Made an appointment with them. When I described the symptoms he told me he believes he knows the issue and gave me a rough quote. Showed up on time with plenty of notice and had my mower up and running in no time for an extremely reasonable rate. Not to mention it s on-site service so no hassle of loading up, dropping off, and picking back up. I have several small engine machines and will only be using longs for my repairs and maintenance.

Longs small engine team showed up as scheduled and completely fixed my mower within 20 minutes and some fun conversation. Called to have Craftsman riding lawn mower serviced. Came out in two days by setting up a home appointment.Excellent service, very knowledgeable. Did a complete inspection and tune up of mower, along with oil change, new gas filter, sharpened blades, lubed joints, etc. Very professional job and he offered good advice at the end on possible future needs.Very fair pricing and nice owner. I highly recommend this small business and I am highly appreciative of the top-notch servicing of my mower. He will be my go-to guy in the future with any mower needs I may have.

Nice guys! Very easy to work with. Tries really hard to help you. I have an old (out of production) zero turn mower that I was having some issues with. These guys came over and fixed it. I had to call them back a second time. They ran to the local TSC a few times to get the correct belt and fixed the issue.Highly recommended!

I tried to call every motorcycle shop pretty much in Maryland . So i took a shot ,and called Longs Small Engine repair. And Bobby and his helper Mike came to my house , and totally rewired my entire bike . They got all the lights working , and controls. This was no small task. They also adjusted my clutch , which i tried a bunch of times to do . They did it in minutes . If you have anything with a motor , i am sure that they could fix it . The guys were super friendly , and were there on time . I will never call anyone else to fix anything that runs . Thanks again Bobby & Mike on a great job . They made it look easy . Trust me, if you need any kind of work done , do not waist your time , make Longs your first and only call !!

Bobby and his associate Mike came to my garage perfectly on arranged time, diagnosed non-starting problem with my Ariens snow-thrower, completely disassembled and cleaned carburetor and eventually revived my seemingly dead machine. The time between their arrival and my call was less than 24 hr. Considering convenience, short waiting time and tons of knowledge and good advices I got, the cost of service was better than reasonable. Don t hesitate to call/text Bobby if you have a problem with your small engine machine. Fantastic service!

These giys are amazing would not hesitate to ever use them in the future. They are my new repair guys for any small motor needs.Customor sat woukd be a 10 if i.could of gave them a 10 but since 5 was the highest thats what you got.Thanks again for your help...

Bobby was always keeping me posted with what was going on - Picked up and delivered my golf cart - Looked great, better than the day I got it - Had a small engine fire and he made it look pristine - Highly recommend.

Bobby is the first mechanic that I have ever had to pay more than he charged me. Due to no fault of his own we kept hitting roadblocks on the servicing of my "new" golf cart and at every turn Bobby was willing to work with me. After coming back to my house 3 times we were able to get everything taken care of on the cart and its been running fine since. He charged me so fairly that we had to give him a little bit more to what we thought was fair for his time. Top notch customer service, will definitely work with again.

I have a 21" 4 cycle Yard Machine snow blower. Had trouble starting. Bob and Mike came out the next day and repaired quickly. Very nice guys with reasonable fee for at home service. I highly recommend!

My push mower simply stopped running mid-mow. I did a quick search and found Longs Small Engine. I am extremely impressed. I received an immediate response and set up an appointment for onsite repair quickly. Extremely reasonable price and will definitely use in the future! Highly recommend.

Friends recommended Bobby to me. I was planning to call him for annual maintenance on my 2 mowers but a repair came up first on my Toro mower. I called him on Monday afternoon and had it back Wednesday evening with belt fixed and maintenance done. Plus at a good price. Will definitely use again and highly recommend.

Outstanding service, The technicians came to the house, diagnosed the issue with my snow blower and fixed it within 20 minutes. The cost was a fair price given the convenience. I would highly recommend using them to anyone in the future.

Friendly service from someone with both talent and enthusiasm for his craft. He diagnosed my mower in about 90 seconds, and told me how to fix it (which suited me, fine). He refused to charge me for the consult, despite spending about 10 minutes hands-on to confirm his diagnosis. In the end I had to demand he take the $20 I had in my wallet. I will definitely be back for any other engine repair needs I have.

