Had a great experience. Went when they first opened not realizing you book online now. They still promptly changed my oil and I was out within an hour. The staff was incredibly helpful.

I ordered some tires online for my car to be installed at the Germantown Walmart, but when I showed up at 2:00 for my appointment, the appointment was somehow lost. They were unable to get me until the next week. Knowing that there was an impending snow storm, my girlfriend suggested that I call the Frederick Walmart and ask if there was any availability. They said that while it may take longer, they should be able to help me as long as I brought the tires from Germantown to Frederick since they were already paid for. I brought the tires over and with the help of Ashley, Jean, Robert, and O'Neill, I had my tires installed and ready to go in 1.5 hours. I cannot thank them enough for their willingness to help me in a tough situation that the Germantown location put me in. I am incredibly grateful for the team at the Frederick shop.

Very slow service. An oil change taking 2 hours when there was 1 car ahead of us also getting an oil change? No thanks. I ve been staring at my truck for the past 45 minutes with no one working on it. Go somewhere else.

Very slow service, 4 people working and one car oil change in 3 hours, no idea how corporate continue their operation, most of the time employees moving in slow motion to pass time, it is better to close this, so people can go to another place to save timeService: Oil changeService: Oil change

I will not give them even 1 star.Very lazy staff. I came in with used oil just now, they have 3 people on duty, non can collect the oil, they want me to come back tomorrow? Just to drop the used oil. I will talk to the manager, This store is not seeing me buy engine oil or and auto product from them for the next 5 oil change. IF YOU CANT COLLECT USED OIL, I WILL NOT BUY OIL FROM YOUR WALMART AGAIN.Laziness has no excuse in business.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I was really stressed today because I m making a big trip out of state and my tired really needed to get changed and asap because I had little time in my hands. Even though they were super busy and had appts they did everything they could to help me out and get those tires on my car. Their customer service was amazing! Big thanks to the manager Willie for making it happen as well to Singh and another young fellow that was with him when I first arrived! He told me his name but I forgot I m sorry! Thank you once again best service I ve received ever especially at Walmart !!!!

The technicians were courteous, professional, and very helpful. The service was performed within the expected time period. I was very satisfied with the quality and price of tire chosen. I also had all four TPMS replaced and program. I will be a returning customer and would strongly recommend to others.

Spent 45 minutes trying to return a battery while 5 employees stood around while dealing with another customer having issues. Wasn't expecting Walmart to make me regret getting out of bed today.

This Walmart s auto center is suboptimal! I asked what the wait was on an oil change and the employee working the desk replied well (long pause) I don t know how long you ll have to wait. Might be 1 hour or 2 hours or 10 mins but you ll definitely have to wait . I asked if he knew how many cars were in front of me. This dude looks outside and goes No, that s about all I can tell you you re just gonna have to wait . I ve also frequently been turned away if it s within 3 hours of closing time (turned away at 3:30 when they close at 6)All I m saying is that the Mt Airy Walmart auto center is 100x better. Even the mega Walmart auto center off 26 is better. Never going back here.

Just avoid Walmart auto center all together. For all the hassle you will have to deal with is not worth the little bit of money you save by using them. I purchased tires online on a Sunday, scheduled for instal for the following Saturday at the end of the week. They called and canceled my appointment saying their machine was broken. I tried to reschedule and they said that I couldn t because they don t know when the machine will be fixed. In the next couple days I went into the store and asked about this. They said they have one machine working, I asked if I could reschedule they said I couldn t schedule for Saturday instal until Friday????? That makes zero sense, so I tried again Friday I called in. They said their machine DOES NOT EVEN WORK FOR MY SIZE TIRES. I had confirmed with them multiple times if it was the correct size machine and they had said yes it was. Now I ve wasted 3 weeks riding around on my spare tire. Even picking up the tires I had purchased to take them elsewhere for instal was a huge hassle, it took them 30 mins just to allow me to take the tires. Employees all complaining, one came in and started cursing then told me that being a mechanic makes you an angry person .I am a 135 pound female and I loaded all 4 tires by myself with no help. Absolutely ridiculous how they treat customers.

Got my oil changed September 2nd. Their hours are 12 to 6 on a first come, first serve basis. Got there at 2pm and had to wait patiently until 4pm. Not complaining. They did well and gave time for us to shop. If you plan on getting an oil change. Definitely come as early to 12 as possible.

The thing with Walmart is, it s hit or miss. I tried this location because the other one had a 3 hour wait. This one was maybe 40 minutes. They had more people on staff; whereas the other location did not. I came for an oil change, which is the only thing I would trust Walmart with. Don t come to do your tires. That s where people end up with problems. My suggestion is to always call and ask how many technicians are on staff at the time and ask for the wait time, before you head over. Just makes it easier on yourself.

Arrived at 5:30p center open until 7. Told on the phone 90 min wait and our tire size in stock. Arrive and tech says 3 hrs. 40 mins later they don't have the tires. Ask if a different tire could be done. Told not enough time. Sent us away with bad tires to continue our drive home. :-(

Engine air filter change- FREE (U only have to buy the filter ~$13) vs $26 Jiffy LubeTire rotation- $10 vs $30 Jiffy lubeSynthetic oil- $50-$52 vs $65 from Jiffy Lube (can get $10 online coupon for Jiffy but they don't automatically apply it).The waiting times at Walmart might be crazy but show up before open if u value your time/make appointment online.WALMART HAS WON MY HEART AGAIN!!

Don't waste your day. Always have had good experience with walmart tires but service moves a crawl at this location. My vehicle was the only one in the tire bay and waited over 2 hours for 4 tires to be installed.

They called me to reschedule my appointment then I come on today that they scheduled me then they tried to say they didn't schedule me that day they couldn't find my tires that I ordered and it said my tires were delivered to the store the guy was very unprofessional tried to tell me that he didn't have time to do my tires it was just all out awful experience I will never go there again

Went in without an appointment and took care of me with in minutes obviously it wasn't busy but great experience normally I deal with discount tire but didn't want to drive almost 45 minutes to get to one

I have a one star because I couldnt put negative stars. I came in for a nail in the tire. 2 hours later, still not ready. There was no one ahead of me, so they couldnt use the "were busy" line. Horrible service, definitely not coming back. I guess I really shouldn't be surprised its Walmart.

They are very unprofessional. They don't have a lift suitable for German cars and they didn't know how to use the small jack to lift one side of the car to fix a tire. Very bad experience.

It looked like Walmart hit a snafu today and had problem with scheduling enough staff to work and troubles with their computer system and having enough paper copies of work order forms to compensate for it. After waiting 40 minutes to find out if they could even change the oil, I ended up leaving when I saw the manager rushing off to find a working copying machine.

Dear walmart auto, I waited for 2 hours in the lobby after the work was completed. None of your employees had the decency to tell me the work was done until I ask. Got to do better!!

The giy who initially took my information outside had absolutely no customer service skills. Seemed to lack any knowledge of what he was doing. Made me stand outside in 100 degree heat. I was there over three hours.

Backed up till end of day but does not accept appointments. The advice given to me in a manner that barely qualified as human interaction was to come back tomorrow at 7:00AM as if I have nowhere else to be on a Monday morning.
