Excellent customer service! I went in to get my battery tested/replaced. Everyone in and around the store treated me with kindness. There turned out to be something else wrong with my vehicle and the representative who helped me even reminded me to take pictures of his diagnostic tool so that I could better explain my issue to the repair shop. Great, family friendly music playing in the store as well!

This business is actually a miniature auto repair shop disguised as an auto parts store. In the last few years I have bought batteries and windshield wipers from them, and each time these items were installed for free. Not only that, the installation of the wipers was done extremely quickly and in a light rain. No one should be surprised that they have to pay a few dollars more here than ordering from Amazon. Advance Auto Parts offers their expertise and skill in a most unselfish way.

Had a check engine light on my Ford Edge. They promptly checked my car for faults and wrote the codes down for me and suggested several local repair shops that could help. Every time I ve been in the store, which has been many times in the past I am always impressed by their service. I would highly recommend this auto parts store.

I m not sure it this is typical for an auto parts store return policy but I was disappointed to find after purchasing a battery (being told that the old one I brought in was bad) tried to return a couple days later when that was not the issue. I was told that they would not allow me to return the battery for a refund or credit. I explained that the battery was not the issue nor was it been used to start the mower.Apparently the policy is that once a battery is purchased regardless of what you do with the battery is unable to be returned. I hate to say that I will have to start going back to the big box store for future auto purchases.

It's truly amazing and shocking to leave an auto parts store feeling like you left the aquarium or something. It was enlightening to feel the sale was truly meant to be made. Isaiah(hope I spelled it correctly) deserves accolades for the dedication he showed when guiding me through purchasing oil for my car and even informed me on the rewards system and how I was missing out on my sales. I left with so much information that I could feel anything but secure in my purchase today and will surely be here for my parts unless it is in dire need or outrageous price comparison or something.... even then I might be too quick to hurry up back in panic to the same place to give high vibrations. Thanks my day has been even more productive because you came to work today in such a crazy time.

I called the store with a factory GM part# and they said they had 2 of them in stock. Over the phone, he described the hose amd it was what I needed.At the store, they said they couldn't lookup the part with a factory part number. I found the dorman part number and they said they were out of stock.

Needed a jump yesterday for mysterious reasons - maybe need a new battery? Clerk promptly and kindly came outside and ran a test that gave feedback on battery, alternator, and generator. "All good" he said, suggesting maybe a light had been left on. I don't know but I do know where to go for miscellaneous car stuff. This is my second very positive experience here.

Twice now I have gone into this location and have heard, among other things, "Soulja Boy" blasting on the speakers. Totally not OK for a standard retail environment, where children are frequently brought.

OMG Melanie is amazing!! And SO chill. She knew what exactly parts I needed, how to install and help me install the items. She could probably run the whole store. I would trust her!! Great service.

Went in to buy windshield wipers. There were no other customers in the store. Employee I talked to at the counter seemed really annoyed I was even asking him questions. Other employee was just on their phone minding their own business.When the correct wipers were identified in the system for my car, he was reluctant to even walk 10-15 feet to point them out to me, eventually he did since I walked past them.If you don't want to work with customers, don't be customer facing. Probably isolated to this location, I'll try other locations and autoparts stores in the future.

This is one of those rare auto parts store where the staff are knowledgeable and very friendly. It seems that is becoming more and more rare. I shop here regularly, placing online orders for in-store pickup. The staff actually called me recently when an order I placed didn't have sufficient stock in the store, but managed to get the products the next day. I certainly didn't expect to receive a call, but I would have wasted a trip otherwise. Great people here.

Wonderful customer service. I ve gotten batteries from there for years and they do a wonderful job installing them the gentleman I worked with tonight was very informative about the types of batteries they have and he was very careful when changing my battery. He also was very good about cleaning up rust and removing dust and things from around the battery and the terminals. I will be going back to them for years to come.

Advance is making up the price as they talk to you. Today I asked the counter guy for an air filter for my Ford. He consulted the computer and went into the back area to bring back the item. I asked for the price and he said "the computer says 5 cents". Obviously a mistake, I asked if he could check again. Immediately, a second counter guy came over and said "$20.99, that's the average price for an air filter." I asked if there was a second, more reliable source for this item's price like a shelf price or other computer entry. The second counter guy's answer was "No, we can't sell it for 5 cents, our average filter is $20.99. Do you want it for that price?"I refused the item. Outside, I checked Amazon, they listed it for $15. I went down the street and bought the same size air filter at NAPA for $17.

Two employees standing in empty store at 720pm. Guy says he can't help check my battery with only TWO people in an empty store. Well...Sorry to interrupt your conversation. Won't come back ever. Another lost customer.

