They are doing the tire and wheel install on my Caddy after a disastrous experience in Waldorf. The team is very professional and attentive to detail. I just had 3 tires and wheels mounted and balanced and I'm waiting on a replacement wheel and tire so I can return and finish the job. I truly do recommend Platinum motorsports for your custom work!!!

Made an appointment to get my trailer hitch installed on my Land Rover Discovery Sport, I went in at 10am they took my rite on time and at 1139 I was out the door going home. They did a great job installing the hitch I ve seen some pictures of other places and they really cut up the bumper. At platinum they have a nice clean cut, I would definitely do business with them again.

I have taken numerous cars to Platinum through the years, always good service. Tony and LB and other employees are very good. Recently my brake lights stopped working so I took it to Platinum. First appointment they accessed the problem. 2nd appointment my truck was there several days they could not get my existing brake lights to work so they ordered new brake lights for me. 3rd appointment I left my truck there for several days and had other install work done also which turned out great. However they could not get the new brake lights working and was charged for the brake lights and work hours. I felt they wanted to focus on other the install work rather than fix tail lights.

Amazing shop and an amazing bunch of guys, Super professional and absolutely stand by their work. I had a set of wheels custom painted, tires bought, mounted and balanced. Hassle free and the end result went beyond my expectations.

Fantastic service! Had windows tinted and it looks perfect! Also a headliner in a Cherokee. Good as new again. Definitely going back for more services.EDIT: Got windows tinted in Altima. Perfect!Now getting Kenwood entertainment system. DRL's and lot of other LED lighting. Will post more pics laterAnother Edit: Amazing install of LED's, fog lights, and switchback daytime running lights! Will does amazing work!Another Edit: The installer Will does it again! He installed Bluetooth controlled RGB lights and a JBL subwoofer. Everything is perfect!

Had to get my window tint removed for the MD inspection (RIP) and these guys were extremely friendly and professional upon setting my appointment and checking in. Definitely a place I would recommend for all services!

They did excellent service. I got a 5 all the way around my car. They talked with me about the ends and outs of legal tinting etc.....I shopped around before I came here and they are reasonably priced. Plus they don't sell the cheap tint that most shops like putting on car and charge an arm and leg for.Good quality products with good pricing.

I bought my 2019 Ford Fusion here in 2020. I tinted everything including my windshield.The reason I'm leaving this review now is because I just bought in my new car, and I realize I never left a review before.The tint job I had on my old car is still just as good as when they first did .They walked me through everything and made sure I was happy with the results of my current car I will be coming back here.

I got my windows tinted a year or so ago and had vent shades installed the other day. I had a great experience with Platinum and I would recommend them to anybody.Great work and good prices.

I went in yesterday and as soon as I walked in I could feel it was a very friendly environment. The two guys I talked to were very respectful and friendly. The first time getting my windows tinted and my experience was great. Very good price and they did an amazing job. The guy even called me to again to make sure I get exactly what I wanted. You can tell they have been doing this for awhile and that they love what they do. I will go back and I will recommend this place!! Great customer service. Thanks guys for making my first experience a great one!

I make the drive from DC to come here for tinting. Pricing, quality and customer service are always 11/10. Highly recommend to anyone looking for tinting services!!

Recently had my 2013 Ford Explorer at the shop for an amp and speaker install. The woman at the front desk was extremely pleasant to deal with from my very first phone call. The tech I spoke with and paid my invoice with was also very nice and courteous. I felt like I was in great hands from day 1 of my call. My appointment was perfectly timed and the price was reasonable. The install is gorgeous. Very clean. And the sub sounds amazing. Would recommend this place to others. I'll be back in the future. One very happy customer.

