KG Truck & Auto were life savers for my Husband and I this week! We have a 2012 Dodge Avenger that would not start . My husband had my neighbor jump us and took it up to Firestone to replace the Battery due to it being located in the driver side wheel well. Firestone called at 6pm to inform us that not only would we need a new battery but we would also need new battery cables that would cost $900 total plus a weeks wait on the parts. Right at Christmas time that was hard to hear. We called around to local shops and KG Truck & Auto was recommended. Kelsey got us in the next day, come to find out it was a corroded cable that was easily repairable. We had our car fixed by the end of the day and it saved us hundreds of dollars. The whole shop was incredibly kind and took the time to explain all the issues we need to address and the order we need to address them in. You can really tell they care about their customer and are very honest and upfront. We are very grateful we found this shop. I would recommend KG Truck and Auto to everyone looking for a good honest mechanic.

So these guys fixed my problem. I had a cylinder misfiring due to a bad coil pack. I would have changed it myself however my engine sits sideways in my car. The parts and labor cost came out to over 700$, for one coil pack and 6 spark plugs. I'd rate them a 4 starts if that was the case. However, upon further inspection, I realized that they did NOT change the spark plugs like they claimed that they did. If they had they would have changed out another TWO coil packs. One was broken to the point that I had to use needle nose pliers to get the boot off of the plug. Whoever claimed to change them all would not have been able to because literally the part I pulled out was broken in two pieces. Unfortunate because the front desk personnel are great and seem nice enough and have great energy people don't second guess the repair. But looks like the mechanics aren't worth the 160$/h they charge for them. Won't be going back. Additionally, my fuel lines were leaking so bad after the repair, now I'm questioning if they had anything to do with it. They quoted me 1200$ for the fuel lines because they had to be "custom made". When I looked at rock auto they were readily available. Hate to see it. Guess I'll be working on my car or taking to dealership as shops are a nightmare to deal with. Most people in the reviews do not work on cars and are happy to pay whatever price. However if you can fix it yourself without a huge hassle I recommend it. At least it will be done correct and you know you'll have peace of mind if it's done properly.

It's clear that after careful consideration, there were some opportunities for greater understanding in my situation. After the tractor was diagnosed by computer at another facility that referred me to KG, I took the tractor to KG for the servicing. I did not see a need for further diagnosis when the engine, dash codes and ash in the exhaust clearly appeared. So if there were any communication concerns, errors, or misunderstanding, we have discussed the concerns for correction.They are very friendly people at this location including the owner who attempted to correct any issues that might have caused the truck to fail after servicing. After three weeks of lost revenue, $10k on a DEF/DPF calamity and $2k on other work, I feel confident that this unit will be up and running sooner than later. Hopefully, we will have the best news to report later this week!

I have been getting my F-450 Dump body work truck fixed here for the last 3 years or more. Excellent work every time they have worked on my truck. Fast turn around time, and always fixed the problem the First time! Highly recommend this business. The customer service is amazing too!!!G. I bought a '86 Dodge Ramcharger recently and needed some work done. I didn't know how much I needed done but I needed a place that could accommodate the size of my truck ( 7' lift with 35' tires). I found KG online and called ahead and spoke with Juanita. She was informative , friendly and helpful throughout my whole process. The tech did a thorough diag on my vehicle and Juanita gave me a detailed estimate before they started any work. I had to go back and forth due to the price of ALL the work needed and Juanita was patient and helpful. A mechanic even helped take off and put of license plates for me. I got my truck back yesterday and it rides so well. I WILL make KG Truck and Auto my place to take my truck. Only negative is their distance from my house. THANK YOU ALL AT KG!

Finding a decent, honest mechanic can be very stressful! Well, look no further. I have been dealing with KG for a few years now and I can tell you. I will never look anywhere else. These guys are truly professionals. Always honest, very responsive and professional. I mean, you would eat off the floor in the shop. I was about to leave for a vacation in my new car. I had it delivered from TX. When it arrived I noticed it didn't sound well. Someone tried to cut the catalytic converters out while it was on the trailer! I called KG, explained the situation and that I was leaving for vacation. Kelsey didn't even blink an eye. "Bring it on over, ill take care of it" And just like that I was on the road. I bought a Corvette Z06. I like to believe this is a high performance car and I wouldn't trust anyone else with it! Thanks KG and team!!!!Service: Exhaust

This place will smile with you comfort you until they get your money. Just to let everyone know. They sub. Any and all inspections out. They do not do them themselves. Then if an inspection is $350. They charge you $550 And once you understand and find out they are getting over on you they the employees get very arrogant & ignorant and this also includes the Owner Kelsey . Wouldn t advise anyone to take their kids remote control car to them. Please learn from my mistakes you won t be happy or satisfied with their services. Then they told me my truck had contaminated fuel. Come to find out. My issue was diagnosed thru a real mechanic and my problem was a bad Heui Pump $3,100. Later. KG is a very good mechanical shop. My ONLY issue is the length of time it takes to fix small issues. They do GREAT WORK but, I believe they could prioritize a lot better and if the issue is too much work, then it's time to INVEST in opening another shop & I would be first in line to be a part of that as an investor. GREAT WORK, GREAT SERVICE, FAIRLY FRIENDLY but, as I stated vehicle return time needs a lot of help and looking into priority quick fixes should be looked at immediately before taking on longer, larger tasks, "IF that is what is happening".

