Walked in and the guy behind the counter helped me immediately. I knew what I was looking for but was not too sure about the brand. He helped me and told me if I need to bring the part back I could. I didn't spend half as much as the dealership was charging me for the part.

Always such great service. Sometimes i get paint from here, sometimes batteries. Those type of products ive purchased elsewhere and the paint acts up, orange peels, or throws junk because it old on the shelf. Same issues elsewhere with batteries. Never had an issue with dated products here. The staff is so very helpful and friendly too.

Worst customer service, rotating staff with high turnover over rate!!! I asked for pricing on a list of things i needed for my project, the guy just stop helping me in the middle of everything and started answering phone calls then just continuously, blatantly ignored me even when he got off the phone and I was trying to get his attention. He was extremely lazy and nonchalant and multiple times gave me misinformation. I called the main office and no one ever picked up the phone!!!!

I called them ahead of time. They said they could fix my tire. Said they could air it up. I drove there slowly on a tire with 9lbs of air. When I arrived they said they couldn't help. They could have told me that on the phone.

So my daughter goes into Salvo's Auto parts Backriver Neck Rd location in Essex, MD. She went up to the MANAGER, MIKE, and asked where the plugs for tires were and his response was, "I'm so glad you ended that statement with for tires." Then sent her to the back of the store while he and two other employees laughed at her. I should hope other locations don't treat there female customers like this. When I went in to complain, I spoke to Mike and when I told him why I was there, the employee ringing up another customer started laughing. That employee never stopped laughing. Apparently harassing their female customers is a big joke and the manager admitted to me he was the one who made the comment. THIS IS NOT OK

My mom called the essex location to get a battery for her car and have it installed. They actually told her they would not install it. I recommended this place to her as I have been helped by them in the past. She is in her 70's and desperately needed a new battery installed. I had to drive over an hour to purchase (not from here)and install a new battery for her myself. I will no longer recommend Salvo. Customer service has gone down the drain.

Just spoke to John and Steven on the phone, asked if they carried a part, Steven jumped on and asked again what I was looking for, with an impatient tone asked if I had been the one in the store earlier looking for the same part?? (spark plug wire terminals. Not that crazy of a part). I told him no I was not (and I wasn't) and he said in a pretty rude tone "Well like I've said before, we don't sell anything like that here, nothing to build wires, only wire sets OK!!"Look I have pretty thick skin, but it's fairly aggravating to know if I may be the second person in a row looking for the same part that I'll get my head chewed off. Customer service is everything. Especially when you are competing with other big box stores. And if you turn me away before I even get to the store, my next move certainly won't be to come right in.

The assistant manager was a real blessing to helping us. He even assisted us outside, to make sure we were straight.Southern Hospitality At Its Best!!!

I went to this Salvo location seeking a battery check. Upon arrival there was a Salvo employee in the parking lot installing lights in a woman's vehicle. I inquired about the service that I was seeking and was told I would have to remove the battery myself and bring it into the store. No assistance was offered. Needless to say I got back in ny vehicle and took my money to another auto parts franchise where I was given excellent assistance.

I will never deal with Salvo auto parts again! I puchased a starter from them and it only lasts for 1 year at a time. For 2 years in a row I had to return my starter in August at the 1 year mark. I replaced my starter about 3 times before I had one that actually worked.When I contacted corporate, they tried to say maybe it was my mechanic or maybe it was my car. I resent having to defend myself for a defective part that I purchased from you, and is still under warranty! Im the one that had to pay my mechanic to take the starter out and replace it 3 times! I'm the one who had to travel back and forth to exchange the part! I will NEVER deal with Salvo Auto Parts again!

Been going to salvos for over 30 years. Picked up break pads . Removed wheels started removing old pads something didnt look right. Guess what wrong pads. Kind of stinks to have to put car back together to return and get right ones. Saying goes measure twice cut once.

This store is a joke ! Don't waste your time going there ! Go to FEDERATED AUTO PARTS , Got the part I needed the same day ! Took Salvo's 5 days and still no part ??

Went to buy batteries however the ones on the shelf were date coded 2 years old. Walked out, after associate said it did not make a difference.

More so like 2.5 stars because of the quality of the staff at this location and pricing. If I had to choose between here and AutoZone, I would choose AutoZone all day every day.

I think his name was john M F tried to sell me some wet spark plugs and tell me o no they look like that so I said why is it corrosion on the end of these plugs they funny gett he didn't notice my ASE certification

Prices are a little cheaper than bigger franchise auto parts dealers, I didn't really like the return policy on a brake light sensor, fortunately the part did work for me.

They sell the best brake pads ever. Try the ceramic 105 series Posi-Quiet, awesome pad.
