Exceptional service. Clearview has done a great job on my vehicles and my husband's. The owner also offered to check out the vehicle we get for our son (currently looking) to make sure it's safe and at no charge! They even build engines for race cars. Stellar human beings who care about their customers and know what they're doing.

I ve had my rotors/pads replaced here and today I took it in for an alignment. They were so kind in changing my appointment to today and are always so helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this business and will continue to come back!

Clearview always makes time to get my car in and out of the shop as soon as possible (which happens often, my car has a lot of problems). It's worth shifting my own schedule around and coming home from college to get it in at Clearview because they're the only people I trust when it comes to car problems. They're amazing people who genuinely care about their customers and always provide excellent service. I recommend Clearview to anyone I hear discussing their own car problems!!

Easy in and easy out. Fair pricing upfront. Quality work. Our vehicles are always fixed right the first time. Have had a car problem they couldn't find and repair fast. Honesty is their middle name in my book.

Great service from this family run business. They will always tell you the truth about your car. So if you question what your current mechanic is trying to tell you, come here for honesty and integrity.

These guys are great mechanics period trustworthy, experienced, In reasonable prices. I'm so happy I found them and I would recommend them to anyone. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else.

Clearview Car Care is the only shop my family uses now, and it's been that way for a couple of years. My mom has always trusted them with all of our cars- we usually go to the North location, but my car needed it's engine refurbished and they sent us to the South location for that. I received just as amazing service as I do at North, the owners running the shop were always so kind and patient when I asked for updates, and were very on top of everything when I got it checked up with an oil change today as a follow up. The whole family running the shops are amazing and I'm very thankful for all of the hard work they put in for their customers! I don't think you can find better service in Frederick.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

Clearview Car Care treats every customer as if they were a family member. Instead of a book of things wrong marked red, yellow, and green, I get clear, straightforward recommendations for my family s three cars. I had a problem that was covered by the dealer warranty so they told me to take it to the dealership. What a difference! Although the service I received there was friendly and professional, they told me I needed to replace my tires. I had Steve at Clearview look at them and he thought they were good for two more oil changes. That s 6,000 more miles! If something doesn t need immediate attention, Clearview will tell you so you can plan for the expense. I have recommended them to family members who also rave about them. I live in Hagerstown now and I still drive down for auto service.

We have taken our older cars here ever since we were recommended to use Clearview when we moved to the area 6 years ago. Since our cars are older, we have been in for many more things than just oil changes and basic stuff. We have felt like the prices are fair and the owners are completely honest. They also have a nice waiting room with magazines, coffee, and wifi if you need to stay while your car is getting repaired. I am very thankful for all they have done to help us keep our cars in good condition and recommend them every chance I get.Services: Electrical repair, Air & cabin filter replacement, Exhaust, Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Auto engine diagnostic, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Air conditioning, Brake service & repair, Battery, Oil change

We have been going to Clearview South for multiple years for all of our family's vehicles. For any service I would recommend them. They are thorough, reliable, economical and friendly. Not that friendly is a requirement, but I do feel this relates to trustworthiness and because our vehicles are a part of our everyday life, we want to know that the persons who services or vehicle takes good care of any maintenance and/ or repair...and we can trust that Clearview will do that. My family has been bringing our fleet of cars to Clearview South for many years. They never fail to service our cars in a timely and professional manner at very reasonable costs. Most recently, they worked for an hour to get a temporary tag off a new car that the dealership had completely messed up. The cost to me? If you want an honest estimate and reliable work done on your car, this is the place to go! They squeezed me in when my car suddenly broke down and I was back on the road within a couple hours! They didn't try to upsell me, nor give me a long list of other repair work. Family owned and operated, you can tell they really care! Thank you Lisa and Steve!

They fix only what's broken! Very professional and they explain everything if you wish. If you have any problems after work has been done, you just bring it to the shop and they will take care of it.

It may not look like much but let me tell you Clearview Car Care south does an amazing job and I won't trust my car to any other shop. The employees are friendly, honest, and unlike other shops they actually tell you whats wrong and how much its going to cost without any scams. I highly recommend Clearview south!

Pleasant surprise and outstanding experience. Comfortable waiting room, great coffee and service took less time than anticipated. Very pleased with honesty and will always go back. After living here 3 years I have found 'my car place'!!!!

Honest, competitive great service and timely. Like attorneys, you don't associate vehicle mechanics as honest. I trust this place to send my wife to get work done here without me. Many places will try to upsell you or say everything is a critical repair. They do not do that here. This is a father son repair shops. The son runs N Market St and the father runs S Wismer St. Having a much older vehicle there's always things that could be done. The father looked our vehicle over, prioritized the issues and made recommendations for lowering costs. He even walked me through some things I could do myself.As stated earlier the greatest compliment I can give; I trust sending my wife who is NOT mechanically inclined to bring our vehicle here without me.

This family business is extremely professional and very knowledgeable when it comes to vehicles. Old cars and even the new cars with all their electrical BS!! They communicate with you. I took my car in for a simple oil change and they quickly brought it to my attention that my 2015 Chevy Cruze needed some other attention BUT they asked my permission b4 they did anything so when i went to pick up my car, i knew what i was expected to pay. I didn't get side swiped with the, "we also noticed this wrong.....fixed this other problem you didn't even know existed.....here's an additional couple hundred dollars added to you bill. SURPRISE!!!!"I've spent a long time trying to find a mechanic or garage that i trust with my vehicle and my wallet. Clearview auto care, ran by the Duckson family. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO EVERYBODY!!!!!!

Poor attitude toward customers, inflexible and incompetent. Main mechanic refuses to ever talk to or explain anything directly to a customer, insisting his wife is the only person customers are allowed to talk to. After making the bad decision to choose this place for a state inspection, we had the repairs done at a cheaper place nearby and then had this place reinspect it. After waiting a month (due to pandemic) for an appointment with the MVA, the MVA discovered that Clearview's inspector had made an error and entered one wrong character in the VIN on the inspection. Even though the official at the MVA said we could simply call the mechanic and have them submit it electronically right away, Clearview insisted we had to bring the vehicle in physically, so they could correct their mistake. No apology was offered. Instead we simply received an explanation that it was a simple mistake. Fortunately the people at the MVA were kind enough not to make us schedule a new appointment and wait yet another month to come back in with the corrected inspection. If this kind of unapologetic poor workmanship were applied not just to the VIN number, but to a vital safety component on a vehicle ... well... just would absolutely not ever do business with this place. Ever. Awful.EDIT 7/23: Also, this reply to this review I now see from the business owner that you don't know we are is silly. My name isn't the one on the bill as I came with my father and he paid, but I can certainly leave the review. You're located on 102 South Wisner Street, Frederick MD 21701. You've got 6 small parking spaces right in the front of your shop and a bunch of little toys in the windows. A few weeks ago you had two very unhappy customers regarding a compact Nissan. I would be very surprised if the wife that runs the desk didn't remember us. Inspector was Kenneth Duckson Jr. Original Cert date June 19. I am literally looking at the inspection that has your address and this inspector name on it, so there is not mistake, and leaving reviews does not require me to put out every detail of the transaction.
