I m really happy with the work that was done on my car, it took a little longer than expected and I definitely started to get a bit impatient but the guys here were all very professional and helpful any time I called/emailed asking for updates. Paul was in charge of my car and he was very helpful. My car was cleaned so well inside someone found a pair of tweezers I lost months ago and left them on the back seat for me! Haha. They were even kind enough to reattach my license plate the way I had it. Only thing that could be better is the blonde woman that works there may want to just stick to I m not sure, let me find out/have someone call you back when she doesn t actually know something. She made it sound like I owed over $900 when I called the day my car was ready and that absolutely wasn t the case. When I asked if I should call my insurance before making the drive over there she said I mean you can if you want to ??? Paul called me back on my way there to clear up the confusion about payment. Anyway the work on the car is the most important thing in the end and I would still highly recommend this shop.Service: Auto body & trim repair

Couldn't be happier with Fitzgerald Collision Center in Gaithersburg! Gary Huss was so helpful, honest and great to work with. My car looks brand new and I will definitely refer all of my friends to them in the future!

The Fitzgerald team always takes great care of me and my car! It was in the shop for a month, but Isaac gave me weekly updates and Jonathan at the front desk was very friendly and informative during the whole process.

I ve been meaning to leave this place a good review for a while now. The people who work here are genuinely the kindest I ve ever encountered at an auto body shop. I ve brought my car here twice due to a Hyundai paint recall and both times received a quick repair. They even went above and beyond to touch up the paint on my scratched bumper (for free!), which meant the world to me since this car is my baby and I wasn t even the one to scratch it, so it was really bothering me. It meant so much to me to have the bumper touched up and looking almost new again. That alone was such a refreshing act of kindness, and it has only been one of many I ve experienced as a customer of the Gaithersburg Fitzgerald Collision Center!Service: Painting

Duplicating since I have multiple gmail accounts and this place should be held accountable.They broke a side view mirror and then denied responsibility since I drove off the lot, I left literally 20 minutes ago. C est la vie. Don t go here, sloppy work if they are going to do damage they are confident you won t notice until after you have left the location. Cheers.

Update: March 2024 I took our car back to Fitzgerald Collision Center in Gaithersburg since they had done such a great job on another issue in 2021. From a few years ago to now a lot has changed (and not for the better). My car was repaired by them only to have to be replaced-repaired two other times for the same issue and it s still not fixed. I will not use this place again. It s a shame because a few years ago they were great.They did an amazing job fixing the fender bender on our vehicle. They were the only place from three estimates that noted the front bumper required calibration with the crash detection system to make sure it works properly in the future.

Gary is by far the best collision center manager I've encountered. He did an outstanding job arranging for the painting of my vehicle.Paul also did an outstanding job scheduling and updating me on the status of my vehicle.

Went to repair a broken passenger window, Job was done right and very neatly! It was way more affordable than Safelite. After picking up my vehicle, the car mat area was dusty , went back to request some wipes to clean it myself but they sent their guy to clean it for me. I think the staff from the front desk could be a bit warmer/friendlier but i understand that they dont owe me anything. would go again but next time i will keep my expectations low.*****update******Got a follow up call which will definitely makes the experience better for next customers! Thanks for reaching out.

Gary is the best. He was upfront and honest with me from the very start of this process. He did an awesome job on my car and I would definitely recommend him to my friends and if I need any work done on my car in the future, this is where I'm taking my car. Have had two separate repairs here. Two separate appointments are needed, one for estimate and the other for service when there is availability. At times they are busy in the year and it can take longer for an appointment. Have had dent repair with painting and a smaller dent repair with buffing. There was some over spray post paint service but the shop personnel were kind to buff out the spot for no charge. Painting required for the car to be dropped off for a week. Smaller repair of a dent with buffing is a one day job with a specialist. Overall good service, friendly staff. Prices are reasonable depending on service and wether using insurance or out of pocket. I would recommend the shop and be back for more service should it occur.Services: Auto body & trim repair, Painting

On 23 May 2023, I went for initial inspection by Mike Shannon at Fitzgerald Collision. I made a deposit of $400 for a replacement passenger side mirror. It was mounted 2 days later to make the car driveable. An appointment was made for 3 July 2023.On 3 July 2023 at 8 am my car was dropped off at Fitzgerald Collision for body repairs.In summary, the Rav4 was at the Fitzgerald shop from 3 July 2023, until 8 August 2023. In that time I only received one call from Fitzgerald. The repair work was excellent, but repair updates are virtually non-existent. The lengthy waiting time of 41 days for a repair appointment, and the repair completion time of 37 days is far to long. I want to thank Ryan for going above, and beyond with replacing a damaged piece of console trim in the car. I recommend the shop, but be prepared for a long wait for repair completion.

