Agape is a very trustworthy and reliable place. The guy who runs the place, Fred, gives fair prices for repairs and will be honest about what needs to be done. I took my Van to get the brakes checked out and he informed me that the brakes were working fine and didn t need to be replaced at all. I picked up the Van and he didn t charge me a penny. Service is fast and they will check out your car same-day (95% of the time)Service: Brakes

Listened to me as I explained what my car's issue was diagnosed as by a buddy, took me seriously and did a good shake down. Was upfront and honest about what they found and got the job done fast and at a fair price. Fred and his team at Agape Auto Service have always provided honest, efficient, and proper maintenance and repair to my vehicles. Most recently, they repaired the air conditioning on my Volvo. Being an oddball of a vehicle, I went in expecting a slightly longer lead time than normal. That wasn't the case. The folks at Agape had the failed part shipped overnight and repaired the very next day. Highly recommended!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Air conditioning

Had a Maryland State Inspection performed on a used car. Inspector was very knowledgeable and honest and detected a serious but not obvious wear issue in our lower control arms. After replacing part elsewhere Agape, performed 4 wheel alignment and certified our inspection. Almost no waiting to get on their calendar either time. very prompt service.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Vehicle Inspection, Wheel alignment

I bought some aftermarket brakes for my 2019 Genesis and took my vehicle there to have them installed. I went by yesterday to check out the shop and felt very comfortable with them handling my car. They gave me an appointment for today and said that the car would be done in about 3 hours. Not only was the car ready on time they took me in the back due to their concern of a clicking noise after they test drove the vehicle. They wanted to make sure that I was aware of the noise which turns out to be normalaccording to the manufacturer. I can honestly say that my car will never see the dealership again and I'm pleased that I have found a mechanic that I can trust.Service: Brakes

Agape was great. Fred and Robbie in the office were very friendly and professional. They provided detailed estimates and honest recommendations of the work needed for me. The work was completed in a timely fashion that same day. I wish I could write a good review because I really want to find an auto shop worth going back to but this place isn t it. Expensive and a bit fraudulent.My experiences:- They charged $100 more for break/rotors than at a nearby shop.- I went in to get one thing fixed (replace the starter) and they called me and said I d need new transmission fluid, brake lines flushed, rotors, breaks, V8 tune up, air filters, belts, and a bunch of other things. I appreciated them looking at everything but this was a red flag to me.- They quoted me nearly $600 to replace the starter and said it was because it was hard to get to and required taking off lots of parts. This was the final straw for me as this was a blatant lie. I ordered a new starter online for $130 and did the replacement myself. It took 2 hours (keep in mind I ve never done any mechanic work before) and only required removing 2 bolts and 2 wires. A very simple and easy fix that if I did again, would only take an hour. Either they aren t knowledgeable about how to do work here (go somewhere else where they are) or they lie here (go somewhere else where they don t).- The suspension on my vehicle was broken and they advised not repairing it. I don t know why but I got the vibe that they only wanted to do quick/easy work that didn t require ordering parts. I can t say for sure but just be weary.I gave a 2nd star because they did the work I ordered well and were very fast. They also showed me/pointed to the broken parts which I appreciated.

I was referred to Agape Auto by friends. I used the shop for repairs to my mother's vehicle. After being quoted for similar plus additionalunnecessary work "needed" by a nearby dealership, Agape gave us a more accurate work order and estimate and my mother walked away with half the repairs needed and a great working car! Chris and Rob were a pleasure to deal with. They were helpful and explained everything very clearly. We've lived in St Mary's for a few years now, and have been trying to find a good mechanic in the area. We've tried a few out and haven't been very impressed, and continuing to go to Waldorf isn't sustainable. Heard about Agape from Danielle at Advanced Auto, decided to head there today to introduce myself. Fred was able to squeeze me in this afternoon, I had work to get done, and wasn't sure if I could swing it today. He mentioned they have wifi it that helped, PERFECT!Wasn't sure what to expect, they have great reviews on Google except for a few people that should really be upset with themselves for ignoring the problems in the first place. It's few and far between when you find a mechanic that'll be honest and transparent about the work they're doing and what's wrong with your car, truck, suv, etc...After 30 min they came out told me what was wrong with the car, what needed to be fixed ASAP, and what could wait a few weeks. Shortly after they started the work, they brought me back to take a look at the car, and showed me exactly what was going on. This was a first for me as my usual experience is more like the the Wizard of Oz behind the curtain. I've had some of these issues with previous cars and their pricing was far better then I've ever paid before, even with a mechanic I thought I trusted.Customer service is a lost art but not here. Do yourself a favor and give them a call.

Took to get noise checked out, said nothing was heard or nothing was wrong with it. Still got charged 119 for the check up. Decided to take it to the Nissan dealership, not only was the the cause of the noise found, but was promptly fixed.

Thank you for being amazing, I had a problem with my Aspen, needed a place to look at it, called at 8Am and was seen right away they told me what needed to be fixed and was fixed with in a couple of hours.. They were even nice enough to take me home and pick me up when it was done. We just recently moved to the area and needed a repair shop they didn't disappoint! we will continue business with them!

These folks are great. Put AMSOIL in your vehicle make it run well and last forever. They are honest, fair and shoot straight. I drive far to see them and its worth it.
