Sold our house the other day. Were going to celebrate somewhere but the car wouldn't start, as if the battery had been drained. We carry an emergency battery pack for this eventuality, so we were able to start the vehicle and visit a nearby well-rated repair shop, Wells Automotive. Juanita took care of us, getting a new battery installation, a long-overdue oil change, and a tire rotation in relatively short order. We went home, picked up a couple great pizzas from the newly opened Angeli's around the corner from our apartment, and celebrated with champagne that evening. Grateful to Wells Automotive for saving the day for us!The photo is not our battery; ours was so much worse.

I got a call from my daughter saying the backend of her car was "skidding all over the place..." Being out of town and unable to quickly go assess things for myself, I took a deep breath, and started searching for shops. I figured what was going on was suspension related and Wells came up near the top of my search. I found their website terrific and the interactions I had on the phone trying to describe this condition was top flight. It ended up being a combination of struts, springs, and shocks causing the chassis to move around giving the perception my daughter described. Scheduling the assessment and subsequent repairs was painless. Being someone who does most of my own car repairs, including this type of stuff, I'm pretty tuned in to what folks tell me is needed and how they handle my questions is key determining factor in making a decision. I can say from my own experience that Wells met and surpassed my expectations. I have no reservations recommending them to others.

My car broke down and I took it to Wells the other day. They were so kind and efficient. They charged a super reasonable amount and had my car back to me in a day! The people in the office were wonderful as well. I'll definitely be going back in the future.

So I took my Chevy Cruze to have a simple oil change and couple weeks later I had a coolant leak which I never had before, took it back to them for them to say they can do a test but it ll cost me $150. I never had any issues with any of that prior to taking it to them for an oil change and now the engine is shaking more and ticking. Customer service was okay but I wouldn t take my car back to them. Also they took forever to bring my car back out to me when I declined them to do the test it s a little suspicious but guess I should have taken it elsewhere.

Very friendly and welcoming shop.Took care of the service I requested and provided me with other diagnostic information that may need to be addressed soon.Has a cozy waiting area for simple services and the whole operation has a very clean & neat atmosphere.

Wells Automotive is awesome! The staff is wonderful and Mrs. Juanita is very personable and kind. The cost was reasonable and the atmosphere is pleasant. I even received a Thank You card in the mail. I highly recommend Wells Automotive!!

We have been coming here for quite a while now and it has by far exceeded my excpectations in service. No one could fix my husbands Chevy K3500 1 ton truck and they had no problems fixing the truck. They are always courteous on the phone and both my husand and myself are very grateful to Wells. This is a big truck with an 11 ft. Utility Body on it and they never have any issues. The staff Juanita and Katie all of them are always so friendly, they return calls and so easy to work with at all times. My wife works at a high end dealership and closely with the service department so she knows how important it is for clients to be happy.I would highly recommend Wells Automotive to everyone, trust me when I tell you we have been through a lot with this truck and they are fantastic. 10 plus 20 stars for these people.Thanks Again, Richard and Mira Buzard of Millersville, Maryland.

Wells automotive is one of the best auto mechanics I have been to in a long time. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and keep you updated of the process. I brought in my Escape under warranty and they fixed it in a timely matter with no hassle. I will keep them in mind for my future services. I have used Wells Automotive for several years now. I first went to them with an emissions problem with my show car, a vehicle that was a 2010 Dodge Challenger with extensive upgrades. I was impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of the shop.Now I also take my 2015 Ford F-150 to them for all of its service needs, even tho the regular oil changes should be covered for free at the dealer where I purchased it.The bottom line is that I trust Wells Automotive for their honesty.Service: Auto maintenance

My car broke down on the side of 97 in an area that was pretty unknown to me. I looked for mechanics near me and found that Wells had the best reviews on Google. When I called and Juanita answered the phone, I could immediately see why.Juanita was so calm and reassuring. She offered to get me towed to the shop (which I declined because I had coverage through my auto insurance) and calmed me down on the phone.When I arrived, Juanita was not there but the staff that was present, was just as attentive. I received a diagnostic and estimate in a timely manner and was updated with any changes to approve quickly. Juanita even arranged for me to be able to pay over the phone and pick up my car when they were closed because of my unusual work schedule!I can't recommend this place and Juanita highly enough!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I used Wells years ago when I was leasing to own a vehicle and they were always amazing. 7 years later and the same family is holding it down! I now use them my commercial fleet needs and personal vehicle needs again, and they are absolutely amazing and accommodating. I have a 2010 Pathfinder. Going to Wells Automotive for all my needs has been a great experience. Everything from fixing electical issues to the regular oil change - their mechs are great. Customer service is always awesome and they communicate with any price changes or issues that they run into. Some customers may think that their prices are a bit high, but really they're not. They charge a fair price for the work and parts. And really...you can afford it, compared to a new car! They'll keep my Battle Tank running for another 100K easy. I won't go anywhere else for my car's maintenance.

