Just wanted to share my car-shopping experience at Catoctin. I must say, it was the best one yet! I visited Catoctin and was pleasantly surprised by their honesty and transparency. They explained every detail of the deal to me, which was a first for me, and there were no hidden costs involved. Plus, the cars they sell are thoroughly inspected and refurbished. Ramsey, the person who assisted me, was an absolute gem. Although I faced a minor issue with the car, he went above and beyond to make everything right for us. I could tell that he takes pride in the vehicles he sells. I would highly recommend Catoctin for a hassle-free car-shopping experience.

Salesman/owner is very knowledgeable and works with you to get a deal done. Ramsay worked very hard to make sure my purchase has been exactly as needed.He has an amazing selection and a vast knowledge of the brand. Made what could be a tough decision an easy one.

Place is phenomenal. Got my first car here about two years ago, every time I need something, Ramsey is there to help out. I broke my vacuum fitting on my mini, reached out to Ramsey on a Sunday and he got one for me on Monday. Very hard working group of people, and very hospitable. Wouldn t go to any other place. On behalf of the Bolens, Thank you Ramsey and the whole entire Catoctin Automotive Group. You guys are amazing.

I searched the entire country for the right MINI Cooper. I really didn t know what to look for, but when I contacted Ramsey at Catoctin, He led me in the right direction. I ended up with a 2013 two-door hardtop in British racing green. The car had 63,000 miles and was extremely clean, although it did have some northern undercarriage wear and tear, to be expected. I flew from Orlando to Baltimore and picked up the car at Catoctin and drove it home. It drove like a dream.That was nearly a year ago. I have just put 30,000 miles on the car in that time and have had no major issues and only experienced the normal wear and tear/maintenance requirements. We are a family of mini Cooper owners, presently with three and looking for a fourth. If you re in the market for a Cooper, contact Ramsey.

Bought my mini here, and I'm pleased with my purchase, the service, and general experience. Ramsay is very busy, and it's sometimes difficult to get him on the phone, but trust, that guy is dedicated to his business and all his customers.

I bought my car 2 years ago. It was a FABULOUS experience, great deal. I've had questions come up and have reached out several times to Ramsay, and he always makes time to help me. His continued help has saved me thousands in unnecessary repairs. He has no obligation or financial gain, it's just great customer service. I will definitely return for my next car.

Love this place. The owner Ramsey is a real nice guy. Back on May 4th he got me into a used 2012 Cooper S Bayswater Edition. This is my 1st MINI and I love it. But let me tell you Ramsey took care of me when getting this car. Now today I went to go to lunch and my car started sputtering and check engine light came on. I got ahold of Ramsey he told me to bring it in. So I had it towed in. And when I got off work she was read to go. After a tune up.. thanks again Ramsey 5

What can I say about Ramsey and his dealership? Awesome!! He knows his stuff about Mini Coopers and help decide on which one to go with. No pressure whatsoever. I test drove multiple cars, until I was 100% ready to purchase. I thank him for being so patient and making the buying experience a pleasure. Will buy from him again!

We just bought a 2010 Mini Cooper S from Ramsey and could not be happier with the experience. He was honest and open and let me take my time and answered all my questions. These guys are very transparent. You don't find that in a used car dealership very often.We had a small problem with the car shortly afterwards and Ramsey completely took control and fixed everything.Anyone looking for a reliable car would do themselves a great favor by checking out what Catoctin has on their lot.

Ramsey was super patient and incredibly knowledgeable about every car on his lot, as well as others for comparison. It took me over a month, but he was cool and didn t put an ounce of pressure on me at any point. He s passionate about performance, straight forward with his expertise, and will let you make the choice on the car you want. Highly recommended.

