Update- I have been requesting my payoff via email from Jeanne and Bruce since 3/20/24, and sent an email follow up almost daily. To date, I still have not been given my no penalty pay off. Upon further looking into this company. Take a look at their Google reviews (not the fake ones they post that have been reported), Better Business Bureau, Yelp ratings. Also, go to the everything Frederick Facebook group and in the search mountain motors. You will be appalled at how many people have gone through what I have if not worse.Absolute worse car buying experience I have had & learning lesson. Mountain Motors & the owner Bruce take advantage of people in bad situations financially and sell them vehicles that should not have even passed Maryland Inspection. He has hired his own personal Maryland Inspector who works there and passes all the cars. My 2007 Saturn Ion was sold to me with the check engine light on, front window would not go down, back passenger window would not go down, every time it rains massive amounts of water comes inside the car (therefore there is mold), the throttle body went out within less than two months, the fuel pump went out ($704 later), over ten different electrical issues. At no point have they tried to remedy the situation. Even now when I reach out to Jeanne, their financial company that is located at the dealership, that Bruce also owns, refuses to provide to me my no penalty pay off, stating she can not provide the amount in an email. However, I have several other emails where information has been provided by them. I have reported them to the appropriate parties in Maryland. If you go below, you will see there are tons of other parties that have had the exact same issues I have had, if not worse.

I spent weeks looking for a used car to purchase and went to several dealers. I ended up buying a car from Mountain Motors and it was a great experience. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable and made this process easy. No buyers remorse here and will be buying my future cars from this place!!!

This is my second vehicle from Mountain Motors, they are beyond amazing and treat you like family. I had my first car from them for 3 1/2 years and I just traded it in to them for a the vehicle I was looking to upgrade to. The process was so refreshing and just as smooth as the first time. They are understandable and reasonable they make you feel safe being a woman on a car lot not really knowing exactly what to look for. I recommend them 100% for a reliable safe and affordable. They have something for everyone and make it worth the time and drive there. Give mountain motors a try!

My sales rep Owen was so amazing! The entire process of purchasing a vehicle here at Mountain Motors was phenomenal. Owen went above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience from beginning to end. I was able to find a great vehicle and drove it off the lot the same day! Vehicle runs so great and I m happy with my choice. So glad I found Mountain Motors. My wife and I will be purchasing a second vehicle really soon. I highly recommend Mountain Motors. Ask for Owen he is the best!

AMAZING PLACE!!!!! Milu is such a happy person when I come in , she is always willing to help with whatever . This place is a great place to come get a card if u have bad credit or a low down payment. ASK FOR MILU TO PURCHASE A CAR YOU WILL LEAVE HAPPY & safe in a new car .

Hi my name is Miss Henderson I am letting everyone know please come to Mountain motors you will not regret it everyone here is wonderful I ve been coming here since my son was 15 years old and now my son is 40 years old and I am still a faithful customer with Mountain motors. Mr. Bruce is wonderful, he is the best, he listens and he works with you. he will just constantly talk to you until you figure everything out together, not as him telling you but as you and him talking to one another. the sales person s are wonderful they are always helping they talk to you they tell you what they think what you should do how do you should do it Also the finance department is wonderful I love them they always there for me every time if I m gonna be late they take care of me they tell me what I need to do also when you go to try to get your car fixed. I m gonna let you know it might take a while but they gonna make sure your car is fixed before you get your car back so on that note Mountain motors that s all I got to tell you. come to the Frederick Mountain motors. my name is Miss Henderson and that s my feedback

Mountain motors is wonderful...I been with the for 3 or so years. Always happy when I leave...just traded in our suv and they worked with us on the down payment for our new vehicle....love that place, great customer service. Lovely people work there... great friends

Worst place to buy a car I bought a car here and my break went out after I left this place n I m pregnant and I almost crash going down mountain the e brake still don t work n they say every 2 weeks to make a payment of 185 then out of nowhere they want to charge another 185 I payed 370 for the month of march and they saying I owe 185 for the extra week of march im so lost im e brake still don t work and the car power steering is still not working that started a week after I got my car and they won t fix it this place is a scam and they do fraud on there inspection they made that car pass there no way it passed with the rusty out brake lines it crazy i wish I never got this car

