All staff members were so friendly and helpful. Our repair was done earlier than anticipated. Communication was clear and prompt they sent routine updates via text and called to keep us apprised of the timeline for repairs. Truly, everyone was so kind. It is rare to have such a positive customer service experience as this one. Will definitely return with any future repair needs.

This location was my saving grace. My car was a part of an insurance nightmare and Gerber Collision Germantown helped keep everything manageable. Their communication is what sets them aside from other places. Their GM Chris goes out of his way to make you feel special and he will make sure that you are in the best of hands. Their front desk has some wonderful people well. I had the pleasure of working with Megan who was always patient and kind. Joel was my MVP. He dealt with all things insurance for me. He went out of his way for over a week to call me with updates and advocate for me whenever needed. He prioritized communication and customer service. This business cares about their customers and goes out of their way to advocate for their needs. I would recommend this business to anyone and everyone!!!!

I had a really great experience here with my Ford Edge, which was completed ahead of schedule! During the whole process, I received text updates and an estimated completion date at least twice a week.. Everyone here is so nice, especially my advisor Harry and front desk person Courtney.The body work done is impeccable!

This establishment was recommended by my insurance. I had front end damage. The customer service was not up to par and there is still notice of the repair my front end is not flush with the rest of the car. Which is noticeable if you you look directly at it from the from the front. They had the vehicle for over a month and I am not too happy with the results. I only chose the because of the insurance but I don't think this would be my first recommendation.Services: Painting, General repairs & maintenance, Body & Trim

Joel and Cristina were very helpful throughout the entire process of the repair of my car. My experience was just excellent, excellent service. They were so kind and accommodating. I will definitely return to this shop for any future repairs. I highly recommend this shop! During the process i was consistently updated on my car by Joel! My car was ready 10 days before the promised date!!! Thank you for all your hard work and thank you Joel and Cristina!

Great job with the paint match on a black vehicle. I had to bring it back for a few minor corrections, which is not uncommon. The shop was very accommodating and has my vehicle back to OEM spec.

They are very unprofessional still have my daughter s car over two months and insurance isn t covering anymore. Didn t give curtesy call to say Asher two weeks they hadn t even touched the vehicle for an estimate for the insurance. So when she said they were rude, I called. Between dealing with this collision center, Allstate and Enterprise would not recommend. You pay and pay for coverage and when you need the assistance to fix the damage you didn t even cause you can t get what you need in a respectable and timely manner.

Gerber Glass did a terrific job repairing the damage from a small accident. The customer service rep, Monica, is a great asset to this business. She kept me informed at every step. Gerber Collision & Glass Germantown treated me right! From the moment I filed my accident claim and selected Gerber as my repair facility, they kept me informed throughout the repair process. The did my estimate the same day, gave me a time to drop off my vehicle, called Enterprise Rent-A-Car for me when I dropped my car off and had my car back within 5 days. Best part, my car is good as new! They even cleaned both the inside and outside of the car, giving it the "new car" smell. I could not have asked for anything more. I would definitely recommend Gerber Collision & Glass Germantown for any accident repair. They are great!Service: Body & Trim

My Toyota Prius was the victim of a deer hitting it in late November, damage was bad, needed a new hood, headlights, cosmetics, a lot of components underneath needed to be replaced. I came to Gerber because it is an approved bodyshop through my insurance. The people who run Gerber are very professional, gave me regular updates through email, and voicemails, it was at least every couple days that I received a notification from them with an update. I was able to pick up my car earlier than expected, and the car looked almost nearly identical as to when I picked up from the Toyota dealer when I originally bought it. I would recommend Gerber Collision to anyone, they do amazing work. To the team at Gerber Collision, thank you for fixing my car and doing an excellent job!!!!!

Excellent workmanship and customer service. I was very pleased with the work they did to repair the front bumper on my vehicle. I had a great experience with the Gerber Collision team at Germantown, MD earlier this year for our Honda Accord Hybrid 2020. The store owner/GM Mike, estimator Harry, and admin Courtney were very professional, thorough, responsive, and friendly. I was also very impressed with their work on the car and came out with a positive experience from this team. Recently, we had to take our car again to this shop, unfortunately the customer service has been very poor this time. The car dashboard warning lights came up within a few days of the service. We took the car to their shop, the service lead Chris mentioned they can fix this issue and need to order the radar sensor part from Honda. It has been more than 3.5 months and we are still waiting. Chris says he had ordered the part, however he had ordered the wrong part two times or, now he can't find the part that Mike had received from Honda or, Mike is not available and we need to wait till he comes back. We have been waiting for this issue to be fixed for a while now. I am concerned for the inconsistencies in Chris's response and lack of customer service empathy and understanding. I am writing this review for loosing my trust of a great service provided by the Gerber team earlier. Our car dashboard still shows multiple warning lights of system failure.Mike called me following my above review and advised that this part was in back order and now Gerber has placed the order to be delivered around Oct 27th. Mike will give us a call once the part is received. I am surprised to learn that this part was in back order after 3.5 months. We are hopeful for an effective resolution around Oct 27th.[Updated on 11/08/2022] I did not get a call from Mike as of Oct 27th. I ended up calling Mike following week to get an update. Mike mentioned that they do not have the part (radar sensor). Mike called Honda while I was on hold and after sometime he mentioned that Honda gave them an updated date early December. Mike mentioned that earliest they can get the part and fix our son's car is December 16th 2022. At this time we have been waiting for the part for more than 5 months. Now, I am very concerned about the reliability of the Germantown Gerber Collision & Glass shop. Our car dashboard continues to display multiple warning lights of system failures such as break system failure, collision mitigation breaking system problem, adaptive cruise control system problem, road departure mitigation system problem, etc. We are hopeful that Gerber Collision & Glass center will be able to fix these lingering issues.Service: Body & Trim

Highly recommend. We have used them several times for auto body needs and they have been fantastic every time. They make the experience as easy as possible, are very professional and do great work. Courtney was great to deal with on the phone and making appointment and then once I got there Michael and Shant were fantastic to work with. They were very helpful and professional and do great work. Very pleased and happy to recommend.

