The team at GAS has always been a pleasure to work with. I have now entrusted both my work vehicles and personal vehicle to them, and always with great results and fair price. Jamie and his team are always professional and explain in detail the required and unrequired services. I've been taking my Mustang to Jamie and the guys for the last several years. They do quality work and have always taken care of me. They've worked with me through modding my suspension and various other things. They know what's important to the customer and are upfront and honest. They've done great alignments for me to my specifications. I will continue to go them and will recommend them other people. All the techs know what they're doing. You'll be in good hands with these guys.Thanks Jamie you're the man!

I highly recommend this shop! Even from my initial phone inquiry after a failed state emissions test, Jamie asked specific questions about the codes that were popping up and immediately had ideas for possible solutions. I could tell this shop was more knowledgeable than the others I had contacted. After dropping off my vehicle, I received timely calls with updates throughout the day to keep me in the loop. The price was very reasonable and they had my car fixed within a few hours. I worked primarily with Jamie, but the entire team was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I will definitely use them again if I'm in need of auto repairs.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I marked everything, I could think of that Ralph and I come to Jamie and John for. I highly recommend them for any service you may need on your truck and cars. They do good work , they are honest and the prices are good. These guys are simply wonderful! They are honest, competent, fast, and understand what customer service is supposed to be. I have an older car with 130,000 miles on the odometer and it runs like it is new. They have serviced my car since it fell off factory warranty and I could not be more pleased. It is a small operation so you'll always know the person you are dealing with. Once when I was in a fender bender they made an excellent referral for body work and the repair was done quickly, flawlessly, and within my insurance allowances. Their preventive maintenance I'm sure has saved me lots of money and lots of grief. The best thing to me about their operation is that they are scrupulously honest and trustworthy. I thought at one point that I needed an expensive repair and they talked me out of it and instead did an inexpensive adjustment which worked just fine. Highly recommend these very skilled and decent mechanics.

We've been taking three (3) vehicles Jamie and his auto-mechanics for 10+ years. These gentlemen provide exceptionally work and have always taken care of vehicles. General Automotive Service Center provides what is important to the customer and they've always been upfront and honest. My husband and I will continue to bring our vehicles to this shop and hve commend them our friends and families. They were very polite and professional. They did a great job on putting new brake pads and rotating the rotors on my vehicle for a reasonable price and in a timely manner. I highly recommend them for your auto repairs.

As a certified ASE Master Tech and ex Maryland State Safety inspector from the 80's, I personally have very high expectations for the work done on my vehicles. Due to health issues and logistics, I haven't been able to do my own auto repairs for many years so I had to find someone that I could trust to do the work per my very high standards and General Automotive Service Center (GAS) fills that void. From the front desk (Jamie & Pat) to the techs in the back, you can rest assured that you're in good hands. I'd also like to mention that John not only does my service work, but he is also a passionate Jeep Junky that can offer 4x4 services beyond what you would typically find at the average repair shops.Also keep in mind that this is a family run operation, and honestly, they have treated me like family over the years, and for this reason, I have recommended this shop to many of my neighbors over the years whom to this day continue to bring their cars here.Thanks GAS for your professionalism and A+ workmanship!

Extremely impressed with the customer service and the speed at which they work to get my vehicle back to me. I feel they are upfront, honest and they charge a fair price for the service/repairs they provide. They do great work and I will continue to bring my vehicles to them for service and repairs!

The guys at General Automotive have always been honest, upfront, and accurate with all issues my vehicle may have had. I trust them to do what needs to be done to my vehicle and they always come through. I have been coming here for five years and I don't plan on stopping.

GAS is, all things considered, the best auto repair shop I have ever been to. John Linsey is the rarest type of human being: a totally honest mechanic. He works fast, gets it done right, and his prices are good. Not so cheap that he has to cut corners, but that's better, right?

Jamie (I really hope that's how you spell his name) gave me the best service I have ever received at any auto repair place. I definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone. These people are great! Literally the second I pulled up, Jamie was already outside helping me. I'm definitely going to come back in the future!!!

Just good people...The operative word is Trust. When you take in your car for maintenance and repair, you can be sure you will get only the highest quality service... no bogus repairs, no cutting corners. If they find a problem, they call to explain it. They make no repairs without a customer consultation. General Automotive is the epitome of reliability, expertise, and excellence. Five Stars all the way!

Awesome shop. Staff is super nice and they know what they re doing. Brought a trailer in for inspection. One of the brakes wasn t working from a seal failure, and in less than two hours they found/installed a replacement and had me inspected and back on the road. Definitely recommended!

If you want an HONEST and KNOWLEDGEABLE mechanic, look no further! If you are a business owner with a fleet of trucks or individual, this is the place to go!After getting an incorrect diagnosis at another shop, I brought my truck to General Automotive where it was properly diagnosed and fixed without the unnecessary parts the other company was trying to sell me!!!