Had an excellent experience with the body team. One of the joys of owning a Hyundai Elantra, aside from its well-known security vulnerability that already cost me one window when would-be car thieves tried to bust into my car, is the horrible paint. My car developed a chip the size of a dinner plate practically overnight (is it even a "chip" anymore if it's that large?)Of course, Hyundai only wanted to pay 50% to have it repaired, but the Fitzgerald team worked with Hyundai to have them cover 100% of repairs - what a relief! Gary took great care of me, worked to get it all covered, and kept me informed every step of the way. They even finished the work faster than expected! Although the collision center is slightly out of the way for me, I would definitely add on a few extra miles to take advantage of their exceptional service (although I hope I won't be needing them again any time soon, no offense!)Thanks a lot, Gary and team.Service: Auto body & trim repair

Beyond a doubt the best service I have ever received at a car center of any type. Communication was constant. I was always informed of what they were doing to my car. This is very important and so often overlooked by companies these days. They were extremely honest. Fitzgerald put me first which is usually just talk from a company but was shown true by their actions. Hats off to Gary and his team. If I ever need that type of service again...even though it's 50 miles away, I'm going there.

I got rear-ended 2 days after buying a new car. Fitzgerald Collision Center were really great in getting it fixed quickly and professionally. They worked directly with my insurance and the loaner rental and kept me updated on progress. Gary (the Director)... excellent service and friendly. I almost felt like I was talking with family. The team did an amazing job on my car due to a Hyundai defect in the original paint. There service was so good that I would totally take my car back to them if needed.UPDATED - they put my key lanyard in my center console. Unfortunately I missed that when I wrote my original review. Excellent service, they even called me to tell me that it was probably in my center console and I should check. Sure enough it was there.Service: Painting

I could not be happier with the excellent work and result in getting a few dent from my Tundra bumper. It took a little long to receive the parts, but I do not remember that because the perfect restoration done to my Truck. Great service! Honest workers. They could ve made up something like I needed a new bumper since I realized after I bought my used car that the bumper wasn t in line. I took my car to get them to look at it and diagnose it. They just said it was misaligned, popped it back into place, and didn t get charged. You don t find honest people like this nowadays. Highly recommend them.

Absolutely the best! They made things so easy for me.. I dropped my car off before work, they called the rental car company to pick me up, and even allowed me to drop the rental car with them when my car was ready for pick up AND on top of quality, and efficient work they even replaced my door handle! I pray i don t have another fender bender but if I do I know where I ll be going for my repairs! Thank you for making things so perfect and easy for me

Someone rudely scratched my almost-new Subaru in a parking lot and left no note, so I took my car to Fitgerald to see what they recommended I do. They were not at all pushy about their recommendation (in fact, one person said he would do nothing!), but since I was so upset about its being a new car, decided to replace one part that was badly scratched and repair the painted part myself. They did a wonderful job, and it was extremely reasonable, I thought. I really appreciated their honesty and kindness in this situation!!

Excellent and fast service. Fitzgerald Collision Center dealt with the car manufacturer on my behalf, and dealt with the warranty claim from the beginning to the end. The paint job was fantastic. Overall customer service was outstanding.

I was pleased with the finished product but the reason for needing my car for over two weeks was because they needed to order parts. When I picked up my car, it turns out they did not order parts but instead banged out the ding in the fender so I was confused a to why it took so long. They were unable to wash my car due to an attachment on there (which was confirmed and I was totally ok with it) but I was told my car was instead wiped down. This was apparently not done as there were white specks all over my car when I picked it up and when I wiped them off, my car was seemingly covered in dust.

They did a great job with a paint issue on my Palisade. Gary kept me informed periodically by email and calls regarding the status. When I picked up my car It was cleaned inside and out.Great place!Service: Painting

They have had my car over 3 weeks and close to a month. Despite they were full due to a lot of customers needing their services, my car was worth the wait. They were VERY communicative, they kept me updated and always answered my calls or called back!