It is unfortunate that I have to give a bad review. My sweet mother came in there to get her car fixed through her insurance. She comes back a couple days later to pick up her car and the battery is dead (she got a dent fixed, so nothing to do with the mechanical side). When she approached and told the manager about it and to ask him to fix it (since the battery died in the their shop) he was extremely rude. When she said she would wait until he fixed it he was smug and told her that eventually you ll have to leave to return your rental so you should leave. I m saying all of this in a nice way. He was so rude to the point of making her cry. When she went to our personal mechanic to tell him what happened, he calls the manager here. When he asked why he made her cry he just hung up the phone. Then our mechanic tried calling him several times and the manager kept screening the calls. Anyways highly DISCOURAGE anyone coming here! And if you re the manager reading this, shame on you.

I brought my car in because the back up sensors were not working properly. When it was very cold or rainy out when backing up the sensors would make a shrill sound. This was my only problem. I was told by a garage that it looked like I got hit in the left rear bumper so of course it was assumed that was the problem. I told this also. I also told them that my sensors were after factory sensors. They knew all of this. They told me they were going to look at the car to see if maybe it could be fixed without replacing the bumper. They gave a quote for a worse case scenario which makes sense. I made an appointment and was told it would be 2 to 3 days before the car would be ready. Not Once did I get a phone call. In fact when I called and talked to Mike he said he would check into the parts and would call me back. 6 and a half hours later I called him only to find out he never checked. He said he would call in the morning. Never happened. I needed to call him to find out about the parts. No one told me they could fix it and they needed to replace the bumper. I found that out by calling after 2 days. They never once said they needed to put the old sensors back. After picking up the car and paying 500 dollars, less than quoted and drove the car did I realize the sensors were still acting up. They had the nerve to tell me they saved me money. They did not they reinstalled something without telling me. When I called to say the sensors were still acting up, Mike told me he put the old sensors back. He also told me to bring the car back in which I did, only to have him tell me I needed to go back to where I got the sensors. Why did I have to waste my time and gas to have him tell me that. He could have told me that over the phone. They could have told me that on the first day. I didn't need to replace the bumper at all. It didn't look great but it was working just fine. They were fine from honest with me. Not sure if they treat every customer this way or just women. They need to be honest with a customer and inform them. Pick up the phone and call them. They failed because they weren't honest.Service: Body & Trim

The staff is very pleasant. They keep you updated every step of the way. The staff knew my insurance didn t cover rental services so I was paying for my own rental car. They did a great job on my car and had it finished in less than half the time expected. Thank you guys at Gerber Collision and Glass for getting car back so soon and looking great!!!

I had to have the rear bumper replaced, everything at Gerber was professional and very easy. My car looks like new, they handled payments through the other person's insurance and my car was washed when I picked it up. Not only were the people who I interacted with at Gerber Collision in Germantown professional, but they were pleasant and light-hearted which made the whole situation very comfortable and I would say enjoyable. I was very impressed with the final outcome of all the work. And surprised that the car was completely cleaned inside and out which leaves a good feeling with your customer when they get in their car after the completion of your work. Thank you very much for all you've done and I will hardly recommend your shop two others who are in need of your services.

Shop Wouldn't repair and refinish my SUVs bumper because it wasn't an insurance job. I guess my hard earned money isn't good enough to pay for a repair...I was in no hurry and would have gladly waited weeks if necessary.

Outstanding customer service. I recommend highly. My vehicle was returned after an accident looking just like it did the day I purchased it from the dealership. They also did an excellent job keeping me informed of the status of the repairs so I never had to call them. Great, outstanding, and committed to servicing their customers. I can t say enough good things about them. I would tell all my family and friends to go there. Take your vehicle there- I don t think you would regret it.

The woman at the front desk is welcoming, polite and provides excellent customer service. I was quoted a week for repair work to be finished - it took 3 days. Also, the estimator was thorough and explained the estimate in detail.

One of the best car repair facility in this area. Initially, I was hesitant to take my car to this shop but I am glad that I did. They have an excellent service, second to none communication plan, and delivered my vehicle ahead of schedule. I visited this site for two different vehicles and they consistently delivered an excellent service.

Excellent and very honest firm. When Nationwide totalled the car she drives illegally since they did not request the approval from the owner so I threaten to have the police to come to the impound that they use to get my car back and delivered to Gerber and they fixed everything and after a year the car is up and running without a problem. I will be taking the car back to them next week so they can do changes in the car since my daughter is starting her own business and she can't afford to buy a new car. This is a place that you can take your car for any work and be sure that they will do a great and honest job.
