Worst Experience ever and its still not over..4th trip coming soon, to fix a 7 month old vehicle.I'm leaving this review because I want Toyota and the People that build these Excellent Vehicles to know how this place is fixing them and calling there selves Toyota Certified and a Gold Standard. Please take a look at there work over the last 3 visits.You will see the scratches to the fender and also how they installed the black trim above the tire well..Nice job..that was only the beginning...next time in.. look at the bumper cover, looks like we dont check to make sure its on or a faulty part, o well the customer wont notice...or just blame the insurance company...that aways works...Wrong...third time in, another New bumper cover nice Orange peel paint job(right below the headlight, best view) ..The Nightmare continues and so does the countless time I have lost over a vehicle that they said each time was 100% fixed..Fyi....I already reached out to the Business owner he was to busy to talk to a customer, so I decided to leave this Review..

If I could rate this collision center past 5 stars I would. I got rear ended, they took of care of me in less than a week. Rental car onsite, and the front desk lady (first desk behind the front desk) was extremely helpful. I received updated every two days. I had a dent and some damage on my door unrelated to this repair, they even gave it a little bit of TLC to make it look good! I'm beyond grateful for this shop and their staff!!!!!!!!!!

I cannot recommend this business enough. Sue and her team worked with me and I will be going back for every car repair I need moving forward. To start, I got into a car accident which teetered the line of 'totaling' my car, but it wasn't quite enough to reach it, and therefore I had to get it repaired. With the current market, I knew every place was going to be backed up, but this company was the only one willing to even make room for me - everyone else turned me down. Sue was VERY communicative and transparent about the backup of work everyone was having in the industry, and gave me a fair estimate of when they'd work on it. Even with this, they beat those expectations on when they'd begin and were proactive in looking for every part they'd need rather than working piecemeal which would've made the process longer. There were a LOT of parts for the vehicle that were needing to be ordered, so although there was a long wait time for those (no fault of the shop), Sue's team communicated with me proactively EVERY WEEK, and I even received pictures personally to show the updates. They did everything in their power to get the vehicle back to me as soon as possible and they did not skimp. I even came back again about a month or two later for other cosmetic issues after straightening out some insurance coverage issues and they turned the car around in 3 days! Still with the utmost professionalism and communication, they fixed my issues quickly and above all expectations. They looked into other issues that I was inquiring about as well just to make sure all of my concerns were put at ease. They even returned the inside and outside of my car cleaner that it was when I gave it to them and gave me a spare car part just in case it would come in handy in the future! Even as a client that wasn't personally paying (insurance paid everything), they treated me as a valued customer as if I was. Couldn t be happier with how Thompson handled my claim. They were able to get everything ordered and started working to fix the car immediately. They were aware of constraints on my end and worked tirelessly to get my vehicle fixed and back to me in time. Steve provided updates along the way to keep me informed. Definitely recommend and will be using them again if needed.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Headlight repair on a 2016 Camaro. Very Professional and nice job when work completed. Garrett was our representative and he went beyond great customer service. All those involved were very kind. I needed a ride to and from the center. The personnel were more than kind and friendly. They placed a badge on my car as a well as replaced a light bulb in the other light and fuses as a courtesy. I would definitely recommend them for future repairs!

The staff and the work they do is nothing short of amazing. I scratched my car up really good and they provided me with an affordable estimate, and an accurate timeline in which they would have my car repaired. They also called every other day to update me on the status of my car, and even made sure that I had a rental in the meantime. Extremely friendly and professional service. It s like the damage was never there. 5/5 highly recommend.Service: Body & Trim

My car was taken here for repairs after hitting a deer. My deductible is kind of high but they gave me options and time to pay. My car was done in about a week and a half to 2 weeks. When I picked up my car OMG it looked like a brand new car! I mean like wow! They detailed the interior and everything . My littles even asked was it a new car lol. LOOK, BRING YOUR CAR HERE FOR BODY REPAIRS YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! Oh and Mrs. Sue is awesome

I had a very bad experience with this shop. My friends warned me that this shop did not take care of customers. I did not believe in my friends because this is authorized by Toyota. My husband needed to get the car fixed. They got the car in a long time and when we called them and be requested to wait for them. They needed to repair the car carefully. After waiting a long time, my husband called them back and they responded to my husband in rude speaking. Finally, we got the car returned but the quality was very poor and they asked for thousands of dollars. It was worthless and unacceptable. I do not recommend and please stay away this shop. Staff were unfriendly and did not respond any emails form customers.

