staff are a bit inattentive but i guess there aren t that many customers to practice customer service.the waiting area and showroom aren t in the best condition, a bit worn and dirty.they did do my inspection within 1hr which is great comparing to other places that quote 3hrs+.i d recommend them just because of that.parking is limited but not sparse.

The best auto shop I have ever been to they give you 5star treatment, and go out their way to fix your car in the best way. I had no complaints they work as a team to find the best solution for your vehicle. Y all need work done on your vehicle fort Washington Auto is the best place.

Each and every person, whether via phone or in person, was extremely professional, attentive, and helpful. The shuttle service was also great, on-time and reliable. It was wonderful not to have to stay at the shop all morning while waiting for my brake sensor to be repaired. I was initially hesitant to take my BMW there since I've only ever had it serviced and repaired at a BMW repair shop. However, this was the best car service/repair and auto shop customer service that I've experienced in a long time. So much so that I'm writing a review, which I never do. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Very bad service. I do not recommend this establishment. Once you pay, they create a problem for you to return for more service. The first time I visited this establishment, for a tire repair, they failed to place the tire stem on the tire which led to a flat. Unfortunately and lastly, I visited the establishment to purchase used rims. They located and installed the rims. Once installed, they said that one of the tire caps were missing and it was on it's way within 2 to 3 days. A week later, after I contacted them, the cap was supposedly lost by UPS. If I had not contacted them for a credit for the missing cap, they never would have followed up and would have gotten paid for an incomplete job. Nobody would be okay driving a car with three out of 4 wheel caps so why not follow up with your customers to that you value their business? I will never visit this establishment again and will never recommend anyone to visit as well.

*edit. The front desk employee was able to communicate with me on the reason why the car failed and explained the miscommunication on the pricing which was much appreciated. They also got me out sooner than expectedIf you're looking to fail an inspection this is the perfect place for you. After that I got repair bill about 1k. After going through the itemized list for what I failed for 400 dollars magically vanished. Keep in mind I added 2 used tires to the bill. Unfortunately I was on short time to get this done and had to get this done. First and last time visit.

Betsy was amazing. Very Friendly. We had some unexpected issues with our car, but she explained what was necessary to get the car to pass inspection. I will definitely return for more service work!

2009 Buick Lacrosse CXI appreciate all the work that was performed on my vehicle, but the issue my car has isn't resolved. Had $2100 worth of work done and the car still shut off soon as I pulled out of your parking lot. Car still says starting Disabled and reduced engine power. Service stability system.

Got a good price and great customer service provided by James. I always go in and Miss Tammy takes care of me like family wouldn t trust anyone else to touch my car.

The person that answered the phone sounded like he just woke up and couldn't answer any questions about bringing a car in. Seemed like he didn t feel like answering my questions so I just ended the call and went somewhere else. The most important impression is the first and that first impression was atrocious.

The team thrives to provide you with exceptional customer service. Chris will work with you to accommodate your schedule for an appointment. I overheard some discussions with their patrons and witnessed how they help their patrons to make informed decisions about their car's maintenance without the pushy salesman tactics. I felt that they were honest and provided good options. I'll come back.

The most expensive MD inspection $99.9 place, spent 4hours after longtime waiting and came up it didn t pass and failed due to steer has cover and nailed was on tire but it wasn t flat.I can take off the steering cover it won t be any issues and ask to fix the flat tire so they said charging for $49.99 I had to go fix it at Pros Tire for $19.9 only.The Pro tires & Auto is charging $79.9 and fixed my flat tire for $19.9 only.It was tough and disappointed from this place.

I have mixed feelings. Pricey and non-reliable. Diagnostic will cost you $140 & an oil change is $121 for full synthetic. I will be looking for another shop.

Came here for my MD service inspection & the entire staff is great! Tammy was very helpful with having the guys also put my Honda emblem back on the front of my car! I was in & out within an hour of my appointment time. I recommend them for friendly & quick service! Will keep them in mind for the future!

Multiple positive experiences with this auto shop. The customer service is always on point, pricing is reasonable and up front, and it's very clear that they're acting in your best interest instead of trying to earn an extra buck. Very happy I found them. So far I've had tires, oil change and state inspection done here and each interaction has been great.

