Been coming here for a few years. Consistently solid experience. Today, Chase and Howard were fantastic getting me squared away with my Aqua 26 (not 24 wiper blades). I ll be back for my next oil change in a few months.

After my daughter went there for an oil change where receipt claimed that they check tire pressure 2 out of 4 very low, no where near 35psi. That in itself not a big deal but really makes me question the quality of their work. Not sure if we re going to trust them with our vehicles going forward.

Don't trust the mileage reminder sticker they provide for your next oil change. I was given one that said I needed to get my next change in 3,000 miles, even though the European synthetic blend my car requires is rated for 10,000 miles.With that being said, I haven't noticed any issues from the oil change itself

Noticed today the forward RH underside splash guard of my Murano hanging down, bent back from where it caught while backing up, and the fasteners missing.Googled a YouTube video and imagine my surprise to find that this is removed during an oil change and your establishment has been the only ones to conduct the last several oil changes.Translation.....you broke the fasteners and let it go out the door like that.UPDATE: I called them up, explained what happened and they told me to stop by. They repaired the mistake without any hassle.Thank You

This place is terrible. My mother came here because her AC was not working correctly. When the lady came to us, she started to do a engine check. She took some part off and then she told us to get a another part that they didn't have. We left there and went to get the part. Came back and then the engine started to overheat. We told one of the employees and he took a look. Then they said they couldn't do anything about the problem. Then we couldn't even drive the car and had to get it towed. They did something to the car and they will pay.

First visit. Interesting experience. Big plus for how quick and easy getting the oil change was. Be sure you check their website for discount coupons to store on your phone. We saved $7 on the oil change. Another plus: they did quick safety check of the wipers and all the lights on the car. Naturally, their objective was to sell parts and repairs, but it was a useful action on their part...

If I could give this place no star I would. Its unfortunate too, I've gotten my oil changed here plenty before and never had this kind of issue. I got my oil changed on a Monday to get my car ready for a road trip I was taking Friday. It went normal though thinking back I wasnt shown my oil filter with the date on it. On my way home from the oil changed I noticed smoke in my rear view mirror I thought no way, that cant be my van I just had it serviced...maybe the driveway I was passing was grilling or burning something. Tuesday on my way to work again I saw smoke and called my husband. Checked my oil dip stick when I got to work and it looked like there was too much oil. Smoked sporadically all week. Friday we leave for VA. 20 miles from our destination the check engine light starts flashing of which means pull over immediately, turn the vehicle off and get it towed to a service station. Here we are on the side of the road with a baby and a toddler in the back seat.....the problem? 4.5 its TOO MUCH OIL IN THE VAN!!!!! They never drained the old oil. We had the excess drained (pic) and its black. This was maybe 160 miles since I had it changed. Not sure if oil gets that dirty after that many miles but I dont think so. We called Valvoline and the manager said he watched the videos topside and bottom and the old oil was drained and it was changed correctly. I didnt realize a correct oil change caused smoking, double the recommended oil, and a massive headache! I will never take my vehicles back here and I dont reccomend anyone else to either. A simple apology with I cant believe that happened how can we help would have gone a long way. Google what happens when you have that much excess oil in your vehicle. Yeah that's what I'm dealing with.

I like their service, but I feel trapped in the car during the service listening to the sales pitch for the many other services I didn't come.for or ask about. Just give me my oil change. Thanks.

Had me in and out pretty quickly. Staff was friendly. It was a bit pricey of course, but considering I got it done immediately rather than waiting for a week+ for all the local mechanics or paying even more for a dealership, ill take it.

If i could give this place a 0 star I would, they messed my car up. I have a 2021 Volkswagen and it needs European oil . my car was perfectly fine and running perfectly fine. I came here for an oil change, TODAY, July 10,2023. I turn off my car as instructed they drain and fill it with the new oil. they finish and tell me to start my car. my car won t start . then one of the employees were so rude to me. i was telling him my problem and he was telling me , move your car i ll get one of the my employees to move your car it s a european car what does the european in the car have to do with anything ? if you cannot do oil change on a specific car, just tell me that and I ll go somewhere else. Why is he talking to me like that? you guys caused this problem .. His name was CJ. I recorded the whole incident on my phone and I told my lawyer. I come here all the time and the fact that an employee had the audacity to talk to me like that astonished me. I am a customer, don t talk to me like that. None of the other employees bothered to make sure I was ok. EXCEPT 1. Everybody else looked at me clueless. I called a tow truck and as the tow man is towing the car CJ is just staring. he was very racist towards me. Now my car is at Volkswagen to get checked on. Then they charged me extra 15 for extra oil charge what is that?? They are scammers and rude I am so disappointed. I would ve been more Ok if the employees admitted their wrongs but none of them even said sorry. Everybody makes mistakes own up to it. But none of them cared and they only wanted my money. I work hard for my money as a black woman.I will be calling to speak to the manager because he needs to do something about this before my lawyer does. Money down the drain, towing fee, volkswagen diagnostics fee. I will NEVER come here again. People be beware.Service: Oil change

It was terrible! Ive been going to this valvoline since it was opened and I ll never go back!! 22 years! I was denied the $15 discount the mgr said the card had expired - but they are mailed to me once a month and I didn t have un updated one!! I m obviously on the mailing list because the discount cards come in the mail monthly?? I deserved the discount regardless!!! If everybody else gets I should get it card or not!!!?? Valvoline is clearly desperate for money!! Guess what that $15 the mgr threw me under the bus for just cost you a lifetime customer w three vehicles a hole lot more than your $15 saved you losers!That s how you treat your clients a man like me??? And I ll give horrible reviews about that location to anybody and everybody! Thank you

This was a fast ,firat time stop ,I dont live there ,But it was a very nice place , these guys are so pilot and nice , and all work together so nicely IT WAS VERY NICE TO SEE , I couldn't believe it , I was in and out in 15 maybe , sticker on window and off I went thanks guys , Lady with the PRETTY CHEVY !!!!