They replaced an engine in my son's car and several other components to get it back on the road. Katie called me regularly to give me updates. She is very knowledgeable and offered great advice when I wasn't sure about something. The technicians did a great job and made what seemed to be a very difficult repair look easy. I have a 1998 Ford Explorer that would not pass the emissions test. Wells Automotive was listed in the MVA pamphlet for repairs. It was alot more wrong with the truck than just emissions. It was a very big job to take on, but they did the job. Juanita was very nice in letting me know that it would be expensive right up front to fix and she kept me informed off any changes along the way. So I knew the whole time it was going to be an expensive job. No surprises. She took the time to look for after market parts for me and she was very professional and knowledgeable about the truck. They even had it pass the emissions test for me. I thank them them for taking on a big job like that on an old truck. I'm not sure where I would have taken it if they wouldn't have done it. Thank you again Wells Automotive and Juanita for helping me with my truck. I will be a return customer in the future.Services: Auto emissions testing, Oil change

I just got my 2013 edge back today and I want to say thank you to Katie and the mechanic who worked on my vehicle. They kept me informed and were very professional the longest part of the process was waiting for parts I got my engine and transmission replaced and a few other odds and ends. One they had everything the work got done in only 2 day they have earned my trust and a customer for life.

This is our GO-TO place for getting our vehicles repaired. They are top notch when it comes to service and repairs. They are family owned and operated, which we love. We see the Dad and Daughter combo in house practically every time we are in there, either answering the phones, talking with a customer or sometimes out in the parking lot looking at a vehicle. They always get our trucks in as quickly as possible and within a reasonable amount of time and get them back to us pretty quickly. And they are always very happy to talk with either my husband or myself about what's going on with our vehicles. Neither of us ever feel as though we are being talked down to as we've often felt when talking to other mechanics from other shops. They're shop is nice and clean and pleasant to be in and has a nice waiting area if you have to stay and wait. Always a pleasure to do business with them. I was slightly panicked when I got the alert from my new vehicle that I needed an oil change and it was 1 day before I left for an out of state vacation so it was imperative I got it done promptly. I wasn't going to trust the dipsh*ts at jiffy lube or valvoline to toy with my baby so I called Wells and they managed to squeeze me in on short notice. Katie was professional and helpful. Wells Automotive - Raymond and Katie, and the rest of the professional staff - run, in my opinion, an extraordinarily knowledgeable, competent, well-organized, and, most importantly, honest shop. Ray diagnosed a tricky front-end problem that a prior mechanic elsewhere (who shall remain unnamed) had misdiagnosed and billed me for expensive, unnecessary repairs. Wells Automotive also ably installed a high pressure air conditioning hose in my 2001 Saab 9-3 SE (with 336,000 miles) - first time that I have had reliable air conditioning in several years! I had my Grand Caravan in for an ABS issue and rear A/C issue a few weeks back. The staff at Wells was quick to diagnose and fixed the issue without trying to charge for parts I didn't need. They even helped me out with the cost by saving me a couple hundred bucks off the original quote. It was very much appreciated.Update: Had my 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe in for oil leaks and a brake issue. Wells worked with my warranty company and took care of the problems quickly and seamlessly at a fair price. I would definitely recommend Wells Automotive!Update: Had my 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe in for a start-up rattle. Wells took care of the issue and worked with my warranty company. I don t know much about cars or maintenance in general, but my boyfriend said he really enjoyed the service here, so I tried it out. In terms of emailing for estimates, they were nice and timely, and the people over the phone are friendly as well. I went for some preventative maintenance, and they were real thorough in their explanations of what I needed and what was like actually crucial. After the service they even sent me a thank you card in the mail! It was cute. They re nice people overall and I would go again.