I wish I could give them 10 stars..There is no other Auto services that can compare FWATC. Great, Fast, Honest, very respectfully. They exceeded my expectations. Trust me and Thank me.

WOW, this place is awesome! I brought my newly purchased Astro van in for inspection (failed), and Betsy took great care of me. She was so nice and down-to-Earth, and totally upfront about what the repairs would cost. I feel really good about the price I paid and the service I received. Summer road trip is on!

1st I normally don t right a review unless it change my thought pattern about a place. But when I walked in to drop my f350 to get for inspection I already was blow. (Nobody in the area could inspect my truck because there logs couldn t support my truck weight) but I went here and they said no problem. But what won me over was the lady at the front ask me do I need a ride. I was like huh, this place takes you back home or to get food if you need it. I thought to myself day the only place I seen do this is enterprise car rental. But they were great and everyone was had great personality. At the end a older lady to me were to get tag and I didn t have to wait in the long lines or schedule a appointment at the MVA I appreciate her and thanks ED for helping me and tag2go for my tags.Service: Vehicle safety inspection

Dropped off our car using their night drop service. They contacted me first thing the following morning. The technician Derek was responsive and his team was able to resolve an issue another shop had refused to deal with. Everyone was friendly, honest, and professional. I will be making this my new go to mechanic!

This shop was great! I came in at 9 to get my tire looked at. They were able to fill the holes I had gotten. I came in as a walk-in and my car was ready 3 hours after. Cindy is just perfect. She squeezed me in and took care of everything promptly. They even offered me a ride back to my house since I lived close. The prices are great as well. I d highly recommend anyone with any tire issues to go see them.Service: Tires

I had a great experience getting my Maryland Safety Inspection done here. I dropped my car off, and they gave me a ride home and then back again. The car was ready on time (and it passed!). Betsy, Ted and Derrick were friendly and knowledgeable about the MVA Inspection requirements and took great care of me. I also got to see how they treated other customers and delivery people while I was there, and it was with the same friendliness and respect. I plan to use them in the future for my auto service needs!Service: Vehicle safety inspection

*HAD TO EDIT MY PREVIOUS REVIEW FROM LAST YEAR *Got an inspection done today and it was a good experience! Cindy was amazing. Great customer service the moment I walked in! She will make me do more business with Ft Washington Auto!******************************************Someone recommended this place because they said it was black owned and close to my house. My experience was not great. The manager constantly yells from the back while the service reps are speaking with customers. While waiting out front to pay, she is talking to the service rep about another customer.. negatively, while this customer was waiting. I was quoted wrong pricing and wrong parts to get. Although Sam was nice, the rest of the staff was not. I know they probably don't care but they will not get my business anymore.

I needed to get my emissions test passed so I took it to Fort Washington Auto & Tire Center. The reception of the staff upon arrival was so great and friendly. I received a daily update on the status of my car and when I needed to add on some additional items I needed the staff to look at, they responded with no problem. It was a great experience and I have found a new mechanic for our vehicles.Services: Electrical repair, Auto engine diagnostic

Shame on me for not writing this review sooner!!!I am still very grateful none the less.My son had difficulty trying to remove the lock nut on the front A-arm of his go cart. We didn t know anyone in this county to call on.I felt impressed to call Ft. Washington Auto and Tire Center. Praise the Lord Tamara answered the phone and was sooo willing to help!I was very pleasantly surprised that an auto shop (as busy as they usually are)would care about our problem .Lenny was great. He not only removed the old lock nut but he also put on the new A-arm!Way to go Ft. Washington Auto and Tire Center! You are blessed to have Tamara and Lenny as employees. Kind people like them are rare nowadays and really make all the difference.If they are this kind to me and they don t even know me, imagine if I made them my mechanic? Thanks again,Lynn

I had to come to Fort Washington Auto & Tire Center for an inspection and it was a seamless process. When I called to make my appointment I spoke to Cindy. She was professional, courteous and got me in immediately the next day. Upon arrival I was met by Robert who answered all my questions and made sure I was aware of the time it would take to inspect my vehicle. My inspection was done quickly and I had a great experience. I appreciate the professionalism and care that they took.