Always a great experience whenever I come to get my oil change. Oil change is always done quickly. Techs will make suggestions but are never too pushy about trying to upsell anything.

Took a bunch of stuff apart and didnt even put all the screws back i have screws just sitting under the hood. Overpriced 120$ for synthetic oil change tech didn't really know what he was doing it took 45min then they say I should come back in 3500miles when synthetic should last about 8 to 10,000

I ve recently started using this place for oil changes a few months ago. I love how fast and convenient it is. The only issue is I wouldn t get wipers here. My last time I went I got a new back wiper for my SUV, because I m not sure how to change it myself . I don t know if they had put the wrong one on or didn t put it on correctly, however it has scratched up my whole back window. I don t even use the back wiper anymore to not scratch the window more. Not to mention it was like a $35 wiper. I should of just had someone else do it. As for oil changes I love this place.Service: Oil change

So it was my first time to Valvoline (I normally go to Pep Boys or Jiffy Lube). As soon as I pulled up, I got to stay in the car while they did a regular oil check. The service was super fast. In and out in less than 15 minutes, if not 10 minutes. The staff was super helpful giving me a printout of the items that needed work that I was not able to take care of at the time. They were very friendly, and even improved the ties holding the Christmas wreath to the front of my car. It was a very relaxed environment which I appreciated. I will continue to have my vehicle serviced here. Thanks so much guys!

Great service. Went above and beyond with helpfulness. Other than changing my oil in under 10 min, They asked if I was military to offer me a discount(which I am) and I appreciated. They also offered my kid a coloring book to distract.him during a small screaming episode. Great people this morning.

Valvoline staff is well adapted to current COVID-19 restrictions. They are always professional and courteous. They make their recommendations for services in way that does not feel like they are up-selling you. They are quick and methodical with their work. They work as a Team to get their tasks completed and get the customers out in a timely fashion. I highly recommend this location for vehicle maintenance and service.

Did a good job on my oil change, but I asked if they checked the quality of my transmission fluid and Coolant. Upon asking i was told it was good quality, but its been about 30k miles since the fluid was changed for the transmission. And when I got home I checked the fluid and it was not at all the color it was supposed to be, this place is good for quick oil changes but thats about it.

These guys know what they are doing. Always take care of my cars professionally and quickly. They actually work to find ways to save me money. The last time I was there, the Manager pointed out a special offer that saved me $60 on a transmission and transfer case service for my Jeep. One of the best businesses in Prince Frederick.

Quick and courteous service as always. Kyler got everything done perfectly! Definitely my favorite drive through oil change in the area. Took less than fifteen minutes but didn't feel rushed.

Expensive for oil change (thus three stars), however, I treat it as we are also paying for a service of timeliness with decent, transparent work.PROS1. Time: Depending on when you arrive, you may not have to wait to be serviced or it will be a short wait depending on how many customers are in front of you. 15-25 minutes to complete basic oil change.2. Transparency: You remain in the vehicle and are being informed of the simultaneous work; you can see some of the work being done by the service representative, technician, and mechanics. You will also be given prices to aid your decisions.3. Access: Simple, drive-in, drive-through, drive-out. Someone guides you.CONS1. Price: Very expensive. Most of the work I do myself but, again, this is a "chain" and business in capitalist America tend to focus more on getting $1000 from 1 person per visit rather than $10 from a 10 people or more. In my own business, I believe in having to make profit to live but also to truly help and encourage people to come back and recommend others.IN CONCLUSIONThey are good. It is expensive but, the area is also a higher income area compared to the country as a whole. As long as we pay, they will charge it lol and well, the cost-risk-beneift, was worth it for me this time.

I go to both the Lusby and Prince Frederick Valvoline for service and have since they opened for my Jeep and Focus..Quick service, they also do suggestive sell based on what my car needs but do not push and I appreciate that. Will continue to have them take care of my cars and will recommend them to others.

I have a 2019 Chrysler 300 that I have taken to Valvoline in Prince Fredrick md every 3000 miles. The last time I had them do a boil change they left all the bolts out of the plastic covering and it was wedged in my inner tie rod. I took it to the dealer and they had to order a new one. 318 dollars it cost me not including the rental I had to get. I called and went to their shop. They said the manager would call me. He hasn't. Don't go there for service.

Just had my last bad experience there. This has happened three times in the past two years. I drive a fleet vehicle and my fleet company only allows oil changes. So when I go I very clearly make it known that I only want an oil change. There is one guy (I believe somehow he was promoted to be a manager) with a red tattoo on his forearm that works there that always tries to push more services through the system without asking me. They never get approved and I make that clear but he says he has to recommend them. I never have this problem with any other tech than him. So even after telling him again that I only want an oil change he doesn t seem to have a firm grasp on the English language and says he s required to push these services. I am not saying I won t use valvoline again but I can say that the prince Frederick branch is poorly ran and will not return.