My man Garrett was beyond AWESOME!!! From start 2 finish he made my experience, fixing my bumper, dealing with the insurance co, & keeping me in the loop every step of the way. Funny story, The day I brought my car in for service we were having severe thunderstorms, along with myself and two or three other people we were all dropping our cars off at the same time and poor Garrett was helping all of us. I say poor Garrett because he was soaking wet at 8 o clock in the morning and had the rest of the day to go. What a trooper he still had a smile on his face. That s the end of my rant. Hope this gave you a good laugh Garrett. Give this man at least a raincoat but definitely a raise or a higher position he definitely deserves it for all his hard work PS on a sidenote he definitely Taylor fits what he does to the person I have Alzheimer s and he was very patient with me and again made sure that I understand everything that was going on so thank you Garrett look forwardTo doing business in the futureService: Body & Trim

My own car was there for a week and they never once called me to let me know what was going on. I called and left MANY messages and never once had a return call. After 1 month and a half, I started calling again. My car got fixed from this collision center. Todd, who is the manager of this service, was impolite to talk to customer. He did not listen to customers when his customers pointed out all bad job. He tried to dump on customers. Please be aware of this center and stay away this guy.

I've had quite a few cars repaired here and 2 completely overhauled (prevented from totaling) at Thompson Collision. They were incredibly professional and helpful (thank you again JP for helping with the car seats)!!! My cars always look brand new (no paint line down the back) and they worked seamlessly with my insurance company. I'm not saying I hope to see them again soon, but with my luck, I know I will and won't go anywhere else.

They did a great front bumper paint job, however my car wash cleaner was stolen from my trunk. When confronted about this incident with the director (Lewis) blamed the homeless in the area and admitted other customers have had this issue with items being stolen from their vehicle. Oh and they apparently do not have cameras. So make sure to remove everything (valuable or not) from your vehicle if you want it serviced here.

The absolute worse experience I've ever had with a collision center. We took our vehicle there because our insurance company recommended this place. I'm calling and complaining with my insurance company as well that they use this place! The enterprise office they use is awful as is the collision center. They had our vehicle for over a month. We went almost 3 weeks with absolutely no communication at all. Our insurance company was paying for a rental vehicle. Because it took so long they stopped paying on it and Thompson agreed to pay for the rest of the time since it was their fault it was taking this long. They called on a late Friday afternoon to say the car was finally finished. Apparently they stopped paying for the enterprise vehicle that day and didn't bother to communicate any of that with us. I get a call Tuesday from Cameron at enterprise threatening to reposes the car. He was completely rude and arrogant and hung up on me. So I then call Thompson inquiring what was going on. That's when they inform me they stopped paying for the vehicle because we haven't picked it up yet. Mind you this was supposed to be a 2 week job that took almost 2 months. But now that their done we are supposed to drop everything on a dime and come immediately. I had an uncle in the hospital having a triple bypass, my daughter had a stomach bug and was throwing up and I'm getting threatening phone calls out of no where without knowing why. So we leave the house, pack my daughter up and go to Thompson. I speak with JP, Jim and another gentleman who just walked away in the middle of me talking. Jim speaks to his boss who agrees to pay enterprise for the 2 extra days we had the vehicle. We THINK it's all taken care of from there. Only to receive a $60 charge from enterprise the following day. I call enterprise and speak with Cameron again who informs me that the owner of Thompson refuses to pay for those 2 days and I'm essentially screwed. There was so much more but that's enough ranting. Worst. Experience. Ever!

Craig and JP were very friendly and reassuring. They took care of everything and I was able to get a rental from Enterprise right there. The repairs were finished ahead of schedule and the car looks brand new. Extremely pleased with the quality of service and highly recommend.

If I could review this collision center negative stars, I would make it. This collision center lied to customer. I could point out, who was Todd, manager of this collision center. My car got stolen months ago and one of my keys got stolen too. I got the price, which was $1200 for then new locking system and 2 new keys and would get back the key and old locking system. I handed over my old key to them and let them fix my car too. They took one month to get it done. Later, they handed over to me 2 keys and a new locking system. They did not give the old key to me because they lied and reused my old key and saved $400 on it. When I asked to get the key back, they tried to delay and told me that the lady, who held the key, was sick. They called me 4 days later and tried to dump on me. They said that they made me confused because they would reuse the old key. Todd lied to customer and was very rude when he was speaking to me. They did a very bad job.