I have a big box store push mower that a million other people have. Before I put it away last winter I was having some carburetor issues. I figured I would just buy another mower this spring, but called Longs before I gave up on it. Longs came to my house, fixed the carburetor issue, and gave me the "spring maintenance" package. The package included oil, plug, sharpened the blade, and air filter. I was very pleased with the work and the price.

This place is amazing. Not only will they come to you to diagnose and repair your lawn mower, but Bobby is so incredibly genuine, reliable and honest - he really has the customer's interest at heart. And, they really know lawn mowers!! So glad I found them!

After several failed attempts at getting my mower to work properly, I contacted Bobby. Even though his schedule was tight, he was able to diagnose the problem and solve it! Finally I will be able to mow without issues this season. Good help is hard to find but when you do, it's awesome. Thanks Bobby!

After repeated problems with another company in Mt. Airy, I called Bobby Long to see if he could help me fix the chronic starting problem I was having with my vintage Gravely riding mower. He was busy at the moment, so he called me back later to see if he could stop by to take a look. He stops by, diagnoses the problem immediately, examines my mower, and accurately gives me me the entire history of my machine like he is some kind of "Small Engine Sherlock Holmes." Amazing! He took the mower, and brought it back 24 hours later. It has been running great ever since.If there is someone in the Frederick area better than Bobby Long with small engines and superior customer service, I haven't met them yet.

the guys were great!!! they no longer have the office but travel to the customer!!! they were prompt at arrival and took the needed time to repair the snowblower!!! they stayed until it work completely!!! very thorough!!! i would and have recommended them to anyone needing small engine service... you cant go wrong with these guys!!! 10+ rating in my book!!!

Got an answer with in a day and Bobby came right over. He helped me fix my problem along with others I was having. He's very knowledgeable about his trade and a vey personable guy. Great price for excellent work. Would recommend and will be using them again.

Nice guys. Extremely knowledgeable on my zero turn. Came same day because they were already in my area. Turn around fro tuneup and adjustments was about 30 mins.! Would highly recommend this service. Texting about the service was also very convient. Will definitely use again!

Our Cub Cadet quit on us. After trying what I could with my limited knowledge I decided to try a professional while also considering just replacing this 11 year old tractor. Time was a big factor since mowing an acre with a 24 push mower is no picnic. I dropped into a shop in Frederick and was told it would be 3-1/2 weeks before they could even look at it and give me an estimate. That s far too many mowings with the push mower. Before going mower shopping my wife saw reviews on Bobby Longs company. I gave him a call on Friday, he picked it up a few hours later and delivered it back to me repaired Sunday evening. All at an unbelievable price.If you need repairs, don t bother with any of the big shops. Just call Bobby.

I tried to start my snowblower yesterday, to prepare for today's big snow, and sure enough, no go. Pretty clearly due to sitting too long, and the fuel gunked up something. So I called Bobby today, figuring he'd get to my machine sometime before the next snow. He actually scheduled to come by my house a few hours after my call. After tearing apart the carburetor, cleaning some things out, and putting it all back together - in my garage, mind you, rather than me having to haul it somewhere - he had the thing running within the hour. Amazing service. Reasonable pricing. Solid results. Hassle free. You bet I'm calling Bobby if I ever have any issues with this thing again!

These guys are absolute rock stars. They are fast, extremely competent and very friendly. The price is right and the service is fantastic. I could not recommend them more than giving them 10 stars out of 5. Trust me you will not find any better than Bob and his crew!!!!

My zero turn mower was bogging down when I engaged the PTO. I tried every option I could think of, but to no avail. I called Long's and the owner Bobby answered. He asked me what we tried to see if he could diagnose the problem over the phone. He asked if we were available now and I said yes. Within 20 minutes he showed up at my house and within 15 minutes, he diagnosed the problem. GREAT customer service that you just don't find any more. I highly recommend Long's and will definitely use them for all my small engine needs from now on!

Great service and wonderful to work with. They even sold us a great refurbished lawn mower to replace an old one that was ready to go. Friendly, helpful and reasonably priced. Highly recommend!
