Majar Motors is always very fair with the price and takes good care of my family s vehicles. My dad and I have been taking our cars there for several years now and I don t plan on changing that anytime soon. It s a little bit of a drive for me now, but it is worth it for the good service and fair pricing

I don't post many reviews out on the web; it's just something I usually don't do unless I have a very positive or very negative experience. In this case the vendor, Majar Automotive, has repeatedly been nothing short of FANTASTIC!Every mechanic shop and car dealer service center around need to take pointers from Majar Automotive. Their prices are extremely reasonable, customer service is top notch, workmanship is the best around, they are timely, their experience is vast & deep, they openly communicate, and they are as honest as they come. You will NEVER have to worry about paying for something you do not need nor worrying about them not standing behind their work. The owners, Don & Jess, are onsite every day (and even nights) and are involved in every repair. You will not be in better hands anywhere else. They have undoubtedly earned every positive review they have received to date.For years I was urged by family members to take my vehicles to Majar. I finally broke down and did even though at the time I lived over 30 miles away from the shop. At the time, my mechanic shop of 20+ years couldn't resolve an issue they made several attempts to fix costing over $2,000 with no success. Majar Automotive solved the issue the first time, super-fast, and at a fraction of what I had already paid the previous shop that had no success. From that point forward Majar Automotive has been my go-to mechanic.My entire personal fleet of vehicles (mix of foreign & domestic cars) is now serviced by Majar.....4x4 pickup truck, mini-van, hybrid compact car (you read that correctly...a hybrid), large 4x4 SUV, extra-large 4x4 SUV (diesel), and a historic car. Majar possesses the experience to work on anything you bring them. There are not many issues out there they haven't seen and fixed. And, for the issues they haven't seen before they take the time to analyze and research the situation to ensure they devise and implement the appropriate repair.I trust Majar Automotive completely.....100%. So much so I do not think twice when my wife brings our vehicles to them without me accompanying her and I regularly refer Majar to family, friends, colleagues, customers, and business partners. I do not put my name on the line for many people or businesses; however, Majar Automotive is one of the few.Businesses like Majar Automotive are few and far between; we need to keep them thriving. Give Majar a try like I did. I have used Majar Automotive as my mechanic for almost 20 years.Don is always honest, stands behind his work, thorough, friendly, and his prices are extremely fair. He always takes the time to give my vehicle a once over to make sure it is safe, and he never performs any work that is not necessary or with out calling me first.My parents have also used Majar for over 35 years and my brother continues to use them as well.I travel all the way from Parkville because I know that I can rely on Don's quality work and professionalism.I highly recommend Don and his wonderful staff for any car needs you may have.Support a small, local business!!!!!

Don and the Majar team are the best! Our family have been customers of Majar for many years. They always provide an honest assessment of the work that needs to be done, without trying to upsell. We use them for all of the maintenance and routine work for all of our family's vehicles as well as for any major issues that pop up. They are extremely dependable when you have any type of urgent issue, and we've had many instances where Don has been able to get a car in for a quick fix or to check a potential problem. Majar provides reasonable pricing and excellent communication about the cost and expected timing. If you are looking for an honest, reliable mechanic and auto shop, we highly recommend Majar.

I have taken my vehicles to Ma-Jar since I was in college more than 20 years ago, and have always found the service to be outstanding. My most recent trip was for a tune-up and oil change, but Ma-Jar always handles issues ranging from routine maintenance to more unexpected developments with professionalism and expertise.Ma-Jar's prices are fair, the work is reliable and durable and Don has always been honest and direct.It is hard to find all three of those traits in an auto repair business, which is why I am more than willing to drive the 40 miles from my home in the�southern Baltimore suburbs to have work completed at Ma-Jar whenever it is feasible.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine tuning, Oil change

Majar Motors is one of the best car repair businesses EVER.Don, the owner, is fair, professional and highly experienced. I was out State visiting friends when I had a situation occur with my car that had to be fixed immediately. My friends suggested Majar Motors. I got in touch with the owner's Don and Jes, I told them my situation and they got me in as soon as possible treated me with the utmost respect fixed my car promptly and charge me a very reasonable price. I recommend this garage very highly. I actually have been back to get more work done because I had such great service & fair pricing the first time I was there. For me it is absolutely worth the drive to have my car serviced buy these knowledgeable, professional family-oriented people. Thank you so much Don and Jes hope to see you soon.

The most trustworthy automotive repair business! So when an out-of-state dealership recommends repairs, I decline their service and head straight to Majar. Don and his staff are top-notch, honest professionals.

I had several things that needed to be done. They did it promptly as possible , even the lady in the office works just as hard . They went above and beyond I feel in getting the job done. I feel they're very trustworthy .

I dropped my car off because it was not running. I told the shop that I was not in a hurry so take your time. I was told that they would look at it and figure out why it was not running. After Months of not hearing anything I decided to ride up and talk to them. All I got from them was we are trying different things and we will keep you informed. After not hearing from them again, another ride to the shop revealed that the car had a flat tire, battery dead and a large puncture through the sheet metal behind the passenger door. When asked what happened everyone denied they knew nothing about it. Car still wasn't running. I gave them one more chance and that turned out to nothing still being done and more excuses. I had Madonna Auto pick up the car and within one day they had it running, Don and his group of so called mechanics had my car for a year and a half and could not figure out that it was a Crank Sensor. Thank God I got it out of his hands or it would still be there rusting away. Although Don was a nice guy and I gave him many chances I would never take anything to his shop again. Maybe they can handle a tire change or an oil change but that is about it. Don't get scammed like I did, take it to Madonna Auto, fast service and done right.Service: Engine repair

We have used MaJar for years. Don and his staff are very reliable, fast, and they only fix the things you are having problems with, and do not try to sell you extras. It is tough to find an honest car repair. This is one!

I have had Ma-Jar fix all of my cars. They have done so no matter how difficult it was to figure out ( a pesky short from the rear wiper!) nor how tedious(water in a halogen head lamp) in a conscientious manner for a very fair price. When they do regular maintenance it's done well and the car is ready on time.

My wife woke up with a flat tire so I removed it from the car and took it to this garage. They had it done quicker than the time it took to write this review. Would highly recommend these guys.
