Fantastic experience at Burhans Auto Service. After finding that my A7 was leaking fuel, I was looking for a shop that could service Audi s and couldn t be more pleased that I chose Burhans. Sam was a pleasure to work with and his customer service is exceptional! The repair was completed extremely quickly and the pricing was very fair. Thank you!

The reason I had given this business 5 stars is because when I called and explained the situation I was having with my Jeep Patriot charging system, I had how much were they going to charge for the diagnostic and they stated no charge, while other automotive repair shop wanted to charge 150.00. So, therfore this business showed honesty up front and that was appreciated!

the kindest people ever. i was having a rough day earlier this week dealing with a flat & having to find a new rim and tire. when i finally got them i called here at 5:40ish asking if they could put the tire on my car, not realizing that they closed at 6 but even with that they took me in. not only that but when he finished putting the tire on he said he wasn't going to charge me anything (i think his name's sam i can't quite remember). i tried to insist on paying for the tire installation but he reassured me that i didn't need to. that act of kindness meant everything to me after dealing with a lot of stress that day. will definitely be bringing my car here from now on. the service was great & the people are amazing! :)

This place is amazing. Sam is the gentleman that helps me as well as the ladies who answer the phone. I don t know everyones name yet but I will definitely be coming back when needed to find out. I ve been here a couple of times and in that time I can tell that they treat me and other customers well. Sam takes the time to tell me what s going on with my vehicle. I drive an 05 Honda and if I don t need anything fixed he tells me. This time it was my alternator that needed replacing. I m more than grateful for this business because I feel like they go out of their way to help others. I won t ever take my car anywhere else without talking to them first. This is the type of business that I love to have helping me and others in the community.

I started bringing my cars here last year, and now nobody else will touch my cars except Burhans! The whole team is wonderful, and they always get my cars fixed up in a very timely manner. Their prices are extremely reasonable, and they will never try to sell you something unnecessary. As a female, I used to always get insanely overpriced estimates for work at other shops. Family owned businesses who are extremely friendly, honest and do absolutely wonderful work at a fair price . I ve known Larry since middle school and will continue to send my entire family and friends to them. If you want honest work done without worrying about having other unnecessary work pushed on you like most of these places do, please take my advice and go to Burhans.

I am an 85 year old (hep) woman with a 2007 Toyota Sienna. It is very important to me that I have an auto service I can fully trust. I have been going to Burhans since moving to Hagerstown 4 years ago. Sam is the gold standard! He will always be honest about your cars condition and never tries to sell you a part you don t need. Charges are always reasonable. Also, his wife, that works in the office, is very helpful and pleasant. My go to for oil changes! The owner is so kind.One of the times I went I didn t call ahead of time, overwhelmed with work and recently giving birth I went there. The lady up front said unfortunately they couldn t take me. As I was about to leave the owner appeared and said he would do it.I was overdue for my oil change and w the stress of a newborn that made my day. Thank you!

Sam, the owner, chatted with me about how he watches the quality of the parts he has installed over the years--after a few warranty issues from the same brand, he moves to different brands. He's got quite the stories of how he has used this data to educate his customers. It's a family shop, and they all care about making the experience a good one for their customers!

I strongly recommend this auto repair.facility. Although they are expensive their superior quality service unarguably justify their rates .However..of the 3 times my car was repaired at Burhans auto repair their work exceeded my expectations.I had my car repaired at other area shops in Hagerstown and had to return for a mechanical correction but not at Burhans .If you have problem with your car swing by Burhans and the car doctors will take care of it . This is a reminder to all customers lplease have funds ready when work is completed on your automobile otherwise it will become a headache to.the business owners

The service here was amazing. The staff were very polite and made the process of getting my car repaired simple.I had my car towed there Monday because I couldn t drive it. I got it back repaired and ready to go Tuesday evening. Burhans Service and Tires found out what was wrong with my car fast and got it done quickly. Honest, fair pricing and great, fast service brought in my 06 Impreza with high mileage for an oil change, they were able to fit me in immediately and efficiently and recommended the right kind of oil for my car. Definitely coming back for more service!

My boyfriend loves to come here because of the excellent service. When my car broke down we had it towed here after dealing with Nissan and their horrible service. I got my car repaired very quickly. I got new tires and my car is in perfect condition. All for a very fair price!

