it to a real German Auto Mechanic. Please do not let this people work on your car. You will regretted!

Dropped the car as suggested. After 9 days with no response, was told , I will get an estimate next day...based on detailed description of problems given in writing. No response next day..after insisting to talk to the owner, he tells me the diagnosis cost of $135, I am already charged by him to test/diagnose the engine problems....and a detailed work for other suspension issues....estimated at $880. I declined that expensive work, agreeing only to fix vac leak as diagnosed.A note with details of complaints was given to him, with clear alert that I need ESTIMATE only!!Following day,[Apr 8, 2015], the 10th day I had to collect the car ONLY after paying in the office, that I did to my surprise an amount of $272.After I paid at the office, only then the owner, Mr Zygmut brings the car out and hands it over tome, ignoring the questions I asked. He gave me wishy washy answers to the additional $62 he charged for security system diagnosis...over and above $135.Knowing it was past his closing time of 6.00pm, I drove away,,hoping he took care of the issues. But ....on arrival at home in 25 mts I found quickly, there was no improvement in the engine idle, the lines he removed and gave tome were thick wall vac lines...and what he put on were rather thin collapsible lines that none puts on vacuum applications. But worse.... the idle was never fixed, he vac was never an issue...so I was robbed.Iam trying to address the injustice....donot know if he is the type to listen even !

I took my Audi here for a low oil pressure issue. I spent $500 and the problem was not fixed. I brought the car back in and after a week I had to call THEM to figure out what the issue was. After I called them, they told me right away that I would have to spend another $800 to fix the problem. They told me that they never checked the oil pressure after they made the original repair and now I needed to pay for another diagnostic check. How is it possible that I brought my Audi in for low oil pressure and they never even checked their work? To make matters worse they made me pay for the diagnostic check after I told them I didn't want them to repair the car. Please do not go here!!!

Was in the area from out of town, needed an issue resolved so I could get on the road home, they were extremely helpful, very professional, and got me on the road as quickly as they could and on my way. Worked with my warranty company for covered charges. They were awesome! Thanks

Dreadful . Please avoid this place at your own peril. I've sunk a lot of money into Swiek and his crew, but he overcharges and he gives no quarter to repeat customers. I was stranded and towed my 993 to his shop. All that was needed was a fuel relay - $500 for the privilege of a $30 part. I wanted him to look at a loose console piece. His reply - "we don't work outside, we are not a gas station". What arrogance. I've spent nearly $10,000 at his shop.Quoth the Raven "Nevermore"
