If you have a dent, this is the place to go! Tommy is an amazing person with a compassionate attitude and passion for his shop. You can tell by how everyone greets you when you walk in the door that this is where you'll want to do business. I have major disabilities, and one makes communication a challenge. I was treated with respect, and Tommy was beyond patient with me. He assigned Alex to work on my Challenger. I can't begin to tell you how shocked I was at how sympathetic, compassionate, passionate, and friendly he was! One of my disabilities causes me to over-obsess about the littlest things. A dent on my car is more than enough to trigger a meltdown, as sad as that is. I got no judgment from anyone. Alex listened to every word I said and every negative experience I had so far trying to get the dents fixed. He then went into detail and explained everything in a way I could understand. He even educated me about drilling into the door, which every other company said I should do. I was unaware of the future damage that could cause or that I would see and then constantly fret over. He assessed my car and came up with the best solution for my dents. They are right on the seam of the metal, which makes them extremely difficult to get out. Fortunately for me, Alex knew exactly how to handle this and even how to work with my disability. He was courteous and didn't get annoyed with me for asking the hundreds of questions I had for him. I would apologize every time for talking too much, and he simply smiled and kept the conversation going. I didn't have to feel weird about talking to him or pointing anything out.Fast forward to now. My Challenger is dent-free. Alex even took the extra step without being asked to wipe off any residue on my car and keep my car pristine. This was also huge for me. Again, I must have everything a certain way, or mentally, I can't handle it. You can't even tell my Challenger was ever dented!I was and am beyond grateful for this company. I will go nowhere else. If they can fix it, I'm going straight to them! This is a place where you can feel comfortable and confident that you're getting the best service for the best price for anything you bring up that they can do! Thank you again, Tommy and Alex. You have a lifelong customer. I'll let everyone in my local car groups know about your shop! You deserve far more than 5 stars!

Tommy and Justin are your guys to call at Mudgetts for any vehicle work that may need done. Very knowledgeable in their field. Got a front bumper replaced and some front headlight work done. The guys went above and beyond to make sure I was completely satisfied. Also very easy working with Geico and Mudgetts. Highly Recommend!!

My car was damaged in two accidents in one week, I had loaned it to a relative (Yeah, I know). Both the front left corner and the rear were damaged. I scheduled the repairs with Keith at Mudgett's. I have to tell you that this was the best experience I have ever had with a body shop. They started when scheduled and the work was some of the best I have ever seen. Mudgett s did a great job on my boyfriends mustang! They completed it in a timely fashion, and were very good about giving updates when we asked. Tommy the GM is very kind & personable. They even offered to stay after hours so we could pick up the car same day it was finished. Mudgett's is a pleasure to deal with. Friendly, helpful and honest, in my experience. They replaced a crushed quarter panel on a then brand new car and 19 years later the repair is still perfect. I wouldn't take a car anywhere else for body work.

Tommy & Linsey were just amazing with help and answers and trust me I had a lot of questions. Remembering the "scratch experience" described below, I stopped by yesterday -- I had to be out in the area for something else -- because last week, I noticed similar scratches on my car, likely caused by another driver opening a car door in a parking lot. Tommy came out with the cleaner/solution and essentially got rid of those, too. Additionally, Tommy & Diana in the office assisted me last summer when someone dinged my car in a parking lot. (Lucky for me, I was sitting in my car when it happened so I was able to get their insurance information.) The customer service is always wonderful at this business and their auto body repair work is excellent. Highly recommended!Highly recommend Mudgett's for their excellent workmanship, professionalism and, most of all, honesty. Several years ago, they perfectly repaired the entire driver's side of my SUV that was damaged -- in some places quite extensively -- when I swerved to avoid a bike that fell off a rack on the car in front of me on the Expressway. Last week, I got a couple scratches (that appeared to be deep) on my current SUV. I took it to a body shop that my dealer recommended and they wanted to charge an exorbitant amount, claiming it was an involved repair. I drove out to Mudgett's today and after looking at it, Mike got some kind of cleaner/solution and in five minutes the scratches were essentially gone! They were not "deep in the paint" as the other shop claimed. Grateful to Mike and Diana in the office for all of their help!