Ramsey really goes the distance at this place. The website may not be accurate, but he can literally find you whatever you want if you don t like what he has. Ramsey seems to specialize in Minis, but he has an encyclopedic knowledge of just about any vehicle. Ramsey provides a no-pressure sales experience. When you decide on a car, he will fix anything you find wrong or don t like and then bring it up to perfect condition. Ramsey even went as far as to let me bring the car back after the sale to remedy some issues we found before the sale and honored a gentleman s agreement which I genuinely appreciated. He did it simply because he knew I needed two cars. Ramsey is happy to answer any questions and can speak to any person regardless of their technical and mechanical expertise. As you can see, I am thoroughly pleased with both my experience and my purchase from Catoctin Automotive Group, and I recommend you check them out!

I want to say thank you to Ramsey and Catoctin Auto Group. I bought a red Mini Cooper Hardtop from them, and I am extremely happy with the purchase. The car is great, and Ramsey really took the time to go through all of it's features, making me feel at ease about the purchase. Ramsey and his dad are clearly honest guys who know a lot about cars, want you to be happy with what you drive, and who won't pressure you into the sale. The car I bought had low mileage and was very fairly priced. I would buy from them again! I really recommend Catoctin Automotive - you won't be disappointed. There is a reason this place has such great reviews!

Listen, if you want a Mini, go to this dealership. Period. Close your browser, and go. Don't worry about the website. This is a single guy running a monster dealership, doing the sales, back-end, AND turning wrenches. The website is at the bottom of the priority list.Research, get your questions, and go. He knows more about Mini's than most people forget. He has a great selection from the top to the bottom of any price range. He also does real work when buying & reconditioning - and we're not just talking Armor-All and Wheel Polish. He can tell you what the inside of the intakes look like on just about any car on the lot. If you're part of the Central/Western MD Mini community, this is the best place for sales and service. A true specialist an hour outside the beltway.

Hands down, the best car buying experience my husband and I have ever had. We were looking for a safe, used car for our daughter and Jerome helped us find exactly what we wanted and gave us the best price without the back and forth that you usually have to deal with at other car dealerships. We needed to have a couple extra things done to/for the car and Jerome and Jerry went out of their way to take care of everything so we didn't have to deal with it ourselves. The next time we need a car, this will be the first and only place we go. Highly recommend them for all your car needs!

Best experience I've ever had buying a car. Everyone is super-friendly, not pushy like lots of car salesmen I've had before, and go out of their way to get you what you're looking for at the best price imagineable!! Jeremiah and Jerome were amazingly helpful and always available, even after hours when I had questions and concerns. They helped me so much and pulled every string to get me in my car and I love it!! If you're looking for a great vehicle at the best price, I highly recommend Catoctin Auto group!!

This was the best car buying experience I've ever had! I cannot say enough about how far above and beyond Jerry went to meet my car needs! He gave me the absolute best trade-in value for my vehicle and an amazing price on a beautiful car that he even searched for and had delivered to the dealership while still keeping my price under budget. He listened to and exceeded my car expectations. He made the car buying experience very pleasant and simple. This is a small, private dealership and that made for a more personal experience with no haggling or pressure.I cannot believe someone would leave such a petty negative review about the hours and the car not being available which happens quite often on CarGurus because vehicles get sold all of the time and the site may not be up-to-date with that info. When you contact a dealer about a vehicle, you WAIT for their response as to whether or not the car is still available and THEN set up a time to see it. Jerry responded to my request very promptly, brought the car to me for a test drive that evening (I live an hour away) because I could not make it out to the dealership that night, and then spent the next week or so working with me and searching for the perfect vehicle for me.Five stars all around for Catoctin Auto Group! I will definitely refer all of my friends and family to them, and I will absolutely return to them for future cars!

Wow I cannot say enough about the wonderful experience i had buying my Nissan Rogue from Catoctin. They are the Best hands down. Jerome and Jerry made my car buying experience flawless. They even made sure I had an extra key for my vehicle. This may be a used car dealership. But the service and commitment to make the customer is happy put these guys above anything I have experienced so far.