Platinum audio is the best place I know for anything I do to my car audio and visual. There work is outstanding and on point. They are very knowledgeable and very experienced. I've had subs installed twice I have two amps installed. I've had window tint done custom vinyls made and installed. Staff is amazing as well as there work. I will be getting leds done and a few other things in the next couple months. Thanks guys

I am writing this as a non-customer because I was never able to get anyone at the shop to install a single item in my vehicle. I went into the shop twice and both times asked for a simple estimate and date for install and both were ignored. It has been over a month now and I figured maybe this review will get their attention. The second time I went in the owner was on the phone with a bill collector for my entire wait of over 30 minutes while I was attempting to get over $3000 of equipment installed in my vehicle. I just though it was very ironic that they would have a customer walk out the door for a second time while on phone with bill collector. Beware, the folks working there "trying" to sell equipment provide extremely high estimates and over charge for all in-store products and services. I highly recommend a better and more professional shop for any service you need done.Lastly, after reading others reviews it seems like it was a good thing I never got anything installed based on prior performance reviews. It appears that their grammar is a direct reflection of their quality in both customer service and workmanship.

I recently received my first car. I was looking to do a few upgrades to it. I have a Monte Carlo SS Supercharged and was wanting to install an aftermarket stereo. I have no experience installing stereos in a car. Doing my research, I found Platinum Sounds and Rims in Prince Fredrick. It was the closest and the best place for me to get my stereo installed.After reading all their reviews and seeing pictures of their work, I felt like I was in good hands. They explained how they would install the stereo and answered any questions I had. I was surprised on Christmas with the car stereo, and had an appointment to install the next day. It took only few hours and was done for a great price.Platinum Sounds is an all around professional and knowledgeable business. My stereo install turned out great, and you won't be disappointed with their work! I recommend going there for anything you need done to enhance your car!

I brought my 2018 Rav4 in yesterday to have my windows tinted. I had to ask a few times if they knew I wanted my whole car tinted after I was given the price for the tint (you honestly can't beat what I paid anywhere!!). It took them only an hour and a half to complete the job and the quality of their work is remarkable. I struggle with perfectionism and there was not one flaw I could find in the tint job they did. I would recommend this place over and over again!

Horrible service! Made an appointment 2 days prior to drop my car off for tint at 10am. Came back later that day after 5pm and my car wasn t even touched. Same guy tells me he s been tinting cars all day but when I walked in, he was busy trying to sell a guy some wheels. Asked me to leave my car there until 9-10pm and claimed he would have it done by then, no thanks. Thanks for nothing and thanks for costing me a half days pay dealing with you, Never again, take your business elsewhere.And to your response: I did drop the car off as scheduled when your shop opened, only to come back at the end of the day to find my car not touched. Like I said before, big waste of time and money lost on my end.

I can't say enough about Platinum Motorsport. They are very professional, trustworthy and experienced as it shows in their quality of work. They were polite and communicated with me on all the details of the service I requested. Was quiet surprised at their rates.. Very reasonable! Just had my wife's Kia Stinger tint installed. The techs, even Mr. Smith himself were very pleasant and helpful. Especially since I called in the morning and was able to get an appointment. Very greatful to the whole staff and also decently priced.

I was quoted one price by the owner then I went in and was charged double that price and they said they had no idea what I was talking about. I would imagine I'm not the only person they take advantage of. Not to mention, the work done was not great quality either. Strongly do not recommend.

They were my service center for Intoxalock and I had to get some equipment replaced. During the time they had my vehicle someone had blown dirty into my handheld unit and never bothered to tell me or rectify the situation. I found out when I received a letter from the MVA saying I had violated and they extended my term by a month.Thankfully I was able to prove my case and they nullified the violation but it still took my own time and effort for something that should never have happened. I would seek elsewhere if you need to get your Intoxalock equipment serviced, there is another place close in/near prince Frederick that offers mobile service.In response to the reply from owner:Yes you did install it, correct. When I brought it by to replace the faulty equipment after a few months, one of your employees blew dirty into my unit. If I was able to get it expunged from the MVA then it was in fact NOT ME who violated it since I could provide proof of the work order and receipt.I ll also add that when I called and explained it, the front desk person said oh it s probably from when we calibrated it , no that s not what it was from since the handy dandy installed camera took a picture of your employee.Also, is that your professional response to a review? Very rude! Very unprofessional! One of the employees tried to fight me. I even tried to de escalate by putting the blame on myself. The employee still was agitated. Never will do business with them again. Poor service.

