Beware buying Groupon with them. If they are busy, they won t provide a service if you have a Groupon. They will ask you to come back another day. They will say they have can t do oil changes even though you just heard them call a customer to pick up their car after their oil change was done.

Three days in a row, they couldn t do my oil change. Day one, after being left on hold for over five minutes TWICE, the third call the person answered and I was told they close at 6pm but if I got there by 4p, they would change my oil. Got there by 4pm. I was told they closed at 5pm and they couldn t change my oil because they were booked up. That guy then told me to come around 2pm the next day they could do it. I said what about 3pm? He said yes. I was there at 2:25 pm the following day and was told they were booked up. Today, day three, I called. It s 3pm. Long pause, then was told they re booked up today. I also notice that online they close at 6pm. I would really hate to think that he just didn t want to service me, for whatever reason, but this is poor service. If a customer comes in two days in a row, then hold a spot. His demeanor was very dismissive. But I tell you what I WILL NEVER PATRONIZE ANOTHER PRECISION TUNE IN MY LIFE! And I WILL share this experience with my 1K s of family, friends and followers!!

I've been using these guys for 7 years. they are amazing and easy to work with. prices are fair, work is always correct. they even take their time to see if your parts are under warranty! I won't go any where else as Long as I live in the village

These guys always go above & beyond no matter what it is & not just 4 me, but 4 all their customers. Here's just 1 example...For months I tried 2 reattached my front bumper to the driver's side wheel well plastic flap without success & took the car in 4 some mechanical repairs. A week or so later when going over a speed hump, I noticed that I didn't hear the bumper scrap on the asphalt like it did prior, so when I got out, I took a look & noticed it had been reattached. They not only fixed it 4 me without me asking them too but they did 4 free and never even mentioned it.Wow, guys, thanks for taking such good care of me !!!

Useless useless useless place. I wish there were zero or even negative stars in google rating.Pathetic customer and overall service. I haven't seen such a rude person as Brian at the counter. Go to this place ONLY if you want to waste your money and time.I still have the same problem in my car for which I left my car there. I clearly mentioned every detail. They could not fix the problem and instead replaced another part which was totally irrelevant. I was given a 620 dollars receipt and I was threatened that they will not leave me until I pay. Cannot regret more.

I had a very routine oil change done here; three days before a 200+ miles trip to Pittsburgh. There was no driving of this car in between the oil change and the trip. One third of the way to Pittsburgh, when I hit 70mph - I heard a blood curdling banging from underneath the car. I pulled over and saw something flapping underneath. This being Friday afternoon - I could not find an open garage nearby. Knowing at this point our lives were not in danger, I drove with blinkers on, and at 30mph, 7 miles to the nearest town for, with the constant banging and dragging underneath. In the town I bought zip ties, and tried to secure what I now know is a splash shield. Unfortunately - it popped off quite soon. So - on to the next town in another 5 miles. There I was more lucky with very strong duct tape. Understand that with access only to the puny jack in my trunk - I could only do so much. Then - on to Pittsburgh for another 150miles, with blinkers on all the way, and speed of 45mph. So instead of an under 4hr trip - this took around just under 7. Of course, I had to take care of this in a more secure fashion - as I needed to get from Pittsburgh back to Maryland. So next morning at 7am - on to a 5-star auto shop in Pittsburgh which we have used before. They took the shield off, said it is damaged beyond repair and reuse - indeed, it was all banged up, ridden with holes. They confirmed that there was no doubt putting the car together after the oil change was the culprit. So, I was able to drive home without the splash guard, and on Monday I call Precision Tune. Of course, they did not sound happy, but said something to the effect "stop by, we will take care of it". So, I did the next morning. Well, this is where my one-star review comes from. After all - anybody can make a mistake, especially if you are working with your hands. It is how you address it that matters. They put the car on the lift and call me in to look underneath. They tried to convince me that oil change had nothing to do with the problem. I pointed out that it would be an incredible coincidence to have this happen within three days; and the splash shield is obviously affected by how you put things together. Then they offer me to put the destroyed shield back on the car as a way to fix this! I politely disagree. All of a sudden they start raising their voices, accusing me of trying to get their money. In an aggressive tone I was told that I was making a scene, and had to leave immediately. The very notion that a sixty-year-old me was the aggressor, in someone else's garage, surrounded by a bunch of young guys with tire irons - is beyond laughable. It is because of their behavior AFTER The fact - I recommend to stay away. And also - I got quotes around town for replacing the shield, and will be out $350.UPDATE: do you see the "response from the owner" to my initial review, with all those soothing words, and the suggestion for me to reach out to Darryll, the Area Rep, for help sorting out this issue? Well, just for laughs - I did. Yep, you guessed it - no response after one week. Oh well.

