I believe I've taken 3 cars here for MD State Inspection over the years and I have always been treated professionally by an honest upstanding business. I would recommend Mendenhall's Garage to anyone looking for an inspection or an automotive service.

Nothing short of AMAZING!Don t hesitate to take your vehicle here.. they had me in and out of there, back on the road in short order.. the price was fair, the service excellent and most importantly they won t rip you off Thank you to the Mendenhall team!!!

They got me in very fast and we're very knowledgeable! I honestly wasn't sure what to expect but they did great for inspection! Unfortunately my car didn't pass but will be calling for my next appointment this week!

I called with a problem, drove it over, and immediately they looked at it while I sat and waited. The work was done I in unexpected quick time. The price was lower than expected. I'm happy.

They are very accommodating. I dropped off 2 tires to have them mounted and balanced on the car, they received them and had they done the same day. Best to call first.

I highly recommend Mendenhall s garage. Mr. Mendenhall was polite and professional. He answered all of my questions, even if it did require time to find the information. Responded quickly with call back of a very fair quote, very accommodating, service was done in a very timely manner by knowledgeable mechanic, and it came out to exactly what was quoted. Jay, Patsy, John and the rest of the crew are trustworthy and do quality work. Oil change, battery replacement, engine work - I ve had it all done here. Jay does the work that needs to be done, and doesn t try to sneak in work that should be done. This family owned business is a gem.

Mendenhall s Garage was fantastic. They gave me a reasonable quote on a trailer inspection and we re forthright and honest about what needed fixed. They took a little longer than some places might have but the time trade off was worth it considering the lower cost and quality of work I knew would be done. Definitely recommend them if you want to support local business and appreciate honesty, understanding and quality work!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Electrical

Do you know a good mechanic? We have all been asked this question, or we have asked it ourselves. Well I no longer have to ask, and I won t wait for for people to ask me because I have already started telling everyone I can that Mendenhall s Garage is top notch.I just moved the family to Maryland and we had to take part in their state inspection. I asked around and no one really had a good suggestion of a mechanic, and even more so, most people said the one they went to was a crook.I took a shot in the dark, and Lord Have Mercy I found a great one! Jay did both of my cars and the whole process went super smooth. He did not find anything that I was not aware of and I could not have felt more comfortable with the whole thing.I even had him fix the few things wrong, and his prices were great! Super honest company. I even called other shops, and man, it was insane how much more they wanted for the job than Mendenhall s.I don t even think my review can do it justice, but I just had to let it be known that this company rocks, and I will be bringing my cars back(hopefully not too often), but whenever needed I no longer have to ask around because I got a good mechanic!Thanks Mendenhalls!

Best place to get a Maryland inspection for your vehicle. They are very professional, kept us up to date on what was needed and how long it would take. Quick and easy to make an appointment! I would highly recommend them for all your service needs!

I had a good opinion of this shop before yesterday. I brought my car in for a basic safety inspection and it left disabled on a tow truck. They shrugged their shoulders at me and took no responsibility. Don't bring your vehicle here unless you want them to destroy it. If you must, make sure you take evidence of your vehicle's condition before bringing it to them.

Mendenhall's were great. Looked at the car quickly. Informed us of the possibilities best and worst cases. They figured out the issue, ordered parts and car was repaired in time frame given and for quoted price. Kept us up to date. Car is running great. From the first phone call felt very confident and highly recommend.

I recently had tire problems. When I took my car to Jay at Mendenhall's Garage, he informed me that I needed four new tires. He checked prices, ordered the tires , took me home and put the tires on the car the next day after they were delivered. My car was returned before dinner that day. I had my Toyota scheduled for oil change and brakes. Scheduling was easy and work was done on time at a reasonable price. Also, Jay actually did an extra minor repair without charge, and he followed up after to make sure everything was good.

I highly recommend Mendenhall's for all of your auto repair/inspection needs. After another auto shop attempted to sell my girlfriend an unnecessary alignment (her car is perfectly aligned), we decided it was time to take her money elsewhere. I scheduled an appointment to have tires mounted/balanced, her car inspected, and the oil changed. They did all this work quickly and at a fair price. They also did not try to rip her off with unnecessary repairs, Mendenhall's knows how to do business.I chose Mendenhall's based on the Google reviews I saw, I could not have been happier with my choice. They were efficient, professional, and extremely friendly. This is now our choice auto shop.

Mendenhall's Garage and my family have been doing business together for more than twenty-five years. Whenever the car or the lawnmower need service, they take them in quickly and repair them quickly and for a very fair price! They even bring them back to my home if I can't pick them up! You can't find service like THAT anywhere else! I can't recommend them highly enough!!

Excellent customer service at reasonable prices for my auto and lawn mower repairs. They have been in business for over 80 years, why would I go anywhere else? I trust Jay and his staff to fix my car right the first time, every time. I highly recommend Mendenhall's Garage for your car and lawn mower repairs.

Recently had some problems with a front wheel making metal on metal noises. Brought it to Jay who scheduled us in for the next day. Turns out brakes where needed on the front, handled things very smoothly and had a fair price for the service, would recommend Mendenhalls for these types of problem. We have used them in the past for alternators and a gas leak and each have been handled smoothly.

Excellent service and communication. They took the extra time to inspect the U-Haul truck and repair the tire. I would not hesitate to rent from here as well as take my vehicle here for service.

I had my car in recently for an inspection and some repair work. They were very upfront with the cost and got the work done in timely manner. John was able to find the source of a rattle that have been present for over 2 years. Numerous mechanics had looked at it and not been able to find the source of the problem. Turns out it was a loose bolt! Thank you guys!
