I took my Jeep Wrangler in to get all 5 new tires installed. From the moment I walked in, I was kindly greeted and helped right away. Christian was an absolute gem and reassured me that they would take the utmost care of my vehicle. When it was finished, they let me do an inspection to make sure none of my rims were damaged and I liked how it looked. I'm so happy with the new tires and everything looked good and no damage :)

This Costco tire center is direct and honest. Had my full set done here as well as had two flats fixed, and each time had no complaints and was satisfied. Would schedule an appointment, walk-ins can take much longer.

Mr Lawton who helped me order my tire because it was not in stock at any Costco tires facilities. (He checked). He then changed the tire for me. Thank you doing an excellent job.

This place is having worst phone atticate the front desk guy answers call at just opening store at 9 am and say hold on without listening and then another lady picks up after i am on hold for more than 30 minutes she picks up and say hold on again then after being tired on hold from couple of days i made a decesion to pick up my ordered tire today and their supervisor showed up who does not know how to provide any customer service and do not wish to apologize for his staffs rude phone atticate oh why did you call you can set up online appointments? why you picking up your tires we can install it here tomorrow morning as if people have nothing else to do in life and just bear their rude behavior.after one week of back and forth with them and be on hold for several times finally I picked up my tire from Columbia costco tire center and install my tire at another costco store.I do not recommend this center to have tires replaced until this tire center learn how to provide some customer service and change their staffs rude behavior. They need to learn to earn business otherwise they will be out of business soon.

Came here with a flat tire without an appointment about 40 mins before closing. They inspected quickly, took the car and fixed it just before closing. The staff is friendly and understanding.

Got a screw stuck in my tire mid afternoon on a Sunday in the parking lot at Lowe s around the corner. Called and the team at Costco s Tire Center told me to come on over and they d get me checked in and in line. They took our car, gave us a number, and had it plugged and patched by 5:30! Best part? Only cost me 10.99 and an afternoon of my time. I was so happy I could ve cried. Other places I called just in case Costco couldn t get to us by closing time literally laughed at me on the phone for calling so late in the day, but the folks at Costco couldn t have been nicer about it. Saved me a major headache later in the week. Shoutout to the tech, Clement, and Christian up front for helping me and my husband out!

This is the worst service if you have to repair a flat tire. We were been asked to be there at 10am. There is mo appointment system for tire puncture so they did not take our car until 1.30pm. They asked us to leave the car and walk around and did not give the timeframe. In between they were taking all appointment vehicles. This is ridiculous. They need to come up with the proper system for small work. This is waste of everyone s time. Please stay away from costco tire center if you want to repair the flat tire. Warranty does not mean any guarantee for small work

The Columbia Maryland is terrible they waste your time at the tire area was told 3 hr wait it s been five still stuck here. And the people here just don t seem to care. Should have gone to Arundel Mills location they are faster and much more kind.. save yourself a lot of time and driver the extra 10 miles to go there

Not worth the whole repair, rotation package deal. They kill the whole day for flat tire repair. The flat tire happens on the go and they want us to schedule online for flat tire. Ridiculous!Edit: After 3.5 hrs wait and asked the key and took to the nearby local repair shop and they fixed immediately for $20.Costco service is overrated! Managers are like robots, no common sense!

Disorganized. Walked in and no employee was behind the desk. Then a customer walks in as employee walks up the desk. Employee didn't even bother asking the people sitting if we were there first or was waiting.

They honored the appointment and were done on time, however they damaged all four of the wheels while putting on the tires.On each wheel there are deep gouges by the tire stem that are all nearly identical in size, shape, and location..

Even after an hour, after my appointment, I was still not seen! Overwhelmed and rude staff! Would give them a zero star rating if I could. Went to the Hanover location and was seen quickly and professionally! You re better off going to the Hanover location!

Costco has good tires and prices; however, don't expect a great customer service experience. The staff is too busy to provide customers with much help especially once you have purchased your tires. If you want to register the tires for potential safety recalls, I suggest you ask them about this before you drive off in your car.