I chose this dump after a non fault accident through geico. It was a simple dented bumper and dented trunk. Less than $1500 worth of damage, so not too crazy, or so one would think. 4 weeks later and I still haven't received my car. I went 2.5 weeks without even hearing a word from them, I had to call them multiple times to get a straight answer as to what's going on with my car. If I could give them 0 stars I would. I've seen repairs done in a small mom and pop auto shop faster then a huge place like this. Stay far away!

How dare you people. How dare you. Your negligence is astounding. I have experience negligence and incompetence before, but never on quite a level. You all could have been responsible for a young teenager's death, and yet you did not show regret. We went here a get our SUV repaired after a accident. The car spent almost one month in your care, for whatever bull crap reasons. When we got it back, it seemed to be in good condition, but when taken for a oil and filter change at the dealership where the car was purchased, and they were amazed that I drove it there. The car was leaking so much transmission fluid that I had to buy fluid there just to go back to the collision center. Now, if one were to run out of transmission fluid while driving, the car would stop and stall. If it were to happen while driving on the highway, you would be SOL. At the collision center we accosted the person that was in charge of fixing the car. He showed no regret, and was extremely defensive. We ended up at another place, and are never going to this place again. Hell seems like a better option. You come here, you risk death.

Wish I could do 0 stars. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! They took two weeks to repair my car, which is fine, but Allstate requested a supplement to continue to pay for my rental since the damage did not warrant two weeks (driver door had to be replaced/repainted). They did not submit and I got stuck with the rental build. They made it very clear, it was not their fault and that it was up to me to foot the bill. I had to go back and forth between Allstate and Thompson with promises that they would submit a supplement and that did not happen. I am very disappointed with how I was treated as a customer! Will never go here again or recommend anyone else to go here! I wish I had read the reviews before I went here. On a positive note, the repair was very nice, but the customer service was horrible.

Please do yourselves a favor and go elsewhere to have your vehicle repaired. Absolutely terrible. I took my vehicle here to have the front bumper repaired after my non fault accident. Seemed great at first. Picked my car up to have no one walk out with me to explain the repair and to ensure everything was correct. As I got home, my husband and I took a look and we notice that the bumper was placed on with two very large gaps in between my fog lights. I called the "tech manager" who oversaw my work (some manager he is), Brandon Dossa and advised him of this. I brought the car back and he advised that he needed to reach out to Honda because he was not sure what was wrong with the bumper everything was placed back on correctly. He advised that I would here from him within 2-3 days. This was a Monday. I didn't hear back from Brandon for 2 weeks. I called and left multiple messages as they just kept transferring me to a line where no one would pick up. Finally I called and demanded that I speak with him or someone who worked my claim and finally I spoke with Brandon. Brandon advised that he still didn't hear back from Honda and he would call them (shouldn't you of called them after not hearing back within 24 hours? Common sense). I demanded that he give me a date to get my car done as I was not waiting any longer and we decided on a Thursday. He advised me that there was not a piece missing and that it should only take about 20 minutes to fix but for the inconvenience of bringing it back and fourth, they would provide me with a rental car at no-charge so I could get to work. The night before I was supposed to bring the car in, Brandon decided to call my husband and advise him that there was in fact a piece that was to go in between the fog light and the bumper and they had to order it so I couldn't bring it in until Friday. Fast forward to Friday, I take the car in. Go to pick it up Saturday morning and the work is still done incorrectly and there is still a pretty big gap between the right fog light and the bumper. I spoke with a gentleman named, Rj (believe that was his name) who told me that he oversees all the work that is done there. He advised me that he would ensure everything was done correctly and that they would even give me a complimentary car wash (big whoop). Fast forward to today. I pick my car up with still a gap between the bumper and fog light but at this point I'm so mad that I decided I'm just going to take the car elsewhere because third time wasn't a charm. Get into my car to find DRIED UP MUD ALL OVER MY SEATS, FLOOR, STEERING WHEEL, RADIO, AND MY CENTER COMPARTMENT. Magically here comes Rj who so he says oversees all the work, stating "let me make this right for you sweetheart". First of all, no one should address anyone that way when they've had this many issues as it's now not a term of endearment, it is now a term of sarcasm. Their fixing it, was making me wait to not even get all of the dirt off. Everyone should do themselves a favor and take their vehicle to Thompson Collision Center because it will just be more of a headache on top the headache you had to go through with your accident. Kuddos to you, Thompson. YOU SUCK.