I cannot say enough about the excellent customer service I have received from Platinum Sounds and Rims in Prince Frederick. I purchases a JVC radio with GPS and a back up camera and had it installed in my 2013 VW EOS. I'm very pleased with the final product as well as the great deal on the price.The store was very busy when I came in. I was helped in good time and Tony was very patient with me as I am not very tech savvy. I was treated with care and respect and Tony was extremely knowledgeable about the products that would work best for my needs. What was a scary purchase for me was turned into a very pleasant experience. I highly recommend this business!!!!

LB got me in as a walk in the same day I picked up my wife's new Yukon, from the dealer across the street. He answered all of my questions and was pleasant to deal with, highly recommend to anyone looking for tinting.

Over the years I have taken 3 vehicles to Platinum Sounds for window tint, my most recent being today. As always, I am extremely pleased with the quality of their workmanship and customer service. The staff is very friendly and professional, as well as knowledgable about the products and services they offer. Additionally, the prices are very competitive and the work was completed in a timely manner.I would recommend Platinum Sounds to anyone for vehicle customizations.

Normally I wouldn t even write a bad review but what I experience here at Platinum Sounds in Prince Frederick, MD warrant me to and I definitely do not want anyone else to experience the unprofessional and ghetto experience I did.I went to Platinum Sounds in Prince Frederick, MD to have a new navigation system installed and put an $800.00 deposit down back in March 2015. I had an install date schedule for March 7th however, I called a few days prior to the installation and spoke to Josh and explain to him that I was in NJ and was unable to make my installation appointment and would have to reschedule for another time.Josh assured that it would not be a problem and to call back to reschedule my appointment, well I have been still stuck in NJ and unable to get back down to Prince Frederick so I decide today that I would call and reschedule my appointment. When I called, explain to the Tech that I put an $800.00 deposit down and needed to finally reschedule to have the navigation system installed. The Tech placed me on hold and said that is records show that all work has been completed.At this point, I am fuming and I said to the Tech you guys have not installed or completed any work and do you really think I would be calling in trying to schedule an appointment if the work has been completed. The tech placed me on hold and Tony the owner gets on the phone and first tried to tell me that his paperwork shows that the work was complete. Now, this raises a red flag with me because they did not install anything and why would the paperwork reflect work is completed. I said to Tony you guys did not install anything in my truck, and Tony says well I have to go back and look at the paperwork, DING another red flag if you just said you looked at the paperwork and it said that the work has been completed then why are you having to go and look at the paperwork.This is the problem you have when trying to support your local black businesses they lie, cheat and steal your money not saying that all black business run this way but I can definitely speak for Platinum Sounds in Prince Frederick, MD they do.Then Tony says well I need to go back and see what happen and if the radio is here I can mail you the radio. I said Tony I don t want you to mail me the radio just refund my deposit because at this point I am tick and do not trust Tony at all. Tony replies oh well I can t refund the deposit I need to first pull the paperwork and if the radio is here and been here then I would have to figure out what the restock fee would be because I am paying a fee to Kenwood for holding the radio at the store and would then have to restock the radio but call me back Thursday and I can let you know.I said Tony you can t look this information up in your computer system he says no I have to go back and pull the paperwork so unprofessional and ghetto. Now, when I first come into the store the receptionist said let me get your entire information log into the computer system and the receptionist needed the assistance of Josh to complete the order as Josh and the receptionist both said they needed to enter this information in the computer system in order to create the billing invoice.So with Tony telling me he can t look it up in his computer system and relaying on paperwork I can t understand and is straight up ridiculous. I have a computerize receipt to reflect my cost of for the radio and installation a grant total of $1700.00 minus the $800.00 deposit.To be continued under my husband name.

They have put tint on my last two SUVs and killed it. Everyone asks where it was done and how much it was. No one can believe how inexpensive they are for the quality you get. It takes awhile, so be prepared to take a nap or drop off your vehicle.

So after twice I called to confirm appt about my dodge dart getting tinted they said be no problem I drive a hour up there and then they tell me they can't because is not in the computer. Well how about being a true window tinted and do it how professional do it by hand!! Never go there or speak of this place!!!!
