Swift & Excellent Service! I went in on Thursday for their free battery check. The tech on the counter tested my battery on the spot. WI went in the next day (on payday) to buy a new battery and the same tech looked up which battery I needed and installed it himself.

I only went to this location once but I give it 5 stars because the person who helped me recently was very helpful. I had purchased a new windshield wiper at another of their store locations but then when I got new tires at a garage and asked that they replace the old wiper with the new one I was told it "wasn't the right kind". The person from Advanced Auto on W Patrick quickly checked his computer to confirm it was compatible then offered to come take a look outside and proceeded to pop it on my windshield for me in less than a minute. I will got back to this location for sure!

Just trying to buy parts. Walking in I asked if they had a restroom for paying customers I was told by an associate who said his name was Kevin but his shirt read Aaron he told me to go to burger King.. online this store showed to have part# 904 scan. of course he said they didn't have it rude customers service. I bet they did have it...

The store on West Patrick Street is my favorite location in Frederick. I live on the other side of town and still go to this location. Anytime I have gone, the staff is always knowledgeable and very helpful. Tonight there was such a helpful lady and the manager Luke is amazing, gave me advice on a part I needed and one I didn't actually need and just so grateful for both of their help. Got everything done after a stressful evening thanks to Luke and this store.

So far, I had a terrible experience with Alex, a worker at Advanced Auto Parts Frederick, I told him if he could help me with anything and what he told me was where the product was, I'm not a person who knows much about cars, and he did not help or recommend anything to me and he is not interested in doing so. Before helping me he was using the phone and then he used it again, without paying much attention to me. It seems like the parents force him to work. It's a shame they pay him to do that lousy job.

The older gentleman was extremely rude.A friend of mine was trying to get a new battery and advice on some things but he was short and standoffish.Terrible customer service.

Friendly knowledgeable staff. Thank goodness we ended up close to here when we had emergency issues. They had everything we needed and more. All employees including management offered assistance with our issue.

I called this location and others. This was the only store who said they had my car battery in stock AND could replace it.I drive a Mercedes and other places said they could not put in the battery. My partner jump started my car and we headed there. When I arrived, the salesman told me he had double checked that my car did not need to be "registered" and they could install the battery. I purchased it, joined the rewards program and waited for him to install the battery. I was in and out in 30-minures. I offered to tip him but he declined...was worth it to me LOL. As a woman when your car is on the fritz your independence feels threatened and anxiety and fear creep in. Even though it was a simple battery need having access to the part and service for a reasonable price just feels better. Thank you sooo much!!

I had to have my wife purchase a part from this location. I gave her a bolt to bring with her and told her we needed 2 of the same bolt for the brake caliper purchased from this location. The employee was about to sell my wife s completely different bolt that was significantly longer in length. I'm grateful there where customers in the store who intervened and stopped my wife from purchasing a bolt that could have caused a catastrophic failure. This is our family vehicle that we drive our 2 young children around in. I'm amazed someone who works at an auto parts store would not take seriously the importance of correct parts and the safety issues when installing the wrong parts

Excellent customer service. Great inventory. If you don't see it on the shelf just ask if they have more in the back. Often times they do. Store is well organized and clean. All safety measures are followed including free facemasks upon entering if you forgot yours. Plenty of free parking in the large parking lot. If you purchase windshield wipers there they will put them on for you for free if you ask. Prices on everything are very good. There is only a short wait, if that, when checking out. Store is handicap accessible.

Time after time bad customer service...2 weeks ago I ordered struts, recvd notice ready for pickup, but went in and stood at counter 14 min while he looked. A kid comes back, smiling and smirking, with no apology and said "We dont have em some type of issue". I asked well I have my car apart at home so something needs done? Stock shows here and i was told theyre ready. I showed him on my phone it said they were in stock. He goes to the back and comes back minutes later stating "yea the system doesnt have any". I refresh the page and it shows 0 stock. Hes smirking again....I bite my tongue and ask for a manager... he was friendly and apologetic. Offered to same day from other store and get em to me. Explained how probably xyz happened and was very sorry! Manager was great!! But other staff need training...... gimme a break. Rude kids.....

I ordered something online, went to pick it up as the email said it would be ready in 30 minutes. Get there about 2 hours after placing the purchase to find out no one pulled the item, and now they were sold out. However, they were able to locate it in another store in the Frederick area. Although I had to drive further out of my way I was pleased to know that I would have my product that day.

