Bad experience with my oil change and tire rotation appointment. Got there for my appointment. The guy told me came back in one hour to pick up my car. But when I came back in one hour, he still worked on another car and didn t get to mine. I was told to come back another day or continue to wait. Then I waited for another half a hour, he didn t even get to my car. Never want to purchase Groupon for oils change at this store location any more. Such a waste of time.

I had an old change for a second time with them and again great experience. They were able to let me know what needed to be replaced immediately and what could wait. How could this place had a great review before? The Appt at 1pm. I came in at 1235pm. I waited until 220pm. before they were able to bring my car for a quick oil change. Leaving close to 3pm. Can you imagine spending 2.5 hr for an oil change? I will not be doing business with this location and this brand in the future.

Elizabeth was fantastic, knowledgeable and empathetic when educating me on what was needed for both of our vehicles. She was patient with me as my husband coordinated the visit. I will continue to do business here due to the quality customer service!

I didn't even have to wait 24 Hours after purchasing a Groupon to make a full synthetic oil and filter change plus tire rotation appointment! I drove from Glen Burnie, approximately 25 minute drive that was worth it. I was in and out in a little less than an hour, which I'll take anytime! Friendly staff and great service on my wife's new Traverse.

Very thorough with the inspection of my vehicles and took HD pictures of everything that needed attention, then forwarded the pictures to my phone. Communicated throughout my visits to ensure that I was not in the dark about where they were in the process.

Wish I could give zero stars. Place is a dump. Made an appointment for 11am, at 1215 I see my car hasn t moved so I inquire. They tell me it ll be another hour and a half for an oil change. That s absolutely comical. Why make an appointment? Avoid this place at all cost.

Honest Review. This place has the worst mechanics in Howard County. They are inexperienced and very slow. I got an alignment done on a 2018 Rav4. They took forever, and charged me 150 dollars and didn't fix the problem. Car still veering to the right and the steering wheel is no longer in alignment. The front desk guy. Black older gentleman, was the worst supervisor I have ever encountered. I paid and just left the location. I didn't want to deal with these lying jokers again. They are never busy. There is a reason for that. I will never go to a Meineke again, especially the one in Ellicott City next to the McDonalds. Don't go, you will regret it. Fair warning

Very bad and totally disappointing experience. Will never go there again. I was told over the phone that they were not that busy and I could come in and have my brakes done. I got there at 12:00pm, they took an hour before even bringing my car in to start working on it. I left there at 3:30pm. I only went there because Mr.Tire couldn t take me that day. While sitting there 2 other customers were there waiting 2hrs for only an oil change. This is the worst service I ve received ever. Hope the owner make changes to this business.

It s a great shop, they re friendly, and they took the time to check over the whole car. I knew that my car had some problems and they quickly diagnosed everything in the time it took to do an oil change and tire rotation!

I went to Meineke (Catonsville) to get my oil change via a Groupon deal and the Attendant was very professional, efficient and helpful. The Mechanic worked on my car quickly and provided me with real time updates with recommendations for repairs. In particular, he noticed that my 2 front tires were in immediate need of replacement. Since I was planning to go on a long road trip soon, this information was extremely important for me to know. I was very pleased with their service and will visit Catonsville Meineke again!-Lorna

My appointment time was 4pm. I arrived at 3:48. My car wasn't brought in until 4:40. The woman told me they were running about 30 minutes behind, and it was my choice to stay, so I don't hold that against them. I just came in for an oil change. They did that fine. I have no issues with the service.My reason for the 3-star rating is the policy. I came in using a deal I got from groupon. It wasn't until I got there that it was explained to me that they charge an additional $12 when a customer uses a third party coupon like that. Needless to say I wasn't going to pay it. Nowhere is that stated in the groupon ad.We were able to reach a compromise by them deducting that $12 charge and me foregoing the tire rotation that's part of the oil change. I was fine with that since I was going to get new tires soon anyway. So we were able to avid what was going to be an ugly situation.