Came to rotate my tires and they put wrong stud than what I have in my tire. I m glad that I checked all four tires before I left. When I told them about it , he told me -that s what I had initially.Then I told him no I didn t. Then he was like I need to talk to his manager if so.I said okay no problem, I have the proof of what I have. Then he apologized and asked me to pull my car and they will changed it with what was supposed to be. Why to lie and assume people will not know anything ? I understand, you guys are busy and things happen. Should take accountability instead of making things up. Anyway, thanks for correcting your mistake.

Super slow staff and they don t honor the information they provide. I went for a flat tire since I bought my tires from them. I was waiting for 2 hours to tell me my tire can t be fixed because nail was close to sidewall. They also suggested to replace all my tires for wear. I agreed to buy new tires but they had to order them. I was told my tires will be in within the next two days. I waited until next day, I talked to a supervisor on the phone and he said it may take 5 days! The worst customer service ever!

I would give negative points if possible. I came in for a simple tire rotation and tire balance with decently good condition of my tires. After I left I found tires were improperly inflated, also two of my tires I ve been losing air very rapidly despite filling up twice over the last two days.I do not think I will go there to buy and install new sets of tires cause that could be a disaster leading to even more expenses given the quality of work in my case.

Awful experience. Took numerous phone calls to even schedule an appointment as no one would pick up the phone, or would be put on indefinite hold as soon as they picked up the phone. Finally made the appointment and when I showed up I find out they made the appointment for the wrong week. They can t fit me in so they treat me as a walk in. Substandard service skating by on the Costco name.

Great service. I arrived, no appointment, with my donut spare on at 3:24pm on Sunday afternoon. They got me out of there with 4 new tires by 4:40pm. I had worn out my tires, so I wasn't surprised that they couldn't plug the leak. They provided constant, fare updates on the time-to-wait. And, they provided clear communication on the cost. While I was there, I watched them sell someone a battery, repair someone else's tire, finished up several scheduled tire replacements, and scheduled several service sessions for later in the week. Definitely a busy shop, but clear at communicating the state of things.

This was my second time at Costco tires in two months. The first time was during a week day. It was slower than a weekend day. I asked one of the fellows working if I needed new tires. I think his name was Robbie. He checked them all and told me they were in pretty good shape. Today, I went into the tire center to buy tires. I told Christian that I didn't know if I needed new tires or not. He went with me to check them out and told me they were still good. I then mentioned that my tire light was continuously on. He told me to pull the car up and he would check them out. He told me the pressure on the tires was all over the place, and to pull my car over by the air hose, and he or another manager would fill my tires. I pulled over, and a manager named Toni again checked the tires, filled them up, and the sensor light went off immediately. Definitely will buy my tires here in a couple of months. Honest, patient guys.

I read a lot of bad reviews and wasn't so sure about this place. But, I was pleasantly surprised by Faizal's customer service. A very helpful and a sweet dude. He'll be my go-to guy from now on!

I called ahead of time to ask if they could install tires I purchased elsewhere - not a problem, great!When I get there, they were friendly enough, and I paid and put the marker on top of my car while I went into the store to have lunch.Shortly after I got a call that the tires I purchased didn't have the right weight rating for my model of car, and that I needed V rated tires instead of H rated, and that they would be happy to sell me some V rated tires from their current inventory instead of using the tires I supplied.First off, that is a speed rating, not any kind of weight rating. The load index on my new tires were much better than the original, and the difference between H and V is the top rated speed (130 vs 149). I called my tire supplier to verify compatibility with my model and they agreed that it was compatible according to their system and in fact superior to the original tires (which had a lower load index but the V rating).Costco refused to install the tires no matter what the supplier said, and I couldn't even get the refund processed at the tire center - had to go through the store again to the customer service area to process the refund, then all the way back to move the car.This was clearly an excuse to either not have to install the tires or they just wanted to sell me some new ones, and didn't like the fact that I understood that a speed rating was different from the load index. Merchant Tire had no problem installing my tires.This experience certainly makes me reconsider the benefits of being a Costco card holder.

