Didn't have what I needed but directed me to another shop in Frederick. I appreciate that level of courteousness and professionalism. You don't really see it much now a days. Thanks for the help.

Top notch customer service should be their motto because they do provide top notch customer service and they'll even answer any questions that you might have about recommended services that must be performed on the machines that you already own. Their staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Pay these folks a visit and you won't be let down because they do an awesome job at providing customers with the help they need

Heed the negative reviews; there seems to be a common thread. One star is generous. I took my Hustler zero turn mower to Ceresville for a major overhaul that cost approx $2k. I should say at the outset that this mower is well used and not pretty, but very functional. Within less than an hour of returning the mower to service, the carburetor, which was cleaned and reassembled during the overhaul, flooded the engine and crankcase with gasoline, most likely due to an improperly reinstalled carb float. I returned the mower to Ceresville to make it right (I supplied a new OEM carburetor) and Ceresville charged me nearly $800 to fix their own error. When I complained to the owner of the business and said that I should not be paying to fix an issue they had caused, he merely shrugged his shoulders and said, the bill would stand. When I said, nicely, "Bob, you know that's just not right", he told me to never come back.

Saw a tractor advertised at a wholesale price, stopped in and apparently there is only one sales guy there and he "wasn't in." He did call back and when asked what his hours were, his response was 8-4. I showed up the next day to inspect the unit and he had apparently neglected to inform me he wasn't going to be in that day. Nobody had any info about the tractor. Another message left in person (with his father I believe) and a follow-up call the next day. Both blown off. Disappointed, won't bother ever returning.

Started my shopping process online, Robert was prompt with his response and answered my online questions. Came to the shop for the actual purchase, Robert was courteous and professional, did not push anything specific on me but made sure to show me many options based on what I said I needed. The buying process was quick and painless and although Robert said that it would be later in the day before he d be able to deliver out to Carroll County, my new mower was sitting in my driveway before I returned home. I recommend Ceresville New Holland and will definitely return there for future needs.

I needed to find a new service center for my Hustler, 1st time they did not show to pick up my mower. So I had it delivered, they took several weeks for an oil change and PTO clutch replacement.1400 dollars later I picked it up. Thought I was over charged for the visit. They charged me for a belt replacement they had previously sold me. Additionally the oil service was suppose to be a checklist, which was to include air filter, lube the zerk fittings etc. i see no Evidence this was done but I was charged for it.I guess I am still looking for a service center.

Ryan is a soft sell kind of guy gave me my options and asked for my business. Equipment is a personal thing and I researched and decided that New Holland was my best choice.thing that surprised me most was the contact after sale to make sure I was happy.Buy here with confidence

There appears to be a significant disparity with regard to comments. I could guess that those purchasing industrial equipment for farm use are leaving quality reviews; however, most of the poor reviews seem to be left from residential users. I am one of the residential consumers. The details can be found below; however, I would never recommend this company and will never spend another dollar of my money or minute of my time dealing with Ceresville. To say their business model and customer service is abysmal would be a gross understatement.I purchased a Hustler FasTrak 60 from Ceresville in April 2020. During my 6th use (22 hours on the odometer), the mower died. In calling Ceresville, my only option for service was to pay them $560 to pick up a new mower from my home, ~13 miles from their dealership. They determined it was a faulty wire housing under the seat, which triggered a short in the safety system. However, they also informed me this was not their fault and the manufacturer was to blame. In speaking with Hustler, dealerships are expected to perform a full quality assessment prior to sale of equipment. Ceresville offered to reduce the delivery fee by half - $280. So, after paying nearly $7,000 for a new mower, I'm out another $280 for something that is not "my fault", but not "their fault" either.I set out to mow the next week, but the blades wouldn't engage. I called Bob and he was adamant that they had done a quality check and everything was working when it left their shop. It took nearly two weeks to get this issue resolved. Their initial request was that I find a way to get the mower to them. I believe at some point the manufacturer intervened, resulting in Ceresville to come pick up the mower. Ultimately, it was determined that someone had failed to connect the wiring back to the PTO clutch. Similar to the seat harness issue, I question if anyone is actually performing quality checks before equipment leaves Ceresville.I set out to mow the next week. Everything ran smoothly; however, I noted the odometer wasn't working. After mowing, it still read 22 hours. I, again, called Ceresville to have this corrected. All I received was run around and brushoffs (for weeks). From initial breakdown (6 June) to the time I stopped calling Ceresville about the odometer (30 July), was nearly two months. During this time, I called Ceresville 10 times. I did not receive a single return phone call from Ceresville to provide updates or to discuss issues. Further, every time I called, I had to go through the entire story and remind them of the issues. Ceresville's shop appeared to be very disorganized and was not writing anything down.About mid-June I initiated discussions with Hustler to ensure they were aware of the issues I was having with the dealer. My experiences and lack of customer support has been fully documented with Hustler over the course of 8 phone conversations. Ultimately, Hustler found another dealer in Pennsylvania to pick up and service my mower. Of note, this dealer is nearly 30 miles from my home and their standard rate for roundtrip pick up and deliver is $135. I'm very thankful to Hustler for standing by their product; however, I would never recommend using this dealer.

