Prices a good bit more then my usual place and they didn't reset my maintenance light. Makes me wonder if other fluids and filters were checked, changed, or topped off if needed

Absolutely disgusting business practices. I'll capitalize the important words: DO NOT GO HERE. Vehicles get VANDALIZED and they take NO RESPONSIBILITY for it at all.Our vehicle was supposed to be done in 2 days. They had it for 6. We called every morning including the day our catalytic converter was supposedly STOLEN - we don't know because the STORY KEEPS CHANGING. There's no way they didn't know the second they moved it into the garage.. They even filed a police report and then DIDN'T INFORM US WHEN WE CALLED. They waited until after they did the work (AC compressor) we brought it in for and then tried to CHARGE US FULL PRICE for parts and labor TO REPLACE THE CAT TOO - their reason being a A SMALL SIGN that was apparently posted on their door that frees them of ANY RESPONSIBILITY whatsoever of anything that HAPPENS TO YOUR PROPERTY WHILE IN THEIR POSSESSION - they conveniently don't point it out or have to sign anything saying you agree to these terms.We asked the guys in the garage to show us where it was cut out and they literally LAUGHED AT US and said we could have it straight piped since THERE WAS ENOUGH PIPE LEFT on either end to do so. We left to talk to the police to try to get a hold of what happened since at this point we had gotten so many different versions of what happened (it was stolen Saturday, it was stolen Sunday, they had security footage, they didn't have security footage, multiple vehicles were hit, ours was the only one, they found out yesterday, they found out this morning, etc). All we found out is that when Pope Tire told us this only happened once 3 years ago, that was a lie.. THE POLICE SAID VEHICLES ARE VANDALIZED AT POPE TIRE REGULARLY - THATS WHY THEY HAVE THAT SIGN NOW AND DONT POINT IT OUT TO PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS.. and by the time we got back to Pope Tire, they had CLOSED EARLY.When I came the next morning to pay them for the work they (supposedly) did with no argument about it on my end, they REFUSED to take my credit card or to GIVE MY KEYS BACK TO MY VEHICLE. We had to CALL THE POLICE AGAIN and suddenly their card reader was magically working. The woman ACCUSED US of being shady with the reasoning that we left our vehicle parked in their back lot for a week - WHERE THEY TOLD US TO PARK IT and then LITERALLY THREW MY KEYS AT ME and we left. When we got it home, we saw that THE REST OF THE PIPES WERE COMPLETELY CUT OFF by the time they ALLOWED us to take our vehicle back making it near impossible to get it fixed.AN ABSOLUTE SCAM. DO NOT GO HERE.

The BEST! If you re not knowledgeable about cars and are tired of getting taken advantage of, come to POPE! I had a nail in my tire and the place I originally took it to said it was impossible to patch and I had to get 4 NEW TIRES! I took it into pope to get the 4 new tires because the last place didn t feel right and they called me and said Um, can you help me to understand why you need 4 new tires? I mean if you really want to spend the money that s up to you but this is just a simple patch job and would cost less than $40 . I will NEVER GO ANYWHERE ELSE!

Do not take your car here!!! They told us what was wrong with our car, quoted a price and said it would take 3 days. After several excuses, a week later they called and said they were wrong and it needed way more work. We told them nevermind, give the car back. They then charged us $450 anyway, when they were the ones who gave us the wrong quote. They did not fix anything.

Had an amazing experience with this service center! Their customer service is top notch, service was provided quick, professionally, and inexpensively. Has to have been the best experience I've ever had getting a repair done. Highly recommend and will definitely be back next time service is needed.

Do not go to this place especially if you have nice new wheels, they bent one of my brand new wheels putting tires on the wheels and refused to take accountability for it. Terrible selfish people here smh. So sad a company that big can't take accountability for their actions!!!!

Traveling for Thanksgiving when the tire sensor light came on. The staff at Pope Tire ran a quick diagnostic and got us back on the roadwithin 35 minutes. I highly recommend!

Christy and team are always very sweet and connect with the customers. They are usually, if not always the best price in town as well. If you need tires give them a shot first. You won't be sorry. Love this business.

This place is the absolute best for all of your car care needs! Kristi in the front is just the nicest to deal with and very knowledgeable. Always get my cars done in a jiffy. And their prices are very competitive with most other shops in town. So go n see her. You wont b disappointed. I promise

What an absolutely amazing place with amazing and caring people. The 2 ladies up front are so wonderful I can't praise this place enough. Great work and my car drives so much better but the customer care I was shown is really what mattered to me. Thanks ladies

Highly recommend. The staff is extremely helpful and nice I purchased new tires and they were a very affordable price and the young man got them put on so very quick. If you need good service pope tire did the place to go. They have done so much to help me. Such a great place and wonderful staff !