Purchased Groupon for oil change and tire rotation. They lied and told me that they performed tire rotation, and when I confronted them, they questioned me how I knew it and then lied that my car didn t need it.And when they took it back to do tire rotation, they snuck BANANA into the exhaust to try to kill me. They are lucky I didn t file a lawsuit. NEVER GO THERE

The front women at the Ellicott city location really care about their customers experience and belongings. The mechanics are very good and timely with their business- unfortunately I had to have my car sit there for upwards of a month and they were sweet as pie about everything that went along with my nightmare of an insurance claim.(they were going to fix my car within 48 hrs if it was up to them!) they were all so empathetic to me- honestly hilarious- and gave great advice. Prices are great especially right now considering they are so quick with their great mechanic work. Always punctual and professional- always kept Meineke looking spotless. Came here via two Groupons. First experience last spring was fine. Today was frustrating because it took 2 hours and all they did was the oil change. I don t have that kind of time! Also one of their recommended services was changing the cabin filter, which I did myself just 2-3 months ago. So I know they didn t check it and it makes me wonder how reliable their other recommendations are.

Great service and the gentleman who changed my oil made it a point to let me know how much he loved my truck and how he had to use a ladder to change my oil! Great customer service!!!

I've been coming here for years. They always take good care of our cars. I also really like that when the car is in for service, they send you pictures of your car up on the lift, and anything that needs attention.

Great mechanic. Great workers- they helped and went above and beyond. This is my favorite meineke to go to because they care and they tell you what you truly need and what you can just get repaired not just try and sell you stuff. I went in for a diagnostic test for oil smoke and possible intake manifold issues. They gave me a COMPLETE readout about problems I knew about and ones I didn't, but, make sense.I go to these guys often.I have a one of a kind car,I want to keep it.Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

Got a Groupon and they still charged me a small fee for the disposable of the oil can. Times are tough and I got a Groupon for a reason! Not to spend extra money.

Got work done here a few months ago on my front wheel bearing, and came back because I was worried there was an issue. Customer service was friendly and helpful, and the techs took the time to explain what I was seeing. There was no fuss, no argument, and it turned out that there was no issue at all. Techs did great work, everyone had great attitudes. This is where I'll be taking my car for the foreseeable future.

Leo and his team that day were great. I was a little hesitant as there are some not so good reviews but I pleasantly surprised. They worked with me knowing what k could afford. They were real with me on what needed done but what could wait. I was there a couple hours but understandable as they were super non stop busy with appointments, walk-ins and the phone. Never stopped though for a break. I really appreciate their help. The price was reasonable for what I had done as well as constant great communication and friendly attitudes. I am very satisfied and will definitely come back!Services: Tire rotations, Brakes, Oil change

Wish I could leave zero stars! Went here for a service, they said they found a lode of other issues. Left and got a second opinion from a reliable and experienced mechanic and those 3 other issues were either non existent or not as urgent as they portrayed.Adding my second experience:I would not recommend this location. This was my second time here and after getting a second opinion, like the first time, I was again sold an overpriced and unnecessary service. My latest experience: When I first walked in for my oil change appointment, the first thing the receptionist said was "smile", in a condescending manner. Also when first arrived, I asked again for a time estimate, the service took much longer than they told it would. During the oil change, they went in my glove compartment, emptied it out and left all my contents over the floor. When leaving, I was told my key would in the cup holder but instead I had to rummage around and find it under the mess that they made.Overall, over priced, not welcoming and twice estimated overpriced and some unnecessary services. I would say shop around for other auto mechanics in the Catonsville/ Ellicott City and get second opinions.One quick add on, the labor estimate was around $600- $700 and the 1 part was around $500 (This was for 1 strut).

I recently took my car to Meineke Car Care for an oil change. I was greeted by Pedro, the service writer, who was very friendly and helpful. He explained the different services that Meineke offers.When Pedro found out that my car didn't have any oil in the engine, he was understanding and explained that it was a company policy to not do an oil change until the car has oil pressure test. However, he went ahead and put some oil in my car so that I could drive it to another location to get an oil change.I was very impressed with the professionalism and customer service of Pedro and the rest of the staff at Meineke Car Care. I would definitely recommend this business to anyone who needs car maintenance or repairs.

So my muffler rusted apart and I went to my Honda dealer like always. No muffler. No estimate on when they might get one. I went to this Meineke which did a muffler on a pickup up of mine 20 years ago. Elizabeth had a muffler at the shop in two hours and I had my Civic back that day. This is likely my new service center.