They rented me the wrong $150 kit for a brake job on my Sienna. The location near my house didn't have one in stock. The store is clean and neat. The staff is pretty nice and helpful all things considered.

So I went to just went to get oil and an oil filter for my car. Before I finished my transaction the cashier named David was like "Hey you could save money and get higher quality oil if you use this coupon" and showed me the deal on one of their coupon fliers. Idk I thought that was really cool and it's been a rough week so 5 stars for this place.

I was trying to use my coupon as a first time user. The coupon was for 25% off any first order. For what ever reason the coupon was invalid for my product (head lights) im a 21 year old female that doesn t know much about cars. My first thought was to look up what i need on the store website before going in. Once i got there no one and i mean no one took the time to help me. All the employees just Kept saying goto h11, and obviously i had no idea what the heck that was. I walked around the store for about 10 minutes and just said forget it. So i left the store with out my purchase, frustrated and my head light was still out. I decided ordering online and picking up would be my best bet since no one in the store felt the need to help me. After the coupon not working I m over the whole experience. Wish things had went better- Frederick Maryland location

This is a no-nonsense experience. Each of my visits were same as the one before. I tell the parts guy what I need, or my problem, and I've always been given options from which to choose. Checking out almost always is quick. If one register is occupied, a free parts guy opens a new register. Have a difficult mechanical problem? They can offer solutions and tools to fix what ever fails your best. Parking is ample and free. Easy access off of the Golden Mile.

A pretty decent Advance. I came in with a battery that had died, and the corrosion was so severe the terminal seized to the post. The guy helping me did everything in his power to separate those components but couldn't do it without risking breaking the terminal/circuit breaker. I give that guy credit--he tried, where if his manager saw my situation I'd probably have been turned away immediately. Great service. They can be kind of slow and understaffed.

We normally don't use this Advance Auto, but our regular store didn't have the part we needed in stock. The staff at this location was just as knowledgeable, courteous, and timely as our Mount Airy crew :o). Although, it was a longer drive to get the needed part, it was worth it! We got the van back on the road quickly again thanks to our Advance Auto buddies!

I found them to be extremely helpful. I had tried the other two auto parts stores and one just told me they didn't have what I needed, the next one sold me the wrong part. When I got to Advance the staff took their time to get me the right part. Thank you for your help!

The staff was very helpful. The cashier noticed i was about to buy the wrong oil and corrected me. Also helped me save a couple bucks by matching up some stuff.

Bad. No matter what part it is they re almost guaranteed to give you the wrong one. I ve had to return parts on several occasions.

Wonderfully helpful staff and very knowledgeable about all things cars. If they dont have it in store, but there is a part number you can even order it online. Friendly people and always willing to answer questions even beginner questions. I always stop here when i need something before going anywhere else.

I loved this store until the schedule was changed! You guys should work until 8pm. Im an essential worker i get off work at 7 pm and cant buy there!

Excellent location that I frequent regularly. I like that I can order online avoiding either not getting through by phone or being kept on hold, plus you get a 20% discount.

So i went there 3 days ago because of my battery, asked the guy his name was Kevin, to check it for me to see if ut worked or if i needed a new battery, he didnt charged it or try to do it, he went ahead and told me that my battery didnt work and i needed a new one so i bought a new one, went to my car and installed the battery 20 min later my car stopped working again, so i took it to a mecanic and they told me the alternator was the one bad not the battery, so i called the next day after purchasing the battery on advance auto parts and they told me that they didnt have my battery anymore and that they couldnt take my brand new battery back because i already installed it. I understand the policy of this big company but when one of your employee made a mistake you should back up the customer who has to pay extra money for this company mistake! I went to the store to work something up, i asked to speak with the manager her name is DANA she came, listened to the problem and told me that it was a company policy and that my old battery was gone nothing that she could do and offered me a 10% off of the alternator, my car is a Mitsubishi Montero sport 2000, the alternator in the store was about 180 dollars is i am not mistaken not sure about the price they told me but it was a expensive one the point is that they only offered me 10% off when i could easily buy an alternator online for like 80 dollars brand new. The battery itself was like 134 dollars so at the end they dont care about the customer only how they can win, this case i had to spend more than 100 for the battery and 80 plus dollars for the alternator, Thanks Advance auto parts, now you can sell my old working battery and get more money out of me! I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THAT STORE TO BUY SOMETHING ELSE..