I've chosen Mudgett's Auto Body several times for insurance claim related repairs, throughout the decade that I've owned automobiles. The 2 instances that stand out in particular, are when a deer jumped out in front of my mustang, causing front end damage. They used brand new OEM replacement parts and identically matched my aftermarket headlights as well, which had a much higher value than the OEM headlights. They installed the parts perfectly, with zero imperfections and the paint match was perfect. You could not even tell the car had been in an accident. My 2nd experience with Mudgett's was EVEN MORE IMPRESSIVE. I had a 2016 Ford Fiesta Titanium model which, someone had pulled out in front of me at the last second, creating a head-on collision and causing a devastating amount of damage to the car (and some physical damage to me). Again, I chose Mudgett's as my preferred body shop. The car had nearly $20,000 worth of damage from this accident (more than the value of the car), if new OEM parts with a warranty were used for the repair. The insurance adjuster from the other vehicle in the accident (the driver at fault) attempted to go the cheap route by suggesting cheap aftermarket parts to be used for the repair, which did not come with any type of warranty. This would have saved the insurance company from having to pay out for my car being totalled. However, the guys at Mudgett's refused the insurance adjusters request, since those parts could not come with a guarantee. Therefore, the insurance company was forced to total my car, which turned out to be the best possible outcome for me. Mudgett's really saved me from a lot of financial headaches down the road, because when those cheap replacement parts broke or failed, it would've cost me THOUSANDS of dollars to repair everything a 2nd time. Mudgett's could have just went along with the insurance adjusters plan, gave me cheap replacement parts, and made their money on the repair job. But instead, they did the right thing and protected a customer from future financial harm. This company not only provides A Grade quality work, but has also earned my complete trust, which is not a small task in this day and age. These guys are truly the best, and I recommend them to anyone and everyone. Mudgett's really sets the bar for how any company should operate. I'd rate them 6 out of 5, if I could. So thankful to have found Mudgett s. They are by far the most friendly, honest, and talented shop I know! All my experiences here have been amazing. I grew up in Westminster but now live in the Philadelphia area, without any hesitation I have and will drive two hours to bring my vehicles here. Highly recommend!Thank you!

I couldn't be happier with how my car turned out. It looks brand new! The team at Mudgett's did such an amazing job! Staff were friendly and helpful, they made the entire process very easy for me... A landscaper hit my car w/ his mower as well as shot rocks all over the front of the car, damaging the front bumper, hood, headlights and windshield... Mudgett's went above and beyond to get more money from my insurance company to do the job right and the end result is perfect! The paint matches perfectly and the car looks brand new! Thanks again! Mudgett's is absolutely fabulous. My car needed a new paint job due to oxidation of the paint. From the first call throughout the entire process Mudgett's took good care of me (and my car). They assisted with the insurance company and did extra work on the car without getting paid in advanced. They took car of the rental car when I returned it to the shop. Let's talk about there work absolutely fabulous: the car looks brand new: the paint matched great, the car was cleaned inside and outside and waxed and Mudgett's is just a wonderful friendly competent company that is above excellent. Mudgett's Auto Body is the best there is. Today I took my car in for an estimate to repair a non-working rear hatch door on a Rav 4. In 5 minutes, Mudgett's people found a way to fix the problem without any repairs and they charged me nothing. I had to insist twice before they even accepted a few dollars from me. What I got was the benefit of their years of experience, for free. Another shop would have charged me at least for extensive testing and maybe even a repair that was not needed. I recommend them highly. I drove there in the first place from my home in Owings Mills (to Finksburg) because I can always trust them.Service: Body & Trim

I've taken 3 different vehicles to Mudgett's over the past 2 decades and have always been pleased with their work. Ford, Toyota, BMW, they seem to be able to match any color to any make/model. The staff has always been as polite to me as possible. They'll even give you a ride if you happen to live within a few miles.

I originally went to Mudget's to get a quote for paint on my replacement hood. When I arrived the desk staffer built my quote, took me into the back of the shop and showed me the paint mixing room, introduced me to the painter and answered every question I had. I liked the experience so much, that I returned to add to my existing quote to get my entire car less 2 panels painted. After stating that my uncle works in auto body, the staffer the second time around stopped me in the middle of explaining what I wanted done to the car to tell me he wouldn't be able to match or beat my uncles price.Price was not a concern of mine. Attention to detail, and timeline were my only concerns. It is not my job to sell your work to myself, it is your job to give me the time of day to listen to what I want and let me decide if I'd like to give you the business.The second staffer, without listening to what I was looking for, immediately stopped me and said he would build me a quote. I'm not sure how you plan to build a quote without knowing what work needs to be done. I've worked in project management. I know what it means to overbid and purposefully reject a job.So unprofessional. So disrespectful. I will never consider this place for future body work, and I will no longer be recommending you to customers that come through my business.You've earned 2 stars for the first staffers incredible job at painting your business in a good light.