I consider Precision tune because of the reviews in my local area. I called ahead of time before arriving thank god I did. I spoke with BRAD. I told him what I needed done & he flat out told me no, that he wouldn t touch it because he knows it s the transmission for sure. I explained to him how simple & easy the fix was because it s all over YouTube. I just didn t want to get my hands dirty removing an air intake to get to the part I needed replaced. Instead of hearing out the customer he felt offended that I explained to him what I needed done Brad said he s the expert. I decided to visit the mechanics around the corner instead, my cars is fully running with no problems whatsoever, Brad woulda have costed me hundreds of dollars all because he s the experts all it took was 50$ part to fix my problem, maybe get someone else to pick up the phones I m sure it s a good shop but dude was just rude an ready to cut corners Instead of using his expertise an actually viewing the car first instead of being prideful.

The worst place do not bring your car here!!!Disgusting customer service and horrible overall service. I haven't seen such a bad mannered person as Brian at the counter. Go to this place ONLY if you want to waste your money and time. They will do everything to make you pay a price you did not agree on or make you wait over 4 hours for an oil change.They are the worst save your money. Go somewhere else!!! Believe me

I highly recommend this shop. I had an issue with my sunroof and the dealer parts were on backorder indefinitely. Shawn helped point me in the right direction to find the parts myself and was able to install them for me. The people here feel honest, knowledgeable, and capable while also being far more reasonably priced that the dealership. This is easily now my go to mechanic for all maintenance and repairs on my cars. Thanks again for the help!Service: General repairs & maintenance

The white guy at the front counter is rude as several other customers have pointed out. Rude on the phone and even ruder in person. Don't know how these kind of people are allowed to be the face of a business interacting with customers.

I came in here in the morning for an oil change and they said they had no room in the bays. They don t take appointments so it s first come first serve so I would have needed to come at like 7am. This place fills up! I didn t know what time they opened and I came at 11am. I was honest and said that it was the only day I had the freedom to get it done and he took my car in thankfully and completed it. I left it there all day willingly because he was so nice to take it when he didn t need to. I called before the shop closed out of respect to check on it (so I wouldn t have to bother him during the day) and he said my car was ready. That is great service and I got SUPER lucky. I d recommend you NOT call the shop, at all, and just come in as early as the shop opens to get your car worked on. I went there on an emergency basis and he did me a favor but I felt bad I didn t come earlier!! I ll know next time. These guys work hard so bring your car at your earliest convenience but don t expect them to take your car at any time, the earlier the better, and if they are busy, respect them because these guys work hard. Great work, friendly service. I needed an alternator and battery replaced and took care of everything quickly. I was able to work remotely at the Starbucks in the same center while they worked and all was done in less than 3 hours.

Yesterday, I went to Precision Auto thinking that I could trust anyone other than Shaun. The request was to replace two head light bulbs which I supplied myself. Now, my directions were so clear that even a 5 year old could have followed them. Adam at the desk was told that the light was out only on the left side of my vehicle, but I wanted the right one changed also so that both would be the same. The bulbs that I brought to the shop cost me about $34.00 and Precision was charging me $60 to put them in. These new bulbs called Headlight-Xtra Vision were to give me wider range down the road. When I came home from work I really thought nothing of it, got some rest and almost forgot to test my lights out. Well, when I turned on my lights I realized that they changed the wrong bulbs because I now had two out instead of one. So, I decided take my vehicle on the darkest road in Gaithersburg where there were not light to see if there was a difference and nothing had changed at all! Not one thing was different. Questions were not running through my head, did they really change the bulbs or use the ones that I gave them? Did they really think I or my husband wouldn't notice the difference? Did this happen because as a woman just maybe they thought I didn't know better? What happened to the bulbs that I gave them? And, where are the original working bulbs that were taken from my vehicle? How was it not obvious to tell which bulbs were not working by just turning them on? And, if they had turned them on before doing them why didn't they know which ones to change? I left a message yesterday wanted to speak with Shaun only! Not trusting that I will be there as soon as they open up! 12/3/1912/9/19FOLLOW UP!When this all took place I spoke with Shaun he seemed to be very supported and we BOTH decided that I would bring my SUV back to the shop today which is Monday, 12/9/19. Well, I was running late and decided to call him. I asked him how long would it take and with a not so pleasant voice he said "a long time!" I said " I thought we made an appointment" with his NASTY SELF! He a said "WE DON'T MAKE APPOINTMENT!" I could tell that the conversation wasn't going well because of the TONE in His Voice. During this point I decided to tell him that it was okay because I wasn't going to argue with him about a SIMPLE MISTAKE THAT THEY MADE. He then told me not to bring my SUV in and HUNG UP THE PHONE!. They didn't take the steps that they needed to complete the job right or correctly. He is the proof! Precision Tune Auto Care not only did they not do the job right here is why: First, I brought them two New bulbs that had MORE DOWNROAD VISIBILITY. Second, I took my SUV down a road without lights and notice that the right headlight was much brighter then the left one, Third, called back to Precision to tell them what I had noticed and requested old bulbs that were taken out, Fourth, next day picked up the So Called Old Bulbs and realized that they were two different ones. Fifth, the bulbs came with a Red Rubber Ring around them but the two that they gave me back, one black and the other red. They messed up and now I have to fight for that $60.00 service that was NOT properly rendered to me as a CUSTOMER! Auto Mechanics already have a bad reputation. Why not make things right. Co-Worker recommended this shop. THEY WILL NEVER GET ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY TO TAKE MONEY FROM ME AND I WILL SPREAD MY EXPERIENCE!

