My wife and had always dreamed of having a beautiful pool in my backyard, and Wise Pool and Spa turned that dream into a reality. From start to finish, their professionalism, expertise, and attention to detail made the entire process seamless and stress-free. I cannot recommend them highly enough.When we first embarked on the journey of building our pool, we reviewed and received quotes from several pool builders. Although Wise Pool and Spa wasn't the cheapest option, we trusted our instincts, and it was one of the best decisions we ever made. As fate would have it, some of the other pool builders we considered went bankrupt or out of business shortly after. Wise Pool and Spa's stability and reliability truly proved to be invaluable.Right from our initial interactions, it was evident that Wise Pool and Spa was different. They were extremely approachable, patient, and took the time to answer all our questions. Throughout the construction process, their team was attentive and kept us well-informed at every step. Their expertise was evident as they efficiently tackled any challenges that arose, ensuring that our pool was built without any hiccups.One aspect that truly impressed us was Wise Pool and Spa's commitment to customer satisfaction. They provided us with all the necessary tools and knowledge to maintain our pool effectively. Pool school with Rochele was an exceptional experience. She went above and beyond, explaining every aspect of our pool systems and providing us with the confidence needed to successfully maintain our saltwater pool.Not only did Wise Pool and Spa deliver our dream pool, but they also exceeded our expectations in terms of service and support. Wise Pool & Spa did an amazing job! From start to finish, they guided us through the process and made us feel at ease the entire way. Mike and his team were always consummate professionals and can understand why they have such a great reputation. We have a smaller backyard which made the work a little more challenging. It turned out absolutely beautiful and our family will enjoy it for years to come. I would recommend them to anyone and would be willing to share our experience if you need a reference.

Wise Pool and Spa recently completed our new inground pool and we could not be happier with the quality and service. Mike provided us with valuable information and tons of experience. He also set realistic expectations. There were mere minor hiccups with sub contractors (which is going to happen when building anything) and Mike made sure EVERYTHING was taken care of in a timely manner. He and his family were responsive when we had questions, many times going above and beyond to assist. We found all of his employees and sub contractors friendly and hard working. Having heard nightmare scenarios from people regarding their own pool construction, I found Wise Pools to be a breath of fresh air!

One of the worst companies ever in southern Maryland. I was told I was the first appointment of the day, scheduled to have my scimmer drain unclogged/ looked at. They were completely unaware they were coming to look at my scimmer, thought it was a pool opening. They never showed up. Called five times, left voicemails, no response. I have never written a review on any platform. But felt obligated to share my experience. I would recommend using another company, wise pool and spa are clearing lacking. Thanks for nothing, waiting weeks for guys to come over, was told you would help me analyze my problem and figure out the next step. Such a bs company. Seeing that they respond to reviews, hopefully I ll get a call now.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Mike was quick to schedule an appointment to come out to the house and discuss options. He was very knowledgeable about his operation and that of pools. Highly recommend using them if looking to get a pool installed or repaired.

Given the abundance of pool contractors in the Southern Maryland area and being a client of Wise Pools I cannot recommend them.Mr. Mike Wise has a fantastic personality as with all salesman who are trying to sell a service or a product. But great personalities do not make up for subpar standards of craftsmanship.The fact stands that Wise Pools does not do any of the actual "pool building". Wise pools uses other companies as subcontractors to build the pool for his pool customers. The problem with this is that "Wise Pools" has no say over the quality of work that is being installed. If the subcontractor that Wise Pools hires does bad work... tough. The subcontractors are not Wise Pools employees and will not be reprimanded or terminated for poor craftsmanship. The only person who will have to live with the poor craftsmanship is the customer who is paying $50000 for the pool.Every aspect of our pool build had some level of "poor craftsmanship" and some level of disappointment to us as the homeowner. This entire thing was not the experience we, or anyone else that is installing a large scale backyard project would want. This company will have you thinking you are losing your mind. They will tell you one thing and do something totally different. If you are looking for excellent customer service and an excellent completely satisfied pool installation process do not go here. Also do not complain about employees here this is a family owned business, you cannot place a complaint about the staff because they are all family. How do you tell the owner that his pool service tech is rude and you would prefer someone else come out to your home to handle your pool service when the service tech is the owners son and the only service tech the company has???If you do decide to go with this company because they are the cheapest priced keep this in mind.You get what you pay for bottom line.Make sure you get everything in writing, make sure your quote has the part numbers, model numbers of the items that you are receiving with the pool. Get the filter pump model#, get the filter model number, get in writing what kind and type of pool cover you are getting because this does not happen until the end of the season and you will forget if the info is not on the quote subjecting yourself to bait and switch tactics. Wise pools will say they install solid loop-loc covers during the sales pitch and provide you with loop-loc brochures but they will install is simple tarp cover that lays on top of the water with rubber bungee straps. This is the cheapest pool cover available and this is what he provides, you will not be pleased with it as you will not be pleased with his product or process as we have not been pleased with it.Wise Pools also will not seal the expansion joint where the pools coping and the pool deck come together. If you want your pool deck to look and be complete you will need to pay an additional $700 once all the concrete has settled and Wise Pools will come back and fill the gap with a special grout (But it's part of the pool project but it is not included in the pool build price...)At this point unfortunately I chose Wise Pools as my pool builder and I chose poorly. The pool will hold water and looks good from far, but the entire process with Wise Pools has been far from good. Since conducting business with Wise Pools I would say they are not my first, or second choice for a pool builder if I ever build another pool. If you are looking for a hole in the yard that holds water, I am confident they will meet and fulfill your needs. But, if your looking for attention to details, and excellent craftsmanship in your backyard masterpiece then my advice is look elsewhere other than Wise Pools or your project will be flawed in some way.We will not be using them for any future pool service needs once the warranty period expires.

Very unsatisfactory experience with Wise Pool & Spa when I had my pool regrouted. Once you write the check you can forget any support from them. I had problems with streaking and Michael Wise automatically blamed the problems on pool chemistry even though he never bothered to come look at the pool after he got his check. There is an abundance of information available from the industry that indicates the grout mixture and application process may also cause this problem, but he just forwarded me a note from Wilcoxon Construction of Rockville, who actually did the grouting, which indicated it was a problem with pool chemistry. Neither Michael Wise nor a Wilcoxon rep actually bothered to look at the pool. Also had problems with water from the C.L. Pitcher, the company Michael Wise coordinated with to fill the pool. A good amount of leaves and debris in the water caused spotting in several places in the pool. Wise Pool & Spa doesn't actually do any of the work - they just coordinate other contractors so save your time and money and deal directly with the pool and water companies. Very unsatisfactory experience with the Wise Pool & Spa store as well. Donna Wise is one of the most obnoxious people I've ever met. Unwilling to take the time to educate and help the customer. Only interested in selling chemicals - from there you re on your own and it s your problem to deal with. Stick with the other pool supply companies who are willing to take the time and talk to you and help educate you about your pool and pool chemistry.

EVERYONE needs to experience the R & J (Rachell and Joy) duo at Wise Pool & Spa. Effective customer interaction and knowledgeable service exude these two. In addition, they are accepting auditions for the Neighborhood Karaoke Team! Start signing a cappella or your favorite recorded karaoke tune as soon as you enter the outside door even before you see them or other customers. Your immediate feedback is a smile or a grimace. To date, only smiles.

Great service until they get their last payment!! I heard this same complaint with some neighbors in our neighborhood after we left them. We don't recommend this company!!