I recently purchased a 2008 Honda Civic from these guys. I also test drove a 2012 Civic, as well as a 2009 Toyota Corolla, and I can say with certainty that their cars are as advertised: low mileage, no accidents, no more than 1-2 owners. They even include Carfax reports for each of their vehicles, complementary.What isn't advertised is the great service and staff you'll be working with. Alan and Jerome were very knowledgeable, easygoing guys with a lot of personality. They're not your typical used car guys either, they have a great deal of information about every car on their lot, and they won't give you the run around. If you have any questions, they'll do their best to get you an answer on the spot. They're prices are also very competitive, especially considering the kinds of cars they have on the lot. If you're buying a used car near Frederick, Maryland, I would highly recommend you check these guys out first.

It was a great experience working with Jerome White in my car buying process. He gave me the best value for the trade in as well as great deal on the Nissan Rogue. He completed the sale and trade in prompt and professional manner.He provided great customer service even after the sale and made sure everything is working with the car and I get the tags, mats and extra key in the way most convenient to me.

Went to the dealership to check out one of my dream cars, the Mercedes AMG GT. Ramsey took time to explain all it's features and details and was open to any and all questions. He's very knowledgeable in the auto industry and gave some insight to current trends. He was open and honest about the benefits and challenges of purchasing private party. I hope to have the opportunity to do business with him soon.

I can say without hesitation that Catoctin Auto Group was easily the best auto buying experience I've ever had. Jerry went out of his way to make my car buying process as smooth and pleasant as possible. From meeting/talking with me at odd hours, above-and-beyond help with the car buying process, down to driving the vehicle to me after I bought it. Both Jerry and Jerome were honest, no-pressure, and real, which I couldn't find with any other dealership. Also, the trade-in value they gave me for my truck was significantly better than any other dealer by far. I give Catoctin Auto Group the highest recommendation possible and will absolutely be back when looking for my next vehicle.

A perfect first experience. Me and my girlfriend are new to car buying and the welcoming atmosphere here was amazing. We never felt pressured or obligated to only do our services here. I honestly loved the fact that the staff were just human beings, they didn t seem like they were working, just doing what they love to do. We didn t even get quickly caught up into introductions when we arrived and I loved that. So many times you go to car dealerships and it s a fight to see who can talk to you first and that makes a lot of people uncomfortable. But here, they waited until we were ready. Jerome might be the best dealer in the tristate area, he knows his business, he even gave us info needed to make our buy better even if it wasn t making him the most profit. He didn t low ball us, he genuinely cares for his customers. Overall the experience here is far beyond the look of this place. It s nice and small but the experience you get feels like this should be a CarMax lot. I found it hard to believe his spot was this small, and I know for a fact this is just the beginning for these guys. If you read this Jerome just know, I appreciate everything you ve done.

I worked with Ramsey regarding a first Generation Mini. Unfortunately the car I called on had just been sold. However Ramsey was very communicative when other cars came up and gave really good insight into the R53 platform. Professional, passionate, and courteous 100% of the time.

It was my first time purchasing a vehicle. Jeremiah, Jerome and Colleen are fantastic people who made my first vehicle purchase a smooth, easy experience. The relationship they all have with each other makes for a fantastic environment. I recently bought a Nissan Rogue and had a great experience with Jerimiah and Jerome. I told them exactly what I wanted and what I hated and they took the time to find exactly what I wanted. I wish we would have purchased our first vehicle from them and saved us the headache from the sneaky lying car salesman stereotype. They are honest, harding working guys that will treat you right. You can't go wrong working with these guys and will have the easiest car buying experience ever!Update 11/27/17- the car buying experience was a gem, however we've had to buy new tires, new battery and now brakes. You may save cost upfront, but may be better buying a certified vehicle to save headache and unwanted cost after purchasing the car.

Small business in a seller s market. Ramsey, the owner, seems like he is a decent guy, but isn t very responsive to inquiries. I stopped by this dealership on a Sunday to check out what was on the lot. Not a lot of vehicles listed on the website we re in the parking lot or inside a showroom area. I don t know if they aren t available or sold but they were definitely not there. It has unique cars listed online, but again are they actually available?