Advanced auto 21042 saved the day again. Nigel Mitchell and staff are knowledge and have amazing customer service. The shop is located conveniently off of RT40, online shopping and in store experience have been easy. Rear brakes and rotors were a fraction of the price compared to Suburu Catonsville and the customer service is incomparable. Bought a battery from them in 2017 and just now replaced. I am confident on the recommendations and guidance from Nigel and all of the AA staff. Could not recommend enough. Good job. Thank you!!!

Good service quality employees that know what they're doing. A good place also to go if you need your windshield wipers or battery replaced. They do it all right there.

Friendly, knowledgeable clerk greeted me upon entering, figured out what wiper blades I needed, rang me up, installed new blades in the parking lot and had me back on the road in under five minutes. I was pretty happy until I got home and discovered that amazon sells exact product for half the price.....so was friendly service and "free" installation worth the extra $30....I suggest you decide in advance. :/

So originally I would have rated this store at a minus 5 stars. I went in Jaunary 1 2021 for a battery replacement on my laser key fob. Adnan, customer service representative, replaced the battery and broke my key fob leaving it inoperable. He was rude and mechanically unknowlegable. I contacted the manager Brad who was less than helpful to say the least and seemed to out right lie about speaking to me and the information relayed to him by Tyler the assistant manager at the time. Tyler the assistant manager at the time was extremely helpful but he was releved of his duties and moved to another location. Brad was no longer there either after a few months and I was ultimately left in limbo. He seemed like they were have a turnover in staff frequently. Finally, I spoke with Nigel Mitchell, Assistant Manager, in mid July. He was extremely helpful and responsive and assured me I would no longer be ignored in regards to my claim and be reimbursed for the cost of a new key fob along with the reprogramming and replacing it at my car dealer.I only write good reviews when the outcome is great and the service is plausable. Thank you Nigel for professionally overseeing my claim and expediting the prolonged issue. After speaking with Nigel Mitchell the situation was rectified and resolved without seeking 3rd party intervention. I jow give 5 stars because of Nigel. All the best in future managerial endeavours Nigel.

I recently went to advanced for a battery install. I was nervous as my husband is usually the one that takes care of these things, but the service was excellent. Devin took care of everything and made sure I was out in a timely manner as I was in a bit of a rush. I would recommend going here and asking for him!

Had an unfortunate incident while the battery was replaced. Manager Corey and the assistant manager Tyler did not hesitate to help us and compensate for the damages. Highly recommended for their kindness and professionalism.

I bought a guaranteed to fit headlight replacement for my 2006 Town and Country. Except the headlight harness was wrong. The bolts to connect it not long enough. What should have taken 10 minutes took half a day chasing down parts to make my guaranteed to fit replacement actually fit. Oh. Bonus. The online stock for the additional parts I needed were out of date, meaning that they said they were in stock, but actually they weren t. Four stores later I finally had all the parts needed to fulfill their guarantee. Sorry you ve had a bad experience - can I offer you a discount next time? This entire business is the worst I have experienced in 60 years. Hope they fail miserably and go out of business.

Yeah, I think they've been alright here. Better than some auto parts stores I've been in, not as good as others. Been able to pick up a battery and spark plugs on a couple of visits, so those were successes. It's an auto parts store; there's not much more to say.

Devin was extremely helpful!! I typically don t like going to auto parts store but Devin made the process super easy and was the most knowledgeable guy I ve bet in one of these stores. I highly recommend this location and a huge thumbs up to Devin!

Adnan deserves a 5 Star. He was patient with customers before me and very helpful and patient during my transaction. Had a few issues and resolved no problem. Customers were complaining behind me about needing more staff, but two people handled it just fine.

Today I visited the Advanced Auto in Ellicott City to have a Battery checked out. The Technician (Randy) was fantastic. He was servicing 3 cars in parallel and was not only efficient but extremely pleasant. He even went the extra mile after testing and replacing my battery to have me test all my lights and turn signals. Shout out & Kudos to Randy !!!

Lucky for me the service person was very nice. He showed me the prices from the computer of the different items I wanted. We went over what i currently have to what i needed. I felt as if they were more than fsir with the prices and with explaining alot of things to me. As i was ready to make my purchases I called my mechanic and verified wvwryeverything. Would havw had five stars but paeking sucked.

Although I was grateful for the discount for the 4th of July, I showed up at this location after needing a jump start due to a dead battery (it was 7 years old) which I knew was coming. The gentleman who helped me was very fast an efficient however I felt that his demeanor and comments were rude. He told me "take better care of your car". This was out of line in my opinion as a dead battery has nothing to do with the "care" of my vehicle. I will not use this location in the future.
