Simply put, Rick is a good man.I visited this shop for an independent inspection and he made space for me last minute, looked at the car, brought me in to show me everything he found, gave me his honest opinion and explained everything in a way I could understand. I'ts always intimidating as a woman going to a mechanic and he made this experience SO PLEASANT. He was kind, patient, and extremely honest. I walked away without spending anything and more knowledge than I could have imagined. You'd be lucky to live close enough to be a customer of Rick's. Id refer his place to anyone. Great experience and the desk and bench are awesome too!

Rick and his crew here did a great job with my lifted jeep! They replaced every single part of my brake system because it had failed from sitting for 6 years straight, they performed a oil change and helped give her a tune up. Now it runs and drives great, even after sitting all this time! I highly recommend this shop, these guys are local in the Hampstead Md area, and have old school knowledge, they ve done other vehicle repairs in the past for me and continue to impress with top Tier professionalism and having the job done on time. Great guys, great mechanics. We keep three vehicles on the road as daily drivers thanks to Business 30 - Average vehicle age: Over 18 years. No snow jobs or upsells - Honest advice. Fairly-priced work. I don't think you'll regret giving them your business - We haven't.

I took my sons car here for a check engine light. They had the car for 4 days and said it was a intake gasket. They also advised me the car needed 1 wheel bearing replaced. They called the next day to tell me the car was finished but they had to replace another wheel bearing and charged us over $1250! We picked the car up and made it 2 miles and the check engine light came back on. Not going back to this place. They charge us $610 for 2 wheel bearings.Service: Auto maintenance

Needed an oil change while out of town. Friends recommended Business 30. They got me in their schedule quickly and did the change while I went to breakfast. Fast and easy!

I have using Rick's shop very happily for several years. When I would get our cars repaired from the dealership or other national chains, I always felt as though I was getting screwed. It's difficult finding a shop that you trust and know they are looking out for you. This is that place. Honesty and integrity are priorities number 1 for Rick and his team. My latest experience was with Brooks Huff in Cockeysville...they quoted me $2,300 for some repairs...Rick did all of the work quoted and more for $717. I would highly recommend everyone to contact him immediately for any repairs that you need...you will not be disappointed.

I have been bringing all my vehicles here since they opened. They are great people to deal with. I hear all these horror stories my friends have with "The Other Guys" and I always refer them to Business 30 Auto. They have all been extremely satisfied. Before you go to the dealer or even after, call these guys and they will take care of you!

We've used Business 30 as our primary source of fleet maintenance of +80 vehicles for the last 4 years. They are knowledgeable, competitive, honest and trustworthy. I would and have recommended them to anyone.

Rick and Dell alway take care of us, diagnose only the problems current and those around the corner. Most importantly I make it clear and they understand exactly what I want done. I have 3 cars and really try to keep up with maintenance on all of them. The guys shoot straight and always give you the best option for what ever situation arises. A half day of Sat. would be nice, even every other week. Its hard for me to get in with my commute even with late night hours offered.

Capabilities of this auto mechanic are excellent, however I just had a very poor experience with customer service so I can only give 3 stars, not 5. When I picked up my truck after repairs they didn't have my invoice ready and they asked me to call on Monday to pay them. I was fully prepared to pay at the time of pick up. Upon calling on Monday, I was put on hold and forgotten about. Upon calling later in the week, there was no answer, though I must say they did call me and leave a message when I was in a meeting so an attempt was made. Upon finally calling again on Friday morning to pay, I was treated rudely, asked for my card info to "write down" without giving me a total. When I asked for a total and asked to call back when someone could give me the total and run the card (versus writing it down in the shop) I was rudely told "it's not my fault you didn't come in to pay" (obviously the person who did this was ignorant of the entire situation). I was then hung up on. Really a shame, great at their trade, but a rogue person in a bad mood who was misinformed or uninformed just turned me off completely.