Large equipment service is terrible and so is every other aspect of the store. I took in my New Holland LS160 skid loader because it had a leaking hydraulic hose in the engine bay leaking out the belly pan. I told the service manager and owner Bob Dinsmore I would like an estimate before any work was done They called me and said they found the leaking hose and it could be fixed by putting in a new steel line or another flex line. I asked for pricing either way, about 45 minutes later the manager Bob called back and said the hose was $150 so that would be cheaper, I agreed and asked for estimate including labor to replace the hose. They called back about 45 minutes later and said that they would order the hose, which would take a week to get, even though they claim to make them on site, he estimated 20 hours labor, $1700 to replace the hose. I asked how much they had in it he said $222. Although I thought that was high to find a leaking hose, I told him I would pay what they had in it but could not afford for them to fix the hose and needed the machine for a project sooner so I would have to fix myself. He then said they would have more labor putting taking it off the jack stands in the shop and pulling it outside for me to pick up. I was shocked but asked how long he thought it would take. He said no more that 1/2 hour. I showed up the next business day to pick it up and was expecting a bill of about $275 including 1/2 hour of $89 labor rate. The bill was almost $400 and included a $20 shop misc fees...I can only imagine this was for paper towels every time the tech got some dirt on his fingers... since nothing else but finding a leaking hose was done. I waited over 1 hour to talk with Bob because he was unavailable. During this time I contacted Antietam new Holland in Hagerstown and spoke with the service dept they were familiar with the hose and said they replace them regularly with parts and labor for under $400. He was shocked when I told him the estimate of 20 hours, they apparently can pull an entire engine out of the machine in 5 hours. I was finally able to speak to Bob Dunsmore the owner, he said that he was not going to honor the 30 minutes to take it off the jack stands and pull it in the parking lot that we talked about because the tech showed another 1.5 hours on it. I talked with several friends in the farming community and I wish I would have before I went there, word of mouth has already spread the customer service is terrible and they will likely go out of business soon. I have never done any work to this machine myself before, but I was still able to get the old hose off in 2 hours, went to cauliflower in Frederick and they made me a hose for $140 and I put the hose back on in 2 hours. The Dinsmores are a rip off.

I took my Kawasaki Mule in for a big job on the engine, after it was taken apart they (the mechanic) told me on the phone that the labor should be around $1700 definitely not $2000. When I picked it up the labor charge was $2500. The service manager told me that he personally never told me that so I had to pay. I tried to get him to shave something off, he knocked off $100. When I got home I found the post card I had gotten from them that said " Get a $100 gift card if you spend $500 on service" When I called back to see if I could get the gift card, he told me that was the $100 discount he gave me. What a piece of work! My tractor, mule ,dixie chopper, millcreek spreader, and tiller were all bought at that store along with all repair parts over the past 7 years. With no break down on what the labor hours were I'm trying to figure out where the 28 hours were spent. The mechanic said that he took it apart and found the cracked head in less than a day and when he gets the parts it won't take him a day to put it back together. That's 16 , where is the other 12 hours I'm being charged for?

Great and very informative service. Very competitive prices and a large variety of stock. Kind of took the sting out of spending a lot of money. Sales mgr. Robert is very helpful and knowledgeable. Happy to give a superb rating !

Signed and waited for a piece of equipment that ultimately didn't work out due to supply chain issues but Robert and his team were understanding and easy to work with. Won't hesitate to give them my business in the future.