Been a customer for 3 years- personal and fleet vehicles. I would never take my vehicle anywhere else. I can always count on James and the staff to provide great service, communication, and most importantly, complete and thorough maintenance and repair work. I see a review upset about all they informed about and I understand if your in a budget or just not happy with the number but let s all be serious if it was all that easy and cheap we d all have perfect running cars maintained at home. Juanita and the entire team have been nothing but informative and helpful through my situation. Is a llc owner I ll say first hand I know there are shops here in glen Burnie that could be cheaper and whatever but it won t look like kg. I did want to cancel for the simple fact of not having great time on myself but it s not a issue kg created. Thank you all in kg for your time. KG is great! Brought my lifted Jeep (installed somewhere else) in because a piece of the suspension broke. They were able to get it in within a couple of hours, identified the unknown manufacturer part and had it ordered the same day. Tamara kept me updated throughout the process and communicated very clearly the services that were performed. Will be bringing my trucks back for service and mods. Love everyone at KG. Helped a family member out who needed new tires. Talked to Chris about several options and helped me pick the best for my brothers needs. The whole staff is always pleasant and incredibly knowledgeable. They will make you feel like part of the KG family and not take advantage of your wallet. Kelsey looked over several 2500 diesel truck that I brought to him to final find a quality truck. He is very honest and knowledgeable to these thing. After purchasing the truck I had him due a 100,000 mile service which I thought was a fair price. Two days later Stephanie followed up with me to see if everything was okay. THAT IS GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I would recommend these guys and girls as they are honest and to the point.

I recently started using KG to do all our shop alignments. These guys are skilled and super knowledgeable! The front office is on point and keeps me updated on the status of jobs. I also love that they treat us as a friend and not just a number. All these things matter to me as a shop owner! We work on vehicles in upwards of $100.000.00 on a regular basis and have never felt more confident in a shop.

They have earned my continued business and trust. Only shop I will take my vehicles.I want to thank you for taking care of my truck repairs. Without my truck, I am out of business. I appreciate your efforts to get my truck back to me as quick as possible. Thoroughly going over it and making me aware of any issues. I enjoy the peace of mind. I don't have to empty tools or supplies for fear of theft. You have a customer for life. I highly recommend K&G to anyone looking for honesty and fair pricing. They are have even better pricing on an oil change than places like Jiffy Lube. Plus, I know it was done properly. As always quick reliable service. While my truck was there, they checked and notified me of other items that will need attention soon. I can't highly recommended KG Truck & Auto enough. Honest and trustworthy plus they don't try to up sell you. They are the only shop that I trust with my truck and my business. Always get me in and out.

I went to this business to get a Maryland state inspection. After they gave me a whole list of repairs and outrageous estimate for almost 10 thousand dollars, I decided to have my personal mechanic do the repairs and I buy my own parts and it only cost 1200.00 for all the parts and 550.00 labor. After getting the repairs done they charged me a full inspection fee a 2nd time and failed me. I came back a 3rd time and they failed me again. No charge this time, but I was convinced that they weren't going to pass me. I went to kw inspection and they passed my truck with flying colors in less than 3 hrs. IN MY OPINION, THEY WERE MAD THEY COULDN'T TAKE ADVANTAGE OF A NEW BUSINESS OWNER WHO ONLY HAD 1 TRUCK FOR SERVICE . ALSO THAT I DIDN'T LET THEM DO THE REPAIRS FOR THE ridiculous price of almost $10,000.I will never go back here nor recommend this company for service on any thing.

We moved to Glen Burnie 6 years ago. When you move to a new area you look for a good auto shop, appliance repair, things like that...your go to places. Thankfully I found KG. This is bar none the best auto shop I ve ever dealt with. They are professional and very friendly. As soon as you walk in you re at home. Always friendly and they will never do work you don t need like many other shops. This is my go to and I highly recommend them to anyone needing auto services. I wish I had found this shop before. The husband and wife that own the shop are very friendly and know what they are doing. I have a 1994 GMC Workhorse W4 and it has issues. I mean issues. When I found these guys in google and went there, they took my truck in and did their best. They gave me an update every time there is a change in estimate. They earned my trust and I am definitely going back with my truck there if I run into issues. Thank you Stephanie, John, Mark and every one who helped me out.

I recently had my 2005 Jeep worked on at KG Truck & Auto. The price was fair, nothing added on at the end. The Jeep runs great and I couldn't be happier. The work was completed in a very reasonable time. I would recommend KG to anyone for their auto and truck needs.

Kelsey and Stephanie go above and beyond for their clients, I ve used them twice for my business truck and both times my truck was ready sooner than expected and in compleate working condition. I could not complain about them. They are also very personable and sweet never trying to rush you out the door. Highly recommend :)

Had brand new tires installed 3 weeks before having these guys do an alignment. A few months after front tires are ruined. Go back to talk about it and front desk ladie tells me tires were bad before i brought truck to them but yet let me leave the store after paying 800$ instead of rotating the tires when they did the alignment. So basically set me up for failure! Wont get my business no more.Service: Wheel alignment