This review is long overdue so I will take my time to breakdown my experience with this business- I do not recommend this place at all when it comes to customer service. I called this shop because I needed a tire replaced, I usually go to the dealer but I m thinking why not support a local business? On the phone, the guy sounded so helpful & told me to bring my car in. When I arrived, the customer service changed in person. Why though? The service I received on the phone was completely different, they were no longer friendly & clearly did not want my business. Honestly, maybe they treat each customer different? I kid you not, the entire time all they did was complain because I had a warranty contract for my tires that take care of almost any damage. If you bought a warranty from the dealer obviously its to use it, especially for emergencies like this one. Prior to bringing in my car, I explained that I had a warranty & was told they would honor it however they kept saying things along the lines of we aren t really making a profit out of this at drop off & pick up directly to ME more than once. So I m assuming customers that pay full price get good service? You would think taking care of the customer s needs is the most important thing along with offering great service? But no. What customer wants to hear that? Just fix my car so I can be on my way, customer service is definitely lacking here. I was just relieved they were able to fix my tire problem, even after thanking them at pick up I was just told again that they did not make much out of servicing my car. If I could rate lower I would. Probably one of the worst customer service that I have ever experienced. The guy at the front was so rude as he was already arguing with another customer upon my arrival. I just needed to drop off my car for an oil change and this was within 40 minutes of them opening. He said he was going to be another 20 minutes with the other customer but I had to be somewhere else and could Wait that long. I just needed to drop off the car. I ended up having to leave and go do what I had to do. I was back within 30 minutes. After coming back the same guy told me that they were now booked up and could no longer take my vehicle. These people clearly don t value other peoples time. This was one of my days off that I could actually get my cars oil changed. I had bought a Groupon but thankfully was able to return. Took my daughter's car in late on Friday because she had been driving with the check engine light on for 3 days(of course). Spoke with Brad who explained that they were pretty busy today but if I brought back on Monday they would do the diagnostic and we would go from there. Dropped the car off Monday morning, received a call within the hour and he explained the issue they found parts needed and cost associated with the repairs. Car was ready to go by 2:30pm, he explained the warranties and the cost was reasonable (no one likes paying for repairs lol). I had better service here than I've ever gotten at a dealership.Side note: I may have gotten the representatives name wrong. I suffer from CRS.Service: Engine repair

I went for a transmission flush and they told me i need a new radiator that they cant do the service.. so i said no.. they told me to take out my trash (car) somewhere else.. they became rude cause i didnt want to do the +2k repair they said i need, i got the service somewhere else with not a problem.. (radiator was good) this place is TRASH. DONT GO TO THIS PLACE..

I m a happy customer have been coming here for years when I worked close by. In my new job I still drive here as I trust Shawn and his team. They are honest, reliable and get my cars fixed in a reasonable time. First time I called, the person answered like they were answering their personal cell phone. It was completely unprofessional.My mother went to get an oil change and was using a groupon that I sent her via screenshot. She was told that it would not be accepted and that the groupon app would need to be downloaded (This was not said to her nicely/professionally, I overhead the character over the phone). I get that there are rules to be followed and I have no issue with that. The issue that I had is that the person helping her had a very condescending and sarcastic tone. I will only use my groupon for this business only because groupon will not give me a refund. It is a shame I bought two because it seemed to be a good deal. Anyway, if you want respect and not be treated like you are a burden... Do not come here. Hopefully, their competence far outperforms their professionalism.Service: Oil change

They do good, honest work for a very fair price. The tech's appear to work the counter which is great because they can give you a very quick assessment of any issue. This is the only quick service shop that has highly skilled and knowledgeable employees in the area. For most standard services and repairs I would highly recommend this shop. There is a Starbucks a few shops down the street where you can comfortably have a coffee/tea while you wait.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Have been going to this mechanic since 2016 and I am extremely satisfied with their services. I have even moved miles away from Germantown but I still drive the distance to them to get my car maintained. They are honest and they treat customers very well. Their prices are reasonable and they always deliver excellent service. They serve a significant female population as we ladies can definitely trust them! (This is the honest mechanic you are looking for ladies!!! Cant go wrong with them!) Kudos to Sean, Dan, Adam, Paul! Thank you guys for the excellent work you all do! Stay blessed!

Great location! The guys here are attentive and helpful. The prices are fair, and I never feel pressured to get additional work done if they find stuff that needs to be repaired. They are knowledgeable and straight forward with their assessments. They get busy, but these guys work hard to get your car back to you in a timely manner.

I've been going here since I moved to MoCo at first because they were convenient and then later because of the excellent service I've always received. Shaun can be counted on to discuss multiple options for repairs and his team does good work. I took my car yesterday for a oil change, The person who was at the service desk didn t smile nor even once. The service was fast , but when I opened my car , it was completely dirty in the inside. My car has very light color interior, the same is the leather. (The previous week I spent 2 days cleaning my car) so I know it was clean before I brought the car in. They cleaned the car the best they could, but this is not acceptable. I will not be back . Cars should be protected if employees with grease all over their clothes will be driving the cars.
