I walked in and received prompt and courteous assistance with my inspection request. They were very thorough and made sure my car was road safe and ready to go back into service. Overall I'm very pleased with their service and the level of expertise from the technicians, who walked me through each step with knowledgeable information. Top marks for service and professionalism.

What impressed me the most was the transparency throughout the process. The technicians took the time to explain their findings, both the positive aspects and the areas that needed attention. They provided clear recommendations and even showed me visual evidence of the issues they identified. This level of openness made me feel like I was in capable hands, and I could trust their assessment.P.s. I came here for a $95 state inspection, they took 2 hours. At the end he took another 15 minutes on the computer and refused to tell me what failed while doing so. I know in MD it should be no reinspection fee but they charge for that. They also charged me $110 for the service not $95 and added these fake fees to the invoice. I do not recommend.

Service guys were very informative and helpful with my questions about failing the inspection the first time around. Quick and easy when you have an appt set. Would recommend if needing state inspection done!

Went for a state inspection. They never sent over the estimate, so I ended up having to call them to ask for it. Took about an hour for them to generate the estimate (during which time I couldn't go to work because they might call me). Then when I came for my scheduled appointment, it was more than an hour before they were able to start on my car. When they finally started working on my car, they realized that they had the wrong part, so I needed to get a ride home, leave my car overnight, and get a ride there the next day to get it (and spend a day without a car). To top it all off, when I finally got my car back, they had made a mistake with the estimate and the repair ended up being over $100 more expensive than I was expecting. These are all individually understandable mistakes, but put it all together and I basically wasted a day of my life and missed a lot of work without any sort of apology discount or coupon. The only good thing was that the employees were very polite.

I use Woodlawn Auto Repairs for MD State Inspections on my 2022 Santa Fe. They are always thorough, professional, and cost effective. The shop usually gets back to me in a very timely manner. I will continue using them for my automotive needs.

This is my second time visiting and for the second time they took great care of my car in a super timely manner. Staff was friendly and there was coffee in the waiting room. My phone was about to die n I was offered a charger. Simple yet elegant. Thanks guys

I decided to visit this location because it was nearby and I needed a Maryland State Inspection shop to sign off on my paper that stated I was ordered to have my tints removed. Being that my tints were already removed previously by my husband, I only needed someone to sign off on my paper stating it was done! Sad thing is, I had called several other shops throughout the county and city including XPRESS CAR CARE CENTER on Aquahart rd in Glen Burnie. All parties stated they could not do the service because they wasn t the ones who took my tints off (WHICH IS A LIE) & if they did agree to do it, they wanted to charge me! None of this seemed correct because what exactly was I being charged for? You re not doing me a favor, you re literally just doing your job! I then decided to get in contact with the MVA State Police for additional information and advice on getting my papers signed to when I was the told that it is ILLEGAL to be charged to get your papers signed if the tints are already removed which made ALL of the sense! The officer was kind enough to give the owner a call which he then tried to schedule an appointment for me for another day which is also something they SHOULD NOT do! The officer informed the owner on what needed to be done, and angrily, the owner agreed! (simply because he didn t have a choice!) He then made me WAIT another 30 minutes because he was upset that he was being forced to do the right thing! I would never ever come back to this location or any of the other ones! I recommend taking your money elsewhere and investing in a company that is honest and has integrity! I am so thankful to the officer who assisted me through the process and saved me nearly $50! If I would have had a good experience, he definitely would ve gotten a tip! But unfortunately I didn t receive that. I say this to say, please know your rights and don t let anyone take advantage of you because when given the opportunity, they will!

Very disappointed in my latest experience here, especially when a previous visit went so well. Apparently, the owner won't perform a MD. State Inspection on a vehicle with a cold air intake, which is legal in MD and has nothing to do with the posted inspection criteria. The owner also falsely stated that the car didn't have the factory installed engine, when it clearly does. If you don't want to inspect certain vehicles, just say that from the beginning... don't waste everyone's time by making excuses that make no sense.

This shop is a good place and they are helpful and accommodative, i went there to do my ignition instead of me to say I want to do ignition i say inspection wen he get to my car and see my tag he told me that I dont need inspection that is ignition I need to do not inspection he explained to me and directed me to the address that I will get my ignition done i really like the way he talk to me.

Great place to get your inspection done ..!! Smooth process with appointment. Be ready to pay extra 30$ if you have tint on and get it removed . You get $5 discount for writing a honest review. So don't forget

I wanted to leave a good review so bad because of being squeezed in for my inspection. I never in life went to an auto shop and left with a dead battery. I was on crunch time and was assured that the hot shot after draining my battery, should be okay!. My battery was fine( no prior start up issues) I went to my next destination just for my car not to start. I reached out to the mechanic (rob) and never got an answer. I had to get 2 hot shots after paying $483 for roaders and a tag light bulb. All together they got with the inspection $591. I was still left with a new battery bill and uber charges. Never coming here again!

I called 7 different places for a last minute Maryland State Inspection and got quotes for high prices and limited availability. When I called this shop, Gill was super understanding and worked to squeeze me in last minute. As I am from NYC, he took time to walk me through the inspection so I was clear and there were no surprises. I ended up needing a couple of things taken care of (Break pads and tail light) and he took me into the shop to show me the issues and was quick to fix them with my permission. While I was frustrated with the unexpected cost to pass inspection, I really appreciated Gill and his team for moving efficiently to get my vehicle up to code. Definitely recommend and will be back.

I used to visit this shop often to have mine and mt grandmas car serviced. I will not be returning ever again. I was out of town and my grandma was having issues with her car so i told her to take it there and have them check two specific thing being as tho i know her car like the back of my hand. Over two occasions in one month They fixed everything else other than what she asked them to look at and $1200 the car is making the same noise. If you aren t knowledgeable enough to fix the issue just say that but your going to the hottest place for swindling old ladies for their money
