Came to Frederick Motorsports to resolve some issues with my civic that another local workshop failed to do. Scott easily catered to my needs for a fraction of the cost in a fraction of the time. These guys are honest, professional, and efficient. Experience speaks volume in this industry, don t settle for anything less go to Frederick Motorsports for all your car needs.

Did an amazing job on my Q7 when it cracked a valve and wouldnt maintain pressure in a cylander. Will use again if needed (hopefully not anytime soon and not for anything major like what just happened).

If you want muffler's installed don't go here! I had two muffler's installed and they put a large gash into the EVAP hose coming from the fuel tank. Now I have p0455 code for a large leak.

How can I review a place where I am biased because they do such a great job? Mark and Scott are awesome highly trained professionals who allow you to bring your own parts and charge you only for the labor one of the few shops in Frederick that still allows you to do this, they also give you honest opinions and a fair fair overview of what's going on AKA if you don't know they'll mansplain it or mechanic explain it down to you so that way you don't feel like you're getting ripped off all in all this is the best place I've ever gone to and will continue to go to and I've been going to them for upwards of 9 years if not longer.

I had a custom exhaust installed on my car. This place did it for me. They charged me cheaper than what they originally quoted me. They did good work and my car sounds awesome now. They are honest and won t cheat you. I highly recommend them.

Always great service. They are amicable and honest. Rather prompt with their work and take an interest in the issues of your vehicle; offering valuable advice. They will be our go to shop for as long as we have a vehicle.2/17/2018Both of our vehicles were down. My Wife's car needed a crankshaft position sensor replaced which was done the next day. Mine was in for clutch and catalytic converter replacement. The work was excellent as always. A bad taste remains due to a theft of a GPS and obvious rifling through items. I have no doubts as to the integrity of both Scott and Mark. I could have removed the electronics before leaving my car and eliminated the possibility of this occurring, yet it has never been an issue before now. While I'm disappointed that this occurred, I can't see it impacting our choice of shop for vehicle maintenance. I wish it didn't occur and feel rather abused. Most shops will post the policy "Not Responsible for lost or stolen items" but it does nothing to ease the loss.Edit 3/1The shop will be installing an in dash unit that I am supplying. I am quite greatfull and am even more convinced that both Scott and Mark will continue being the repair shop of choice. I continue to be supportive of their work and integrity.

I had my VW Passat worked on for the Flex pipes being replaced. Very satisfied with the work done and the speed in which it was completed. I will easily recommend them for exhaust work. They aren't a nice fancy shop but it's like one of the hole in the wall places that do a great job and don't charge you an arm and a leg!Great job and thank you guys!

We won't find a place better than Frederick Motorsports. Scott and Mark are the best. They have done maintenance, repairs, and/or upgrades on all my vehicles for about the last 10 years. Every visit has been totally excellent with my expectations exceeded.

They do terrible work and tac on over 100% markup on there parts. I got an exhaust system put on and the parts alone were $750. I could order the same parts for $300! After the labor it was $1000. If you want to get ripped off this is the place to go.

Both Mark and Scott were a pleasure to deal with at Frederick Motorsports. I took my 2010 BMW 535 to them recently for some preventive maintenance and repairs. I am very happy with their work and would recommend them.

As usual, Frederick Motorsports did a fine job taking care of a leaky front differential. Adding a vent tube that allows any pressure buildup to be minimized is working. Thanks for the unique solution.

Do not trust them with your vehicle. An exhaust job on my vehicle, and a second job on a friends vehicle came out like trash. These were simple jobs that required simple bends. This shop overcharged and delivered poor welds and bad bends on both occasions. As someone who is a mechanic, having rebuilt my engine, transmission and suspension system by hand, exhaust is one of the simplest jobs on a vehicle. I brought my vehicle to them because I do not have the tools to bend pipes. I regret doing so, as their job was on par with what a 10 year old would be capable of and I will have to have it redone. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECCOMEND.

My go to for all automotive service and repairs. Conveniently located near downtown Frederick so there are alternative means of transportation when your ride is being serviced. Extremely honest, thorough and fair prices for quality workmanship. Can work on almost any vehicle from your daily ride to you weekend racing toy.

I've had two repairs performed by Frederick Motorworks, I was really pleased with the quality and pricing was very fair. It's not a beautiful building by any means but you get experienced techs who know what they are doing and charge a reasonable rate. Great guys.

Popped in here before a trip to get an oil change and an alignment and they were able to get it done quickly and for way less than I expected!! Awesome place!!

Poor execution. On a job to replace multiple front suspension components, they forgot to tighten the bolts mounting the brake calipers. One bolt fell out on the interstate - could've been catastrophic. Two other bolts were only finger tight.On top of that, seems they didn't install the front suspension components properly - lots of squeaking coming from my suspension now. Took the car into the shop - a component was missing from one of the shock installations, and the coils weren't seated properly (the source of the squeaking).

I didn t visit but put in for information about exhaust systems for my new vehicle. The guy called me back today and I had forgot about it. Was very helpful with pricing and helping me understand a little more about what I wanted.

Went to get a very simple job done, was never called with a quote. Did not do what I asked, no creativity not the best welding and way over priced for the quality of work. Will not be returning as I now have to find somebody else to pay to fix this.

I take all three of our cars to them.Currently I have my Midlife Car there that has been sitting for 4yrs all because another shop said i needed a new engine.It turn out all i needed war a timing belt.Thanks to Mark & Scott.
