I took my Tesla model X here that I needed to get a Maryland state inspection before I registered the car. They were very helpful and quick! I will definitely come back to this place in the future and recommend them for anyone looking for a state inspection for their vehicle.

This is my go to place for state inspections - they are thorough and fair. I took my car here recently to get the tires rebalanced because it was shaking really badly on the highway after a tire shop did a really $hitty job. These guys balanced all 4 tires in just about half an hour and did an amazing job! I might start taking my cars here for other repairs as well even though they are a bit far from where I live.

I used to have positive experiences with this establishment when I initially started taking my cars there. I found them to be fair and honest in the early days. However, as their business expanded, I noticed inconsistencies in how they treated customers, handled pricing, and performed their work. The growing sense of being overcharged led me to cease using their services.Recently, I sent my daughter with her used car for a tire repair, and they offered to conduct an MVA inspection since it was necessary. To my surprise, they failed the car for multiple reasons. The estimate, which took them two days to prepare, came back with a hefty $4,000 for all the suggested repairs. When I reached out to the previous owner of the car, he provided documentation indicating that the reasons for failure were merely an attempt to scam me for additional money. It's disheartening to see that such practices. I will not be going back.

These guys are excellent, family business. Detailed with their work. They do excellent alignments always makes sure they are right front and rear in spec. They perform test drive also to ensure everything is good!I've done MD, inspections, wheel alignments for all my cars here.Service: Wheel alignment

I have never been so pleased with an auto shop before. The owner of the shop, Sidney is a really honest and pleasant man. I just bought a car from a VA dealership 2 weeks ago and had to get it MD inspected since I live in MD. The car passed VA inspections but when Sidney and his team did the inspections, he found faulty engine mounts, leaks and huge holes underneath my car. He personally showed the defects of the car to me, before writing his report up as he wanted me to see it first hand and in person and I greatly appreciated that. He told me that my car poses as a significant safety issue and would most likely be expensive to fix. He then said that he would talk to some of his guys and get a quote for me over the next few days in order to fix the holes at the bottom of the car. My experience with Safety Car Auto Services has been really good so far and I will be a repeating customer.

I am not happy and yes because they didn t pass my tint I wouldn t have cared about my tires but really. So becareful coming here for an inspection..

We brought the vehicle in for a rough running engine and oil sensor issues. Safety Car diagnosed the problems, made the needed repairs and we were highly satisfied, as usual. Our entire family, including extended family such as several cousins, all bring our vehicles to SafetyCar and would never trust anyone else to provide such honest, fast, quality service. Sidney and his entire crew are top notch! They are always ready when we need them

Called at 9am to request an appointment for that same day, and they were able to fit me in at 10:30 am for a Maryland safety inspection. Inspection was done very timely 1 hour and 15 minutes. The reception area is very nice and has free wifi! Great experience and I would highly recommend.

My family and I only go to this auto place for our cars. For sometime this place was our second or third opinion place when we felt that a different auto place was trying to BS and get some extra money out of us.Eventually we saw that this place has always kept it honest, so we made this our #1 place we go. The staff and owner Sidney are very professional and always let us know what needs attention/what can wait or not wait to be repaired.I always recommend this place to family and friends!

Sidney provides amazing service! They explain everything and don't nickle and dime you. I have a used car and he's the only mechanic I trust. I even brought my daughters car from UMD/Prince George's county to Sidney. The waiting is really comfortable with t.v., wifi, coffee, tea, water, and snacks. I highly recommend them.

Came for an alignment and it was done quickly! Also replaced some fluids in my car no charge! When you go there ask for Junior. Great customer service and I would recomend for anyone looking for a technician to work on their car.Car: Volkswagen Golf 2001

Poor customer service!!! I got yelled at for calling to get an estimated time of when my car would be ready after its been there for two whole days. Took my car in for a busted brake line and they called me with a $800 bill!! I'm so upset with this place. I will never bring my car back. 24 hours after picking my car up, my brake line busted again!!!

I came in to get tires mounted and balanced on my 18" wheels. I called ahead, and got a very fair price. Service was fairly quick, staff was pleasant. However, they scratched all 4 wheels. The balancing weights also came off when I washed the wheels. After seeing my e-mail and calling them, they immediately offered to have the wheels fixed or even order new wheels if the damage was irreparable. They were very professional about it, very respectful and polite (despite a bad review I had written), and apologized. Sidney himself apologized and was very polite about the situation.I definitely feel that this is an honorable place where the owners stand for their work. They will make sure that the customer is happy, no questions asked. I will definitely come back.

These are honest guys, I brought my 13 MDX to their shop for safety inspection, they found a nail in the right rear tire and offered to fix for 30 bucks, when they tried to repair they found the nail was superficial and just pull it out without charging me a penny.