I went to the facility in Baltimore, MD. Horrible service.I went on a Saturday when unfortunately the power was out. However they were able to take pictures of my car and said on Monday when the power was back on the images would be loaded. It is not 4 weeks later and numerous phone calls later with Chuck at the facility and my insurance and I still do not have a completed estimate. Chuck assured me everything was okay that they would have it all set up. However 3-4days later in conversation with the insurance they had not received any of the appropriate information from the shop. Now 4 weeks later and multiple times of Chuck providing reassurance that it would be just a few more days, Chuck informed my insurance that they don't have any pictures and if I want an estimate I need to drive back to the shop.

The service was excellent however I left some change in my change slot and all of it was stolen. Its my fault that I left the money in the change slot. I highly recommend that if u use their services that u take out all your valuables. The work was spotless and totally on point. Just leave nothing that can be considered open season for anyone who wants it if they come upon it in your car.

Sir & Ma'am: I went Thompson Collision Center At Edgewood, MD on 11/08/2018 with GECIO AutoRepair Express and They was aware that I am deaf and need assistance. I wrote what I need for my 2010 Honda Element for Repair. They are doing Awesome with my 2010 Honda Element. They did willing write any note what They need asked me. It is really teamwork, caring and compassion that I need.

This place is great. After I got into an accident, Thompson, Geico, and Enterprise made the process of getting it fixed/getting my rental SO EASY. Also, everyone at Thompson is super nice and helpful. The repair looks amazing, I can't even tell where the damage was. I definitely recommend Thompson if you need a repair!

I had an accident this past summer, and I was not at fault. I was referred to Thompson Collision by Gieco so I toke it there and when I got it back, it was worse than before, they couldn't clearly tell me what work was done to my jeep and I am not finding out that they had put the wrong axle in. My jeep won't disengage from four wheel drive which it did before the accident. I understand that after a accident, your vehicle will never be the same but the nightmare continues. They did not fix my bent up transmission lines which were leaking fluid everywhere and was obviously FROM the accident because when I was hit, my left control arm was bent up against the transmission lines crushing them. I ended up having to take my jeep elsewhere to get my transmission lines fixed which was more of a expense. I continued to have problems with my axle and I was told to take it back to Thompson's collision and when I did they refused to fix the faulty work they had done by installing the incorrect axle. I was left no other options. This place gave me horrible service, did NOT keep me updated on the repairs and then left me with more problems than I had before the accident.

Horrible!!!! I took my 2016 Jeep Rubicon there to have the rear repaired. The person that hit me went underneath the jeep. I told them this and was told we only look at the underneath if the vehicle was hit in the wheel. They told me the car was fixed, I drove it home had a horrible squeak from the back end. Took it back to them & was told we call you tomorrow. Not!! Turns out the upper & lower rear control atms are severely damaged. I am still trying to get it fixed. NOBODY returns calls

My daughter had a slight accident with my pickup truck , so I needed a body shop to help. I was referred to Thompson by a neighbor here in Harford County. When I got it back it looked better than before the accident! In addition the folks at Thompson kept me informed every step on the way. I highly recommend this shop should you need auto body services .

My daughter has taken her car, and this is my 2nd car repaired there. People are friendly and organized, and their work is fantastic. I would highly recommend them for all collision repairs.

HORRIBLE COSTUMER SERVICE! They will not contact you, you have to keep calling, and they don't go over everything. My steering is messed up after my accident and they didn't even touch it. I have an 02 silverado only have 78,000 on it and my idler and pitman arm are toast! Didn't have ANY issues before! They tell me "we didn't do suspension work and you can fix it yourself"! You are the most worse place in the world for service! If you have GIECO and they suggest this hell hole TAKE IT ELSEWHERE PLEASE! !

Poor Customer service. Untrained staff. Get told one thing, arrive to be told another thing. Basically will not repair my car because Im not going through insurance. "we do not take 3rd party payments." If you get paid up front for the repairs in person whats the problem?