This place is amazing and does fantastic work! Extremely well priced and experienced, the owner is a wonderful man and he is a mechanic that actually cares and is considerate of people; i reccomend to anyone and everyone i know to Please do yourself a favor and take your car or vehicle here if you want amazing service for a fair and decent price from genuinely all around great place! So glad i came upon this shop

Won't ever take my vehicle to another place! Recommend to everyone including my own family. My mother in law has been taken advantage of at almost every car repair shop in this town. She went to them for new tires and they were honest about her not needing a new one just needing hers plugged! No other business would attempt that. It's family owned and from my experience they actually care about the work they do! I had them repair my vehicle for inspection and they went above and beyond! I recommend 10/10Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance

My wife brought her car in a few times and the owner/head mechanic was always respectful and nice. Not only that, but he keeps his prices fair and reasonable. He didn't even charge me for an issue with my car because it turned out to be nothing and even though I wanted to pay him for his effort he didn't see the need I suppose. The man is just a saint in my book and any problems we have with our cars we will certainly be taking them to him. I recommend you do the same if you see this review.

Editing after 4 years to say that my 5 star review is for over 10 years of services. (End of editing)Awesome service again and again. Honesty is unmatched. Sam (and his son) is very friendly and have always provided guaranteed service at best price. Initially I was a skeptical and was comparing the prices and within couple repair jobs, he won me over as a customer. It's not a fancy place serving hot coffee while you wait or a fancy loaner vehicles, but I trust him with all my vehicles and he redid a repair job without any complaint or charge.

I go exclusively here for my car. The owner is great and is honest about what your car needs and how much it will cost. If something will only take a minute, they will fix it right then. Best auto shop in town.

These guys are the bomb. Not only are they fair priced but they do not judge and will not do something they do not feel is warranted. I ve been coming here for a few years because of the friendly and fair service. They are very willing to accommodate and do a great job. Sam always goes above and beyond for me. They were quick honest and not overpriced. I will not take my Subaru anywhere else. Overall great experience. Still need tires but they did not push it on me they put the good ones in front not so good in the back and my car runs perfect as before it would shake at high speeds. I will be back soon for tires! Now that's how you do bussiness!!!Service: Brakes

Great service, fast and friendly. I broke down on the highway and was on trying to get AAA out to me for 3 hrs and still ended up having to reach out to a Private tow company which Burnham's recommend. Within 20 mins they were there and towed my vehicle to the shop. It was after hours so I dropped the keys off in the overnight box. They contacted me the next morning with the diagnostics which ended up being the catalytic converter which is very expensive so basically better Off getting something else. We were/still are in the process of Moving, changing jobs, and now carless so they said we can keep it there for a few days while we try to figure something out. If we do get the work done we will be using Burhans and will follow up with details. So far I definitely recommend them!

Awesome people to do business with! Completely fair for the work that needs done, I'm a personal mechanic myself and do all my own work however we even need help or don't have the time and or equipment to get the job done. In my case I needed some exhaust work/ correction done on my car, I hit them up and brought it in to look everything over, we determined what I needed, I ordered necessary parts, brought it back a few days later and it was taken care of at a fair price and my issue was fixed. I've recommended a quite a few people go here for work and have heard nothing but positivity from them all. So if you need your cars serviced, big or small jobs I don't think there's really anything they can't work on and fix for the right price. A+ service in my eyes and they handle your vehicles with great care! Anytime I need something done that I can't do or don't have time for I won't hesitate again. Hit these guys up for your vehicular needs.

Sam is amazing. Very honest. Don't base your thoughts of this place on experiences you have heard from people buying cars from them - I don't know what Sam had to do with the car sales part (they no longer sell cars), but as a mechanic, I trust him 100%. He services all 4 of our cars and he has ALWAYS been cheaper than anyone else and always does a fantastic job, and has my car back quickly. I would recommend him to anyone!

I was referred to Burhans from a reliable source and connected with Sam about my repair dilemma; I have an Audi A-3 that had been sitting for some time and needed diagnosis and repair which I was unable to address due to recent unemployment. I was fearful the motor was gone. But Sam graciously, patiently worked with me discussing a plan for repair understanding my situation. The repair required would get the car running safely again without unnecessarily spending a million bucks!! It is relief to know that there are still honest, compassionate auto repair business owners out there who simply want to keep you safely driving along. I would recommend this service shop highly, and will be bringing my future repairs to Burhans!! Thanks.
