Although being a new customer to Andrew Yate s automotive, I have found them to provide excellence service at an unbeatable price. Provided me detailed maintenances, services, repairs of my vehicle via text and video. Even went as far as informing me of any additional steps, repairs, purchases needed prior so that I m updated with the progress of my vehicle. Highly recommended for anything regarding the 2.5RS and any other vehicle of the same platform, I can safely say I m in good hands and will be coming back regardless of where I am.

It is crucial to acknowledge that Andrew Yates is the authentic "Andrew"tech. The current crew at Andrewtech do not possess previous experience in working on Subarus. Yates possesses remarkable integrity and demonstrates a deep level of commitment and knowledge in his industry. He will offer clear and succinct information about pricing and provide experienced guidance on the most efficient tactics to accomplish your desired results, whether it is for improving performance or regular maintenance of your Japanese vehicles. He has a minimum of 25 years of experience, if not more, in the jdm field. He has serviced several of my automobiles, ranging from 2002 to 2024, and each vehicle I bring to him leaves in optimal working order. I am appreciative that I managed to find him, but regrettable that my discovery was a consequence of terrible experiences I had with Andrewtech, his previous business. However, I am really satisfied with his skill and am delighted to have developed a favorable relationship with a mechanic of his expertise. He will serve as my permanent mechanic for all Subaru-related matters.

My experience with Yates Auto in Gaithersburg, MD, was nothing short of exceptional. Brought my 2008 Forester XT to Andrew for a full drivetrain swap. Andrew is nothing short of fantastic as as his employees. The whole job only took a little over a week and Andrew was honest and clear throughout the entire process. Fantastic shop!