I had the best experience here! I needed a tire I called they gave me a price over the phone. Drove in my tire was replaced. They even upgraded my tire to a higher quality tire for the same price. I don t think it even took 10 minutes for them to get my car replace my tire do everything they needed to do and I was out the door. I absolutely recommend this place to everybody.

Never again. I brought my car in for a simple alignment and tire balancing. Once they finished, I was told " the vibration is completely gone and it drives straight as an arrow." The moment I drove it off the lot it pulled hard to the right as it did prior to service and the vibration was still more than evident. I brought it back in today and when I informed the desk clerk that I wanted to ride with the mechanic on the test drive, she got silent and disappeared. Completely unprofessional and honestly, it's not a totally left field request. Second shop in Hagerstown I've been to that "fixed" the issue only to still have my vehicle performing the same as it was prior to service. I'll never go to Pope again. Nor would I ever recommend them to anyone.

I have had my vehicle serviced several times at Pope Tire on Dual Highway and have never been disappointed. The staff there in the office Dara and Kristy are very friendly. The mechanics Eddie and the gang are very thorough and strive to get the job done right the first time.

Fast Friendly service thats done right! Speed and Price is what I look for so I come to Pope Tire for all my Auto needs! EVAP Purge Valve & Elite Brakes & Rotors. They were done and calling me in 2hrs! Thanks Y'all @ Pope Tire Warehouse Dual Highway! See ya again soon!

Have gone here a couple of times and have had great n speedy service, .... but man Hagerstown must have lots of nails on its roads! ... :( , So if ya need a quick plug this is the place to go!!!

Been there several times never had a problem till this last time. Do not recommend the front desk staff are rude and when you call them they cut you off and say will talk to the mechanic and call you back. Never got a call back, wanted to charge me over 4900 that I am having repaired else where for 2 grand cheaper. Did compression test but looked no further at why just wanted to change my engine. But it was the rude staff for me.

Best place in town to get your car worked on. Always timely. Never had an issue with any work done. Office staff is super friendly and informative!

Incorrect diagnosed my vehicle. My wife took our vehicle to them because it was leaking coolant. She was told engine oil cooler needed replaced. We got a second opinion from a different shop and the actual issue was the coolant reservoir. The two repairs are a $600 difference. We have taken our cars to them previously with no issues which is why I gave 3 stars. We will not be going back after this mistake.

The most courteous and helpful place I have ever visited.It was only for tire air. The ladies inside were great. The gentleman that did the work was knowledgeable and fantastic.They didn't charge for anything. What other place can you name that charges NOTHING for a sevice.They will definitely have ALL my business.Give them a try...you will also walk away HAPPY and IMPRESSED.

I've been doing business with them for many years. Never had a problem. I've bought, probably a dozen sets of 4 new tires from them over the years as well as having 5 different used vehicles inspected. I normally do all of my own repair work. He has never failed an inspection for something that it didn't need. Repair prices are always honest and he always does a good job.

I called to get a flat replaced with a new tire and they were able to accommodate me right away. I felt the service was very good, the desk staff was friendly, and they took care of it quickly. I have no complaints and will use them again.

My Dad and I went to pope tires this past Saturday. We were greeting by Daniel who shows us new tires and went over the prices. Their service was fast and professional. We were treated very well and was in and out in a short time. My Dad and Jeff the owner have known each other for 20 years or more so it was nice for them to catch up. The two gentlemen that did the mechanical work was fast and professional as well.

I have used them for years. Service is great,Prices are good basically a few dollars more that tire rack but with none of the headache. Definitely worth the $20-35 difference to not have to wait for a shipment and then load them up and take to a tire shop. Plus I believe in buying local. This place employs many of our neighbors and their families need to eat to.

First time I needed tires put on my van. Everything went smoothly. Last Monday I had 2 more tires put on and an oil change. I noticed that my reminder sticker said I needed another oil change at 166,218 miles and my car was at 136,218. Ok no big deal someone can't do math and added 30,000 miles instead of 3,000 but I know better. So Saturday morning I left for work and my husband noticed oil in our previously perfectly clean driveway. He stopped by the shop to let them know something isn't right. They were really nice and said to bring the car back by 3 because they close. Well I was already working in Frederick until at least 4 so I couldn't come in and they were going to be closed the next day. My husband drove all the way to Frederick to exchange cars and when he got back to the shop the lady at the front seemed overwhelmed and was extremely rude. They told him it was a loose cap and offered no apology. Terrible customer service. If my husband hadn't noticed my van could have easily lost all the oil and killed my engine. This is my 3rd incompetent mechanic I've been to in Hagerstown, first being NTB who overcharges and did unnecessary work, the other is Eddie's tires who put a slash in my tire that I wanted mounted. If I can't find someone I can trust I will have to drive down to Rockville to my old mechanic.