Ordered tires a week ago, and per the email, it said I could schedule my appointment in advance since I could input the day I ordered the tires. I had my appointment scheduled for today, but I just got the shipment notification yesterday. I attempted to call the tire warehouse to confirm if my tires were there on two separate occasions (and on the second time, I called 3 times and no answered). I called administration to clarify the issue, and was met with a rude manager, who seemed frustrated that I tried to schedule my appointment in advance. The website literally told me I could schedule it, this isn't a way to speak to your customers. When I inquired about a shipment arrival, the manager was again exasperated that I wanted to know when my tires would arrive. I haven't even gotten them replaced, but this will be the last time I order tires at this location since they don't seem to prioritize their customers. Do yourself a favor and stay away from them too, and apparently don't call administration for a question since it's too bothersome for them.

Bought 4 tires for our SUV at the Columbia location. Received excellent professional service and saved a lot of money ! They also check tires and add air if needed, even ifyou are not a customer! My first time buyingtires from Costco and won t be my last! Ido not personally know any of the employees!

I really dislike writing bad reviews for a business, but my experience with this tire center today had me frustrated. My husband and I had booked appointments a couple weeks ago for both of our vehicles to have tire rotations. We arrived half an hour early for the first appointment and found out that despite having planned ahead and made appointments as they had suggested doing to avoid a wait, we still had to wait in line to check in for our appointments. I don t have an issue with waiting in line, but when I had to stand in line for 50 minutes to check our cars in for our appointments, it was extremely frustrating. I had erroneously thought that booking appointments would have minimized the wait time.When we returned to pick up our cars, we again had to wait 15-20 minutes to be helped. I had asked the lady who called to let us know the cars were ready whether we would need to stand in line or if we could simply walk in and pick up the keys, having already paid for the services. She assured me we would be able to walk in and pick up the keys. When we finally received the keys, one of the keys was the incorrect key and when I returned to let the service desk know, they did not believe me at first. Only after I asked to please try the only other key in their pile of finished vehicle keys did they allow me to see if that would unlock our car. lol and behold it did!Needless to say my husband and I will be looking elsewhere for our routine car service needs.

Don't expect good service here. On Friday morning, 11/22/19, I brought in my car for an appointment to have 4 tires installed, and was told it would take about an hour and 45 minutes. Two hours passed and I hadn't heard anything, so I went and sat on the bench at the counter. After three hours passed, it occurred to me to go outside and look in the parking lot. My car was there and all finished. The guy who took my order (Chris) knew who I was, and knew who I was, because he had initially questioned that it was my appointment. For an hour, he saw me right in front of him, and said nothing about my car being ready. When I got the work order, I saw that it took then only an hour and 30 minutes. I take this as an insult. There are lots of places to get automotive work done, and no reason to return to Costco Tire Center.

I purchased tires from the Costco website, which is very well priced, but turned out that I purchased a set of tires with racing tread rather than standard tread. Dominic at the tire center thankfully pointed this out to me and recommended a set of Michelin tires which were on sale that month, which he ordered and went ahead and refunded the other set that I had originally ordered. I came back a few days later once the tires came in and they had them on and aligned properly in under an hour. This was definitely one of the few hassle-free tire buying experiences I've had & I'll definitely shop here again.

Had such a great experience here!The two gentlemen working the front desk on 2/14/22 around 5pm were the friendliest and extremely helpful! They helped make an unpleasant experience, pleasant.They gave accurate quote times and they kept offering ways to accommodate my family while we waited.Thank you! We ll be back!

Home of the slowest most under staffed location for repairs. Also every nail I ve ever had has been unfixable and I take it elsewhere and it can be plugged. They don t want to honor their road hazard. They also do not have any run flat tires in stock so they must be ordered to the store everytime which take days
