I told them exactly what problems I was experiencing and they ignored all of my input before convincing me I had a problem with my tire rods. They told me the car would run like new after they were done working on it. 1200 later and I had a car with loose lug nuts on my tires and I m having to get my engine completely replaced. Had they listened to what I had to say and actually checked the things I was concerned about I m sure more could have been done to save the engine. Very dissatisfied with every bit of their service and their inability to listen

I have been servicing my vehicle at Reeds for many years. Wes, Chad and his team are truly auto experts. Since I tend to keep my cars for many years, it s important to have trust with your service providers. I bring all of my cars to Reeds and will continue to do so happily. If you re looking for a fair deal and expert service you could not for any better than Reeds. Highly recommended!!!

Very solid quality work here at Reed s! They will tell you how it is & not try to upcharge you like most other mechanics. The owner Wes is a great guy to work with! A++++ will continue to use Reed s Auto for a long time! Thank you so much for your help on my vehicle

West and his staff are extremely knowledgeable and professional. They care more about the safety of the customer then they do prices. My car had a serious issue with it cutting off in the midst of driving it. Very dangerous! The other mechanics could not figure out the problem. West figured it out right away and was very transparent about my options. They always take good care of my car everytime I come there with great care! I've been using them for years and I trust Reeds to do the job efficiently!They haven't failed me not once even when I've change cars they take care of all my family's cars all makes, models! If you want high quality work, professional handling and great respect especially important for the female customers. I've never had any issues while driving my car after Reeds fixed or did maintenance on my vehicles! This is the place for all your car care needs! The owner West and Chad are honest and true car "Whispers!" They can diagnose a car problem in a matter of minutes!

Best shop in town! Wes and his team are honest, professional, and always willing to work with my schedule to have car repair or service done. The first time I brought a car in, I told him I needed my front and rear brakes replaced. Wes looked at it and said that only the rear brakes needed to be replaced, the front had 10K miles left. He could have just replaced all the brakes but he is 100% trustworthy to do only the work that's needed. We also have him check out any used car we are thinking of buying. All of the ones he's checked for us have been good, solid cars. The one we did NOT have him check out turned out to be a really bad buy. Lesson learned. We won't take our cars anywhere else - and once you've been here, you won't either!

Great service!! Had a flat tire on the worst weather day possible!! They repaired it immediately for me without hesitation! Had a wonderful conversation with the owner while tire was being fixed!! Thank goodness I was in the right place when my tire pressure alert went off!! Didn't know how I was going to get back to DC safely! Thank you Lord for this divine protection and service!! Thank you guys for making me feel safe in the midst of the storm!!

My sister referred me to Wes, who she has been going to for over 15 years. She said he was very honest and fair in his pricing and that's exactly what I found. He diagnosed my problem promptly, told me of other concerns and gave me options on what to complete now. Very fair price and used the best parts. Said, using cheap parts don't keep customers. Definitely going back to fix my other issues. Highly recommend!

By FAR the best mechanical shop in Frederick! The dealer told me my car needed almost $2,000.00 in repairs, when I took it to Reeds they did only what was necessary and charged me less than $400.00. Wes and Chad are 100% trustworthy - They only recommend what needs to be done and do the work at a fair price. I will not take my car anywhere else but Reeds!

Taking the advice of a friend that referred me to Reed's, was a great decision. From the owner Wes, to Chad the mechanic that serviced my SUV, everything was straightforward, fair priced and professional. If you need a go-to mechanic you wont be disappointed.

The people at Reed's have always been friendly and honest. They only do work when necessary and let you know the low down. I work on my own car when I can, so I know when my mechanic is BSing me. These guys rock! Stay honest Reed's! The day you change is the day I leave and stop recommending you to everyone that needs a mechanic!I've been to multiple mechanics in the Frederick area. They all basically told me to change my headlight fluid and change my brake/transmission fluid after I just changed it literally weeks before (except Reed's). Reed's on the other hand has ALWAYS been faithful and honest.I don't personally know these guys, I don't even normally write reviews, but I felt it was due that I gave my opinion of this great shop.

I was having a transmission problem a guy at A gas station told me to go to REEDS AUTO CLINIC and ask for reed. He said he was the best and he is a very nice guy and he will help me. All I have to say is that he lived up to his reputation. He immediately heard me out, checked my vehicle, Drove it, and immediately serviced it on the spot. He treated me like i was a relative. when that was my first time there, ever. Am from New York. Been in the area for 6days. reeds shop is my co to shop from now on. Go there and find out for urself. I vouch for the shop..100% the best in customer service.Fyi: I commented before I read about others comment, and glad to see that they feel the same way too.

Wes and his crew are honest, reliable, and customer service oriented. I recommend him to all my friends, even outside of Frederick. They keep me aware of upcoming maintenance items, like brakes, ball joints, transmission services, etc so I can budget accordingly. I trust their expertise completely.

Had a 2007 Dodge Caliber with a hard start issue in the morning only. Sent it to the Dodge dealership and after two weeks and hundreds of dollars they had no fix. Sent it over to Wes at Reed's Auto Clinic and within 2 hours knew what the problem was. Great guy to deal with and knows what he's doing. If you want a mechanic and not a parts replacer go to Reed's. Best mechanic if Frederick. Thank you.

The owner takes a hands on approach to his business. The work is excellent. The diagnostic phase is the best I've experienced. This business stands behind its service. They are experienced in foreign and domestic autos. I wouldn't take my vehicles anywhere else.

I had an issue with my break pads and rotors. After a quick call, they had me come in right away. Within 2 hrs, they had taken care of my vehicle. I am looking forward to doing further business at this location.

Wes Reed, the owner, provides high quality service that meets the individual needs of the customer. He builds a history of your vehicle and only does work that needs to be done. Unlike the dealerships, Wes is interested in providing quality service at a reasonable price only when your vehicle actually needs the work done.

Friendly staff, helped me out when my car broke down right next to their shop. But $382 for a remanufactured starter is outrageous. I could have bought one brand new from Amazon for $65 or from the dealer for $100+. Add in the labor cost (which I'll say wasn't bad) I'm looking at $600+ to replace a starter. I know newer cars are a pain. But geez.

I recently moved to this area and had to find a new auto repair service center. I had a list of places to call but for some reason I picked Reed's. They wasted no time in allowing me bring my car in for repairs. They showed a lot of patience in explaining my repair needs and pricing. I am glad I found Reed's Auto Clinic. They will be my go to place for auto repairs.

These folks are a knowledgeable crew.Wes does really take the time to go over the detail of the job either over the phone or in person and they are darn honest about the work they do. I mostly work on my cars and if i cannot do it, The car does go to these folks.
