Been going here a few years for performance parts. Scott is a good dude and very knowledgeable. They don't do dyno or nitrous but have a ton of performance stuff.

Scott speed shop.It is awesome. If you re building a car that s the spot. I m building a motor for my truck and I get all my parts from there. Scott is so knowledgeable and has help me so much. He has everything and if he doesn t he will get it for you real quick. I don t know of any other place like this. You ll be happy you went there.

Everything you would want and most everything you could need, from a local mechanic. Scott and his guys are honest, fair and quick, if you get it on his schedule first.Scott will take time to get to know you. He even does his own marketing, with occasional check in texts, to see if I need anything fixed on one of my several vehicles.Not Scott's first foray into marketing, as his TV commercial tag line "We even have bras!!!" is a firm hit to the childhood nostalgia gut, for me.Overall, if you call ahead and book a time to drop something off for repair and take the time to get to know Scott and his guys when you drop off your vehicle, you'll soon be part of the speed shop family.You will find that rare, comforting position of knowing you have an honest and fair mechanic, which is rare today's reality of mostly dishonest dealership service centers, in my experience. Can't recommend Scott's enough!

We are from Delaware on our way to Tennessee and we lost a RF axleshaft in our Suburban. We called Scott when they opened and they were able to get us in that morning and get us back on the road. Honest, friendly, hard working and quality workmanship. I would highly recommend Scotts.

Prices may seem high, but i promise you the team they have here will make you happy you didn't take your vehicle to another shop. If you can get past the geumpy old man, this place will be your favorite mechanic in town. Highly recommend!!

I called Scott s Speed Shop to tell him about my Jeep wrangler steering shaking violently due to death wobble . Scott took a look at my vehicle, gave me a very fair estimate, and ordered my parts. I made an appointment with Scott when my parts arrived, and he got my parts installed. Been driving my Jeep the last couple days and my steering seems to be like new. Scott even took the time out to check in with me to make sure everything was running as it should. I would recommend Scott to anyone having vehicle issues, and will definitely be returning to Scott if I have any problems. Scott always knows what you need. When you stop in you not only get fair prices on go fast parts, you also get a wealth of knowledge. I told him what spark plug I had, and I needed a colder plug, and he made a call and got me what I needed. Top notch, support this local business if you're able to.

Scott helped me with a simple problem on the spot, he charged me very fair and saved my project from staling another week until parts arrived. I ve also had exhuast work done at his shop before it s a quality job. Very happy he is in business.

Got and oil change and md state inspection. My dad always told me to come here if I ever had a problem. Turns out the last place I got my oil change from didnt put my master cylinder cap back on and I drove to florida and back -_-. Extremely unsafe. And way over paid for full synthetic.Need new tires soon and will def be back. If your having car issues, look no further. Scott runs an honest shop with affordable prices, great values,and you can be assured your vehicle is fixed correctly and safely. Thank you for caring about your work, your customers, doing an amazing job, and being the best mechanic in town! I am Another life long customer!

I brought in my car to get fixed. He had it for 8 months and never done a thing with it. He never calls me for an update and every time I call, he apologizes and said he should have called but never does. Instead, he just blames the government on handouts and says "Nobody wants to work." I'm a patient man, but that's too long of a time to wait for repairs. My car sat for months before I finally had it towed somewhere else. When I went to pick up the keys, he was just chatting with his friends at the front and gave me a curt 'sorry' before going back to talk to his friends.

Had a big thing typed out about how great and affordable and friendly and non pressuring they are, accidentally hit the back button and it's all gone. point is, they won't sell you something you don't need or didn't already want done, if your car comes in with a specific issue you want fixed they will look into that issue. Great for someone like me who knows my car already needs 20 other things, but just want that one problem fixed. The problem turned out to be needing a new distributor, fortunately for me i can easily do that, so I can order it and put it on in minutes. If it was a crank sensor behind the pulley like i thought it was. I would have had them do it and trusted their rates as they gave me a good quote on it before they found it was the distributor. They didn't charge me for diagnostics, they just let me come and pick up my key and didn't make me feel like i had to be sold on anything. Real honest good shop, you won't find many more of those still in existence. And i have trust issues and I'd trust them.