They were very helpful even when they did not have the parts that I needed! But instead they found out where I could get the parts from even though it was a competitor, thats what you call great business ethics!!

We brought our tractor in for them to look at, I told them we don't have a lot to spend on it and that it was so old we might just part it out. We just wanted an estimate and to know what was wrong. We didn't hear from them for a few weeks although I called them several times. They finally called back and supposedly fixed it, without my consent. They said we owe them a few thousand or they're keeping my tractor. We didn't even know any of those things were wrong with it otherwise we wouldn't of had the work done. I'm contacting my lawyer, please don't trust them.

Horrible. They want to charge me for a PDF of the owners manual for my tractor. Ridiculous. They won't email me a PDF. Or even tell me where the hydraulic fluid fill cap is unless I give them money.

Bought a brand new tractor a year and half ago. Took into warranty repairs a week ago. This is something that should have taken 20 minutes to repair... after explaining the 3 littleissues i was having they said is there anything else. I said ever since it was new the mower deck rattled when its all the way up.. they told me the tractor had a 2 year bumper to bumper warranty......a week later i called and they said i owe 200$ for adjusting the mower deck.. without even calling me to say hey this isn't covered under warranty would you like it repaired.. any place that charges 200$ for a simple task as adjusting a mower deck is fraudulent and should be closed down. Id advise anyone to use a different dealer. i love the tractor but the service department is horrible and with out service you might as well not have a tractor. I will never buy another tractor from them .. hopefully someone in management reads these reviews and changes things..... edit response from owner.... i called and asked to speak to the manager no one ever called me... i took a week to fix a 20 minute job.. you charged 200 $ to adjust a mower deck... why am i upset good question.. next time you should call the customer say hey the mower deck is not covered under the warranty do you want it fixed.. you are liars.. scam artist. All the reviews on here tell the truth. . It doesn't matter if you said you would not change me the bottom line is you should have never worked on it if it wasn't covered under warranty...ps to any potential customer.. read what you siqn because they can put whatever they want on the paper and you may have a new engine after coming in for a oil change ... update .. after using my tractor all week the mower deck has been significantly lower after the professionals at this place adjusted it... today i hooked up my 3 pt tiller.. my tractor has several positions for mower deck settings.. i need to set it to position s for stay up.. what do you know they have it so out of adjustment that it wont go in the highest position... for a 200$ job i figured it probably would take me a couple hours to readjust it... i had a crescent wrench and i was in the yard no special tools.. it took 10 minutes and it was back to were it originally was.. . I personally will never go back to this place. Not even in emergencys when i need a part. Ill be taking all my business to antietam tractor in hagerstown.

If there was a Zero I would use that. Bought a brand new Kawasaki mule from ROBERT and have had nothing but problems the battery is bad and the tires keep going flat. I have only had the mule for 8 days and I haven t road it yet. The transmission grinds going in to gear and is the biggest waste of money I have ever spend. Called several times and finally received a email saying it s coverd under warranty to bring it in and they would look at it. I have only rode this machine in there parking lot and have all these problems already and was told that they wouldn t refund my money. This place is a joke don t spend your money there

Horrible customer service highway robbery report to better business bureau took my machine there had it for almost 2 weeks called them and they said haven't got to it yet.over a week goes by and calls me said it was finished never called me first before working on it and telling me what it was going to cost .wanted me to pay almost $2,000 for a 30 year old Ford cm274 front mower that I wanted to see what it would cost to get fixed. I gave him a list of things finch's told me was wrong with it when they had it first but they said couldn't find parts and I have an actual diagnostic bill from them. The only things finch mentioned was PTO not engaging which was probably a worn belt because it's old a leaking hydraulic line and a brake was stuck. They fixed everything and much more so they say without my consent and I'm taking them to court

I enjoy working with this New Holland dealer because they have experienced people who can extrapolate what I need from a few descriptions of what I tell them.

Came out for 5 hours to go over a new holland skid steer. That is having electrical issues. Fixed a fuse charged me a arm and a leg. Just to get back in the skid that evening go 5 feet just to have the same thing happen just like the day before. Where the whole machine goes dead. Called them first thing this morning and they told me they'd come back out just to charge me all over again. What ever happened to if you don't fix it right the first time then you fix it for free. I will never buy another new holland ever.