Very easy to work with. They keep you informed of any delays. Did an absolutely beautiful job repairing damage to my car and matched the paint perfectly. They worked directly with the Toyota dealer to align the blind spot monitors.

Had 2 great experiences! Front end re-build at expected cost & repair of fender & door due to deer hit. They could have charged a lot for replacement of door & fender plus paint, but kindly just repaired the dents & at very reasonable cost (out-of-pocket). Nice to know an honest shop!

We used Mudgetts because we wanted to use a family owned local business. The repair took 3 weeks. When I went to pick up my car, after paying, I was handed my keys and told my car "should be over there" with a gesture to the left. I found my car in the lot behind the fence. The door was fixed and the color matched but there were bubbles in the paint. Old parts were left in the back. The interior was filthy with lots of black marks on the light cloth interior, that were not there when I dropped it off. I was disappointed that no one reviewed the repair with me or asked if I had any questions. I was very disappointed with the condition of the interior. I appreciated that Mudgetts said they would take care of returning the rental car. That was a nice convenience.After my 2-star review, I got a phone call from Justin Mudgett. He apologized and offered to fix the bubbles and detail the interior. He offered a rental car so I would not be inconvenienced. I took him up on his offer. Justin was not available to speak with me when I arrived but Antonio reviewed the work, pointed out that my light interior is going to show dirt but offered to clean it up for me. He did not seem aware of my discussion with Justin but after returning to the waiting room, verified that my rental car was on its way. It took an hour to get the rental car and the rental agreement completed, with some confusion in the process. I received a call the next day telling me that my car was ready. This time when I arrived, Antonio walked me to my car. He showed me where they had fixed the bubbles and cleaned the interior. It was such an improvement over the original! I also received a $30 gift card to Westminster Car Wash for a thorough wash.I am adding a star to my rating because I appreciate the responsiveness and effort to "make it right." I just wish they had gotten it right the first time.

Rented a Uhaul from them. Always profesional and polite people in all of their business duties. Justin was awesome. Friendly, polite, and prompt. Felt that family owned and ran vibe. Great experience.

2016 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. Visiting our daughter in Westminster Maryland and my car was hit in the Cranberry Mall. I had no idea where to go to have it repaired. My daughter suggested Mudgett's Auto Body. A completely positive experience especially since I was leaving to go back home to Florida in 3 days. My car was repaired and looks like there was never an incident. Everyone I came in contact with was very understanding and extremely helpful. I got my car back in enough time that I was able to complete my trip as planned.

Mudgetts continues to provide great customer service on their repairs, and they do guarantee their work for the life of your vehicle. I had to have a repair fixed from 10 years ago and Mudgetts did their part after getting satisfactory info from the old insurance provider. I would definitely recommend them to others based on their willingness to stand by their work.

I give this shop one star. If I could give 0 i would. I took my car there to have a dent in the roof fixed from when a tree branch fell on it. My car came back with the dent fixed, but the paint job was messed up, they had over spray on the windows, the headliner was crinkled, there was crap all on the windshield, one of the trim pieces was bent, and they scratched up one of my wind defectors. I took the car back and when I got it back the second time everything was fixed. The paint was not perfect but it was okay. Then I noticed that they ground my wheel into a curb apparently and scratched it to hell. I was forced to buy a new wheel from the dealer and was out $500.00. The more they work on the car the more it progresses towards being totaled. They do more damage then repair. I should have kept the dent and my $1,700.00. They are rated high on Facebook because they take down all the negative reviews. My review was removed! They continued to call and try to make me feel bad for giving them a bad review and said they wanted the invoice so they could pay for the damage. Once I sent it they never paid. Beware!!

Have the pleasure of working with Andrew and Diana in the front office for repairs - on side door hinges-and painting/finishing on my cargo van.Excellent concise suggestions, time frames, communication, pricing, with extraordinary finished work, including cleaning of the vehicle, a real surprise inside and out on completion.In addition, there is a protected area for overnights of the vehicle.Convenient location access, too.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Very honest people. Came from the dealership overestimating the cost of repairs, Tommy from Mudgett fixed a windshield line and repositioned the headlight for free in 10 minutes. Very professional, kind and helpful. I highly recommend Mudgett's.

Andrew and the gang at Mudgett's have taken great care of me on several occasions. Although you hate to have to go to the body shop, they make it as pleasant as possible. Great customer service and great quality of work.