I've been a customer for almost 15 years and can say that I've serviced close to 1000 cars, all different make and models. Scott and his crew are very professional and knowledgeable, they can fix every make and model. The most important thing is that they are honest. You will never have to second guess them when you read your estimate. Unlike most service departments in Hagertsown, Scott's Speed Shop will only recommend to fix what's needed, and you will never fill pressured. I am a car professional and highly recommend Scott's Speed Shop to anyone.Thank you guys for all your hard and honest work over the years.

Hagerstown has quite a few mechanic shops to take your vehicles to, but Scott has not only treated me well, but my entire family. From oil changes, tie rod ends and inspections, he has always made sure I was able to stay on the road. Since I am a mobile technician, I need my vehicle; Scott understands priorities. Thanks Scott, we appreciate everything you do for us.

Took brand new black rims and tires to him to be mounted. He mounted one and knicked the rim on the back side. The second rim he tried to dsy it was damaged when he opened the box which was a lie!! You can clearly see he had it on the tire machine and he must of left the arm drop and it hit th he rim and knicked and scraped the powder coat finish. Scott and his worker denied it and said it was like that. And refused to pay for the rim. I took the rim to Asap powder coating and they tell me the rim isnt fixable to much damaged..Now I'm out more money cause I have to order another rim and wait cause their on back order until November.

I've been a car enthusiast for nearly 20 years now and I've seen the inside of a lot of different shops. After a while you can develop a sense for the shops that really take pride in and enjoy the work they do. The atmosphere is different at those shops. Where customers hang out on their pickup tail gates in the parking lot and are happy to chat with whoever rolls into the lot. Where the lot is filled to the brim with all manner of vehicles all sitting side by side - rusty old trucks, custom rods, muscle cars, tuners. Where the owner tells you he has projects scheduled out for weeks and yet still manages to fit you in on short notice when a weekend header install encounters a hiccup. Shops like these are a rarity - no matter where you are. But these are the places worth searching for. I'll definitely be back to see Scott again in the future.

Had appointment to get master cylinder, he said bring it in Monday evening before 6pm and will leave car inside. Got there and he said can t do it until next week, whining about can t get help. What a joke. OF COURSE he said SORRY, I should have called you. What a joke!

Wonderful experience! Very knowledgeable of products and availability of parts! Called when order came in and ready for pickup! Walked in to pick up and greeted with smile and gentleman know what I was there to pickup without asking my name! Amazing customer service. Thank You

IF they don't have it in stock, they can get it. For me they had a 1 (regular) workday turnaround! They know their business, very friendly and professional. It's like being at the ol' garage hangout. TOP- NOTCH service and Humble!

This place is a joke. I left my car for them to fix a catalytic converter at 8:30 in the morning....... i get a phone call at 4 pm with scott telling me they had ordered the wrong part. So i went and pick the car up with scott telling me to drop the car back off the next day before 10 am. Fine i thought. So therefore i dropped it back off at at at 9 in the morning. Didnt get a phone call until 5:30 pm and for them to tell me something else would need to be fixed. Remind you they close at 6. I said fine go ahead and fix it. And i was under the impression that someone would work some overtime and get it done. So now its 8 pm and of course i called and nobody Anwsers. Let me guess i have to wait until the next business day for them to give me my fat bill. But i can guarantee you they wont refund me the money i missed out on for work. Im sorry as far as it goes you never leave someone in the dark like that. I had no way to work and down 400 bucks for this mistake. I know i wont be returning here.. ohh and i just read one of the reviews on here which kinda made me laugh a little. Why in the hell would they tell you to leave your car there for an estimate. Lol thats pure laziness if you ask me.

I had a appointment with Scott's to do a Maryland State Inspection but the guy who performs the inspection got sick and took off work and I really couldn't wait because my inspection date was near so I told him I would have to go somewhere else.

They lie about what is wrong with your car to get more money out of you. Lucky for me it was just an inspection and I do my own work because most of what they said was broke or needs replaced was not broken at all.

Custom car and truck exhaust is an art and Scott is Michelangelo! I have had him install Flowmaster exhaust on two of my trucks and the workmanship far exceeded my expectations.
