As I type this review I'm currently trying to get through to a live person. I made a claim the end of February for my washing machine through my home warranty. They sent a repair person from Sears. He diagnosed the issue and ordered the part and rescheduled my repair. He came back on scheduled day but part was sent some place else. He reordered part and rescheduled again for the next Monday. Monday arrived. A different tech called and asked if I had the part. I told him yes. He said he needed to find someone to help him. Didn't hear from him anymore. I received a text and email saying my service is rescheduled to Friday without any explanation. I tried calling Sears and could not get a live person. Then Thursday I get an email and text saying my service is rescheduled for Monday April 1st. No one came or called. I check the tracking and it says 5:21am for April 1st. This was at 4pm when I was finally able to get on the website. Now at 8:58pm April 1st, I've been on hold waiting to speak to a live person for 30 mins. I'm so very peeved about all of this because I can't keep taking off work randomly because they keep rescheduling my service repair. This is insane!

The technicians have all been very nice. My washer however continues to malfunction after one or two washes. They have changed parts to no avail. Trying to speak to a supervisor is like trying to speak to the Pope. The automated systems send you down a black hole and once you speak to a representative they appear to be reading from a script. They schedule appointments that at times no one shows up. They have been sending technicians out since August. Eleven successful appointments later and washer still doesn t work consistently. I have taken off from 8AM to 5PM 13 times. This is absolutely ridiculous. Having to pay monthly rate for warranty and take my clothes to the laundry or not be able to wash is exhausting. Between parts, mileage, and rate to pay the technician seems a better use of their resources would have been to purchase a new washer comparable to the brand I have. I am really questioning paying them every month. Signed a very tired and unhappy customer

My technician called to let me know when he was coming. He arrived within the estimated time. He repaired my oven quickly and was very nice and professional. Nothing on the technician, but I wish Sears would give a better time window than 8am -5pm.

Worst service experience I have ever had.Window of service is 8am-5pm, the tracker to update when expected arrival just keeps pushing back the time so you don't get an accurate time. The first repairman came and charged us $120 to essentially take a hair dryer to a vent filled with ice, left, and the problem was not solved at all.We rescheduled only for the repairman NOT to show up within the 8am-5pm window. When I called customer service to be refunded since I wasted two days off and $120 they just kept transferring me to a new person. The last person I spoke to said they would put in a request for a refund. The next day I got an email saying service had been rescheduled. I thought I'd let someone come out so I could speak to someone in person about a refund. The repairman called and said he was an and would likely be charging us $400 so we said don't bother. I had to call and cancel and while on the phone the representative hung up. I received an email saying we would not get a refund because someone came out and diagnosis was performed. However, they didn t fix the issue and we still have no idea what is wrong with the appliance. Needless to say, I'm frustrated and cannot say how much I do NOT recommend this service.

The technician, Ahmaud was informative about my dryer. In addition, he gave me tips to increase life of my washer as well without prompting from homeowner. He explained what was wrong with my dryer before beginning the repair and did not mind explaining when I asked questions. Good representative for your company!

The service tech once arrived was exceptional. However, the service call center & professionalism of the techs need to be tweaked. Don t tell a Homeowner (HO) a supervisor will return your call in an he & the call is never made. Service calls should be within a 4 hr window & a personal phone call be made to the HO when an adjustment of time is needed & before they leave their current site to arrive to their next destination; unacceptable, It took three attempts before service was actually provided.Vicki NolanService: Washing machine repair

He tried to shirk on doing the repair. I had to call and make three appointments. Twice he drove by my house and didn't call to see if I was home, but posted that he tried to call and no one was home. When he did finally arrive, he did the most minimal fix possible, without listening to my analysis of the problem. On the third visit, after I had to text him to track him down, he came and disassembled the unit and fixed the broken thermostat. During the repair he lied and told me that he cleaned out some dead roaches that had accumulated under the paneling. When he had to re-open the paneling to re-adjust the buttons, I saw the bugs there. Dude, why lie about it?

The tech completed the repair and told me that it was good as new. I started a light load and cleaned up the items that were generated by the repair. During the wash cycle a leak developed at the bottom of the door. Before I could stop/turn it off, the door flew open and 80% of the water and clothes spilled onto the floor. I tried to telephone the tech and the call when to voice. When I contacted to help center they told me that the earliest date they had was 11/03/23.Service: Washing machine repair

The person was extremely unknowledgeable. He complained that he couldn t help me because he couldn t find the model number. I was able to find it in 5 seconds. He then looked at the hood (didn t even touch anything) for 30 seconds, and told me it was going to be $950. Couldn t answer any technical questions or clearly explain the problem (which was ultimately just a greasy exhaust fan). Clearly had NO IDEA what he was doing.

Really bad. Quoted and outrageous price for repair, then tried to give us some kind of discount if we signed up for monthly payments to protect other appliances. Huge scam. I ll never call Sears for anything, ever again.