I don t see how the vehicle I got there passed Maryland inspection needed breaks, struts and shocks all 4 tires were bald and the spare tire isn t even the right on for the vehicle. They don t honor their warranty by days or mileage and can never get u in the the shop to get the car fixed in a timely manner The voice mail box for the shop is always full and NO ONE ever answers.They sell u a extra warranty but every time u call it never covers anything I needed a vehicle to go back and forth to work and all I got was someone one else headache I understand the word used but come on I should have to put paycheck after paycheck into this car week after week I needed something reliable. I will never go here to get another vehicle or recommend anyone either.

Bruce will go above and beyond for any customer. What s right is right and wrong is wrong but he treats every customer with respect and will take great care of you and make sure your car is taken care of. So will finance they will work with you as long as you communicate with them. Yes getting your car fixed might take longer than expected but they only have so many people working on cars and they stick beyond their word. Great people and highly recommend them. These other reviews are from people that get their cars taking for not communicating and all cars have issues used or new doesn t matter

The problem is that they have cars with Maryland inspection and a few days later the failures begin. They financed us a car with the alignment of the rear tires crooked with the engine light on with the passenger window motor that does not work with the bar. the front steering that when the car is turned the steering wheel thunders ugly even more so when you arrive the day they tell you to take it then they tell you that they don't cover that the only thing they cover is the charge they are scammers that will come to them later who puts them in their place for taking advantage of people who need a car

Was very surprised at the kindness and personal attention that I got at this mountain motors yes I would definitely recommend to a friend the young lady that helped me was very professional very courteous and definitely on top of her game I think her name was Mila Milo something like that my apologies for not remembering your name but you did a great job and I appreciate all your kindness and all your professionalism

If you re in a tough spot and want a fast easy and FRIENDLY process to get a car I highly recommend this business and Owen. Owen and Maui (sorry if I spelled it wrong) were both great and made this process very easy

Tameka did an excellent job helping me find a car in my budget with little money down! Also, the owner and the service department took care of our needs and backed up their warranty when I needed repairs almost a year later! I love this company! Bruce, the owner is amazing and definitely understands things happens! I respect the fact he followed through with his warranty on his vehicles!

Our experience at Mountain Motors was such a smooth transition from start to finish it was enjoyable. Our sales lady was so personable and professional. Such a pleasure working with her. I would recommend Mountain Motors. This is our 2nd car that we have purchased.

If I could give no stars I would. This place is disgusting. Horrible people service. Mountain Motors does not honor their warranty. They also tell you to take your car to a shop to be diagnosed . Then when something s wrong that they cover they tell you they need to see what s wrong before they cover the warranty! What sense does that make?! Then if you have you motor broke down to the bad part they try to make you pay for another shop to put it back together before they open it up them selves to see what was already exposed. Do not use this company. No matter how bad your credit. There are far better places.

I think the world of Jeanie! She is always there to listen and help guide us when we really need help no matter what the circumstance is. Thank you for your understanding and help throughout the years.Tom & Carrie I wish I could say this about everyone there but since we bought our Jeep January 21st, 2023. we have had it 2 weeks tops! We have been paying for a rental. Either want a different vehicle or our down payment back!!!

My experience at Mountain Motors was absolutely wonderful!! They were very honest and accommodating to our needs for a very nice, used car!! We dealt with this awesome young lady named Miyu!! She explained every last detail of the contract, warranty and how everything works! She had us driving out of Mountain Motors in an hour!! I highly recommend buying a car from here!!

Tamaka an her other sales associate, did the best they both work to get my wife a car , an was very patient with us after looking week after week for the right suv an calling in we got a perfect vehicle, what we were looking for. They called after it was on the waiting list an out of inspection, we will buy more vehicles from them, thank you guys very much.
